It's a world where it is acceptable for alphas and omegas to choose partners to help them during their time of the month. Alpha Jungkook, after years of handling the pain of his ruts all by himself, finally decides to give it a shot too. #taekookauπŸ”ž [Minors DNI.]

There's just one condition – he isn't willing to keep any emotional connections with the omega who wants to step up. All he can do is be there during their heat in return. That's it. Omega Taehyung, desperate for a partner himself, is willing to accept all of his conditions.
And we all know how that's going to go. But which one of them falls first? (Feel free to guess!)
– Alpha JK x Omega TH. – University students TK. – Strangers to lovers. – Angst. – Obviously, NSFW. Minors DO NOT read or interact and DO NOT follow me. – Interest poll!
I will be posting the first part now! Please interact! :)

"I don't understand, Jimin." Taehyung says, voice devoid of any hope. "Why won't anyone pair up with me? I've been trying for months. Is something wrong with–" "Hey!" Jimin stands up and yells, pointing a finger at Taehyung angrily. "You better not complete that sentence."
Taehyung sighs. "I can't help but think that way. Why else is nobody willing to even give me a chance?" "Because, look at you!" Jimin says, as if it should be obvious. "Everyone is worried you might be out of their league, Tae."
Taehyung considers his answer for a while, before shaking his head. "No, that can't be it." Jimin sighs. "Tae, come on–" "It's painful. Month after month." Taehyung says. "Those few days. It hurts like hell. I need an alpha. I'm desperate." Jimin sighs again.
He comes to sit beside Taehyung, and engulfs him in a warm hug. "Tae, you'll find someone. And when you do, you'll find the best. I promise." Taehyung nods. "I don't even want to mate with them. I'll let them go when..." Jimin looks at him. "Stop lying."
"What?" Taehyung asks. "That's how it works, anyway." "No. That's how it's supposed to work." Jimin says. "Most people end up mating with their rut or heat partners anyway." Taehyung sighs. "Okay, fine, I lied. I am desperate for love, as well."
Just then, Taehyung's eyes fall on someone in the distance, probably putting up an advertisement on the separate bulletin board reserved for searching partners. Taehyung's eyes go wide. "Jimin, look! Someone's in search of a partner!"
They can only see the person's back from where they are, and they stand up and start advancing towards the board slowly. Jimin whispers to Taehyung. "Do you think he's an alpha?" Taehyung nods. "Smells like one."
The person moves away, and Jimin and Taehyung at once rush to the bulletin board. Taehyung pulls out a pen and jots down the number at the speed of light, while Jimin reads out what's written.
"Jeon Jungkook, 23 years old, alpha. In search of an omega partner to help during my ruts. In return, I am willing to return the favor during your heat. Just one condition. No romantic involvement, please. If you're interested, please contact me here."
Taehyung's hand stops when he hears the condition, but he pretends that it's okay, and continues to write. "Considering how desperate I am, I think I can work with it." Taehyung says, and pulls the paper off the bulletin board before anyone else sees it and contacts Jungkook.

Taehyung shuts the door of his dorm room, showers and changes, and sits down on his bed. Phone in his hand, he begins to craft the perfect text message to send Jungkook.
Taehyung feels his eyes widening, as he stares at the pictures Jungkook just sent him. He was hoping for someone cute, but this is just beyond his imagination. A hand flies up to cover his mouth.
Taehyung is so shocked that he starts blowing Jimin's phone up with messages, panicking. How is he going to go through with this without falling for Jungkook? Taehyung doesn't even realise that he is yet to respond to Jungkook.
Taehyung already starts to panic, heart throbbing against his ribcage. He thinks of a million excuses because he is simply not ready. But before he can say anything, Jungkook is already sending him more texts. Taehyung reads them, and whispers to himself. "Oh."
[ A/N : After that, Taehyung's phone slides out of his hands and falls on his face. I hope you liked the first update, and I'd love to hear your thoughts so far. Thank you so much for reading, good night! ]
Hi, updating now! Minors DO NOT read or interact and DO NOT follow me! πŸ”žπŸ”ž The rest of you, happy reading!
Taehyung's phone falls from his hand, slipping down the side of his face onto the bed. He sighs, throwing his head back and closing his eyes. Rubbing his face where the phone just hit it, he whispers to himself. "He's making me feel unwell."
