hi yes so- written parts, tweets or screenshots?
this is me being impatient and updating even though the poll isn't over yet —
Jungkook was seated on his chair as the makeup artist and hair stylist did their job in getting him ready for the shoot. He was quiet, when most days he was energetic and trying to make everyone giggle.
So, seeing the model extremely quiet was odd. Both employees shared a look when he let out a small sigh. They continued on with their work, noticing he also didn't have his phone with him. “Are you okay, Jungkook-ah?” Momo asked while applying lip tint on his pouty lips.
The model glanced over at her, a small hum being his response. Nayeon gave the makeup artists a look, “You're rather quiet today.” She said, Jungkook looked over at her through the mirror and gave her the tiniest of smiles.
“Just didn't sleep well, don't worry.” He reassured them and let out a small chuckle when they smiled at him. They finished up his makeup and hair, and ushered him to his stylist, Irene. Jungkook was in the middle of getting dressed when the door opened, Jimin walked in.
Making his way straight to the stylist to get his own clothes. The younger male kept to himself as he finished up, listening to Jimin chat up the stylist. “Noona, I’m gonna go ahead and head to the set, thank you so much.” Jungkook smiled at her, the stylist
walking over to do some finishing touches on his clothes before allowing him to leave. “Do great, Jungkook!” She said as the model walked out, Jimin’s eyes were on him.
Jungkook walked onto set, looking around and taking it in. He felt a tap on his shoulder, turning around to see one of the many employees running around. “You're up next, and the photographer also requested you take some shots with Jimin-ssi if that's okay with you?”
The model nodded slowly, “Yeah that's fine.” The employee smiled at him before running off to god knows where. Jungkook walked over to sit on one of the empty seats set up for the models. It didn't take long for Jimin to sit in the chair next to him, but Jungkook paid him no
mind. “Where's your manager today?” Jungkook glanced over at the elder then moved his gaze back down to the ground, “His wife went into labor, I told him not to worry about me.” Jimin hummed as he continue to stare at the younger male, “Is that why you look like shit?
Because you have to do everything on your own?” Jungkook frowned, turning to look at Jimin directly who looked indifferent. “No, I didn't sleep well.” “Right, is that why you haven't texted Taehyung back?” Jimin asked, Jungkook let out a humorless chuckle as he looked away.
“Not that it's any of your concern or business, but my phone didn’t charge the entire night so it's dead. I didn't think of charging it when I woke up as I would be busy with this shoot. Feel free to let the CEO know that.” Jungkook stood up and walked over to the photographer
who bid him over. Jimin watched him walk away, rolling his eyes at how rude the younger one could be. But he was still going to keep an eye on him for his best friend’s sake. Jungkook did amazing, as always. The photographer gave him very little direction and was in love with
the end results. Jungkook was a natural in front of the camera and anyone with a set of eyes could tell. After Jungkook, it was Jimin’s turn. So while the male was busy with that, Jungkook walked back to hair and makeup.
His stylists being quick to fix him up for the next session. Irene walked in with his clothes in hand, ready for him to change into. The makeup and hair didn't take long, so he changed his clothes with Irene’s help. “You look stunning, Jungkook.
I still don't understand how someone like you could be single.” All three women giggled, making the model blush, “I guess a relationship just isn't what I want as of now.” “Does that mean your parents have stopped pestering you about going on dates they set up?”
Momo asked, Jungkook looked over at her as Irene finished up. “They keep pestering but I use my schedule as an excuse and they don't insist as often. Maybe one day I’ll get them off my back,” Jungkook said, a faint smile on his lips.
Jimin walked into the room in that moment, and Jungkook hoped he hadn't heard what he had just said. Jungkook took a seat and waited until Jimin was finished, as they needed to leave together anyway. When the three stylists walked out of the room, Jimin spoke up.
“Does Taehyung know your parents keep setting you up?” Jungkook scoffed and stood up, making his way toward the door. “Do you usually stick your nose in other people’s relationships?” Jimin grabbed him by the arm, yanking him back and making him face him. “I do when that
relationship is my best friend’s. And I don't like you attitude, so you better tone it down.” What Jimin didn't expect was for Jungkook to tear up and pull his arm away from the elder. “I'm going to ask this as respectfully as possible, leave my relationship alone Jimin-ssi.”
Jimin’s intense gaze softened, Jungkook sniffled and walked out of the room leaving a confused Jimin behind. He heard a choked sob as the other walked off and it made Jimin feel bad. The two worked well together, kept it professional. Jungkook ignored Jimin’s glances as they
posed. He tried everything he could to get his attention but Jungkook refused. Wanting nothing more than to finish as quickly as possible, wanting to go back to his own apartment. When the photographer told them they were done for the day, Jungkook walked away quickly,
wanting to get out of the clothes and remove his makeup. Jimin decided not to speak to him until they were both on their way out. Jungkook was the first one to finish, grabbing his back. He waved to the women before he left the room. Jimin was quick to finish and run after him.
“Jungkook! Wait!” Jungkook stopped, but didn't turn around. Jimin moved to stand in front of him, and he saw just how tired the male looked. “Are you going to say something or are you just going to stare at me?” Jungkook mumbled, making Jimin shame his head.
“I wanted to know if you'd like to get a drink?” Jungkook frowned, Jimin looked at him expectantly. “No thank you.” Jungkook walked past him, Jimin quickly behind. “Why not?” Jungkook laughed at the ridiculous question. “Maybe because you don't even like me.
You've made it perfectly clear since the day we met, and even more the day Taehyung told you about us. So save it.” The two males made their way out of the studio they were in, and the blonde walked toward his car. “Let me ask you this.”
Jungkook said as he turned around to Jimin, who stayed a few feet away. “During the week, how many times does Taehyung go out to a drink with you? Or dinner? or anything really?” Jimin looked at him for a few seconds before answering.
“Twice a week, most of the time. Why?” “Because I've seen him once, in the past two weeks. And it wasn't because I was the busy one. So, maybe I’m not the one you should be trying to talk to.” Jungkook said nothing more as he got into his car and drove off.
Jimin frowned and pulled his phone out to text Taehyung.
He put his phone down and for some reason he felt bad for the way Taehyung replied about Jungkook. And knowing Taehyung had not gone home the previous night, one would think he'd want to see Jungkook whenever he'd be able to.
Jimin stared at his best friend sitting across from him, watching him nurse his drink. He looked exhausted but still agreed to drink. Which made him think back to what Jungkook had told him earlier in the day. “What's in your mind, Jiminie?” Taehyung asked, his
gaze moving toward his best friend. “Nothing, just had a question.” Taehyung took a sip of his drink, waiting patiently for Jimin to continue. “When was the last time you saw Jungkook?” Taehyung raised an eyebrow at him curiously, he hummed in thought before replying.
“Maybe two weeks ago, I did talk to him everyday though. Well, we texted really. Except today.” Jimin slowly nodded but his silence had Taehyung leaning in, observing him. “Why the question?” “No reason, he just looked so exhausted today is why.” Taehyung nodded and leaned
back against his chair, “Like I said, it's probably work.” “Yeah, probably.” Jimin mumbled, watching as Taehyung looked around the place. For some reason it didn't sit right with him that Taehyung didn't seem to care about his boyfriend’s well being.
Let alone want to see him after weeks of not doing so. “You guys have a few free days don't you?” Taehyung asked, making Jimin nod. “Then he’ll be able to rest well, so he's not as exhausted.” “Right.” “Don't worry too much, he likes to overwork himself sometimes,
it's nothing he can't handle.” Taehyung replied, finishing up his drink. “What's his favorite color?” Taehyung frowned as he looked over at his best friend, but Jimin was expressionless as he looked back at him. “Purple.” “Ah, makes sense. His bag is purple.”
Jimin hummed, finishing up his own drink as well. “Anyway, I’m tired after today’s shoot. And you look like you haven't slept in days. Let's head home, you need your rest mister CEO” Jimin chuckled, making Taehyung roll his eyes playfully.
They each went their separate ways, but the entire ride home Jimin couldn't stop thinking about Taehyung and Jungkook’s relationship. - Jungkook was lying on his bed, curled up really, when his doorbell rang. He groaned and slowly got himself up, making his way to open.
He opened it, his eyes going wide when he saw who was standing in front of him. “Jimin-ssi? What are you doing here?” Jungkook asked, his voice soft and hesitant. “I figured you hadn't eaten. You didn't eat at the shoot, and you didn't look like you had enough energy to
either cook or get yourself something afterward.” Jimin said, Jungkook’s eyes trailed down to his hand, where he was holding a takeout bag. “How did you know where I live?” Jungkook asked, his eyes back on the elder. “I asked around.”
Jungkook frowned, crossing his arms over his chest, “Asked who?” “Momo and Nayeon.” Jungkook rolled his eyes, because of course the girls would tell Jimin where he lived. “Did Taehyung send you?” Jungkook then asked, letting out a small sigh. Jimin shook his head making
Jungkook look at him in question. “I came here on my own. Wondered if we could talk?” “What is there to talk about?” Jungkook leaned against the door frame. Jimin and him didn't have the best relationship. He wasn't sure why, the elder always seemed to be annoyed by him,
so he made sure to avoid him at all costs. Jungkook never wanted to be a bother or be hated for no reason, but that resulted to be hard to do when Taehyung told him Jimin was his best friend. “Taehyung.” Jungkook’s gaze moved to the floor, he glanced at the take out bag
before he moved aside to allow Jimin to enter. The elder walked in, waiting for Jungkook to close the door and lead him to the kitchen or dining room. They made their way to the kitchen, where Jimin set the bag down on the island. “Want anything to drink?” “Water is fine.”
Jungkook nodded as he got the elder his drink. The air was thick and there was an awkward sensation to it. Jungkook handed Jimin his water and the elder thanked him quietly. “What about Taehyung?” “I saw him tonight.” This made Jungkook chuckle humorlessly,
walking over to open the takeout bag. “Of course you did. How is he?” Jimin watched Jungkook take the food containers out, he looked like he was trying his best to hold back tears. “Fine, looks tired.” Jungkook hummed, looking over at Jimin.
“So what, you came here to tell me you see him more than me?” Jimin shook his head, “I came here to tell you, you were right. He was tired as hell and instead of coming here to see you or spend time with you, he didn't hesitate to agree to see me.”
Jungkook shrugged and took out some plates and cutlery, “Yeah, well. It's how things are. I’m just his dirty little secret.” Jimin frowned at that, “What are you saying? You're not his secret. Don't think of him that way, Jungkook.” “Are you aware that no one but you, and his
brothers know we're together? And my two best friends. Because he refuses to tell anyone else. That he told me from the beginning no one would know.” Jungkook explained, Jimin watching him walk around the kitchen. “I asked why, and he said it was because our reputation would
suffer. It's always the same reason whenever I ask.” Jungkook turned to look at Jimin. “We don't go out on dates, because no one is meant to see us together. I am not meant to interact with him at work, unless it's in a room full of other people and he's directly addressing me.
I am not to call him when he's with his family, because they can't know. And if asked in interviews I must say I’m single.” Jungkook couldn't take it anymore and he finally allowed his tears to flow down his cheeks. Jimin stared at the boy in disbelief, he didn't know any of
that. How could he? Taehgung never mentioned it. “I agree to it all because I am deeply and madly in love with him, and would do anything to be by his side.” “But it's too much, it's almost two years of this, and I don't know how much longer I can take.”
Jungkook wiped his face, beginning to eat. He felt embarrassed because he had cried in front of Jimin. “I'm sorry, I didn't know.” Jungkook shrugged, his mouth full of food. Jimin walked over and did what he never thought he would ever do. He was standing next to the younger
model when he turned to look at the elder. Jimin wrapped his arms around Jungkook, hugging him tightly. It was what caused Jungkook to completely break down in his arms, his own wrapping tightly around Jimin.
The elder felt horrible as he heard the broken cries that left the younger. “I'm so sorry, Jungkook..” Jimin allowed Jungkook to cry all that he needed to, and had him eat because he shouldn't go to bed with an empty stomach.
When Jimin said he would be taking his leave it was around midnight. Jungkook thanked him, and even apologized for crying. Jimin shook his head and told him not to be sorry. Maybe they weren't friends, but at least Jimin understood him a little more.
The following morning, Jimin woke up to dozens of messages from his manager and even Taehyung.
Jungkook knocked on the door, trying his best to hold back his sobs. The door opened and he was pulled into a tight embrace that caused him to break down. “Shh, it's okay.. hyung’s here.” Yoongi pulled Jungkook into the apartment, the model letting out the most
heartbreaking sobs he’s ever heard. Yoongi led them toward his bedroom, where he laid Jungkook down on his bed and moved to lay next to him. Jungkook clutched to his shirt as he cried loudly against his hyung’s neck.
The elder hated seeing his best friend in such a state, as a matter of fact, he had never seen him so broken. He kept him close and continuously pressed kisses to the top of his head, as well as whispering reassurances to him. It was about half an hour later when Jungkook’s
sobs subsided, he slowly pulled back to look up at his hyung. It pained Yoongi’s heart how sad and broken Jungkook looked. “I saw the articles, I somehow knew nothing good was going to come from that.. who ended it?” Yoongi asked, Jungkook sniffled and laid his
head on his hyung’s chest. “I did.. I asked him if he could take the opportunity to announce we were together and he shut me down again..” Yoongi sighed and hugged him tightly. “It's going to be okay, Jungkook..” Yoongi mumbled, glancing down at his best friend.
“I work for him, hyung.. I don't know how okay this will be..” Jungkook whispered, sniffling softly afterward. “Whatever the case, you've got Hoba and I.” Jungkook smiled sadly, pressing his face agaisnt the elder’s chest.
“Thank you, I love you.” He mumbled, making Yoongi smile. “We love you too.” - Taehyung was laying on his bed, Jimin sitting being him as the CEO had his back to his best friend. “I kept him a secret to protect him.”
Jimin stayed quiet, waiting for his best friend to continue. “When we first started dating, I wanted nothing more than to show him off to the world. But he was scared people would say he used me for his career.” The model couldn't help but smile bitterly, as he had been one
of the people to think that. “Then one day, during a charity gala. I heard his parents talk about him.” Taehyung was staring at the wall, dried tears on his cheeks. “I overheard them say that they would never approve of Jungkook's relationships because they knew what was best
for him. They even said that they'd make sure to ruin Jungkook’s career if they ever found out he was dating someone behind their back.” Jimin’s gaze moved down to the bed, taking in what Taehyung was saying. He did do it to protect him. He was protecting Jungkook’s career.
“It scared me. So, from that day I became so cold and distant with him. Gave him rules to follow and told him no matter what we weren't going to announce our relationship.” Taehyung’s voice cracked as he spoke. “He was okay with at first, for the reason I mentioned earlier.
And I knew his love for me was infinite so he would agree to the rules, as stupid as they were.” Jimin didn't want to interrupt, but he had questions. “He must've gotten so tired, because after a while he kept asking me to announce it. I refused every time.
I always felt so guilty and I showered him with gifts and long nights in bed to make up for it.” “I knew it wasn't right, but I couldn't risk his career.” “You're the CEO.. his career would've been secure..” Jimin mumbled, Taehyung sat up and turned to face the model.
“He comes from a family of politicians, Jimin. Me being a CEO is nothing compared to what they could do. I was scared for him, and I knew how much he had worked for his career. I wasn't going to be the reason he lost it.” Taehyung explained, tears welling up in his eyes.
“Why didn't you tell him? Taehyung, why weren't you honest with him?” Jimin asked, taking the CEO’s hands in his. “This could've been prevented.” “Despite him hating how his family always ushers him to do things they want, he loves them, Jimin. He wouldn't have believed me..”
“You don't know that, Taehyung! You should've told him!” Jimin said, eyes wide in confusion. Taehyung let out a small sob, his head hung low. “I know.. and I lost him..” Jimin hugged his best friend tightly, which prompted Taehyung to cry against his shoulder. “Give him time.
When you think the time is right, reach out to him and talk this out. He loves you, Taehyung. Way too much, if I say so.” Taehyung sniffled and nodded his head, “I'll do that.. keep an eye on him for me?” Jimin rolled his eyes, “Just because I did it once doesn't mean I'm
going to become your lover boy's guardian angel.” Taehyung looked at him with the saddest puppy eyes Jimin had ever seen, “Please?” Jimin groaned and pushed Taehyung away, “Fine.” Taehyung smiled, and despite the circumstances he knew Jungkook loved him and he loved Jungkook.
Maybe they weren't okay at the moment, but Taehyung hoped they would be soon. Luck was not on Taehyung’s side. The following morning, he was informed by his secretary that Jungkook had accepted the three month deal with Louis Vuitton. He’d be out of the country.
The deal was out for grabs, it had been offered to Jungkook months ago. Louis Vuitton never retracted because they wanted to work with the model more than anything. So they said that the offer stood, no matter how long it took for him to accept.
Going through a breakup was a good opportunity to leave the country, especially when your ex is your boss. Taehyung sighed as he looked over at Jimin, who was giving him a sad look. They were in the CEO’s office, the model had wanted to make sure Taehyung was okay,
even if he had days off. “Have you tried other ways of contacting him?” Jimin asked, Taehyung shook his head. “No, I’m doing what you said, I’m giving him time.” The model nodded, biting his lip nervously. “Maybe, you should post a statement soon.
Or have the company release a statement.” Taehyung nodded, his eyes focused on the desk. “Yeah, they already did. You're cleared, don't worry.” “It's not me I’m worried about.” Taehyung glanced over at his best friend, letting out a sad sigh.
“I'll be fine. I'll keep myself busy with work, and once he comes back from his work abroad, I’ll talk to him.” Taehyung shrugged, making his friend frown. “Don't overwork yourself, Taehyung.” “I won’t.”
- Three months later - Taehyung was in a meeting when the door suddenly opened, Jimin walked in startling everyone in the room. The CEO looked at him in confusion, but Jimin gave him a warm smile and it was all Taehyung needed to know what was going on. Jungkook had returned.
“So, have you thought about what we asked Jungkookie?” Jungkook turned to look at his mother, they were driving to his parents’ house for dinner. His mother had wanted to pick him up from the airport. “The marriage arrangement?” Jungkook asked, sounding extremely exhausted.
His mother smiled, nodding her head at him. Jungkook sighed and looked back out the window, “Will it make you and appa happy?” “Very much so. Besides, he comes from a very respectable family. He will help you so much with your image and career, sweetie.
He's the best match for you.” She explained, excitement clear in her voice. “He's the middle child. The eldest is already married, and the youngest child well, his parents think he's still not capable of being in a committed relationship.
They also believe their son is the best match.” Jungkook watched the buildings, he stayed quiet for a few minutes. It made his mother anxious actually. He finally looked back at her, giving her the tiniest of smiles he could muster.
“Okay eomma, I’ll do it.” His mother squealed and pulled him for a hug, pressing kisses all over his face. Jungkook chuckled dryly and patted her arms so she'd let go. “Thank you, baby. This means so much to your appa and I. You've made us so proud.”
Jungkook nodded slightly before looking away. “I'll call his parents and set up a meeting, this is so exciting!” Jungkook knew the reason he had accepted was because his heart wouldn't be in it. He was sure he had locked up his heart in a safe and forgotten the combination.
