almost like that time they released their last traditionally animated movies in the worst weeks possible with terrible advertisment to justify not doing traditional animation or when they made that movie with an asian lead and released it in the worst weeks possible with terribl-
This movie came out today and is Disney's first film with a lead character being LGBTQ and it actually being part of the movies plot.
They have been barely advertising it until the last week
disney has always send movies out to fail that it doesnt feel like making because they can point and say "see it doesnt work" so they can keep remaking the same shit that preys on your nostalgia and they can predict what will make them money
to people who have seen treasure planet what is more likely? that it tanked bc it was bad or that disney was basically forced to honor an agreement with some of their most successful directors and then send that movie out to die out of spite
anyway rant over i hate the mouse and hope it will dissolve in lava