Taehyung looks around his room. It's quite messy – it's not that bad, and not dirty, but a lot of things are out of order. It doesn't exactly set the mood for the kind of plans they have. And neither does Taehyung want to have him over when his room looks like this.
β€”β€”β€”β€” πŸŒ™ Part IIIπŸŒ™ β€”β€”β€”β€”
Taehyung knocks. Carrying his backpack and freaking out wondering if he's looking alright, he waits for Jungkook to open the door. They're about to meet in person, and that does nothing to calm his nerves, either.
He did pack an extra set of clothes to sleep in, and his toiletries and a towel along with some other stuff. But he's worried about his outfit. Not only is it fancy, but it's also– "Oh, you're here." The door swings open, a gentle voice greeting Taehyung, and he looks up.
And well, fuck. Jungkook stands there, just as tall as him but better built with his black t-shirt streching against his chest. He has a baseball cap on, and even just the glimpse of his smile and the ring on his bottom lip are enough to make Taehyung weak in the knees.
Jungkook's eyes seem to zoom in on hin. "Hyung?" Hyung. Taehyung can't do this anymore. "Uhh, yeah, I'm–" Taehyung begins. "Come in." Jungkook chuckles, and even the sound of that is like music. "What are you standing outside for?"
And Taehyung walks in, hating how nervous and infatuated he is, while Jungkook seems unfazed. But just then, Jungkook speaks from behind him. "Wow, you're even more stunning in person." Jungkook teases. "Don't know how long I can go just talking and not doing anything."
Taehyung freezes, a blush creeping up his cheek. He doesn't think he can even look at Jungkook, but he wants it just as much. Taehyung nervously laughs, not even turning around. "You can...start. When you want to. You have my permission."
Jungkook chuckles softly, and Taehyung hears him walk up to him. "I was kidding. Not about the stunning part, though. I mean, I'd love to talk and get to know you first. But it's good to know that I have your permission." Jungkook says. "You have mine, too. Start when you want."
Taehyung nods, heart fluttering. He feels something strange in his stomach. "Okay." "But first." Jungkook takes a few more steps to walk around him, stopping when he's in front of him. "Let me at least look at you properly. Why are you facing the other way? Look at me, hyung."
And then, Taehyung has no choice but to turn a little, and look up. And when their eyes meet, it's Taehyung who lets out a gasp first. Jungkook's eyes are big and beautiful. They're hidden in the shadow of his cap, bit up close, he can see them properly.
And now Taehyung did notice the faint musky scent when he first saw Jungkook earlier in the morning, and even when he entered his room, but now that Jungkook is so close, it's intense. Enticing. Intoxicating. Taehyung feels a little light-headed.
He's so distracted by the smell that he doesn't even notice the way Jungkook's eyes roam all over his face. "You have nice eyes." Jungkook says. "Eye contact is going to feel better than I was hoping. Pictures don't do you justice."
Taehyung doesn't even know how to respond to that, especially now that they're face to face. He stands there, wide-eyed and speechless. Jungkook smiles as he turns around. "By the way, I already ordered food for both of us. I hope you like ramyeon and pizza."
When Jungkook turns around, Taehyung gets an unobstructed view of his back as it tapers down into his tiny waist, and then curves down to his ass. Taehyung lets out a breath, eyes tracing lines along Jungkook's body. "Yes. I absolutely love all of that."
"Please sit." Jungkook says. Taehyung sits down on his bed, and now, they're facing each other again. And then, Taehyung says what's been on his mind for a bit. "For someone who doesn't want any romantic connections, you're quite the romantic."
Jungkook smiles as he sets up a mini table on the bed. Then, he puts coasters on them, and then, plates. Then, he neatly plates the food, and disposes the boxes into a dustbin. Taehyung then looks around once more and realises that everything is so... clean.
There's not a single wrinkle on the bedsheet, and nothing looks out of place. Now that he thinks about it, he did the right thing not inviting Jungkook over to his place instead.
Jungkook finally sits down, and pushes a plate towards Taehyung. Then, he starts speaking. "I get that a lot. Which is why I wanted to be clear about my intentions." He says, digging his chopsticks into the ramyeon. "People often mistake me being nice for something else."