He wanted to protect his heart. After what had happened with Ta- the CEO, he couldn't risk hurting again. So if an arranged marriage was the way to go, then so be it. He'd keep his heart safe and make his family proud. “Do you know his name?” Jungkook asked, turning to look
at his very happy mother. She giggled and waved him off. “Don't you worry about that, baby. You’ll know when you need to.” Jungkook hummed and looked away from her, “Alright, eomma” Dinner at his parents was all about his engagement, his father telling him how proud he was of
Jungkook. His mother went on and on about how gorgeous the wedding would be. His sister however, stared at him the entire dinner, she didn't seem pleased. Jungkook looked over at her and she was looking at him sadly. He shook his head and continued on with his dinner,
wanting to get some rest as soon as possible. “Thank you for letting me stay the night, appa. I appreciate it.” He said, looking over at his parents who chuckled lightly. “You're our son, you're always welcomed here.” His father replied, making Jungkook smile a bit.
“If you excuse me, I'm very tired from my flight and would like to get some rest.” Jungkook stood up, thanking them once again before he walked off. He entered his old bedroom and quickly made his way to the bed. He was too tired to even shower, he just wanted to sleep.
That seemed impossible though, when the door opened and his sister walked in, making her way to his bed. She laid next to him, they were facing each other. Jungkook’s eyes were only half open. “Why did you agree?” She asked, whispering really.
“Because I knew if I didn't, their next target would be you. And I don't want that for you.” He mumbled, making her tear up. “Oppa, I would've been fine..” Jungkook smiled, pulling his sister to him and hugging her tightly. “I'm doing this for you, and for them.
Maybe if I agree, they won't try to do it with you. I'll make sure of it.” His sister sniffled and hugged him back tightly, “I love you, Jungkook.” “I love you too, Somi. I’ll always be here for you.” He pressed a kiss to her forehead, and fell asleep with his little sister
in his arms. Just like when they were little and she would cry in her sleep. He promised to protect her then, and he would still do it in a heartbeat.
- “Namjoon-ah, come here sweetheart.” Namjoon walked into his father's office, his mother was sitting on one of the chairs. “Yes?” He looked at them both, noticing how excited his mother looked. “Sit, we have some news we'd like to share with you.” Namjoon smiled at the
two before taking a seat next to his mother. He looked over at his father, who looked proud for some reason. “We have found you a fiancé.” Namjoon’s eyes widened as he turned to look at his mother in shock. “What?” His mother nodded excitedly, taking his hands in hers.
“We talked to a family, they have a son. He's not that much younger than you, and we think you two would make an excellent match. We offered the engagement and gave them a few weeks to decide on it, since their son was out of the country.” His mother explained.
Namjoon stared at his mother, in complete disbelief. “Their son returned and accepted! We're so excited!” “We're happy that you'll be taking the next step toward your future, son. He's very well known and you are too, he actually works for the company. So, you'll be able to be
around each other. You're the perfect match.” His father added, making Namjoon turn to look at him. “Your brother’s marriage turned out incredible, so now it's your turn, Namjoon-ah. It will be good, for you, for him, for our families and for your careers. Trust us.”
Namjoon’s gaze slowly moved to his mother who was looking at him expectantly. “You agree, right?” She asked, and as a man who likes to please those he cares for, Namjoon agreed. “Of course, eomma. I accept the engagement.” His mother giggled and hugged him tightly,
as his father proudly looked on. He was excused and as he was walking out, he turned to his parents. “What's his name?” “Jeon Jungkook.” His mother smiled, and Namjoon felt his blood run cold. He slowly nodded and excused himself. “Fuck.” He mumbled as he walked away.
- “You agreed to what?!” Hoseok and Yoongi asked at the same time, eyes wide as they stared at Jungkook in disbelief. Jungkook sighed, taking a sip of his drink. “I agreed to get married to someone my parents chose.”
“Why would you do that?” Hoseok asked, looking between Jungkook and Yoongi, trying to understand what was going through the younger’s mind. “I can't get my heart broken if I marry someone I don't love. Besides, if I had said no their next victim would have been Somi.”
He explained, and at the mention of his sister’s name, Yoongi and Hoseok’s shoulders fell. They knew that one of the most important people in Jungkook’s life was his sister. So, they understood where he was coming from. Jungkook’s family is complicated.
They're supportive but when it comes to things that will make the entire family look good. In things that will boost the family’s image and reputation positively. They never approve of Jungkook’s partners, not that he's had many.
They don't let Somi be out and enjoying her life because they fear she’ll do something stupid and tarnish the family name. They're loving and supporting, but in limitations. To them, image and reputation is everything, then it's their children.
They can’t blame Jungkook for agreeing. “Well, are we at least going to be invited?” Hoseok asked, making Yoongi glare at him. Jungkook chuckled, nodding his head in response. “Yeah, I need you two and my sister there to get through the day.” Jungkook admitted,
smiling lightly over at his best friends. “Do you know who it is?” Yoongi asked, Jungkook shook his head and shrugged his shoulders. “Eomma told me she'd let me know when the time was right. And I have a feeling it's going to be right before we meet.”
Jungkook rolled his eyes and leaned back on his chair. “Good luck with that.” Yoongi chuckled, looking at his best friend in worry. Hoseok did the same before they glanced at each other. Jungkook picked up his phone, receiving a text message from his mother.
“Looks like we're meeting tonight.” He mumbled, putting his phone down. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. “Have you talked to Taehyung?” Hoseok dared to ask, making Yoongi mentally facepalm and Jungkook looked over at him with a frown.
“Now why would I talk to him? We broke up. He has no reason to know any of this. Why even bring him up?” Jungkook looked away, clearly upset. “Because you still obviously love him.” Hoseok said, making Yoongi look over at the youngest male. Jungkook took a deep breath before
turning to his best friends. “He hurt me nonetheless, whether I love him or not is not a factor in this. I’m doing this for my family. For my sister. Don't bring him up again, hyung.” Hoseok nodded, sighing softly. “Sorry, Jungkook.”
Jungkook nodded and looked over a Yoongi who gave him a reassuring smile. - After meeting with his hyungs, Jungkook walked into the company, dressed comfortably but still very fashionable. He smiled and waved at people walking by, many of them saying they hoped he had a
good time and welcome back. He made his way directly toward the elevator and went up to the 10th floor. When the elevator doors opened, he walked out and made his way toward where he knew the other model would be. The lounge. He stepped into the room, and the only male in it
looked up from his phone gasping softly. “Well if it isn't mister ‘I’m the face of LV’ in the flesh.” Jungkook chuckled and walked further into the room. Jimin smiled and stood up hugging the younger male. Jungkook hugged him back, pulling away to take a seat next to
where the elder had been sitting. “How have you been Jimin-ssi?” Jimin sat down and took in Jungkook’s appearance, he looked good but he could see the sparkle in his eyes was no longer there. “I've been good, what about you?”
“I'm okay. It's good to be back, I can't wait to get some work done here. I've missed it.” He said, leaning his head back on the chair. “Well it's been a pleasure being able to work without your annoying ass.” Jimin smirked, making Jungkook chuckle. “Still an asshole I see.”
“Still a brat I see.” Jimin replied, making Jungkook roll his eyes playfully. It was quiet after, Jimin could sense Jungkook had something he wanted to ask, and he believed he knew what it was. He waited a little longer before he himself spoke up.
“What's on your mind?” Jungkook looked at him, a small smile on his lips. “Ah, well. Do you think the company will freak out if I tell them I’m getting married?” Jimin’s eyes widened as he looked at the male in shock. “Married?!”
Jungkook nodded slowly, his gaze moving to his hands. “Yeah, I’ll be meeting them today. Family arranged it.” “An arranged marriage? You're getting married to someone you don't know?” Jimin couldn't believe it, and he wasn't sure how his best friend would take it when he found
out. Because he knew he was bound to find out. “Yeah, it's crazy. But, my family asked for it and I want to make them proud and not let them down.” Jungkook whispered, glancing over at the other model. “What about Ta-” Jimin began but the look Jungkook gave him made him shut
up. “You don't want him to know?” “He's an ex, therefore if he knows it doesn't matter. I just choose not to have him know. We parted ways and I'd like to keep it that way.” Jungkook explained, making Jimin frown. “You're not even going to talk to him? Let him explain
everything? Why are you talking to me and not him? We were both part of that scandal.” Jungkook shook his head. “The scandal was only what encouraged me to break up with him. It was his wrongdoings and neglect of our relationship that led me to break up with him.”
Jimin sighed and looked away, of course he was upset the model wouldn't even hear his best friend out because he had reasons for doing what he did. But it was also Taehyung’s behavior that brought the issue upon him. “Just, think about it, yeah?” Jimin mumbled, Jungkook nodded.
“Sure. I've got to go, I only came to say hello and grab a suit LV sent over here by mistake. It was meant to be sent to my apartment.” Jungkook stood up and looked over at Jimin. “Nice seeing you. Take care, Jimin-ssi.” Jungkook began to walk toward the exit, Jimin snorted.
“You make it sound like you're leaving forever.” Jimin said, a teasing smile on his lips. “Well, if my future husband is rich I might not be staying in Seoul for long. He might drag me away.” Jungkook laughed before walking away. Leaving a thoughtful Jimin behind.
He was in a predicament. Should he tell Taehyung what he knew or let him find out on his own?
Jungkook was in the living room waiting for his sister to come down from her room. He was scrolling on his phone when his mother sat down next to him. He placed it down and turned to her to give her his undivided attention.
“I'm glad you're doing this, baby. You've made us so proud.” She said, causing Jungkook to give her a small smile. “Since we’ll be leaving as soon as your sister comes down, I wanted to tell you the name of your future husband.”
Jungkook straightened up, looking at her expectantly. “Kim Namjoon. The COO of Hybe Corp.” Jungkook’s heart fell to his ass. She had to be joking. “Isn't this existing? Oh you two are going to make such an amazing couple.” She giggled, completely unaware of the
millions of thoughts going on in Jungkook’s head. Just then, Somi walked into the living room, looking as gorgeous as ever. His mother stood up and walked over to fix a piece of her hair before smiling at the two. “I shall give you the address and you can meet us there.
Don't be too late, we must all enter together." Jungkook nodded slowly, his eyes on the coffee table in front of him. His mother smiled and walked off to get their father. Somi frowned as she stared at her brother, he slowly turned to look over at her.
She gasped softly when she noticed the tears welled up in his eyes, “Oppa.. are you okay?” Jungkook stood up, wiping his eyes quickly. “Yes I’m okay, come on, let's go. Don't want to upset her.” He led her out to his car, both of them waiting there until his parents were in
theirs. His sister typed in the address in his GPS and sat back, waiting to leave. “You can still back out, you don't have to do this.” She whispered, Jungkook shook his head in response. “It will be okay.” He mumbled before he drove off, following the directions of the GPS.
It didn't take them long to arrive, as the houses were relatively close, maybe 10 to 15 minutes. The house was huge, as expected, and for some reason that made Jungkook nervous. His eyes scanned the cars lined up at the front but he didn't see Taehyung’s, which meant he
probably decided not to show up. It made him let out a breath of relief. Once the car was parked, he helped his sister get out. She wrapped her arm around his, both of them walking toward their parents. At his mother’s request, they needed to walk in together.
So their parents walked ahead, and the siblings right behind. The door opened immediately and they were greeted by a woman that they instantly knew was Mrs Kim. “Welcome! It's so great to have you here.” She smiled warmly as she greeted them. When she got to
Jungkook, she placed her hands on his shoulders and looked him up and down. “Aren't you such a dashing young man? We're going to be so happy to have you be a part of our family.” Jungkook couldn't help but smile, because even though the situation was not ideal.
He had always wanted to hear that from Taehyung’s parents. And now he has. She escorted them in, her husband walking over to greet them as well. Somi kept to her brother’s side, not wanting to leave him. Jungkook noticed then, Seokjin and Namjoon walking over.
Mrs. Kim turned around and held her hand out for Namjoon. Her son smiled lightly and took her hand, walking over to stand in front of Jungkook. “Namjoon, this is Jungkook. Your fiancé.” She began, looking at her son with eyes full of life. Then she turned to Jungkook,
“And this is my son, Namjoon. A man I hope will make you the happiest you've ever been.” Jungkook smiled at her to be polite, then turned to Namjoon. And had to pretend that they didn't know each other, that Namjoon didn't know of Jungkook’s previous relationship
with his brother. “It's very nice to meet you, Namjoon-ah. It's an honor to be here with you all.” Namjoon gulped before he held his hand out, Jungkook slowly placed his in Namjoon’s and waited for the elder to lean down and press a kiss to the back of his hand.
“It's a pleasure to meet you. I hope this will be great for us all.” Jungkook gave him a warm smile and pulled his hand away. Somi watched in amusement as her eyes flicked between Namjoon and Jungkook. Seokjin then walked over and introduced himself, shaking all of their hands.
Jungkook felt like he had been a little firmer when shaking his but didn't comment on it. “My youngest son is running late, he had a meeting that took longer than expected. He will be joining us later in the evening.” Jungkook let out a shaky breath.
“But in the meantime, why don't we let these two get to know each other! While the rest of us head to the living room for some tea while dinner is finished being prepared.” Mrs. Kim suggested turning to Namjoon. “Why don't you show Jungkook the garden?”
Namjoon looked at his mother and nodded. He turned to Jungkook and held his hand out for him. Jungkook glanced at his parents who nodded encouragely at him, so he took Namjoon's hand. The two walked away, while their families walked toward the living room.
Once out in the garden, and away from everyone they let go of each other’s hands. They sat down on a small bench nearby, their backyard was massive so they made sure to walk as far away as they could. “Are you just as surprised as me?” Jungkook asked, making Namjoon chuckle.
“I was. They told me the day I accepted, well they told me after I had accepted. I felt horrible and I wasn't sure how I was going to tell Taehyung.” Namjoon explained, his eyes casted down. “I'm doing this for the family, I really didn't have a choice. But why did you agree?”
“For my sister. If I had disagreed they would've tried to marry her off next, and she's too young. And I thought being in a loveless marriage wouldn't be so bad. My heart wouldn't be in it and I'd see it as nothing more than a business deal.” Namjoon smiled apologetically.
“I understand. I think they decided to arrange this because of how incredible my hyung’s marriage turned out to be.” “Can you tell me about it?” Jungkook asked, Namjoon nodded. “Three years ago, my parents decided that he needed to marry. A business deal. He agreed instantly,
and didn't even hesitate. He's always been one to do everything my parents say. He's like them in a way, strict and family oriented.” Jungkook looked at Namjoon, curiously. “They married three months after agreeing to it. The wedding was huge and a success, and from it,
my parents were able to get Seulgi’s parents to invest in Hybe.” Namjoon looked over at a small pond nearby. “A year into their marriage, my hyung confessed to have fallen in love with his wife, and her with him. He went on and on about how he had never been so in love.
That he had our parents to thank for such a lovely marriage. Their marriage was a success. They are now expecting their first child.” Namjoon smiled lightly, turning to Jungkook. “And my parents believe it will happen again this time. That a marriage created for business will
turn into one of love.” Namjoon shrugged, Jungkook looked at him with his wide doe eyes. “What do they expect from this?” Jungkook whispered softly. “Your father is a politician. He expects to have support from the biggest company in Korea, Hybe. By being connected, they know
both sides will gain a lot from it.” Jungkook frowned, looking in the direction of the house then back at Namjoon. “But, isn't Taehyung CEO? Why are they making decisions for his company?” Namjoon sighed, looking at Namjoon in a way that showed that he was tired of it all.
“They like to think they can still make decisions for the company. They act like they still control it” Jungkook stayed quiet, knowing that Namjoon would probably explain further. “When we were kids, my parents focused the most on my hyung. He was the golden child. Well behaved,
always doing what he was told, never getting himself in trouble. He was the perfect child.” Namjoon rolled his eyes, “Then there was me, the one who did great in academics. They would boost their ego by talking about my academic achievements.” “Then with Taehyung, he was more of
a wild child. He hated being told what to do, he'd disobey our parents, he was a menace.” Jungkook couldn't help but smile at the thought of a young Taehyung causing chaos. “So my parents didn't pay him much attention, only focused on my hyung and I. Which is why our
grandfather made sure to show him unconditional love and support. No one likes to admit it, but Taehyung was our grandfather’s favorite.” Namjoon chuckles softly. And it showed Jungkook he held no grudge against it. “Our grandfather passed away when Taehyung was only 12. And in
his will, he stated that everything he ever owned, including the company, belonged to Taehyung.” Jungkook's eyes widened as he stared at the elder. “He stated that our father was to take over the company only until Taehyung turned 21. That as soon as he was 21, our father was
to step down and give the company to its rightful owner.” “Woah.. so that means he's only been CEO for 5 years?” Jungkook asked, mentally counting back dates. “That's right. Taehyung became CEO just three months before you joined.” Jungkook smiled at the memory of 21 year
old Taehyung welcoming him into the company. “It's why my parents think they can still make decisions for the company.” Jungkook nodded in understanding, nibbling on his bottom lip slightly. “You know, you were the first model to sign onto the company after Taehyung took over.
And I remember how excited he was, saying he was making big decisions.” Jungkook turned to the elder, smiling at him expectantly. “After meeting you, he'd go on and on about how pretty and handsome you were. He quickly developed this crush on you. And despite being your boss,
he always felt nervous when around you.” The model blushed deeply, looking away to avoid Namjoon from seeing him. But when the elder laughed softly, he knew it was useless. “I think it was when we were the closest. He’d text me at all hours to gush about you, and how much he
wanted to ask you out on a date” “And when you two finally started dating, he showed up at my apartment with tears in his eyes. I thought you had rejected him at first but then he started saying how it was the happiest he had ever been.” Jungkook teared up, looking at the elder
“Then it changed four months later. The texts stopped, the gushing about you stopped too. He no longer talked to me, let alone about you. He distanced himself and I never knew why.” Namjoon sighed, looking around the garden. “It was so weird and I still don't understand it.”
“He changed with me too. And it was so hard to get through that I'd rather not go into detail right now but he changed.” Jungkook mumbled, Namjoon nodded and placed a hand on Jungkook’s shoulder. “I'm sorry your relationship ended and I’m sorry you're now stuck with me.”
Namjoon smiled at him sadly and looked away once again. Jungkook took a deep breath and stood up, holding his hand out for Namjoon. The elder looked at his hand then up at Jungkook. “Come on, we need to get through this one dinner. I promise to be a good fiancé and husband,
I won't make this miserable for you.” Namjoon chuckled, taking Jungkook’s hand and standing up. “Then I promise the same.” The two walked back inside, holding onto each other's hands for show. However as soon as they stepped into the house, they were met with
Mrs. Kim and Taehyung. “Jungkook, sweetie! I wanted you to meet my youngest. This is Taehyung, the CEO of Hybe.” She said excitedly. Jungkook locked eyes with Taehyung and he knew the elder had been crying. “Hello, CEO Kim. How are you doing today?”
Jungkook asked, bowing slightly at Taehyung. Mrs. Kim giggled and lightly smacked his shoulder. “Oh no honey, you do not need to treat him like your boss right now. Treat him as your future brother-in-law.” She turned to Taehyung, smiling at him. “Hello Jungkook-ssi.
Welcome to the family.” No one noticed the way Taehyung sounded so broken saying those lines. No one but Jungkook. “Thank you.” He whispered, Mrs. Kim then ushered them into the dining room. Namjoon looked at his brother sadly before walking away with Jungkook.
Taehyung felt like he'd break down again any moment. When he received the text message in the family group chat, he started crying in his office. Jimin walked in 20 minutes later, looking distraught. It was then Jimin confirmed it was Jungkook who would be marrying Namjoon.
Taehyung broke down completely, crying for what seemed like hours in his best friend’s arms. Life was really fucking him over. He texted his mother to tell her he was in a meeting and would be late. When the truth was he needed to go home to clean himself up to look presentable.
