Why it's frustrating for female founders: we have a call with an investor & it concludes with him saying we're both beautiful. Not only is it condescending, but it's obvious we're not being taken seriously. I doubt my male counterpart's pitches end in a convo about his looks.

Granted I am a stunning 10/10 supermodel, but still...
^due to character limit I only told part of the story. In thinking more about it my co-founder & I agree that I should share more so y'all can understand why it was so frustrating. Had we been made to feel *respected* and taken seriously a comment on our physical appearances
likely wouldn't have phased us. But my co-founder was also told she's not "comfortable in her body," a hypothetical "if I put a man or the money to close your round in front of you" was given, & many more offensive comments were made.
Afterward we asked ourselves, "Would a man ever have to deal with that bullshit?" If there are men out there who have had their physical beauty + body type + and relationship status brought up in the same BUSINESS meeting then I stand corrected.

At the ripe age of 30 I created a Twitter so I can share my thoughts that nobody’s asking for. PA-C turned Co-founder of @try_fourplay. Multiple (Irish) exits.