Taehyung's heart drops a little at those words, but he tries to not let it show on his face by stuffing some ramyeon into his mouth. If he eats, Jungkook won't be able to see the way his face just fell a little.
It catches him off guard, because yes – Jungkook has only been nice to him so far. And perhaps, it was giving him hope. But Taehyung walked into this knowing what it entailed, so he shakes the thoughts off. It's okay.
"I mean..." Jungkook says, as he draws a slice of pizza onto his plate too. "I just am this way. I don't know. If you don't like it, you're always free to go. I will understand." Taehyung shakes his head. "No, I get it. But... If it's okay to ask... Why don't you...?"
"Want a relationship?" Jungkook finishes his sentence. Taehyung nods. Jungkook shrugs, but his expression is a little serious now. "Because relationships invite a lot of expectations. And where there's expectations, there's bound to be hurt."
Taehyung takes another bite of his food, trying to digest Jungkook's words. If he presses any further, Jungkook might think Taehyung is in it for more than just what the plan is. So, he just nods. "I see. That makes sense."
"And about the compliments–" Jungkook says, sounding a little more cheerful. "It's not my fault that you're so handsome. I know how to appreciate beauty and I'm expressive about it." At that, Taehyung's shoulders relax a bit. Maybe he should stop overthinking. "Stop it..."
"What?" Jungkook laughs now. "I meant them." Taehyung keeps looking at his plate, drawing shapes with his chopsticks as he blushes. "You're... You're handsome, too." Jungkook chuckles. "Are you sure you're okay with eye contact?" He teases Taehyung.
Taehyung lets out a low chuckle. "Thanks for saying all of that. I spent the better part of the last few months thinking something was wrong with my appearance." Jungkook frowns. "Why?" "Because..." Taehyung looks down. "Nobody would pair up with me."
"Well, they had to be fools not to." Jungkook says, voice gentle. "And you have to be a fool to believe that something is wrong with you." Taehyung smiles wistfully. "Thank you, Jungkook. I appreciate it." "Besides, their loss is my gain." Jungkook teases. "Isn't it?"
"Actually..." Taehyung looks up, smiling sheepishly. "I was so desperate for a partner that when I saw your ad, I took it down after noting your number. I didn't want to lose out on you as well. Please don't think I'm weird." Jungkook stares, surprised, but then chuckles.
He shakes his head, as he picks up his plate and neatly puts it into the dishwasher he has in the mini kitchen in one corner of his room. He does it for Taehyung too once he's done eating. "That's surprising." Jungkook finally says. "I wouldn't have thought so."
"I still have it!" Taehyung starts blabbering. "I can put it back if you want." "No! Why?" Jungkook laughs. "I have you now."
"Right." Taehyung says. "Sorry." Jungkook shakes his head. "It's alright. It's not a big deal. I also have ice-cream in my fridge. Do you want some?" Taehyung nods, eyes sparkling. Jungkook gets up, and brings him some in a bowl.
They settle down, then, talking some more over ice-cream. Taehyung feels nervous, and one point, he uses hand gestures so much that the ice cream on the spoon in his hand flies over to Jungkook's shirt. Taehyung stares in shock, and accidentally drops some on himself, too.
"Oh, shit. I'm so sorry." Taehyung panics. This is not going well. "I'm just... I'll clean it for you. Please–" "Relax..." Jungkook grabs his t-shirt and pulls it away from his body, looking at the ice cream blob on it. "It's okay, calm down."
And before Taehyung has the chance to respond, Jungkook is getting up and walking around the bed towards his bathroom. And on his way to the bathroom, he puts his cap away and pulls his t-shirt over his head in one swift movement, his upper body now bare.
Taehyung can't even stop himself as his hands come up to cover his mouth, eyes fixed on Jungkook's perfectly toned body. The tattoos go right upto his shoulders, and Taehyung doesn't know how to stop looking. He might just pass out, he thinks.
And as if all of that isn't enough already, Jungkook dumps his t-shirt in the laundry bin and comes back to stand in front of Taehyung. He turns from side to side, offering a view of his body. "See. This is what you've got to work with. I hope it is to your liking."
Taehyung doesn't even hide how shy he feels. He looks down. And when he does, he notices that he's ruined his jacket as well as jeans. "You've got a shirt underneath right? Take the jacket off." Jungkook says. "And the pants– you brought extras, right?"