And not like he had been crying for hours on end. Jungkook sat next to Namjoon, and coincidentally Taehyung ended up sitting across from the younger male. Seokjin was next to Taehyung, his mother next to his brother and his father was next to her at the head of the table.
Next to his father were Jungkook’s parents, then Jungkook and Namjoon. Lastly, on Taehyung’s other side was Somi. “Seulgi won't be joining us tonight?” Mrs. Kim asked Seokjin. Who smiled politely at her and shook his head.
“She was not feeling well, eomma. She asked me to give her apologies for not being able to be here.” Mrs. Kim shook her head. “Nonsense, she's pregnant, let her rest. No need to apologize.” Jungkook looked at Seokjin, a small smile on his lips, remembering what Namjoon had
told him in the garden about the elder and his marriage. Taehyung’s eyes stayed on Jungkook the entire dinner, while the model made sure to avoid looking at Taehyung. “I was thinking the wedding should be in three months.” Mrs.Jeon spoke up, causing Namjoon, Jungkook and
Taehyung to turn to look at her. “It's more than enough time to plan a beautiful wedding.” Jungkook let out a shaky breath, he felt anxious and so he looked down at his now shaky hands. Taehyung noticed and looked over at Namjoon in hopes of getting his attention.
When the elder looked at his brother, Taehyung mouthed out, “Jungkook’s anxious. His hands.” to him. Namjoon looked down at Jungkook’s shaky hands and reached over to take them in his. Jungkook looked up at Namjoon who gave him a reassuring smile, the model squeezed his hands
and took a few deep breaths. Taehyung watched on with an aching heart. “I say that's perfect! We can work together to ensure it's the wedding of the year! Model Jeon Jungkook marrying COO Kim Namjoon. Oh how exciting!” Mrs. Kim giggled. The males tuned out the rest of the
conversation, knowing they didn't have a say in their own wedding. And Taehyung simply didn't want to listen to his parents help plan the wedding of the man he loved to his brother. “Isn't that right, Taehyung?” The CEO looked away from Jungkook to his parents and the Jeon’s.
“I'm sorry, what did you say?” He cleared his throat, earning a look from his Seokjin hyung. “I was saying that because they are both well known to the public that the company should make an announcement about their engagement.”
Mr. Kim spoke, looking at Taehyung expectantly. “I think it would be best if you were the one to announce it. As a congratulations to your brother.” Taehyung let out a sad chuckle, glancing over at the now couple. “Yeah, sure. I’ll do that.”
His eyes locked with Jungkook’s, who looked at him for the first time since they were 'introduced’, “Is that what you want?” Jungkook was caught off guard at the question, he looked over at the Kim's and his parents, then at Namjoon. “I- uh, I thought maybe I could make it?”
He asked, turning to look at his parents. “I would like to announce my own engagement.” “Oh of course!” His mother smiled and pressed a kiss to his temple. “Let's get to it then, Namjoon, isn't there something you need to ask Jungkook?”
Mr. Kim added, making his son nod slowly. With a shaky breath, Namjoon stood up from his chair, only to get down on one knee. Jungkook was poked on his side by his mother for him to turn in his chair and face the elder.
He looked over at Taehyung and noticed the CEO with tears in his eyes, then at his sister who looked just as sad. Jungkook turned back to Namjoon who nervously pulled out a velvet box from his pocket. He noticed how nervous he was and Jungkook reached to take his free hand and
give it a gentle squeeze. Namjoon glanced at his brother and it broke his heart just how broken he looked. “Jeon Jungkook.. will you do me the honor of marrying me?” Jungkook didn't realize he was crying until Namjoon reached up to wipe a tear running down his cheek.
He let out a sad chuckle before nodding. “Yes, I’ll marry you.” Their parents erupted in cheers as Namjoon placed the ring on Jungkook's finger. Somi glanced at Taehyung who looked like he was doing everything humanly possible not to cry.
“Congratulations to the lovely couple.” Mrs. Kim said, holding out her wine glass. Namjoon sat back down looking over at Taehyung. “Will you excuse me, I need to answer this.” Taehyung said holding up his phone which was indeed not ringing. But the elders paid no mind.
He stood up and quickly walked away, needing to get out of there. “Please excuse me, I need to use the washroom.” Somi spoke up, her parents and the Kims nodding at her. She noticed how her brother’s eyes were set on the doorway Taehyung had walked out of.
Somi found Taehyung holding himself up down the hall, his hand on his chest as if clutching at his heart. She walked over to him and tapped his shoulder. He quickly turned to her, having been surprised. “Miss Jeon I-” She shook her head and took his hand in hers.
“Please fight for him.. he doesn't want this. He's doing it for my parents and to save me. You love him, I noticed it in the way you looked at him and the way he avoids looking at you.” She whispered, causing Taehyung to let out a small whimper. “I knew of you two, by accident
and never told him, I wanted him to tell me. I need you to save him from this marriage, he doesn't want it and neither do you.” Somi looked at Taehyung with tears in her eyes. “How? How could I possibly do that?” He asked, shaking his head.
“I’ll help you. And I know a few more people willing to help also. But please don't give up on him.” She pleaded, Taehyung looked at her eyes and they were much like Jungkook’s. He sniffled and nodded at her. “I'll do it, I’ll make sure to stop that wedding.”
Jungkook walked into the company, people were staring. Of course they were going to stare, he announced his engagement to the COO of the company. He quickly made his way toward Namjoon’s office, as the elder had asked him at dinner if he could head to his office the next morning.
He heard whispers, and it gave him so much anxiety. Because he knew people were probably going to think he used Namjoon, the same way he feared would happen with Taehyung at the start of their relationship. He went up to the 20th floor where Namjoon's office was located,
doing his best to not show that he was anxious. He thanked everyone that congratulated him along the way. Namjoon's secretary, Yeeun, smiled at him and stood up to congratulate him. “Congratulations Jungkook-ssi, now that I see it, you two make a really great couple.”
For some reason it made Jungkook blush, he smiled at her just as she let him walk into the COO’s office. Namjoon looked up as the door opened, smiling when he saw it was Jungkook. “My darling fiancé, how are you this morning?” He chuckled, causing Jungkook to roll his eyes
playfully. “Anxious my dear fiancé, everyone kept staring at me. It was horrible.” Jungkook sat on the empty couch, as Namjoon continued on with his work. “You're a model, shouldn't you be used to the attention?” Namjoon asked, genuinely curious. Jungkook shrugged,
“Doesn't mean I don't get anxious, especially like today.” Namjoon nodded in understanding. He stood up and made his way over to sit next to the model, “So what did you need to talk to me about?” Namjoon smiled at the younger male before he took his hand in his,
“I know this is just as hard for you as it is for me. I didn't want this either, Jungkook-ah. But I like to please the people I care for, in this case my parents.” Jungkook nodded, listening attentively. “My parents, they're old school. They think they can dictate our lives
100% and choose our future for us. It's why I’m the COO and my hyung is the CFO.” “I wanted to go into the medical field, find cures and help people. My parents thought it was a great idea but they said they had something else planned for me.” Jungkook frowned,
giving Namjoon’s hand a squeeze. “My hyung, he wanted to be a chef. Open his own restaurant and live out his life doing something he loved. Of course, that also wasn't in our parents plans for him. The only one that got to do what he wanted was Taehyung. Taehyung always told
our grandfather he wanted to be a CEO like him. And that he is.” Namjoon smiled fondly, turning to look at Jungkook. “My hyung and I can't have the life we would've wanted, but that doesn't mean Taehyung can't. He deserves to live out his life as he wants, and he wants you.
I could tell in his eyes.” Jungkook looked down, not being able to hold Namjoon’s gaze. “In a way, you and I are being forced to do this. We don't have to continue with it if you don't want to.” Jungkook let out a small breath before looking at Namjoon.
“My sister will be next, I can't have them do this to her. It's me or her and I’d rather it be me.” Namjoon nodded slowly, looking down at their joined hands. “Then, I promise to make this as painless as possible.” “What do you mean?” “Jungkook-ah, before you said yes to me
last night, you looked at my brother. And you started crying. You love him still. No matter what may have happened you still love him, and being married to me, his brother, is going to hurt.” Namjoon spoke quietly and gently. “We’ll be okay, I know it.” Jungkook mumbled,
earning a small smile from the businessman. “Hyung? I can call you that right?” Namjoon nodded. “Hyung do you have someone?” Namjoon was caught off guard by the question, he blushed slightly though. Jungkook did not miss it.
“I don't have anyone but I do like someone. They just don't know it.” Jungkook smiled at him, looking at him interest. “They're pretty great." “This is going to be just as painful for you as it is for me. But we’ll be okay.” Jungkook whispered,
Namjoon nodded once again and took a deep breath. “We will.” There was a knock on the door, Namjoon frowned as he was not expecting anyone. Before he could even ask who it was, the door opened. Jungkook’s eyes widened and quickly looked away.
Seokjin and Taehyung both walked in, faces unreadable. Namjoon looked at his brothers then at Jungkook, whose hands began to shake in Namjoon’s. “What's going on?” Namjoon asked, the eldest closed the door. Taehyung’s eyes were on Jungkook, who kept his gaze down.
“We need to talk.” Seokjin spoke up, his hands in his pockets. Namjoon nodded and turned to look at Jungkook. “I'll pick you up for lunch, okay?” Jungkook nodded and both stood up. Namjoon glanced at his brothers before placing a kiss on Jungkook's temple.
Taehyung quickly looked away, Jungkook smiled up at Namjoon. “Sure, hyung. I'll be with Jimin-ssi in the meantime.” Jungkook mumbled, and he noticed the way Namjoon's eyes brightened at the mention of the other model.
Jungkook giggled softly before he turned to walk away. “Excuse me.” He mumbled as he walked toward the door, having to pass by next to Taehyung. He expected the elder to stop him, or do anything really, but when he didn't Jungkook quickly left Namjoon’s office.
Namjoon turned to look at his brothers, they both moved to sit on the empty chairs so the middle brother sat in his chair by his desk. “What's going on?” Namjoon looked between the two before Seokjin spoke up.
“You have contacts out of the country. Contacts no one can ever trace, correct?” Namjoon frowned at his hyung before slowly nodding. “I'm going to need you to get in contact with them.” “Now why on earth am I going to do that?” Namjoon didn't understand what was going on,
especially with Seokjin being vague. “I need you to get them to help Seulgi and I flee the country.” Namjoon's eyes widened as he stared at his brother. “What? Flee the country?” Seokjin nodded, glancing over at Taehyung who had been quiet the entire conversation.
“I can't take it anymore, I want out. Of this family, I witnessed you propose to our brother’s love and it made me realize how fucked up our family is.” Seokjin explained, Namjoon was so confused. “As the Jeon’s were leaving I noticed the daughter give Taehyung a signal.
And I had to ask him what it was about. I have never seen either one of you break down and cry the way Taehyung did last night.” Taehyung looked over at his hyung before turning to Namjoon. “Just because my marriage worked out doesn't mean yours will.
This marriage is doomed from the start, because your brother is in love with your fiancé. And your fiancé’s heart is longing for your brother.” Seokjin added, Namjoon stared at his brother in disbelief. “What are you saying?” Namjoon turned to Taehyung who leaned over with his
eyes on the COO. “We're saying we're going to end this fucking engagement but to do that, we need to get rid of his parents.” “They're politicians, hyung. There's no way they're squeaky clean. In order to get Jungkook out of this engagement and back to me is by getting rid of
his parents.” Taehyung continued, his voice low. “And why does hyung need to flee the country?” Namjoon mumbled, his eyes on his older brother. “Because I’m the one that's going to get as much dirt on them as I can. And I love my wife too much to risk her life here.
Not to mention my unborn child.” Seokjin answered, making Namjoon nod. “What do you need me to do then?” Namjoon asked, glancing over at Taehyung. “When the time is right, I need you to get me out of the country. And in the meantime you need to continue with your engagement
to Jungkook. He can't know.” Seokjin explained, making Taehyung give a single nod. “I will expose them, you will get me out of the country, and Taehyung will take Jungkook and his sister away.” Namjoon’s eyes widened as he looked at his younger brother.
“He won't leave her, I need to get her away from her parents too.” Taehyung explained, causing Namjoon to let out a small sigh. “Anyone else going to help?” “Somi. She's going to get Seokjin access to her parents' files. She's also going to ask Jungkook’s best friends to help
out. So if we need extra help, we can ask them.” Taehyung said, leaning back on his chair. Namjoon let out a dry chuckle, making his brothers frown. “What?” “Why so extreme? Why can't you just fucking tell Jungkook you love him? Make things right between you? Don't you think
his parents and our parents won't be delighted to find out he's with the CEO. Someone higher up than me?” Namjoon shook his head, turning around on his chair. Seokjin glanced over at Taehyung who continued staring at the back of Namjoon’s chair. “Because he would never believe
me if I told him what I heard. He’ll hate me for keeping it from him, he will hate me for treating him so wrongly in our relationship because of his parents.” “Fucking communication, use it.” Namjoon said, standing up and turning to his brothers. “I'll get in contact with the
people that can get you out of here. But as soon as they tell me they’ll help, don't expect me to help you in anything else.” Seokjin stared at his brother, confused at his change in demeanor. “Talk to Jungkook and fix this huge misunderstanding or leave me alone.”
Namjoon walked toward the door and left his own office. The two brothers looked at each other before they also walked out of the office, confused at what had happened. The two made their way to their respective offices, Taehyung sighed as he walked into his.
He thought having his Seokjin hyung talk to Namjoon would work but it didn't. And it confused him because Namjoon has always been one to help people, so why not now?
“Are you alright, hyung?” Jungkook asked, looking over at the elder who seemed to be spacing out. “Ah yeah, I’m sorry.” Namjoon smiled at him and took a sip of his drink, “By the way, I invited Jimin-ssi. I hope that's okay?” Namjoon nearly choked on his drink, making
Jungkook’s eyes widen. “Hyung?! Are you okay?!” Namjoon nodded, coughing non stop as he tried to calm down. “Oh my gosh, are you alright?” Namjoon and Jungkook both looked up to see Jimin standing next to their table, staring at the elder in shock.
Namjoon cleared his throat and smiled at the two, “Yeah, I’m okay. Hi Jimin-ssi.” “Hi, hyung. I hope it's alright that I join you two? Jungkook said it would be but I don't want to impose.” Jungkook glanced over at Namjoon who immediately shook his head no.
“Not a bother at all, take a seat.” Jungkook did his best to suppress his smile as he noticed how blushy the two got. Jimin sat down next to Jungkook, making the younger model smile. “Actually I need to go to the restroom, you two can go ahead and order. I’ll be right back.”
Jungkook excused himself and walked off, leaving two very nervous males behind. They exchanged shy smiles, but didn't speak. Namjoon was getting anxious at how much Jungkook was taking to return, until his phone buzzed in his pocket.
He glanced over at Jimin who seemed to be distracted by his own phone. He pulled it out to see a text message from the model.
Namjoon blushed as he set his phone down, looking over at Jimin who was now looking at him. “Jungkook had to leave. He said his sister had an emergency, it's just you and I now. But you're totally welcome to go if you're uncomfortable.”
Jimin smiled at Namjoon, shaking his head. “I'm fine with having lunch with you, hyung. Don't worry.” Namjoon smiled, both looking away nervously and shyly. Jungkook looked at the two from a distance before giggling to himself and walking away.
Jungkook walked down the sidewalk, making sure to keep his face hiding. He decided to call it a day and head home. Wanting to rest after the events he recently had to deal with. However, fate is not on his side. As he approached his apartment he noticed his door was opened.
tw// mild violence & home invasion He frowned and slowly walked toward it. He looked around but no one seemed to be around, and he was confused as to why his alarm system didn't notify him of the door being opened.
Jungkook slowly pushed the door open and walked inside, he looked around before he walked down the entryway. “Hello?” He called out softly, it was when he walked into his living room when he noticed how trashed his apartment was.
He let out a soft gasp, looking around and taking in everything. Most of his things were broken and thrown around. He then heard a crash come from his bedroom. Jungkook is not one to just sit back and let things happen so he immediately ran to his bedroom.
He ran in and saw a man, with a mask of course, looking through his drawers. “What the fuck are you doing?!” Jungkook yelled out, making the man look at him in shock. Clearly not expecting Jungkook to be home at that hour. The younger was angry, his home was a mess,
and there was someone clearly trying to cause him harm standing in front of him. So he did the most logical thing he could think of, he charged at the intruder. He tackled him into the ground, he was able to give him a few punches. The intruder struggled underneath the model.
“Who are you?! What are you doing in my home!?” The model did not get an answer, instead he fell to the ground when he was hit in the back of the head by a bottle. The intruder quickly got up, looking up at the other person in the room, another man wearing a mask.
“Let him be, I've got what I needed. Let's go.” The two ran out leaving an unconscious Jungkook behind. They rushed out of the apartment, bumping into Hoseok and Yoongi. “Hey, watch it.” Yoongi said, annoyed as the two men ran off.
The two best friends walked closer to the apartment noticing it was opened. “Oh fuck.” Hoseok said before he turned back around and ran after the two men to try to catch them, while Yoongi ran into Jungkook’s apartment. “Jungkook?!” Yoongi yelled as he walked into the
trashed apartment, he looked around quickly before he ran to the bedroom. “Jungkook! Oh my god.” He ran toward the younger upon seeing him on the floor. “Jungkook! Wake up, please!” Yoongi picked him up and placed him on his lap. Then tried to wake him up, but he was out cold.
“Fuck!” He pulled his phone out to quickly call an ambulance. Hoseok ran out of the building, looking around but there was no sight of the two men. He sighed out in frustration before he ran back inside, needing to get Jungkook’s apartment.
“Yoongi?!” “Hoba! Over here!” Hoseok rushed into the room, seeing Jungkook unconscious on Yoongi’s lap. “Oh my god, hyung..” Yoongi looked up at the other, tears in his eyes as he held onto Jungkook. “I called an ambulance, who the fuck did this to him?”
“I don't know, I wasn't able to catch them. They got away, hyung. Oh fuck, hyung, he’s bleeding.” Yoongi turned to look down at Jungkook. The elder was quick to remove his sweater and place it on Jungkook’s head, in hopes of stopping the bleeding.
The two had tears in their eyes as they looked down at their best friend. It was ten minutes later when the paramedics arrived, Hoseok leading them to Jungkook. “I'll go with him, you need to inform his parents.” Yoongi said as they rushed out of the building.
“Yes, I’ll meet you there.” Hoseok said as he watched the paramedics place Jungkook into the ambulance. “Hyung don't leave him.” Yoongi saw Hoseok start to cry, and shook his head. “He’s going to be okay, Hoba. He will be.”
Yoongi and Hoseok were seated in the waiting room, Jungkook being checked out by the doctors. Hoseok had let Jungkook’s parents know and they said they were in Busan but would make their way back. “I'm sure he's okay, and it's nothing serious.” Hoseok mumbled,
Yoongi glanced over at him. “I hope so.” They heard someone speaking, “Jeon Jungkook, how is he? Where is he?” The two looked up to see a very worried Taehyung speaking to a nurse. “He's still being checked out.” Yoongi spoke up, Taehyung looked over and made his way over.
"Is he okay? What happened?” They could see just how worried the CEO looked, but they weren't sure why he was there to begin with. “Why are you here?” Hoseok found himself asking, making Taehyung let out a small breath. “I found out from the news, I needed to see he was okay.”
“Why?” “What do you mean why?” Taehyung asked, a frown on his face. “I love him.” Hoseok chuckled, looking away. “Right.” Taehyung was about to speak up when he heard footsteps rushing toward them. He turned around and saw his brothers and Somi making their way over.
“How's Jungkook? Is he okay?” Namjoon asked, looking between Taehyung and the two males. Hoseok sighed and shrugged his shoulders, “We don't know. They haven't told us anything.” “We're hoping he is” Yoongi added. Somi teared up and the eldest of the two best friends stood up.
“Come on, sweetheart. Let's get you some coffee or water.” He said softly, wrapping an arm around Somi’s shoulders and leading her away. Taehyung ran a hand through his hair, he began to pace back and forth while his brothers watched. Hoseok’s gaze was focused on the floor,
not wanting to look at the CEO. “Family of Jeon Jungkook?” They all turned around and Taehyung rushed over to the doctor that had approached them. “How is he? Is he okay?” Taehyung asked in a rush, making the doctor look at him with wide eyes.
“Are you his family?” He asked, Hoseok stood up and walked over to answer. “He is not. I'm his best friend and the man over there,” Hoseok turned to point at Namjoon, “Is his fiancé.” Taehyung stared at Hoseok as the elder turned back around to look back at him,
almost challenging him. The doctor nodded and waved Namjoon over, who hesitantly did. Taehyung looked over at his brother who gave him an apologetic look. “Well, thankfully Mr.Jeon is doing well.” The doctor began, and Taehyung hated how he was speaking more toward Namjoon than
anyone else. “Brain activity is normal, he didn't need any stitches, he was simply knocked unconscious. He didn't suffer a concussion either, which is good. He's resting now, but he's ready to be discharged later tonight after further tests are done.”
The doctor explained, Namjoon nodded. “Thank you so much, doctor.” The doctor patted Namjoon’s shoulder, “Your fiancé is okay, he's looking for you. Told me to tell his boyfriend to go see him if he was here, so go on.”
Namjoon looked over at Taehyung who was pissed, anyone could tell. Hoseok thanked the doctor once again before he walked off. Hoseok turned to Namjoon, looking at him expectantly. “Are you going to go? Or can Yoongi hyung and I go first?” Namjoon shook his head,
“You two go ahead, take his sister with you.” Hoseok nodded and began to walk away, pulling his phone out to call Yoongi to tell him and Somi to return. Taehyung stood there, running his hand through his hair. “Taehyung.” He looked over and saw his eldest brother looking at
him in worry. “He’s okay.” The CEO sighed and walked over to sit in one of the chairs, his brothers sitting on each side of him. “Who did this? Who broke into his home?” Taehyung mumbled as he stared at the floor.
“We're looking into it.” Namjoon responded, Taehyung sighed and shook his head. “There is nothing in Jungkook’s home that could possibly be used for anyone else’s gain.” Taehyung sighed and kept his head low, wanting more than anything to see Jungkook but he knew the younger
male probably didn’t want that. In Jungkook’s hospital room, Somi laid next to her brother, hugging him tightly. Hoseok and Yoongi were seated in the empty visitor chairs as they looked at the siblings. “Who do you think would break into your house?”
Jungkook looked at his sister, noticing how puffy and red her eyes were. “I don’t know, hyung. Before I fully became unconscious I heard one say they had what they needed. But obviously I wasn’t able to see anything or go check.”
Yoongi frowned and turned to Hoseok, “Didn’t they have a yellow envelope with them?” Hoseok furrowed his eyebrows trying to remember, “I believe so, but what could it possibly be?” Jungkook wasn’t paying much attention to them as he was trying to keep his sister calm,
she sniffled softly before looking up at him. “I’m okay, don’t worry.” She nodded and hid her face against his neck, not letting go of her brother. “I was so scared, I don’t want to lose you.” The model chuckled and gave his sister a gentle squeeze,
“You’re not going to lose me, silly. I promise.” He hugged her closer, and looked over at his friends that were now looking at him. “By the way, the Kim siblings are all here.” Jungkook tensed up, his sister noticing as she pulled away to look at him in worry.
“What are they doing here?” Jungkook sighed, looking back at Somi, brushing her hair back away from her face. “Well, your apartment complex is well known so when the ambulance arrived there were reporters quickly arriving too. The news of what happened was posted online.”
Hoseok explained, it made Jungkook shake his head disapprovingly. “Can’t even get mugged without the whole world knowing.” “You didn't get mugged.” Yoongi chuckled, making Jungkook smile. “But yeah, they saw the post and made their way here.”
Jungkook hummed, looking from his sister to his hyungs. “I only want to see Namjoon hyung.” The two nodded and stood up to walk out of the room, “Come on Somi.” Yoongi said softly, turning to the young girl. She huffed and hugged her brother closer.
“I’m not leaving.” She mumbled, making the three smile warmly. “Fine, we’ll be back later.” Hoseok and Yoongi walked back to the waiting area, seeing the three Kim brothers sitting and patiently waiting. Taehyung however did seem very distressed.
They shared a glance before approaching them, “Jungkook is up.” Taehyung snapped his head up and looked at the two with wide eyes. He opened his mouth to speak, but Yoongi cut him off before he could. “He only wants to see Namjoon.”
Taehyung visibly deflated and slowly turned to look at his brother. Namjoon was staring at the two friends with a shocked expression, he then turned to his brother who was looking at him with sadness. He cleared his throat and stood up.
“Yeah, okay. What room is he in?” He asked, wiping his hands on the side of his pants. “Room 901.” He nodded and glanced over at his brothers once more before he walked off. Taehyung’s gaze fell to the floor, biting down at his bottom lip. What did he expect?
Of course Jungkook wouldn't want to see him. Seokjin kept his eyes on the two friends who were intensely staring at Taehyung. He spared a glance at his brother and then back at them. “Is there anything else you'd like to say?” He asked, making all three males turn to look at
him. Taehyung followed his gaze and looked up at the two males. “No. Just wondering why you're all here when the only one that should be here is Namjoon. Especially with the way you treated him.” Yoongi spoke up, his eyes on Taehyung. Taehyung was going to respond, but Seokjin
spoke for him. “Because he's our brother’s fiancé. And will be a part of our family. What other reason should there be? And about their relationship, it shouldn't concern you. It was theirs not yours.” This made Hoseok frown and clench his fists, Yoongi sensed it and quickly
placed his hand over his fist without even looking at him. “It is when our best friend suffered for so long because of your brother. He shouldn't be here.” Taehyung teared up and looked down at the floor, “You have no business being here, you've done enough damage. Let him go.
He's going to be with your brother now, and frankly, he seems more at peace with him than he ever did with you.” Hoseok added, they didn't even wait for a reply and walked away. Seokjin turned to his brother whose shoulders were shaking, indicating he was crying.
“Oh Taehyung..” He reached over and hugged his brother rightly as the younger male cried against his shoulder. “It's going to be okay, don't worry.” Seokjin mumbled and he held onto his little brother. “Please don't cry.”
Namjoon exited the hospital room about half an hour later, Taehyung looked over at him lazily. His brother smiled at him lightly before he reached them, “Let’s go home?” Taehyung shook his head, refusing to leave, he couldn’t leave Jungkook there.
Namjoon sighed and looked over at Seokjin who shrugged his shoulders. “Listen, Jungkook asked me to tell you that he doesn’t want to see you and that you need to leave. You need to respect his wishes.” Namjoon mumbled, Seokjin’s eyes moved to Taehyung who looked up at Namjoon.
“As his ex, I’ll respect his wishes, as his boss, I will not.” He stood up and began walking toward the room. Namjoon was going to stop him but Seokjin held him back, his hand gently placed on his brother’s shoulder. “He’s in love, Namjoon-ah, let him be. Maybe hearing it from
Jungkook will knock some sense into him.” Namjoon sighed but nodded nonetheless. Taehyung knocked on the door gently but didn’t even wait for Jungkook to tell him to enter, he opened the door and walked right in. Jungkook looked over at him with wide eyes.
Taehyung made his way over to the hospital bed and noticed Somi had fallen asleep next to her brother. “I told Namjoon hyung to tell you I didn’t want to see you.” Jungkook mumbled out weakly. “I’m not here as Taehyung, Jungkook-ssi. I’m here as CEO Kim, you know, your boss.”
The way Taehyung spoke gave Jungkook chills. He slowly nodded as he watched the man take in his state. “What is it that you need, sir?” Jungkook asked, avoiding Taehyung’s gaze. “I’m sure you’re aware that you are one of the most valuable models in the agency.
This incident should not be taken lightly. Therefore, since I make sure to ensure the safety of all my idols, models and actors, I will be assigning 24 hour protection for you.” Jungkook’s eyes grew even wider as he stared at Taehyung in disbelief.
“The safety of those who work with our agency is a number one priority. So, as the CEO it is my decision to have you be accompanied by a body guard at all times.” Jungkook shook his head, as if Taehyung was crazy. “No, I refuse. You can’t do that, I don’t need protection.
I can protect myself just fine.” Taehyung hummed, his hands in his pockets. “That explains why you’re in a hospital bed, correct?” Jungkook glared at him, he wanted to yell at him but Somi was peacefully sleeping next to him. “This is not up for discussion, Mr.Jeon.
I’ve made the decision.” “This is bullshit.” Taehyung chuckled softly, “Well if you remember correctly, Jungkook-ssi. You agreed to it when you signed your contract.” Jungkook stared at him speechless. “Have a great rest of your day, Jungkook-ssi.”
Taehyung turned and walked toward the door but was stopped by Jungkook. “Where was this energy when we were together? You didn’t mind leaving me alone for hours on end hell even days, but now that I’ve dumped you it's a problem?” Taehyung turned to look at him, eyebrows furrowed
“I want to remind you that I signed a five year contract. I am not sure if you remember this but that contract ends in three months. Just before my wedding, I am informing you that I will not be renewing said contract.”
Taehyung was speechless, he stared at Jungkook, who looked rather calm. “You may leave now, CEO Kim. Thank you for coming to check up on me. I appreciate your efforts to keep me safe.” Jungkook looked away, and Taehyung knew the conversation was over.
He walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. “Fuck, what did I just do?”

#taekookau - it's a pleasure meeting you. ceo taehyung meets the love of his life. or rather the model who wants to sign with his agency, whose name is jungkook.
Jungkook gets released from the hospital later that night, his hyungs and Somi being there to take him home. As they walked down the hallway toward the exit, Jungkook spots Kim Seokjin. He looks over at his hyungs, who shrug in response. Seokjin turns to them once they're near,
he gives Jungkook a small smile. “Hello Jungkook-ssi. I hope you are doing well” Jungkook gave a small “thank you” “I'm here because my brother entrusted me to introduce you to your protection detail.” Jungkook frowns and looks around thinking he'd see Taehyung but he doesn't.
Seokjin calls over a few men that were standing a few feet away. “Jungkook-ssi, these men will be with you at all times. Meet Cha Eunwoo, Kim Mingyu and Kim Yugyeom.” Jungkook stared up at them then turned to Seokjin, “They look my age. And no offense but I think I might be
stronger than either one.” This made the three bodyguards chuckle. Seokjin cleared his throat and they immediately became quiet and straightened up. “These men are some of the best in the city. Only the best to ensure your safety.”
“Yeah, yeah. Can I go home now?” Jungkook asked, looking up at Seokjin from his wheelchair. “About that, the breaking and entering is still under investigation and you cannot go to your home until the investigation is over.” “Oh you've got to be fucking kidding me.”
Jungkook turned to look at his hyungs who gave him an apologetic smile. “Fine, I’ll stay with my hyungs.” Jungkook began to stand up, no longer needing the wheelchair. “Let's go.” He was once again stopped by Seokjin, “As per orders of the CEO, you will be staying someplace
else, as the intruders saw your hyungs faces. They will also be under protection in the meantime. Hence the three bodyguards.” Jungkook chuckled humorlessly, “And where do you suppose we stay then?” Seokjin took one last look at Jungkook before turning to nod at the bodyguards.
- “Absolutely not. I refuse to stay here.” Jungkook was sitting in the backseat with his arms crossed. “I'm not going to live with him.” Somi giggled next to him, not believing her brother’s reaction. Mingyu, he guessed, looked back at him and sighed, “Sir, we were instructed
to drop you off here, and it is where we will all be staying as well.” “First off, you look my age don't call me sir. Second, why here? I could have afforded a hotel for some time” Jungkook rolled his eyes and looked away. “We’re just doing what was asked of us, Jungkook-ssi”
He looked over, it was Yugyeom. Jungkook sighed and opened the door to get out. The three bodyguards got out along with him and Somi, his hyungs had taken Hoseok’s car instead to try to get some of Jungkook’s clothes and belongings, as well as their own.
They escorted them up to the luxury apartment, he felt silly being surrounded by three bodyguards. Once they arrived at the apartment, Eunwoo allowed them to walk in first. “He's not here, is he?” He asked, turning to look at the three. The three shook their heads no.
“He will not be staying here tonight, said something about not wanting to make you uncomfortable.” Jungkook snorted at Eunwoo’s reply. “Fine, where are we sleeping?” Jungkook asked, he knew that apartment like the back of his hand. Nothing had changed,
everything looked exactly like the last time he had been there. “Mr. Kim asked us to let you know your friends will be staying in the guest rooms to the right of the hallway. Your sister will be staying in the second to last bedroom to the left. You are staying in the last room
to the left.” Mingyu explained. Jungkook didn't register entirely which room until he entered and realized it was the master bedroom. Taehyung’s bedroom. The model groaned but he was too tired to argue, so he walked in anyway. He plopped down on the bed, his sister walking in
seconds later. She laid down next to him, looking at him expectantly. “I heard what happened in the hospital room, when Taehyung-ssi walked in.” She whispered, he sighed and looked up at the ceiling. “Oppa, he loves you, why can't you see it?” She asked, Jungkook kept quiet.
Taehyung hadn't acted like he loved him, he acted like he had authority over Jungkook. She sighed as her brother refused to speak, she sat up and looked at him for a few seconds before she stood up and walked out of the room. Jungkook watched her walk away,
and he wanted to call her back but he let her be. Somi walked out into the living room where the three bodyguards were. She looked around a little before sitting down on the couch. “How old are you three?” “24” They answered in unison, making Somi giggle.
“So you're my oppa’s age, he was right to be annoyed about being called, sir.” “Do my parents know we're here?” She asked, Eunwoo shook his head. “From what we gathered they decided to stay in Busan as Mr.Jeon would be released tonight.
They didn't think the trip was worth doing if he was okay.” Somi’s gaze slowly fell to the floor, “Ah. Is Taehyung-ssi really not staying here tonight?” The three sensed how sad she sounded. “He won't be staying here Miss Jeon.” Yugyeom said, making her look over at him.
“Please call me Somi, Miss Jeon seems a little too formal for me.” Just then there was a knock on the door, the three bodyguards stood up abruptly and made their way toward the door. It was only then Somi noticed they all had guns strapped to their waists.
Her eyes widened and waited for Mingyu to open the door, letting out a sign of relief when she saw it was Hoseok and Yoongi. The two stared at the bodyguards before walking in. “Protective much.” Yoongi mumbled and began walking around, trying to find a place to put all the
things they had brought with them. Somi explained to them where they would be staying while the three others went back to the living room. “Can I talk to you two?” She whispered, looking at them expectantly. The males nodded and she walked down to the bedroom she'd be
staying in, the males following her in. Once inside she closed and locked the door, making both of them frown. “What's going on?” Hoseok asked, Somi walked over and sat between them on the bed. “I need your help. And I won't be taking no for an answer.” She looked between the
two, who hesitantly nodded. “I need help stopping my brother’s wedding to Namjoon.” “What? Are you crazy?” Yoongi asked in a hushed voice. She shook her head quickly, “No, oppa doesn't want it and neither does Taehyung-ssi. You weren't there are the proposal dinner,
they both looked miserable.” “How did you even know about them?” Hoseok asked, glancing over at Yoongi before looking at Somi. “I saw them once, I was with some friends and saw them leave together holding hands. Taehyung-ssi kissed oppa before he got into the car.
Then I heard oppa talking with him on the phone.” Hoseok and Yoongi looked at each other, in slight shock. “Please help me stop the wedding and get them back together.” She asked, her voice soft. The males sighed but what were they going to do? Say no?
“Fine, I’m guessing you have a plan?” Yoongi asked, which caused Somi to smile widely. “Yes! Taehyung-ssi is helping and so are his siblings! But we can't let oppa know.” She said in a rush, Hoseok groaned. “We're going to do this behind Jungkook's back?” Somi nodded and it
made Yoongi chuckle. “Alright, tell us what we need to do.” Somi giggled and began explaining her side of the plan to them. While in the other room, Jungkook was still staring up at the ceiling. The pillow smelled just like Taehyung, and he was trying his hardest not to turn
and press his face into them. He failed however when he felt like crying remembering their conversation earlier. He turned and held the pillow to his face, smelling the scent of vanilla and strawberries, Taehyung’s scent. He cried while holding onto it for dear life.
He had missed it so much, he missed Taehyung. But he knew things weren't the same, especially when he got a glimpse of the engagement ring on his finger. “Oh how I wish it was you I'd be getting married to..”
He sniffled, looking at the ring. “I wish I was too.” He gasped and sat up quickly, his eyes going to the door. Taehyung was standing there looking at him with a sad smile. “What are you doing here?” Jungkook whispered, not sure if Taehyung had heard him.
Taehyung walked in, sitting on the end of the bed. “I live here.” Jungkook rolled his eyes, which made the CEO chuckle quietly. “I wanted to see you, and apologize for how I acted in the hospital.” Jungkook was nibbling on his bottom lip, his eyes focused on the man sitting
two feet from him. “Jungkook, I want to apologize. But I also need to tell you something I should've told you such a long time ago.” “Is it bad?” Taehyung looked down at his lap, eyes teary. “Kind of, it's also probably going to answer a lot of your questions.” “Taehyung?”
He looked up at Jungkook, seeing how vulnerable the model looked. He reached over and hesitantly took his hand. “Gosh, I’m so sorry..”
Before Taehyung could even begin to explain his behavior, the door opened once again and Hoseok and Yoongi walked in. They made sure to glare at Taehyung before walking toward Jungkook. “We're gonna go get something to eat, Somi is going with me, Hoseok will stay here.”
Yoongi said, his eyes trained on Taehyung. The CEO however could tell their glares had meant nothing but he couldn't put his finger on it. “Granted this is your home and we're here against our will, I feel as though you should come too and pay for it.”
“Hyung” Jungkook gasped looking from Yoongi to Taehyung, the younger of the two slowly nodding his head. Jungkook frowned and turned to look at Hoseok who gave him a warm smile, “Let them go, we can stay here and cuddle.”
The youngest male giggled when his hyung moved to lay down next to him, holding him close. Jungkook smiled and hugged his hyung back, allowing Yoongi and Taehyung to leave the room. Once the bedroom door was closed, Yoongi dragged Taehyung away, Somi quickly following behind.