Taehyung nods and gets up, hurrying towards the bathroom. He spends a good five minutes in there as Jungkook cleans up, after which he gets curious. "You okay in there, hyung?" Jungkook asks.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Just–" Taehyung stops. After a brief pause, he speaks again. "Right now, I'm wearing something I thought you'd like but I'm feeling way too shy to come out." Jungkook smiles. "Don't be. What we're here for requires us to take clothes off anyway."
"This...I want you to take it off." Taehyung adds. "Okay, I'm stepping out." Jungkook sits down on the bed, leaning his weight backwards on his palms. "Okay, I'm waiting."
Taehyung steps out, eyes lowered as he walks over to come stand in front of a wall. He's wearing a sheer black full-sleeved polo shirt that goes down to his upper thighs and leaves little to the imagination. Underneath, there's black trunks. Nothing else.
He looks up then, but only to see Jungkook already looking at him. Suddenly, Taehyung feels like Jungkook's scent intensifies even more. He stands up as he checks Taehyung out. "You look... that looks great on you."
"Really?" Taehyung asks, curling in on himself against the wall. He feels naked, but he doesn't feel uncomfortable at all. Somehow, Jungkook's presence feels comforting. Jungkook steps closer. "Yeah. And, um, looks easy to take off, too."
Jungkook keeps stepping closer, and his scent completely engulfs Taehyung. He can feel himself starting to get wet already. Jungkook stops when they're merely inches apart. "I have been wanting to say this since you stepped in, but I really like your scent."
Taehyung tries to maintain eye contact. "Yeah? What do I smell like?" "Lavender." Jungkook says, eyes closing in on Taehyung's face. "You're turned on, aren't you? It's intense." "S-so is yours." "Yeah." Jungkook says. "Because I am turned on, too."
Taehyung keeps staring wordlessly, hands itching to touch Jungkook. So, he does. He cups Jungkook's face, steps forward, and kisses him, pressing his lips against Jungkook's gently.
And immediately, he feels hands grabbing his waist, and Jungkook's body pushing against his until his back hits the wall as Jungkook returns the kiss with twice the enthusiasm. Taehyung feels it in every part of his body.
Jungkook pulls back gently, and looks at Taehyung's shirt. With another swift movement, he's pulling it over Taehyung's head and throwing it aside. He presses his forehead against Taehyung's head, then, and speaks. "I want everything off."
Taehyung nods and watches as Jungkook pulls down his trunks, and then pushes it down his legs. Taehyung's fingers nervously work Jungkook's pants open, lowering his underwear just enough.
Naked like that, Taehyung blushes even more. Jungkook leans in to kiss him again, this time, their bodies pressing up. The friction down there feels so good that Taehyung moans into Jungkook's mouth.
Then, Jungkook is hooking his forearms under Taehyung's thighs and lifting him up, pushing his body back towards the concrete. Taehyung gasps, and Jungkook breaks the kiss. "So." He whispers. "Against the wall, then, hmm?"

β€”β€”β€”β€” πŸŒ™ Part IVπŸŒ™ β€”β€”β€”β€”
Taehyung stares at the ceiling, wide awake. Then, he turns his head to his side, and takes a good look at Jungkook. How is he supposed to not fall for this person? Taehyung gulps, tearing his eyes way from Jungkook's face.
He looks back at the ceiling, and shuts his eyes, memories of a few hours ago filling up his mind. A blush rises up his cheeks when the images flash in front of his eyes. Jungkook's sweaty face, the way he looked into Taehyung's eyes as he fucked him against the wall.
Even the way Jungkook held him – as if trying to protect him fiercely, makes Taehyung bite on his lower lip. Taehyung checks the clock – and it's just a little past 5 am. He doesn't need more reasons to fall for Jungkook, so maybe he should leave before he wakes up.
Taehyung slowly gets up, trying not to make a sound or any major movement that would wake Jungkook up. He slowly grabs the bag he brought with him the previous night, and his phone, and tries to tiptoe out, but Jungkook stirs in bed, and Taehyung freezes in place.
Jungkook mumbles something as he opens his eyes, and stares right at Taehyung from where he's lying down in bed. Jungkook looks extra cute and extra handsome in the morning as he wakes up, and this is exactly what Taehyung was trying to run away from.