Taehyung called out for two of the body guards to accompany them, and for the other to stay back with Jungkook and Hoseok. They were all seated in the backseat as Eunwoo drove, Mingyu in the passenger seat. “Somi told us your plan.” Yoongi mumbled, making Taehyung look at him
with wide eyes. “How exactly do you plan on pulling it off?” The elder turned to look at Taehyung who was looking a bit nervous. “I'm not sure, I just hope it works.” Yoongi scoffed, “You hope it works? Listen, we're only going to help if you have a solid plan and how to
execute it, we're not going to ruin a wedding based on hope.” Mingyu and Eunwoo shared a glance, Taehyung catching it. “I suggest you two keep your mouths shut because if this gets out, I’ll have your head.” The bodyguards chuckled,
"No offense boss, but based on Jungkook-ssi’s reaction to being at your apartment made us realize you either were together and broke up or are together and had an argument.” Eunwoo explained. “But granted that his engagement to your brother is publicized, we're going with the
former.” Mingyu added. Taehyung rolled his eyes while Somi and Yoongi chuckled. “Right, well shut up.” They entered the restaurant, Yoongi taking the iniciativa to go ahead and order for them all. Taehyung stood next to Somi, who continued staring at him.
“If you have something you need to say, go ahead Somi.” The CEO turned to look at her, and she smiled, shaking her head. “Just realizing why my oppa was so enamored by you. You're handsome.” Taehyung chuckled, flustered as he looked away.
“We need to do this without him knowing, it's why Yoongi and Hoseok oppa walked in there to stop you. Jungkook oppa can't know, or he will try to find a way to stop it.” Somi explained, Taehyung sighed. “If he doesn't know, how will the plan even work?” Somi giggled and waved
him off. “I've got a plan, Taehyung-ssi. Don't you worry.” Taehyung raised an eyebrow at her questionably, “Should I be scared?” “Not at all.” “So we leave the entire planning to you?” Taehyung asked, to which Somi nodded. “Yeah, just show up to their wedding.
Everything will be taken care of by me.” She turned to look at him, and she looked incredibly serious. “Can you handle not being with him for three months?” Taehyung chuckled as he looked away, as Yoongi was making his way back to them. “I lived three months without him,
what's three more?” Yoongi looked between the two before shaking his head. “Just make sure whatever it is you two are planning, no one ends in harm’s way.” - The next morning, Jungkook found himself, along with Taehyung, Namjoon, Seokjin and Somi in a conference room at the
agency. They were waiting for the Kims and Jeons to arrive. Jungkook was sitting in between Namjoon and Somi, while Seokjin sat across from them and Taehyung sat at the head of the table. The meeting was meant to start at 10:00, however it was now 10:35.
Taehyung sighed and looked at the time, “Who do they think they are? I don't have time to waste” Namjoon and Seokjin glanced at each other. The door opened then, the two couples walked in and made their way to the empty seats available. Mr. Kim sat at the other end of the table.
“Nice of you to join us.” Taehyung said through gritted teeth. His father looked at him indifferent. “Shall we get started then?” Taehyung asked, his father gave him a single nod. “What happened to Jungkook should not be take lightly. His life is in danger if someone was able
to not only bypass the security in the lobby but enter his home that has a security system installed.” Taehyung began, Jungkook glanced over at him feeling nervous. “We are not sure what could've happened if Jungkook had been there when they broke in. Let alone had his sister
there. The safety of my models is my utmost priority. It is why I had him and his sister along with his best friends stay at my home last night.” “Why not with Namjoon? Are you not capable of taking care of your own fiance, Namjoon-ah?” Mr. Kim asked, making Namjoon frown.
Taehyung clenched his fists as he looked over at his brother then his father. “It was my decision. Jungkook is a model under my agency. After all, I made the decision as his boss, not his brother-in-law.” The words felt like acid in his mouth. Mr. Kim hummed as he looked at his
youngest son, Taehyung’s stare was intense. “Which brings me back to the home invasion. Speaking to Jungkook’s best friends, one of them said they saw one of the intruders leave with a yellow envelope.” Upon the mention of the envelope both the Jeons tensed up, quickly looking
at each other. Jungkook and Somi noticed this and frowned. “What is it?” Jungkook asked, his parents looking over at him then at Taehyung. “It is nothing.” Mr.Jeon answered. Taehyung looked over at Jungkook, who continued to frown. And if Taehyung knew him well, the model
was frowning as he tried to think of what that envelope could contain. “Well whatever was in that envelope is now in the hands of those who entered Jungkook’s home. If you know what it contains, I suggest you speak up so that we can get this resolved.” Taehyung added, the Jeons
once again glanced at each other before shaking their heads. “We don't know what was in that envelope. How could we? It was in Jungkook’s home.” Mrs.Jeon replied, making Jungkook look over at Taehyung confused. The CEO spared him a glance before he looked over at his parents,
who were staring at the Jeons. As if suspecting them. “Very well. While the investigation is ongoing, Jungkook will be staying in my home. Somi is also welcomed.” Taehyung stood up, fixing his jacket. “Oh no dear, Somi lives with us, she will be okay.” Mrs.Jeon added, making
the 20 year old pout. “Understood. This meeting is adjourned.” Taehyung said as he cleared his throat. “Hold on, while we're all here, I thought we could discuss the wedding plans.” Mrs.Jeon spoke up, causing everyone to turn to Jungkook and Namjoon. “Would that be okay?”
Jungkook sighed and nodded his head, sinking into his seat. “Great! I was thinking the wedding could take place in Busan. It is where Jungkook was born after all, it would be amazing if it took place there.” “I thought we had decided it would be here in Seoul, why the sudden
change?” Mrs. Kim asked, crossing her arms over her chest. Taehyung slowly sat back down as he looked between the women. “I simply think that it would be much prettier if it took place in Busan. Besides, it's not going to be a large wedding, it would only be with close friends
and family. Is it not?” Mrs.Jeon asked. “The venue has already been booked and paid for by my husband and I, it is non refundable. The wedding will take place in Busan.” Mrs. Kim said firmly, causing Mrs.Jeon to falter. “That's understandable. Then Namjoon and Jungkook should
begin to get fitted for their suits, as well as whoever they decide as their best men. We want to be sure their suits fit perfectly.” Mrs. Kim hummed, nodding her head. “That I can agree with, however did we not decide I would be the one planning the entire wedding as you
mentioned you had many other things you needed to do?” Jungkook frowned and looked over at his mother, “Eomma?” Mrs.Jeon giggled and waved her off, “Yes but you can still ask me for my help if it's necessary.” Mrs. Kim looked over at her husband then at her children,
“No thank you. I think I can do this on my own. I did plan my Jinnie’s wedding on my own after all.” Mrs.Jeon giggled, nervously if you asked Jungkook. “Okay. That's fine.” “Is this meeting over?” Taehyung asked, to which the couples nodded. They all stood up and began to
make their way out of the conference room. “Son, can I speak to you in your office?” Mrs. Kim asked, looking over at Taehyung. “Of course, eomma.” Jungkook locked eyes with Taehyung before he was dragged out by his mother along with Somi. Seokjin and Namjoon both bid their
goodbyes before making their exit. The Kims walked out of the conference room and the three walked to Taehyung’s office. Mr. Kim locked the door and it made Taehyung frown. He took a seat in his chair, his mother sitting across from him and his father standing
behind her. “Is everything okay?” He asked, looking between the two. “The Jeons are frauds.” His mother said, making Taehyung’s eyes widen. “What are you saying?” His father looked at his son apologetically. “We're the ones who sent those intruders to Jungkook’s home.
tw// mentions of hüman träfficking “Are you fucking crazy?!” Taehyung yelled, standing from his seat. “Why would you do that?! Jungkook was injured because of that!” His reaction did not faze his parents. He glared at them before his father continued. “Jungkook was not meant
to be harmed, they were specially asked not to do harm to him.” “Why did you even send them there?!” “Taehyung, we know of your relationship with Jungkook.” Mrs. Kim spoke up, making Taehyung’s blood run cold. He stared at his mother who simply nodded at him.
“We knew all along, and we were supportive of it. In silence of course. We were waiting until you decided to tell us, that is until we got word you two had broken up.” Taehyung sank onto his seat, staring at his desk in disbelief. “If you knew.. why arrange a marriage with
Namjoon hyung?” Taehyung asked, his voice quiet. “We knew neither you or Jungkook would accept it if you knew it was an arranged marriage to each other.” His mother said, Taehyung teared up because they were right. If he was ever going to marry Jungkook he wanted it to be on
their terms. “This arranged marriage is a distraction.” Taehyung looked over at his parents, “Your father has been suspicious of the Jeons for some time now, and this was the only way we could get close to them.” “We never wanted to use your relationship with Jungkook for
business. That's why we took this route.” His father added, “We need only enough time to find everything that we need on them then the wedding is off.” “I’m so confused.” Taehyung cried out, covering his face with his hands. “We know, and we're sorry. We just need to fool
them long enough to obtain what we need. Every and all evidence that shows they've been committing fraud all these years.” His father explained. Taehyung looked at his parents, “What was in that envelope?” His parents let out a soft sigh before his father spoke up,
“Jungkook and Somi are siblings, but they are not the Jeons children.” “What?” “The envelope contained two contracts, one for each child, and receipts and copies of checks made to whoever gave them the siblings.” His mother spoke slowly, making Taehyung’s breathing quicken.
“They were bought?” “It seems like it. And Jungkook and Somi may not be the only children they've sold or bought.” Taehyung felt sick, he shook his head in anger. “You're saying they are running a human trafficking ring?” Taehyung asked, his voice breaking in the end.
“It looks like it. No one has known of it due to their background and position in politics. They hid it very well.” His father explained, Taehyung yelled out in anger. His mother stood up and quickly rushed to her son, cupping his face gently. “Breathe, Taehyungie, breathe.”
He cried in anger and heartbreak, how could they do something like that to them and who knows how many kids? “We're going to stop them, okay? But we need your help. Can you do that?” Taehyung nodded quickly, his mother hugging him tightly.
“We're going to end them, and then, if you wish, you can take Jungkook far away from here.” His father mumbled, Taehyung looked over at him. “I plan to.”

Jungkook was at a photoshoot but his mind was elsewhere, he was thinking about what he could have had in his home that was in a yellow envelope. “You’re going to get wrinkles if you keep frowning like that” Jungkook turned to see Jimin sitting next to him, looking at him in
amusement. “Are you okay? Heard what happened.” “I’m okay, hyung. Just wondering what could I possibly have in my house that some intruders would want to steal.” He mumbled, shaking his head. “It must have been of big importance, you really don’t remember?” Jimin looked at the
younger in concern, who shook his head again in response. “I don’t remember because all my important files and such are not in paper form, they’re in an USB I keep inside a safe. Which is why I’m wondering what was so important about that envelope?”
“Did you check where the envelope was?” Jungkook turned to look at the other mode, shaking his head. “I’m not allowed at my apartment until the investigation is over.” “Where are you staying then?” Jimin asked as their stylists walked in to finish up with their looks.
“Taehyung’s, he insisted.” Jimin looked at him in surprise, as he didn’t know about the information. He hadn’t talked to Taerhyung in a few days. “And you’re okay with that?” He spoke softly, cautious even. Jungkook shrugged and looked up to allow the makeup artist to do his
makeup. “I didn’t have much of a choice, really.” Jimin nodded slowly, his manager approached him and handed him a note folded in half. “This was left in your bag, I wanted you to have it.” Jimin thanked him, glanced over to Jungkook who seemed to no longer be paying
attention to him and opened the note. “If you say anything, you’ll pay.” The model let out a shaky breath as he read over the note, he folded it back up and put it in his pocket. He looked away so no one would notice his sudden change and tried to compose himself.
Jungkook looked over at his hyung before he was asked by his makeup artist to turn back to her. He sighed and allowed her to continue, Jimin stood up and quickly left the room. Jungkook let it go, he’d ask him some other time if he was okay.
Jungkook and Jimin were sitting across from each other. Jimin frowned at the amount of bodyguards accompanying Jungkook. “Were they Taehyung’s idea as well?” He asked, Jungkook turned to look at the bodyguards a few feet away. He giggled and turned back to his hyung.
“Yeah, I think it's dumb. I can protect myself but he said as CEO and my boss it was his call.” Jimin hummed and stared at the bodyguards a little more before turning to the other model. “Jungkook, can I ask you something?” “Anything.” “Do you trust your parents?”
The question caught the younger off guard, looking at the male with wide eyes. “What do you mean?” Jimin gave him a small smile and shook his head, “It's nothing, ignore me. How are the wedding plans coming along?” Jungkook frowned before he cleared his throat, “Okay I guess,
Mrs. Kim is in charge of everything. I think all I have to do is show up that day.” “And you want to? Show up, I mean.” The younger model shrugged, “Namjoon hyung is a great man, you would know.” He said a small smirk on his lips as he looked at Jimin, who blushed.
“But I feel like with it being forced it's not going to succeed.” “And I know I agreed because I was cowardly running away from the love I have for Taehyung, but I was hurt and it felt like my only escape from the pain. But of course, my fiancé is my ex's brother.”
Jungkook sighed as the waiter placed their plates on the table. “Would you run away if you could? With Taehyung?” Jungkook didn't hesitate that time. “Yes.” Jimin slowly nodded and began to eat, Jungkook doing the same. The rest of their lunch was pleasant,
their conversations weren't serious anymore, they were light and silly. Jungkook felt at ease with Jimin, their frenemy thing aside, he enjoyed the elder’s company.
tw// talk of hüman träfficking Jungkook needed to head home and be with his sister as she wasn't feeling well, and Jimin needed to return to the agency. So they parted ways right after lunch. Jimin quickly made his way to the top floor, the secretary greeted him as Jimin
walked straight to the office. Taehyung looked up from the monitor, Jimin closed the door behind himself and locked it. There were tears in his eyes, this worried Taehyung. The CEO stood up and rushed over to his best friend, “Jimin what's wrong?”
He asked, cupping his face gently. Jimin let the tears spill as he gripped Taehyung’s wrists. “There's something I need to tell you, and I’m sorry for not telling you sooner.” Taehyung guided them to the couch, allowing Jimin to calm down no matter how long it took.
He patiently waited for his best friend’s tears to stop. “Are you ready to talk to me?” Taehyung whispered, to which Jimin nodded. “The Jeons have a human trafficking ring.” Jimin mumbled, looking at his best friend who did not look surprised at all. And it surprised Jimin.
“You know..” Taehyung nodded, “Found out this morning. My parents informed me. They also informed me Jungkook and Somi were bought from there.” Jimin let out a shaky breath, gripping Taehyung’s hand. “They weren't the only ones.” “I figured as much, it's so sick.”
“No, they weren't the only ones. Meaning I was too.” Taehyung’s eyes widened as he stared at his teary eyed best friend. “Jungkook, Somi and I are half-siblings. We have the same mother, different father.” “Jimin?” “I was sold to the Jeons at the age of three, Jungkook was
only a year old. Then the Jeons sold me to a friend of theirs, and it went on and on. I finally ended up with a couple at the age of 7, they kept me until they tragically died in a car accident when I was 16.” Jimin explained, Taehyung was in shock.
“The Jeons helped make sure I wasn't taken to foster care, it's why I've been on my own since. I was your best friend already, and I was scared you'd leave me if you knew the truth.” Taehyung squeezed Jimin’s hand gently, the model sniffling softly.
“I found out through them that they had bought Jungkook and Somi together when Jungkook was four and Somi was a newborn. He was still too young to understand the extent of things, and he also didn't go from people to people like I did.” Taehyung teared up, not being able to
imagine the pain Jimin went through and the fact Jungkook and Somi didn't know. “In a way, I was happy my siblings didn't have to go through what I did, but it also scared me because of who they ended up with.” Taehyung nodded and Jimin looked at him so heartbroken.
“Today the Jeons threatened me and I needed someone to know. It's why I’m begging you Taehyung, I need protection. So do Jungkook and Somi.” “You've got my protection. And they will too. We will make sure to put an end to all of this.” Taehyung stated pulling Jimin into a hug,
the elder of the two crying against his neck. “I'm so sorry Jimin, you had to go through all this alone and I wasn't there for you.” Taehyung cried out as he tightened his hold on his best friend. “You couldn't have known..”
“But now I do, and I won't stop until it's over.” Jimin smiled softly and nodded his head, “Can I tell you my plan?” Taehyung chuckled a bit before he pressed a kiss to his best friend’s forehead, “Lay it on me.”

-One month before the wedding- “Jungkook sweetheart, I don’t like this suit, I thought we had agreed on black?” His mother asked, she was looking over at him from her seat, a champagne flute in her hand. “I don’t like this one.”
Jungkook sighed as he looked over at his mother through the mirror, “Eomma, I picked this out a month ago, and it’s been altered for me, I am not changing it.” His eomma rolled her eyes, shaking her head as she looked at her son up and down.
“Why gray? And a dark gray no less. You should’ve chosen black if it was going to be this dark.” “Eomma, enough.” She sighed, looking away while taking a sip of her champagne. “Besides, I think I should have a say in what I want to wear to my own wedding.”
He looked at himself in the mirror, the tailor helping adjust the blazer. They were a month away from his and Namjoon’s wedding, according to Mrs. Kim everything was basically done and all they needed to do now was wait for the big day. Oh, and send out invitations, since for
some reason they still hadn’t done that yet. “What color did Namjoon-ssi pick?” His eomma asked, and she missed the way Jungkook smirked before replying. “Light gray.” “Oh my god.” She pinched the bridge of her nose, taking in a deep breath.
“How could you two possibly pick such colors when the theme is Romantic Garden?” Jungkook turned to face her, listening to her speak. “The theme is Romantic Garden and the theme colors are sage, pine, champagne, and antique pink!”
She shook her head in disbelief as she took in her son’s appearance. The male rolled his eyes, “Mrs. Kim approved the color selection, she was okay with us picking these colors.” Mrs.Jeon looked over at her son, her eyebrows furrowed.
Jungkook had known from the start how much his mother hated that Mrs. Kim took over the wedding planning. She had wanted to help plan it but due to her busy schedule she was unable to, so now whenever she has an opinion on the wedding it gets disregarded.
His mother remained quiet after that, simply observing as Jungkook spoke to the tailor. About half an hour later, Hoseok and Yoongi walked in, greeting Mrs.Jeon. They both patted Jungkook’s shoulder before they walked off with two other employees who were going to help them.
“I’ve already told the tailor what changes i need made, I’m going to go change now.” Jungkook spoke up, his mother simply humming in confirmation. He walked off the small podium before walking toward the dressing rooms, his hyungs were walking out of with light gray suits.
He smiled at them before slipping into his dressing room to change into his own clothes. He could hear his mother talk to his hyungs about how they were wearing the wrong colors for the wedding. Going on and on about the color palette and how no one seemed to be staying on theme.
Just as Jungkook was about to make his way toward his mother and hyungs, one of the employees walked over to him and handed a paper folded in half. Jungkook thanked him as he opened the paper up to read what was inside. “Meet me at our spot, in an hour.”
He frowned as he read the note, wondering who wanted to see him. He pocketed the note, and when he stepped out and was welcomed by the sight of Namjoon, Seokjin and Taehyung, he knew. Especially when his eyes locked with Taehyung for a few seconds.
“Hi hyung.” Jungkook said softly, walking toward his fiancé. The elder smiled at him and placed a gentle kiss on Jungkook’s cheek. This made his mother coo, and his hyungs fake gag. “Hello, dear. Were you just leaving?” Namjoon asked, Jungkook his head first before speaking,
“No, I was going to wait for my hyungs, but seeing as you are here I think I can’t stay. We can’t see what the other is wearing before the wedding right?” Namjoon chuckled, “No we cannot. How about we have dinner though? My treat.” Jungkook’s eyes found Taehyung’s and he
didn’t miss a beat when he said, “I’d love to, hyung but I’ve already got dinner plans with a friend. How about tomorrow? Does that work for you?” Namjoon didn’t get the chance to reply, as Mrs.Jeon spoke up. “Jungkook, I am sure you can cancel your dinner plans,
Namjoon is your fiancé.” The model hummed looking over at his mother, “I would, but this friend of mine is someone very dear to me, who I haven’t seen in a really long time. She is also only in the city for a few days. I’d rather not cancel.”
“Who could it possibly be?” His mother asked, and Jungkook said the one name he knew she would be content with. “Remember Chou Tzuyu?” At the mention of the name his mother’s eyes lit up, and she smiled brightly. “Oh gorgeous Tzuyu! She’s in town? I would love to see her!”
“Sadly, eomma she has a lot of jobs booked, she could only make time for me at dinner.” Jungkook responded, making his mother wave him off. “I’ll go with you.” “Absolutely not, I would love to have dinner with her without anyone else around, eomma. I haven’t seen her
in a long time and I want to enjoy my time with her.” His mother frowned, standing up and placing the champagne flute down. “Now Jungkook, that’s not nice. I want to see her too.” Jungkook stared at his mother, an emotionless expression. “No. That’s final.”
His mother was upset but let it go, for now and Jungkook was content with that. He looked over at Taehyung once again, the elder holding back a smile. “But to answer your question, dinner tomorrow works.” Namjoon smiled at Jungkook.
Jungkook grinned and placed a kiss on the elder’s cheek before he began to walk toward the exit, “I’ve got to go mother, get home safely.” Jungkook waved at them all before leaving the shop. Jungkook’s mother huffed and called over one of the employees,
“Can you please call my driver, my irresponsible son forgot I was meant to be taken home by him.” The employee looked at her confused, not knowing who he was meant to even call. “We can take you home, Mrs.Jeon, if you don’t mind waiting for our own appointment to end.”
Seokjin spoke up, making the woman turn to look at him. “I suppose not, maybe you will take my opinions to heart and make some changes, my son didn’t want to hear them.” She said, sitting back down. Taehyung cleared his throat and a few seconds later his phone rang.
“If you excuse me” He excused himself to be able to answer his phone. “Yes, of course I understand, I will be there right now. No worries, this must be fixed.” He hung up and walked over to the other three minus Yoongi and Hoseok who had walked off to change out of their suits.
“My secretary called me, there’s an issue with some paperwork we were meant to have finished this morning, I need to get back to the company. I will reschedule my appointment then head off.” His brothers nodded, Mrs.Jeon did as well.
Taehyung walked off to speak to one of the employees, pulling out some bills and discreetly handing it over to the employee. “Thank you for your help, I appreciate it” The employee smiled at him and bowed, “No problem sir, go on. I will reschedule your appointment, do not worry.”
The CEO smiled at him before walking out of the shop, waving goodbye to everyone else. Taehyung rushed to his car, but when he arrived, he saw Jungkook leaning against it. The model looked up when he felt someone near, and looked at Taehyung in curiosity.
“So why do you wanna see me?” Taehyung looked back toward the direction of the shop and walked over to open the passenger door, “Get in.” Jungkook looked at him for a few seconds but got into the car either way.
The elder moved to get into the driver side and quickly turn on the ignition to be able to speed off. Jungkook was focused on staring out the window while Taehyung focused on driving. It didn’t take them long to arrive at their spot.
A small restaurant at the outskirts of the city, where they had their first date, and where they would go to be together without anyone bothering them. Jungkook and Taehyung both got off and slowly walked toward the restaurant, it was a small ramen place.
They had found it during their first date, as they did not want to go to any expensive place and risk being seen. As soon as they walked in the delicious aroma hit their nostrils, making them both smile at the familiarity. “Oh my gosh, Taehyungie and Jungkookie!”
They looked over and saw the owner, Mrs.Han walk toward them. Mrs.Han was an old woman who had welcomed them with open arms since their first time there. She smiled widely when she approached them and pulled them both in for a tight hug. “I’ve missed you two so much”
The two males smiled as they hugged her back, she patted their cheeks when pulling away. “I will get you some food, go sit.” She hurried off and left the two to get a table. They sat down on the small table in the corner, its where they would always sit. Jungkook across
Taehyung, their knees touching under the table. “Why did you want to meet?” Taehyung looked around the small restaurant before looking at Jungkook, “I love you.” Jungkook’s eyes widened as he stared at the CEO, who was looking at him incredibly serious.
“I love you, I've never stopped and I want you to know the reason I was such an asshole in most of our relationship. “I was at a charity event, at the start of our relationship, your parents were there. I overheard them speak to some other people there how if they ever found
out you were dating someone they would make sure to ruin your career. Especially if you were dating someone they would never approve of.” Taehyung let out a shaky breath, his gaze on the table. “It scared me. To think they would go to such lengths to ruin their own son’s career
just because of the relationship he may have. So from then on I did everything to ensure no one ever found out, no matter how much I wanted everyone to know.” Jungkook was staring at Taehyung, taking in his words. A little confused, but more than anything he was hurt.
“I felt like I would never be someone they would approve of, or that they would think that you only had your career because you were sleeping with me. So I became an asshile, but I promise you I always loved you. I still do.” Taehyung slowly looked up at Jungkook,
meeting his eyes. The model’s eyes were teary as he stared back at the CEO. “It’s no excuse, I know.. But I was scared to lose you but I lost you anyway.” “My parents, they set up many dates for me during our relationship. Potential spouses, I never told you because I was scared
of how you’d react. I never went to any of them, or I would simply reject them on the spot.” Taehyng’s mouth fell slightly as he listened to Jungkook. “Our relationship consisted of you needing to hide us while my parents tried to marry off to everyone they could think of.”
“I forgive you.” Taehyng gasped softly, Jungkook reached over and took the elder’s hand in his, “I forgive you because I know you meant well.” Taehyung teared up as he looked at the model, “I also forgive you because I am still madly and undeniably in love with you.”
Taehyung let out a choked sob, gripping Jungkook’s hand tightly. “I will always love you, Kim Taehyung.” Taehyung allowed for his tears to run down his cheeks as he kissed Jungkook’s hand multiple times. “I’m so sorry..”
“Enough of that, I forgive you, only if you forgive me too.” Taehyung looked over at him in confusion. “Forgive you for what?” “For marrying your brother in a month.” Taehyung let out a shaky breath before shaking his head. “You won’t be marrying him.” “I won’t?”
Taehyung kissed the back of Jungkook’s hand, “No darling, you won’t. We’re going to stop that wedding.” “And how do you suggest we do that?” Jungkook giggled, tears running down his cheeks. Taehyung reached over to wipe them off. “Do you trust me?” “More than anything.”
“Do you want to be my boyfriend again?” Jungkook gasped, a beautiful blush taking over his cheeks. “Yes.” Taehyung smiled widely, “Then, I promise to stop this wedding. And once we do, you and I will run away, for some time. We’ll even take Somi with us.”
Jungkook frowned, “Why Somi?” Taehyung smiled at him sadly, “Baby doll, there’s a lot you need to know.” Jungkook nodded slowly, just as Mrs.Han placed two bowls of ramen in front of them. She pinched both their cheeks before walking away.
“Tell me?” Taehyung nodded, as while they ate, or tried to anyway, Taehyung told Jungkook everything he knew. From his parents being the ones to plan the home invasion, to Jungkook’s parents running a human trafficking ring, to sadly, how Jungkook and Somi weren’t their actual
children. He spared the detail about Jimin being their brother as he felt the male would want to tell that himself. Jungkook was crying the entire time, not being able to believe everything he was hearing. How could people do something as horrible as what his so-called parents
had been doing? Taehyung spent most of the night trying to calm Jungkook and reassure him that everything would be okay. Taehyung dropped Jungkook off at his apartment around midnight, with the promise of taking care of everything. He left knowing that Eunwoo was inside
Jungkook’s apartment and that he would be safe. Or so he thought. tw// mild violence & kidnapping Jungkook entered to see Eunwoo tied up in his living room, and the next thing Jungkook saw was Eunwoo trying to scream. Jungkook fell to the floor after being hit in the head,
by none other than Mrs.Jeon. She sighed and walked off leaving Jungkook unconscious on the floor. “I can’t believe this little rat told him everything.” She mumbled as she looked down at Jungkook, two men picking him up and placing him in a chair next to Eunwoo to tie him
up as well. “Once he’s secure, knock this one out again so that we can leave with my son.” She instructed the men, Eunwoo squirmed and moved, but immediately stopped when the barrel of his own gun was placed against his head.
“Now, you listen to me very carefully. When Kim Taehyung arrives here, whenever that may be looking for Jungkook. You tell him that he better stop whatever it is he is trying to do, or he will never see my son again.
Tell him he must let the wedding happen or he will be attending a funeral instead.” She looked at Eunwoo with so much anger in her eyes, and venom in her words. “Understood?” Eunwoo nodded and it was all she needed for her to instruct her men to knock him out,
they carried Jungkook out of his apartment and took him away. “The Kims really think they can get away with this? They must be stupid, to think they could mess with the Jeons.” She mumbled as she looked down at her unconscious son now laying in the truck of her car.
She rolled her eyes before closing it shut, driving into the night.
Jungkook woke up with an absolutely horrible headache. He groaned as he tried to control the pain in his head, wanting to reach up and hold onto it. Only to find that he couldn't move his hand. His eyes snapped open, he looked around and realized he was tied up.
He then remembered what he had seen before everything went dark. Eunwoo had been tied up. He looked around trying to see anything but it was dark, he could barely see his own body. So he decided to do what any other person would do in a situation like that. He screamed.
“Help! Someone help me!” He yelled at the top of his lungs, only to be cut off by someone else's voice. “It's no use.” He gasped, recognizing that voice. A light turned on and his mother, or the woman who called herself his mother was standing a few feet away from him.
“No one can hear you. I made sure of it.” She said, slowly walking over to him. Jungkook had tears in his eyes as he looked up at her. “Eomma?” “Oh please, I know you know the truth. Save it.” She rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest.
“Now listen, I’m sure your little boyfriend knows you're missing by now. So, it's time you know what's going to happen.” “How long have I been here?” Jungkook asked instead, making her hum softly and walking over to a chair. She sat down, and despite the circumstances she still
looked elegant doing so. “Three days.” Jungkook's eyes widened, trying to move again but not being able to due to how tight the ropes around him were. “We've kept you sedated the entire time. Needed them to go looking for you and find that bodyguard of yours.
So he could tell them everything.” She explained, the model looking at her with tears in his eyes. “Why? Why would you do this?” He asked, whimpered even. She looked over at him, and Jungkook wished more than anything that she'd look at him with love but there was none.

“You found out. If you hadn't, everything would've been fine. But Kim had to tell you and now you know everything.” She said, sighing as it was the worst thing in the world. “So now we have to make sure you do marry Namjoon. Our business depends on it.”
“Your business? You mean human trafficking?! You're horrible!” Jungkook cried out, trying to free himself but failing. “Yes, our business. We made a deal with someone from Japan. And we agreed that marrying you off to Namjoon would be the perfect way to ensure that our business
could blossom. More resources, more money, more efficiency.” She explained and it made Jungkook sick. “Son, you need to marry Namjoon. We will ensure that you do so, otherwise you'll lose your life. And I am sure Taehyung wouldn't want that.”
She stood up and walked over to Jungkook, grabbing his chin. She dug her nails into his skin making him wince. “You're going to be a good son and do as your mother says, right dear?” Jungkook knew he had no choice but to agree if he wanted to leave that place.
So he let out a small ‘yes’ leave his lips. She smiled and harshly pulled her hand away, “I thought so. Because not only will you lose your life, but we'll make sure Somi and Taehyung are harmed in one way or another.”
Jungkook looked at her with wide sad eyes, shaking his head. “No, leave them alone. I'll do it. I’ll marry him.” “Good. I need you to also tell me what plans they have on stopping the wedding.” Jungkook frowned because Taehyung did mention he had a plan but never specifically
told him about it. He looked up at his mother- at the woman- and shook his head. “He didn't tell me, eomma. He mentioned a plan but never told me what it was. I don't know.” She knew her son well enough to know when he was lying and when he wasn't, and how she had gone years
without even knowing about his relationship with Taehgung. But as she stared at him she could tell he knew nothing. She sighed and nodded her head, “Very well.” She stared at him, and a part of her ached seeing her son like that, because despite not being her biological son,
she loved him as such. “I'll have someone come and untie you, but remember Jungkook, you do something to defy me and your sister and boyfriend’s lives are at risk.” Jungkook nodded sadly, sniffling as he watched her walk away and out of the room.
He looked around and broke down crying, wanting nothing more than to be with Taehyung at the moment. It was about half an hour later when the doors opened and he watched two men walk in. He watched them make their way to him, untying him but
Jungkook knew better than to try anything. He slowly stood up but he was so weak he fell right back down onto the chair, he looked up at the men. They didn't think twice about helping him up, and helping him out of the room.
They walked down a dark hallway, reaching some stairs and making Jungkook slowly go up. Once they were up, they had to unlock a door. Jungkook noticed it was a palm reader. The door opened when one of the men placed his hand on the reader.
They helped him through the door and Jungkook looked around, seeing that it seemed like they were in what looked like a closet. Jungkook was guided out of said closet, only to end up walking out onto his parents bedroom. He was home all along.
He blinked at the change of light, wanting to cover his eyes. The two men led him out of the bedroom, and made their way toward Jungkook’s old bedroom. He was helped over to his bed and laid down. “Stay here, one of the maids will be here soon with some food for you.”
The taller of the two men said, making Jungkook nod. They glanced at each other before walking out for room, obviously locking it from the outside. Jungkook sighed and curled up in bed. He cried out as he wanted to leave but he knew he couldn't.
He just hoped Taehyung would find a way to help him.
-Hours after Jungkook’s kidnapping- Taehyung had been calling and texting Jungkook nonstop, he was worried that the younger one wasn't answering. It wasn't like him not to answer. He had dropped him off around midnight and it was now 5 in the afternoon and Jungkook had yet to
respond. What made Taehyung panic was that he had called Eunwoo and the bodyguard had not picked up either. So, he decided to go there himself, as Yugyeom and Mingyu were busy taking care of Somi and Jungkook’s hyungs. He knocked on the door loudly, “Jungkook!? Are you here?”
He waited for a response but there was none. So he knocked again, “Jungkook?” Then he heard a loud thump so he quickly tried to put in the door passcode hoping Jungkook had never changed it. He hadn't, it was still their anniversary. He ran in, and looked at the mess
the apartment was in. He then saw Eunwoo on the floor, still tied to the chair. Taehyung rushed over and untied the gag that was on and in his mouth. “Eunwoo? Where's Jungkook?!” Eunwoo looked at his boss with tear stained cheeks, “His mother took him, she wanted me to tell
you that you better stop whatever it is you're planning on doing. That you must let the wedding happen or else you'll be attending a funeral instead.” Taehyung’s blood ran cold, he stared at Eunwoo for a few seconds before helping him up. The ropes were so tight that he had to
run to the kitchen and obtain a knife to cut them off him. Eunwoo was weak, so Taehyung called for backup. “Is she going to hurt him if I go looking for him?” Eunwoo nodded, his eyes slowly closing as exhaustion was taking over his body. Taehyung helped him over to the couch,
laying him down as the bodyguard passed out right after. Taehyung wanted to scream and punch the wall but he knew that it wouldn't help in any way. It was only 15 minutes later when Yugyeom, Mingyu and both his brothers ran into the apartment.
He looked at the bodyguards who rushed over to Eunwoo, “Where's Somi?” He asked, making Mingyu look up from his friend. “We dropped her off at her parents’ house.” “Fuck.” Taehyung said as he gripped his hair, making all four of them look at him in confusion. “Jungkook’s mother
did this. He took her, and you just delivered her daughter to her. She's going to keep her too” Namjoon and Seokjin glanced at each other before looking over at Taehyung, “How did she find out?” “Hell if I know. I told Jungkook everything at a place where no one would hear us.
I don't know how she knows.” He shook his head, looking over at Eunwoo. “Well we can't do anything at the moment or else she'll hurt them.” Namjoon said, making Taehyung sign out in frustration. “So what? We just wait it out? She could be hurting him as we speak.”
Seokjin reached out and placed a hand on his shoulder. “Did she leave a note or anything?” “She just told Eunwoo to tell me to stop what I’m doing and let the wedding happen or else I'd attend a funeral.” Taehyung looked at his brother with teary eyes.
“Then, we must let it be that way. Don't do anything, obviously she’ll know you know what happened, but you need to let the wedding take place.” Taehyung looked over at Namjoon, the elder giving him a single nod. “We’ll stop it either way, we just need her to believe the
wedding is still on. Then we'll get her, her husband and not only free Jungkook and Somi, but also all those people who are victims to their horrible deeds.” Taehyung nodded before letting out a heartbreaking sob, Seokjin pulling him in for a hug.
“It's going to be okay, Taehyung. We just need to let her believe we're going to let the wedding happen. It will be okay.” -Present- The door opened and a maid walked in with a tray of food, Jungkook sat up slowly. She looked at him with so much sympathy and sadness it
hurt him. She placed the tray on his nightstand, and glanced over at the door before turning back to him. “Your sister wants you to know she's okay. Don't worry, she's in her room. They haven't done anything to her. Is there anything you'd like me to tell her?”
Jungkook looked at her with fresh tears in his eyes, in gratitude. “Just tell her to please be careful and to take care of herself.” The maid nodded and patted his shoulder gently. “Please eat, okay?” She mumbled before exiting the bedroom, having to lock the door. Jungkook
glanced at the food and decided to eat, then take a shower as he felt dirty and didn't want to be in those clothes anymore. He walked out of the shower in nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. He walked over to the closet, hoping there were clothes in it.
He let out a sign of relief when he opened the closet doors and it was full of clothes. He quickly changed into the most comfortable clothes he could find. He was sitting down on the bed when the door opened and his parents walked in. He tensed up, and he could've sworn he saw
what looked like sadness flash in his mother’s eyes. But just as quick as it appeared it was gone. They walked over to the bed, sitting at the end of it. Jungkook brought his legs up, his knees touching his chest as he hugged his legs.
He looked at them, waiting patiently for them to speak. “We know you're probably confused, and we understand why you'd be.” His father spoke, making Jungkook look between the two. “Your mother was told she could never have children of her own, as her husband I wanted to ensure
she had children like she wished.” He continued, he took his wife’s hand. “Maybe it wasn't the right approach. It was a wrong approach actually, the worst one. But we did it once, and it didn't work out for us. As the child didn't want anything to do with us, and we were told
there was another family who wanted him.” Jungkook frowned, not understanding what his parents were saying. “We later came to find out that he had been going from family to family because no one wanted him. Until he was with his last family, who despite buying him in the
most illegal way, loved him.” Jungkook stared at his father, as he continued. “He was with them until he was 16, his parents died in a car accident and your mother and I ensured he didn't end up in the foster care system. He had been alone since then.”
“Why are you telling me this?” Jungkook whispered as he brought his legs closer. “Because that boy is your biological brother.” Jungkook's eyes widened at his father’s words. “And when we couldn't keep him, we got you and your sister.” “Who is he?”
His parents glanced at each other before his mother spoke up, “Park Jimin.” Jungkook felt the air leave his lungs as he stared at his parents, his eyes filling up with tears. “Jimin hyung is my brother?” His father nodded, “He is. We wanted you to know from us.
But we want you to know we never intended of being in this shady business, but after obtaining you and your sister, the person in charge told us we needed to help out.” “It was because we had bought a child that turned out being passed down family to family, and that could raise
suspicion on what was going on. We had no choice but to comply.” His mother added, making Jungkook look at her. “We were rising politicians, they were going to benefit from that since we could help cover it up. We joined them and have been a part of it since.” Jungkook had tears
running down his cheeks as he shook his head. “All we wanted was to have our own children and a family, but it ended up so much different than we had wished.” His mother sighed and looked over to her husband, “It's why we have no choice but to make sure you marry Namjoon.”