"Hyung?" He asks, looking at Taehyung through heavily lidded, sleepy eyes. "I'm just–" Taehyung points at the door, and awkwardly chuckles. "Like, I should probably just go back. It's already 5 am!"
"Oh." Jungkook says and shuts his eyes, nodding as if he understands. Taehyung is about to say a goodbye, when he realises that Jungkook is getting up and grabbing a shirt too.
Taehyung stares. "Umm, aren't you sleepy anymore? I was just leaving..." "No, wait." Jungkook frowns as he runs his fingers through his hair and rubs his eyes. He stands up, then, facing Taehyung. "Yeah, now. Let's go."
Taehyung lets out another awkward laugh, heart hammering against his chest. "Let's go? Where?" "What?" Jungkook frowns. "I'm not going to let you go back alone. The least I could do is walk you. I already feel bad that you came here all by yourself."
This time, Taehyung chuckles because he's actually losing his mind right now. "J-jungkook, I can go back myself." "I know you can. I just..." Jungkook shrugs. "You're my guest. And my rut partner too, now. Please. It would be rude to let you go back all alone like this."
Taehyung has no choice but to nod, and step out with Jungkook. They don't talk on their way back – it's mostly Taehyung leading him to his dorm and Jungkook just following him, refusing to leave his side.
When they reach the dorm, Taehyung insists that he's going to be fine from there on. Mostly, it's because his room is still pretty messy. But Jungkook counters it by saying, what's a few more steps?
Jimin is rubbing his eyes, holding his electric toothbrush in place in his mouth, when he notices Taehyung walking towards his room, followed by a very sleepy, but very handsome Jungkook. Jimin's eyes grow to the size of tennis balls, as he throws Taehyung a questioning glance.
Taehyung just shrugs as he approaches his door, and Jimin steps back towards his own, acting like he isn't looking. "Here?" Jungkook asks, and looks around, and Taehyung shows him his door. "Oh, okay. Take care, then?"
Taehyung smiles, and nods. "You too. I'll just–" His words are cut off when Jungkook steps forward and pulls him into a quick hug, patting his back twice before pulling back. "I'll head back now, hyung. Have a nice day."
Taehyung watches Jungkook walk away, heart on his chest as he tries to calm himself down. Jimin walks back up to him and joins him, watching Jungkook's retreating figure. "But... didn't he say he doesn't want any romantic relations?"
Taehyung sighs. "That's right." "What was that then?" Jimin looks at Taehyung and chuckles. "Oh! Did he fall for your stunning good looks? I knew it."
"No. This is just him being nice. It's just the way he is, I guess." Taehyung says, staring into the distance as Jungkook disappears out of sight. "Yoongi hyung walks me home, too." Jimin says. "Just like this. Every single time."
"Okay, you need to get back to your room right now." Taehyung says, turning Jimin around and gently pushing him in the direction of his room. Taehyung is biting back a smile at the words, because Yoongi and Jimin are dating. But it also makes him a little sad. He sighs.
As Jimin goes back to his room, Taehyung locks the door of his own from inside, and dives straight into bed. There are too many thoughts to process, and Taehyung just wants to go to sleep. But of course, he can't.
Why must Jungkook be the perfect embodiment of what a dream boyfriend would be? Why can't he just be an average person who doesn't make Taehyung pin any hopes onto them? Taehyung groans, burying his face into his pillow.
He doesn't want to have his heart broken, but he also doesn't want to stay away. Taehyung is way too attracted to him, and also, he starts his heat soon. Taehyung needs Jungkook.
Taehyung sighs, as sleep does eventually find him. And maybe he dreams of a certain glittery eyed alpha with the most beautiful smile he's ever seen.
β€”β€”β€”β€” πŸŒ™ Part VπŸŒ™ β€”β€”β€”β€”
They don't text each other the whole day – there doesn't arise a need to. Besides, Taehyung doesn't want to come off as too clingy. It's also better for him if he tries not to get too attached to Jungkook, he thinks.
But the next day, Taehyung starts getting the urge to see him again. Maybe talk to him a little. Hang out for a bit. Maybe get a whiff of his beautiful scent once again. There's this yearning in his chest he can't quite subdue.
"Are you sure you don't want to go?" Jimin asks Taehyung again. "Will you be okay all alone? It's going to be boring." "I'm sure, Jimin." Taehyung nods. "I'd rather stare at the ceiling the whole day than third wheel while out with you and Yoongi hyung."