“Is that why you kept trying to marry me off to so many people?” His parents nodded in response. “They were potential people that the boss thought would help the business grow. And every time you rejected them, we'd have to pay for it. So when you finally agreed to a marriage,
and we let him know, he was happy about it. Even if the marriage wasn't planned by him.” Jungkook felt like it was hard to breathe, so he lowered his legs and tried to control his breathing. “We're not bad people, Jungkook.”
“Don't say that! You bought my sister and I off human traffickers! You bought Jimin hyung too! And then you started working for them! Don't say that you're not bad people because you are!” He yelled, tears streaming down his face.
“Jungkook please listen-” “No! You listen, I am not going to marry Namjoon hyung to help you in your dirty work and illegal acts! I'm doing it to keep my sister and Taehyung alive! So don't talk to me again, I'll get married but leave me alone!”
His parents stared at him with wide eyes before they stood up and walked out of the bedroom. Jungkook screamed and yelled, trashing the bedroom from top to bottom. Somi could hear him from her room, and it made her desperate to go to her brother and be there for him.
But she couldn't, she was locked in her room as well.
— oop, what do you think? thoughts, comments, questions? or even theories idk 🙊😞 curiouscat.me/taegicultist

It was three days later when Jungkook’s bedroom door was opened and the maid informed him he was allowed to leave the room. Hesitantly, he stood up from the bed and made his way toward the door. She smiled at him reassuringly and he stepped out, being met with a cry of his name
He quickly turned to see his sister running toward him, hugging him tightly. “Somi..” He hugged her tightly to him, tears in his eyes as he had been worried about her despite being rooms away. “We're going to be okay” He added, to which she nodded and pulled away from the hug.
The siblings walked hand in hand down the stairs. Their ‘parents' were in the dining room, and because they didn't want to get in trouble, they decided to join them. “Go on, eat up. We're having guests later.” Mrs.Jeon said, making the siblings sit down side by side.
They ate rather slowly and not much, mostly doing it to ensure their parents wouldn't be upset. “Mrs.Jeon, the Kims called to inform you that only Namjoon-ssi, his mother and the wedding planner will be coming.” Jungkook’s eyes moved to the maid as he heard her speak, his eyes
met his mother’s and she gave him what he'd like to think was a warm smile. “Very well, thank you.” “What are they coming for?” Jungkook asked, making Somi look at him in worry. “Final wedding details, and I expect you to be on your best behavior, Jungkook.”
The model nodded slowly and focused back on his food. Namjoon, his mother and the wedding planner arrived an hour later. Jungkook immediately rushed over to the COO and hugged him tightly. Namjoon held onto him, his eyes on Jungkook’s mother as the male cried
against his shoulder “How very sweet, he missed his fiancé. Jungkook had been sick these last few days and we wanted to take care of him and make sure he got better quickly.” Mrs.Jeon explained, earning a nod from the other two women.
“Shall we?” She led them toward the living room, Namjoon and Jungkook stayed behind. “Are you okay?” He asked the younger male who looked at him with sadness. “No, I want to get out of here.” “And we’ll get you out of this.” Was all Namjoon was able to say before he walked
with Jungkook toward the living room so they wouldn't suspect a thing. They sat next to each other, the model holding onto the elder’s hand as he felt more comfortable being close to someone that wasn't his mother. They listened to their mothers talk about how the
engagement party, rehearsal dinner and wedding ceremony will take place. Jungkook was zoned out most of the conversation, only hearing bits and pieces of the entire conversation. His head was placed on Namjoon’s shoulder, while the elder listened attentively to everything.
“Is that okay with you, boys?” Jungkook looked up to his mother, but Namjoon answered for him. “We think that's okay, right, love?” Jungkook simply nodded, knowing Namjoon would not agree to anything that wasn't okay. “Great! Then the engagement party is tomorrow and the
rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding.” “Is there anyone you two would like to invite?” Mrs. Kim asked, her question being directed mostly at Jungkook. “My hyungs, Yoongi, Hoseok and Jimin.” At the mention of Jimin’s name, Mrs.Jeon tensed. Mrs. Kim simply smiled.
“Of course dear, Jimin is actually already invited. He is Taehyung's best friend after all.” She smiled at him fondly, making Jungkook feel warm inside. Jungkook placed his head back on the elder’s shoulder, Namjoon gave his hand a gentle squeeze.
“Then I guess that’s settled, can’t wait to see you all tomorrow.” Mrs. Kim smiled as she stood up from the couch, ready to leave. Jungkook became nervous as he didn’t want to go back to his room, it was stupid really that at his age with his own apartment he was being held
against his will at his parents’ house. “Would you like me to take you home?” Namjoon asked, Jungkook sat up and turned to the elder with wide eyes, it caught both Jungkook and his mother off guard. Jungkook found himself looking over at his mother, she shook her head no
but the male turned back to Namjoon and nodded. “Yes please. Somi is coming with me, we planned a sleepover.” Namjoon smiled at him before he turned to Mrs.Jeon, “You don’t have to worry about how he gets home ma’am, I’ll take him.”
Mrs. Kim looked over at her and the woman found herself in a tough spot. She ended up smiling at the COO and nodding her head, “Yes, of course. I know he’s in great hands with you, I just worry since he’s still a little sick.” “Oh no need to worry, I will stay with him until
he feels better.” Namjoon replied, making Jungkook look between the two, still feeling a bit nervous. “I’m his fiancé, it’s the least I could do.” Mrs.Jeon had no other option but to nod, Jungkook quickly stood up and placed a kiss on Namjoon's cheek. “I’ll be right back.”
Jungkook ran off to get his sister, asking her to pack as much as she could into a bag. Once they were ready, the siblings ran downstairs, and to Namjoon. The elder turned to Jungkook’s mother and thanked her for having them before taking Jungkook’s hand,
“We will see you tomorrow, auntie.” Mrs.Jeon smiled at the pair but it seemed fake. “We will.” She looked between Somi and Jungkook but defeatedly let them leave with the Kims. Once in the car, they were able to breathe, Somi had tears in her eyes as she looked back at the
place they once called home. Jungkook grabbed her hand and kissed her forehead, “We’ll be okay.” Namjoon drove them out of there with his mother in the passenger seat, she looked back at the Jeon siblings and looked at them sadly.
“Just hold on a little longer, Jungkook. It will be over soon..” She said, making the model look at her and nod, “I know it’s much harder than you anticipated and there's so much more going on that you could never imagine but it will be over.”
“Is he okay?” Mrs. Kim knew who he was asking about so she nodded, “He is okay, but we have to make sure you don’t see each other despite him being your boss. I will try to keep your parents off your back, you need to resume your life as if nothing is going on.
Do photoshoots, interviews, shows and more, just keep yourself busy so they have no opportunity to get to you until the wedding.” Jungkook agreed and then turned to his sister who was looking at him in worry, “What about Somi?” Namjoon looked back at them through the rear view
mirror, “She can live with you, and we will have even more bodyguards posted outside and in the building. Is that okay with you?” “I don’t want to go back there so, yes.” Somi nodded quickly, making Jungkook hug her tightly.
The next day, Jungkook found himself entering a luxurious venue hand in hand with Namjoon, and his sister next to him. They were greeted by their guests, many of whom Jungkook did not even know. He looked around and noticed his parents talking with some guests,
the Kims standing next to them. “He’s not here yet.” Namjoon mumbled, the model huffed and nodded nonetheless. The pair walked around being congratulated by so many people, it was a good distraction from everything going on, even if their marriage was fake.
He spotted his hyungs by the bar and dragged Namjoon with him, letting go of his hand to hug Yoongi tightly, who had gasped and rushed over to him as soon as he saw Jungkook. Jungkook did his absolute best not to cry but it was no use, he hugged his hyung
and cried against his neck. “Shh, it’s okay, it’s going to be okay, You’re safe now and that’s what matters.” His hyung whispered in his ear. Jungkook sniffed and pulled away to hug his Hoseok hyung. Who was also teary eyes holding onto the model for dear life.
Jungkook was happy that he was with his hyungs, he just wished it was all because everything had ended. He stayed by them at the bar, Somi stayed with them as well. He then spotted Taehyung entering the venue, Jimin on his side. The model stared at the CEO, he looked as
handsome as ever and he wished he could walk over to him, but he knew better. Taehyung however turned and locked eyes with Jungkook, then Jimin followed. He could’ve sworn Jimin had gasped as he saw Jungkook, Taehyung reached over and whispered something to Jimin which made the
male look away. Jungkook looked down at the floor, needing to make sure he didn’t look at the CEO for too long. “Jungkook?” He looked up to see his parents standing in front of him, “There’s someone we’d like you to meet.” Jungkook gulped, his hand unconsciously reaching for
Namjoon’s. His parents noticed, “He can come too.” Namjoon and Jungkook followed the couple toward a table, there were about five people sitting around it. Three men and two women. “Jungkook, this is Mr.Yang, he is one of our business partners.”
The model understood what that meant, he looked over at the man sitting straight ahead of him, a smirk on his lips. “It’s nice to meet you, Mr.Yang.” The man stood up, fixing his jacket as he walked around the table to stand by Jungkook.
“I’ve already met you, but you were only a baby when I did. It’s nice to see how much you’ve grown.” Jungkook felt sick to his stomach, so he turned to look at Namjoon pleadingly. “I’m Kim Namjoon, Jungkook’s fiancé. Nice to meet you.” Namjoon looked intimidating as he spoke
and it made Jungkook’s parents feel slightly nervous. Mr.Yang hummed as he looked at the COO up and down before he smiled at him. “Likewise, take good care of this boy here, he’s special.” He said and looked over at the Jeons, nodding in what Jungkook felt was approval.
He saw his parents visibly relax and it made him want to leave as soon as possible. When no one else spoke, Namjoon excused them and walked away with Jungkook, saying they needed to see his parents. He quickly took Jungkook out onto the garden for fresh air as it looked like
the younger one was having trouble breathing. “Are you alright?” Jungkook had tears in his eyes as he slowly took deep breaths, Namjoon waited for him to respond, allowing him time to recover. “That’s the man who sold me and my siblings isn’t he?” Namjoon nodded slowly and
it broke Jungkook, he never thought he’d ever have to face a man that caused him and his siblings harm. Especially days after finding out the truth. “Is everything okay?” They turned to see Mrs. Kim looking at the two in worry, Namjoon quickly explained the situation and
she hugged Jungkook tightly. “I didn’t think she’d actually invite him here, I’m so sorry.” “Let’s make sure you’re okay first, and ensure your sister is also. Then we can continue with announcing your engagement and give thanks so you can leave.”
Jungkook nodded as he wiped his cheeks and took Namjoon’s hand again. The three entered, and Mrs. Kim walked toward the stage that had been set up, she had a microphone in her hand and asked everyone for their attention. She smiled widely as she thanked everyone for being able
to attend her son and future son-in-law’s engagement party. She went on to say how excited she was and how she just knew everything was going to be amazing. That the marriage was bringing two people together as one but also bringing two important families together.
Jungkook looked over at Mr.Yang, who raised his glass at him with a stupid smirk on his lips. Seokjin then walked over with Seulgi next to him, Jungkook smiled at the two, and he wanted to properly introduce himself to her but Mrs. Kim was calling out for them.
Namjoon and Jungkook walked onto stage, the elder male taking the microphone from his mother. “Thank you all for coming here to celebrate my fiancé and I’s engagement. We are so happy and excited for our wedding. It will be taking place in less than three weeks, and we honestly
can’t wait.” Namjoon smiled at Jungkook, and the male hoped he was smiling back convincingly enough. “So, here is to Jungkook, an angel on earth that deserves nothing but the best.” Namjoon turned to Jungkook and pressed a kiss to his forehead. Jungkook unconsciously blushed
and hugged the elder. There were claps and cheering as the two walked off stage, Jungkook being quick to run off with Namjoon, Somi and his hyungs. Leaving the party behind as he no longer wanted to be there. As they were walking out, his eyes locked with Taehyung’s
and the elder smiled at him with so much love it almost made Jungkook want to run back to him. Jimin tugged at his sleeve making Taehyung look away, and it was then Namjoon dragged Jungkook away.
— also i tend to come up with the title for my works after i've already started and it's why it's never in the very first tweet. but in case anyone is curious this one is called amor mío 😌🤍
Jungkook was on the couch with his sister, Namjoon had dropped them off and went to get them something to eat. “Does he look evil?” Jungkook turned to Somi, she looked at him with curious eyes, but he could sense the hurt behind them. “He did, he looked sinister.
He looks like the type of man to hurt others for personal gain.” Somi looked down, hugging her knees to her chest. “I had a plan for all this, but I didn't know the extent of their own plans.” The model looked at her, placing his arm around her and bringing her to him.
“What was your plan?” “I was going to have Jimin oppa take your place at the altar.” Jungkook laughed, looking at her in amusement. “How on earth did you think you were going to pull that off? We look nothing alike.”
Somi rolled her eyes, “Obviously I was going to insist you both wear like I don't know masquerade masks and then switch the lights on accident and replace you with Jimin oppa.” Jungkook continued laughing, “How on earth did you come up with that?”
Somi pouted, not appreciating her brother laughing at such an incredible plan. “I read it in some fanfiction somewhere.” “You read fanfiction?! Of who?” Jungkook was entirely amused and intrigued. Somi kept pouting and shook her head, which only caused Jungkook
to laugh even harder, “Jeon Somi! You read fanfiction about me?!” She whined and hit his arm, “Don't make it sound weird! I only read the cute ones, I know there are also super nsfw ones but I avoid those.” Jungkook couldn't believe what his sister was saying,
“Who else are in those fanfiction stories you read?” “Like who are you paired up with?” The male nodded, “You and Taehyung oppa.” Jungkook choked at that, his eyes practically bulging out of his eyes, “What?!”
“Yeah.. there's like a fan base dedicated to you two. For some reason everyone believes the hot CEO and top model would look good together.” She said, her eyes on her brother who was staring down at his lap. “People would be okay if it was you two, you know?”
He looked at her, she smiled at him warmly and hugged him. “I don't know what you're scared of. Just go out and announce it to the world. Let them all know it’s always been you two.” “If only it was that easy.” Somi laid her head on his chest, hugging him tightly as her
brother held onto her. “We’ll be okay right?” Jungkook hummed, “Yeah we will” The doorbell rang, causing them to pull apart and look toward it in confusion. As Namjoon knew his passcode. Jungkook stood up and walked toward the door, but if it had to be someone he knew right?
Or else the security guard and bodyguard posted on the floor wouldn't allow them to go near. Somi stayed on the couch, eyes glued on the door. The male looked over at the screen on the wall, Namjoon’s suggestion on adding a security camera outside.
He gasped softly when he noticed who it was, so he quickly opened the door. “Taehyung?” The CEO rushed inside and wrapped his arms tightly around Jungkook’s waist. “Hi darling, I've missed you.” Jungkook started crying as he hugged Taehyung back tightly.
Taehyung closed the door with his foot, not wanting to let go of the model. “I was so worried about you, I felt like I was dying trying to figure out where you were.” Jungkook walked backwards toward the living room, Somi giggling to herself at how they didn't even try to
separate even a little. She moved to the side to allow Taehyung to sit on the couch, pulling Jungkook onto his lap. “I wanted so badly to turn the world on its head just to find you, but I knew if I did your parents would probably hurt you if they found out.”
Taehyung mumbled, lips pressed against Jungkook’s hair. “I couldn't sleep, I wanted to make sure you were safe. Worst week I’ve ever experienced. I had people looking for you everywhere but I made sure they were discreet about it.”
Jungkook pulled away enough to look at Taehyung, sniffling softly. Somi smiled to herself before slowly standing up and making her way toward the bedroom she was staying in. Jungkook and Taehyung were too busy staring at each other to notice.
“I don’t want to go back to that house.” “And you won’t, darling. I’m going to take you so far away, that you’ll never have to worry about anyone doing you any harm.” Jungkook smiled and pressed a kiss to Taehyung’s forehead.
“What’s the plan then?” Jungkook asked, his voice barely above a whisper. Taehyung hummed as he pushed the model’s hair back, knowing how much Jungkook likes having his hair played with. “Well, it’s a lot, we decided to plan the entire thing while you and Somi were basically
kidnapped. It’s going to be complicated, but we have connections, some of which your parents never expect us to have.” Taehyung looked at Jungkook in concern, because he knew that despite everything, Jungkook deep down loved them as his parents.
“I don’t care how complicated it is, is it doable?” “100%” “Then we’ll do it, no matter what.” Jungkook hugged Taehyung tightly, not wanting to let him go. Scared that if he did, he’d disappear forever.
“Once all of this is over, I promise to show you the way you should’ve been treated all along, and I won’t hold back. I want to love you without limit.” Jungkook smiled slightly to himself as he hid his face against the elder’s neck.
Namjoon arrived 20 minutes later with enough food for the four, they sat around the coffee table in the living room as Namjoon and Taehyung explained the plan to the siblings in detail. Somi looked terrified but Namjoon promised nothing and no one would hurt her or Jungkook.
And true to his word, Jungkook busied himself with jobs here and there, wanting to stay as far away from everyone as possible. Taehyung became busy with dozens of meetings, pertaining his agency and others not so much.
Namjoon and Seokjin took care of the dirty work, the information they needed that was difficult for anyone else to track. Mr and Mrs. Kim made sure to distract the Jeons with everything about the wedding, as they wanted the wedding of the year to be memorable and perfect.
As for Yoongi and Hoseok, they had smaller jobs, they were required to keep an eye on Somi, because Jungkook didn’t trust anyone else but his hyungs to watch over his sister. Jungkook had not seen Jimin since the engagement party so he wasn’t sure if he had part in helping with
the plan, but more than likely he did. Jungkook and Taehyung would only see each other through facetime, not being able to risk being seen by Jungkook’s parents or someone who works for them. The model wanted nothing more than to have his Taehyung back
but he knew he needed to wait a little longer. The night of the rehearsal dinner was when Jungkook would be told if everything was ready, if the plan worked and the wedding wouldn’t take place.
Sadly, however, Namjoon walked over to him after speaking with his parents and hugged Jungkook tightly. Whispering, “It’s not ready, we’re not sure if it's going to be okay by tomorrow.” Jungkook felt his stomach drop, and for the remaining dinner, he stuck by Namjoon's side,
glancing over at Taehyung every now and then. The elder shaking his head slightly at Jungkook’s pleading eyes, they didn’t have an answer yet. Namjoon briefly explained that to execute the plan they needed to get someone very important to agree to help them, they had yet to
respond with their answer, and without it, their plan was basically doomed. “No word yet?” Jungkook whispered to Namjoon, who shook his head. “As soon as I know, you will too.” Mrs.Jeon walked over and smiled at them, as the two were staring at each other intensely,
“You two need to leave that tension for the honeymoon.” She joked, making Jungkook huff and walk away. She gulped and looked at Namjoon, who out of politeness, gave her a small nod and walked off. She hurried off to her husband, worried that if they went along with the plan
they were going to lose their children forever. “We have no choice, you know they need to marry. As soon as they are officially husbands is when we can force the Kims to sign off everything they own to us, and that way we can help Yang.” Mr.Jeon explained through gritted teeth.
“This was never part of our plan.” Mrs.Jeon said back, looking at him with so much guilt. “What plan?” He was confused at his wife mentioning their own plan, a plan he had no idea existed. “Our plan to have a family, you promised me a family and a good life. Now I might lose
all that tomorrow.” She walked off, tears in her eyes. Jimin stared at the couple from a few feet away and when Mrs.Jeon waked off he locked eyes with Mr.Jeon. Jimin gave him a small smirk and shake of the head before walking away, but he was stopped by said man.
“What do you know?” Jimin pulled his arm away from the man’s grip, glaring at him with so much anger. “I don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about but if you ever touch me again I’ll make sure to cut off your hand.” The model walked off leaving a stunned Mr.Jeon behind.
The couple and their respective bridal parties went ahead and practiced the ceremony that would be taking place the next day. Jungkook stood in front of Namjoon holding his hands with Somi, Yoongi and Hoseok standing by him. Namjoon had Seokjin, Taehyung and Jimin on his side.
The ceremony was going to be simple, as neither one of the grooms wanted to say their own vows, why would they anyway? They didn’t have anything out of love they could possibly say to one another, not to mention the wedding wasn’t supposed to be happening.
Jungkook looked over at Taehyung when it was his turn, and he was thankful no one noticed. He was happy no one noticed him looking right at Taehyung when he said, “I, Jungkook, take you, Namjoon, to be my beloved husband, to have and to hold you, to honor you, to treasure you,
to be at your side in sorrow and in joy, in the good times, and in the bad, and to love and cherish you always. I promise you this from my heart, for all the days of my life.” His mouth said Namjoon, but his heart and soul screamed Taehyung.
Jungkook paced back and forth in his suite, Yoongi, Hoseok and Somi were with him. “I still don't know if the plan is going to happen, what if I do end up married to Namjoon?!” Hoseok was about to speak when there was a knock on the door, “I'll get it.” Somi mumbled,
rushing to the door. She opened it and saw Jimin, who looked at her in surprise. “Ah, Somi, please let Jungkook know the plan is happening. We got the answer we were looking for.” Jimin said in a hushed and rushed voice, Somi’s eyes widened.
“I'll tell him, thank you so much.” She smiled at him and quickly shut the door to run to her brother. “Jimin oppa said the plan is a go.” Jungkook let out a sigh of relief, chuckling softly. “Oh thank god.”
Just then, the Jeons walked into the room, looking happy and proud. “Oh my baby, look at you!” Mrs.Jeon said as she walked toward Jungkook. And even if the model hated it, he allowed himself to be hugged and kissed by her.
“This is the start of the rest of your life, baby.” Jungkook gave her a small smile, his father stepped toward him and patted his back. “Thank you.” “For what?” Jungkook asked while looking at the older man. “For helping us.”
Jungkook held back the urge to roll his eyes, so he simply nodded. “Okay, let's go. It's showtime.” His mother giggled, ushering everyone out of the room. “Would you like us to walk you down the aisle?” Jungkook stared at his mother, and knowing the wedding
was fake and none of it would ever mean something, he nodded. Yoongi, Hoseok and Somi walked out first, ready to walk down the aisle when it was time. Jungkook's arms were linked with his parents’, waiting for their cue to go. At the ceremony space, Seokjin
along with Seulgi walked down the aisle arm in arm, followed by Jimin and their father, and Taehyung walked in with their mother by his side. Lastly, was Namjoon, who walked in on his own, head held high and proud.
Everyone was looking down the aisle as Namjoon, Seokjin, Taehyung and Jimin were standing at the altar. Hoseok walked in first, a huge smile on his face needing to sell his act. Yoongi was next, looking almost as smiley but he didn't want to go overboard or it would look fake.
Somi was after him, she was the self appointed flower girl. She looked gorgeous as she walked down the aisle throwing rose petals with every step. The music changed, indicating Jungkook was next. Everyone stood and Namjoon’s gaze fell on Taehyung.
The CEO took a deep breath as he awaited the model to show up at the end of the aisle. And when he did, Taehyung felt himself not being able to breathe. Jungkook looked beautiful, as fake as the wedding was, his Jungkook was beautiful.
The model walked down the aisle arm in arm with his parents, who walked down super proud of themselves. Jungkook’s eyes were locked on Taehyung who was standing next to Namjoon. So, to anyone, it looked like he was looking at Namjoon.
They reached the altar and his parents hugged and kissed his cheeks, before handing him over to Namjoon. The male smiled in thank you as he took Jungkook’s hands in his. Namjoon gave him a small squeeze, as assuring him everything would be okay. Jungkook nodded at him in return
Everyone took their seats, the grooms stared at each other while the officiant began. “Thank you everyone for being here on this day. That is not only special for the two people standing in front of me, but their families as well.” “Before we begin this ceremony, I must ask,
if anyone has cause to object to the forming of this union, speak now or forever hold your peace.” The officiant said, looking around the people in the ceremony space. Jungkook took a deep breath and then it happened. “I object.”
There was a series of gasps and shocked expressions for numerous people in the crowd. Jungkook and Namjoon turned to look at Jimin. “Jimin, shut up.” Mrs.Jeon said hushed through gritted teeth but the model shook his head.
“I object to this wedding and this union.” He said, loud and clear. The officiant looked at the couple before looking at Jimin, “I am sure that you know that once there is an objection the wedding cannot take place.”
“No! He isn't objecting!” Mrs.Jeon yelled out, standing up and looking at Jimin in rage. “I’m sorry ma’am, true or not, once someone objects the wedding cannot move forward.” The officiant apologized before stepping back and walking away.
Jimin looked at Jungkook before he turned to the Jeons, “I object because he doesn't deserve this. And it's time everyone knows how corrupt, and what a couple of criminals you are!” Jungkook stepped back, looking over at his parents in fear.
“The Jeons have done the absolute worst, and I am here to prove just that!” tw// hüman träfficking Jimin stepped forward, standing next to Jungkook. “Jungkook and Somi are siblings, but they are not the Jeons’ children. They were bought illegally, just like me.”
“They work for a man named Yang Hu. And he is here today.” Jimin looked over at the man, who was quickly trying to get out of the place. But was stopped by Mingyu, Eunwoo and Yugyeom. “The Jeons have worked alongside this man for years, selling and buying
children for their own personal gain. The wedding itself was meant to be a way for Yang and the Jeons to obtain more resources.” Jimin spoke with so much anger and determination that it scared Jungkook. “And I have proof of it all.” Jungkook turned to look over at the Kim
siblings only to see Seokjin was gone, his eyes quickly shifted to the audience, and Seulgi was gone as well. Taehyung was not next to Namjoon and it worried Jungkook, until suddenly there was a voice recording playing in the speakers.
“We need to ensure Jungkook marries Namjoon, then we can force the Kims to sign everything over to us.” It was Mr.Jeon’s voice. “I know, and with all the resources we will obtain it will be easier to transport and hide what we are doing.” Mrs.Jeon.
“Well you two better make sure nothing goes wrong or I’ll make sure to get rid of your precious little children.” And that was Yang. Jungkook’s eyes snapped over to Somi, who was being held between Yoongi and Hoseok. There were tears in her eyes as she stared at her brother.
“Don't worry, nothing will go wrong.” His mother's voice boomed across the ceremony space. “And if that wasn't enough evidence, I have everything anyone will ever need to use against them, right here.” Taehyung spoke up, he was at the end of the aisle, holding up a flash drive.
What Jungkook hadn't known was that the person that they needed help from and were waiting for their response, was a woman. A woman that looked a lot like an older version of Somi.
Jungkook’s breath hitched as he saw the woman standing next to Taehyung. He wanted to look over to Somi and see her reaction but he was scared to look away even for a second. Scared she'd disappear if he looked away. Jimin walked halfway down the aisle and held his hand out to
her, “Come here eomma, it's okay.” Jungkook teared up and finally turned to Somi who was staring at the woman with teary eyes as well. “This woman is Park Binna. She is my biological mother, but not only is she mine, she is also Jungkook’s and Somi’s. And we can prove it.”
Jimin spoke loudly as his eyes shifted to the Jeons. “I have the DNA test results in this flash drive as well. Not to mention her own testimony, of how you treated her and took away her children. Leaving her to die after.” Taehyung added, slowly making his way toward the woman.
“There's nothing you can hide that we haven't already found.” This time the one to speak up was Mr. Kim, he was staring intensely at the Jeons. “We won't allow you to hurt anyone else.” Mrs. Kim placed her phone to her ear, “Come in.” The doors burst open
and dozens of police officers along with some detectives walked in. Jungkook watched as half of the wedding guests were being arrested, including his parents and Mr.Yang. He watched in horror at how many people were actually involved with such a heinous crime.
People he thought were good and he had known his entire life. He heard his parents' protests, watching them try to fight their way out of the hands of the police officers. His mother yelled at him for help, but Jungkook was frozen in place.
He was brought back to reality when he felt Somi run to him, hugging him tightly as she cried deeply against his chest. Jungkook wrapped his arms protectively around her, his own eyes filled with tears. “It's over, Somi.. they can't hurt you.” He whispered against her head
which made her choke out a sob. Jungkook watched as everyone else around them began to walk off to talk to someone else. Jimin stayed by his mother’s side, Taehyung was speaking to one of the detectives, the Kims were speaking to another one, Namjoon was speaking to a police
officer while his hyungs, Yoongi and Hoseok were talking to each other. Taehyung looked over at him, giving him a sad smile. Somi pulled away to look at Jungkook so the model shifted his focus to her. “What are you waiting for?” “What?” “Go to him.” She said softly,
completely pulling away from Jungkook, gently wiping her cheeks. “Go.” Jungkook looked over at Taehyung who was looking back at him, he let out a shaky breath before he took off. He ran to Taehyung who immediately held his arms open for Jungkook.
The model basically crashed into him, wrapping his arms tightly around the man he loved. Taehyung’s arms were securely around his waist and Jungkook had never felt more at home. “It's over, darling. You're free.” Taehyung said as he placed a kiss on Jungkook's forehead.
Jungkook smiled with tears running down his cheeks. “I love you, Taehyung.” The CEO chuckled softly and brought his hand up to cup Jungkook’s cheek. “And I love you, Jungkook.” If the two shared a kiss, filled with love and want, it was no one’s business.
Well, no one’s business but the media that is.
by the way- i'm not moving accounts anymore, i thought i could but i have attachment issues and i can't find it in me to leave this account so if you happened to follow the other one you can unfollow it's okay 🤍
Jungkook watched as everyone danced and had the time of their life. They were at what would've been the wedding reception, it would've been done to let it all go to waste. He looked around, watching how Hoseok and Yoongi danced together, he was sure there was something there.
Jimin was trying to talk Namjoon into dancing with him, he wasn't failing per se, but it wasn't easy either. Somi had dragged Taehyung onto the dance floor as soon as she got the chance, and hadn't let him go. The Kims were talking to a few of their friends about the entire
situation, and how they had helped the Seoul police department catch the Jeons. And as for Seokjin and Seulgi, they left the country. No one knows where to, they just wanted to be as far away from everything as they could. He sighed as he looked down at the glass of whiskey
in his hand. “Is this seat taken?” The model looked up, his breath hitching when he noticed who was the person asking. “N-No, it's not taken.” The woman smiled a bit and sat next to Jungkook, he couldn't help but stare at her and see how similar Somi was to her.
She took her time before slowly turning to look at him. “I always wondered when I would get to see you again.” She said and he could barely hear her over the music but she was close enough either way. “I'm glad they didn't change your name.”
Jungkook looked away, down to his hands. “You named me?” She hummed in confirmation, “I did. I named you all.” It got quiet, Jungkook not knowing what to say. What could he possibly say to his biological mother he is meeting for the first time?
“You look like your father.” This caught his attention, he looked at her with curious eyes. “Your brother doesn't look like him, you do though.” “Who is my father?” She gave him a sad smile, and he kind of regretted asking. tw// implied deäth and viölence
“Was he a bad man?” He found himself asking, but she shook her head. “No. He was much like me. Forced to do things he didn't want. We were a couple, when I got taken. And he did everything he could to save me. But it ended with him being forced to work for them or it
would cost me my life.” She looked up at Jungkook, tears in her eyes. “When they found out I was pregnant with your brother, they acted like they were going to take care of me and him. But as soon as I gave birth, they told me not to get attached.” Jungkook looked down at her
shaky hands and reached over to gently place his own over them. “I then had you, and your sister. All of you were taken from me. The circumstances of how I had you were not ideal, but I wouldn't change you three for anything in the world.”
“How did you escape? Or did they let you go?” Jungkook squeezed her hand, holding it as he was scared she'd disappear. “Your father and I ran away, found a way to escape. He was caught, however. I never heard from him again, and I knew I needed to protect myself as much as I
could or they would get me again.” She cried, making Jungkook reach over and gently wipe her cheeks. “I found your brother when he was 21, or it was more of him finding me. He kept me safe and when he told me about this plan, I was scared. I wasn't sure if I could face them.
But he told me you and Somi needed me, and I agreed.” She looked at Jungkook with so much care and love for someone who had never spent more than a few years with him. “I needed to protect you now, because I couldn't do it then.”
Jungkook cried and he leaned down to press his forehead against her hands. “If you’ll have me, I can try my best to be the mother I should've been.” “Thank you.. for everything you've done for me thus far. And, of course, I'd like to know what it is to have you around.”
He sniffled as he kept himself in the same position. The woman smiled to herself, pulling one of her hands away to pet his hair. Jungkook cried against his mother’s lap, while she pet his hair. In the middle of what would've been his wedding reception to a man he didn't love.
“Do you think he will be okay?” Taehyung’s eyes were on Jungkook and his mother when Jimin asked. His heart ached at the way his love was crying, but he knew he needed to give them time and space. “He's so strong, Jimin. I'm sure he’ll be okay.”
Taehyung turned to his best friend, giving him a small smile. “And so are you and Somi.” Jimin looked away from his best friend to look at Jungkook, “It's going to be a long and bumpy ride, but I know that in the end we will be the family eomma always wanted.”
Taehyung hummed, looking back over at the model and his mother, the woman was wiping his cheeks and pressing kisses to his forehead. “Why don't you take Somi over there? I'm sure she wants to know her just as much.” Jimin looked around for Somi, found her standing next to
Hoseok and Yoongi, eyeing Jungkook and their eomma. “Yeah, she seems curious.” Jimin mumbled, he gave Taehyung a final look before he walked over to his sister. Taehyung watched as Jimin spoke to her then led her over to their brother and mother.
He watched the small family talk, cry and laugh. There were a series of forehead kisses and hugs. They needed it, not knowing how much they were missing out on. “What are you going to do now?” Taehyung turned and saw Namjoon standing next to him, looking over at the family.
“You said you'd run away with him if this all went well. Are you still going to?” Taehyung looked over at the family and saw how much they needed one another, “I can't. He needs them, and I can't take him away from the family he just got.”
“Makes sense. What if he tells you he wants to though?” Taehyung smiled to himself and shook his head, “He wouldn't, he has waited for a family like that way too long. He would never run away with me.” “Are you saying he would never choose you?” Namjoon asked,
turning to his brother, his hands in his pockets. “I'm saying I’m not his first choice.” Namjoon let out a small chuckle, shaking his head at how delusional his brother was. “By the way, will hyung and noona be okay?” Taehyung asked,
looking at his brother who had been staring at him, “Yeah, they said they’ll reach out as soon as their baby is born. And they’ll come back once the trial is over. You know they want nothing to do with it.” “You didn't either.” Namjoon nodded and looked over at a certain
black haired model. “I didn't, but I've got a reason to now.” Taehyung smiled in amusement as his eyes shifted between his brother and best friend, “Are you finally going to make a move?” Namjoon grinned before he walked off toward Jimin. The CEO watched as his brother swooped
Jimin away, holding him delicately against him. It caught Jimin off guard, but he smiled when he noticed it was Namjoon. He noticed Namjoon say something, oh how he wished he could read lips. Then Jimin pulled him in for a kiss.
A kiss that caused Jungkook, Somi and a few people around them to clap and cheer. Taehyung decided he needed some fresh air so he stepped out onto the garden. Looking up at the night sky, he felt more at ease than he had in a really long time. “Are you okay?”
He turned to the voice, seeing his mother walk up to him. He smiled and nodded, “I'm okay eomma.” “You seem to have something in your mind. Care to share?” Taehyung laughed, shaking his head. “Just thinking about Jungkook.” “What about him, dear?” “What if he doesn't want me?"
“Now Kim Taehyung, where did you get that idea from?” She scolded, linking her arm with his. “He's got his family now, his real family. What if he realizes I’m not what he wants?” Taehyung mumbled, a small pout on his lips. “That boy went through hell and back just to be with
you. What kind of person would stick by someone so distant and cold with them, if they weren't in love?” Taehyung winced at his mother’s words, remembering the way he had treated Jungkook out of fear. “He kissed you today, Taehyung. In front of everyone, then went
ahead and told the whole world he’s yours. Why wouldn't he want to be with you?” Mrs. Kim asked, looking at her son expectantly. “I don't know eomma.” “Why don't you ask him yourself?” She asked, her voice soft and gentle. Taehyung looked up from where his gaze was on to
look at her. But noticed someone standing behind her, a few feet away. Jungkook gave him a little wave and a little smile, making Taehyung’s heart skip a beat. Mrs. Kim gave Taehyung a kiss on the cheek before walking away, to do the same to Jungkook.
She whispered something to him, that made the model blush, before walking back into the venue. “Hi.” Jungkook said quietly as he approached the elder. Taehyung took his time admiring how gorgeous Jungkook looked, despite the obvious evidence of him recently crying.
“Hi, are you okay?” Jungkook nodded, he looked over to one of the windows, seeing his sister, brother and eomma, giggling together. “I'm good.” Taehyung followed his gaze and smiled, “I'm glad.”
“I am missing something though.” Taehyung looked back at him quickly, Jungkook was already looking at him. “What are you missing?” “My Taehyungie. I need my boyfriend.” Taehyung let out an airy chuckle before he stepped closer to the model.
“I love you, Taehyung. I never stopped and knowing why you were always such a jerk makes sense. I can't blame you for being scared and for wanting to protect me and my career. I wish we would've talked about it though.” “Because you kept something from me for my protection and
it cost us our relationship. And I kept something from you, that even though it wasn't the reason for our breakup, I should've told you anyway.” Taehyung nodded and gently took Jungkook’s hand in his, “Do you still love me?” “I loved you from the moment you entered my office
wanting to be a model.” Jungkook chuckled and shook his head, “You're cheesy. Seriously though, do you?” “Of course I do. So fucking much.” “Then why are you sulking? I'm your boyfriend, remember? We got back together.” Taehyung let out a small gasp. “We did.”
Jungkook rolled his eyes and placed his free hand on Taehyung’s nape, “Idiot.” He mumbled before pulling Taehyung in for a kiss. The elder’s hands found home in the male's waist, kissing him as he's never done before. Wanting the younger to feel how much love he had for him.
And of course, his parents had forgotten to cancel the fireworks, so not only did they feel fireworks while their lips were connected, but there was an array of colors in the sky as well. Jungkook smiled against his lips as he pulled away to look up at the sky,
Taehyung kept his gaze on his boyfriend’s gorgeous face. He was looking at the fireworks anyway, in the reflection in the bright doe eyes looking out in amazement. Taehyung smiled to himself and held Jungkook close as they watched the fireworks.
Everyone else walked outside to watch along with them. Namjoon looked over at Taehyung, Jimin was clinging onto him. They winked at each other, before chuckling and looking down at their boyfriends.