Jimin rolls his eyes. "Fine. But if you need anything, text me, okay?" Taehyung gives Jimin a hug. "Will do. Enjoy." Jimin waves goodbye and leaves, and Taehyung waits until he's out of sight. Then, he shuts the door, and grabs his phone.
Taehyung pulls up Jungkook's chat window, and stares at the messages. A part of him nags at him to just ask Jungkook to hang out with him. But a greater part of him is freaking out. What would Jungkook think?
But then again, Jungkook did mention the prospect of being friends. And Taehyung just wants to hang out. He doesn't want to see Jungkook just because they had mind blowing sex. Hanging out is just a friendly activity, nothing else.
So Taehyung lets out a sigh, and types out a text message with sweaty fingers. He presses send, heart in his mouth, hoping Jungkook doesn't mind. Taehyung doesn't want to fuck up the rapport they share so far.
It hurts. Taehyung's whole body hurts. His heat is a day early, and it's so intense this time that he almost falls unconscious from the pain. His phone is lying on the other end of the bed, and he lacks the energy to even pick it up. Jungkook is busy, anyway.
Taehyung's mind is too clouded too even consider texting Jungkook and letting him know that he's started his heat. His omega just wants Jungkook close, now that he knows what it feels like. Jungkook is the only person that can get him through it. And yet, Taehyung doesn't move.
Curled up in one corner of the bed, Taehyung tries to fall asleep so the pain subsides a little for the time being. The constant vibration of his phone goes undetected because the pain is so overwhelming, Taehyung can't even focus on anything else.
But a few minutes later, when the pain lessens just a bit, Taehyung manages to get up. The first thing he does is grab some pain medication and water. And then, he quickly checks his phone. All the missed messages from Jungkook make Taehyung want to tell him immediately.
But as he types the sentences, it sounds a little selfish. Even if this is the whole reason they got to know each other. Taehyung sighs, contemplating if he should text Jungkook about his heat.
He can wait until Jungkook gets back, too, but he doesn't know how long it's going to be. The pain is already returning in full force, and Taehyung doesn't know how much longer he can endure it without an alpha by his side.
Should Taehyung text Jungkook right now, or wait until he gets back?
[ A/N : I hope you enjoyed today's update. Please let me know your thoughts! Good night. Thank you so much for reading! ]
Taehyung gasps at his phone, glancing at the door. Is Jungkook really on the other side of it? Taehyung puts his phone aside and climbs off the bed, rushing to the door to open it.
Taehyung turns the doorknob and pulls the door open, and there Jungkook is. Looking up from his phone screen, all dressed up, with a bag full of snacks in one hand and a bundle of clothes in the other. He looks so handsome that Taehyung feels his heartbeat accelerate.
And then, there's Jungkook's scent that hits him at the same time. Taehyung is already on his heat, and Jungkook's scent just makes him lose it – it's intoxicating.
"Hyung." Jungkook says. "Umm, can I come in?" Taehyung snaps out of the trance Jungkook just put him into. "Oh." He says. "Sorry. Yeah, of course. Come on in."
"How are you feeling?" Jungkook asks as he steps inside, eyeing Taehyung up and down and taking in his scent too. Taehyung smiles. "Hanging in there. Come. How did you... know?"
Jungkook shrugs, placing the bag of snacks down on the nightstand, as he looks around the room. "Your heat was around the corner...so I just took a guess." He says, as he puts most of the clothes on Taehyung's bed.
Jungkook then turns to face Taehyung, and starts to walk towards him with a hoodie in his hand. When he comes and stands in front of Taehyung, he puts the hoodie around him, and helps him put his arms into the sleeves. "You smell nice, hyung. Does it hurt a lot?"
Taehyung is already blushing hard from the gesture, and doesn't even know how to respond. He just keeps looking up at Jungkook, his omega already starting to overtake him. Jungkook cups his face, and smiles. "Either way, I'm here now. Let's hope I can take care of you well."
Taehyung's arms slowly fly up to land on Jungkook's chest, his eyes big and glossy. "Jungkook..." "Yeah?" Jungkook says, looking at Taehyung's hands on his chest, and back at him. "Do you want to lie down?"
[ A/N : Please don't QRT the tweets of the AU if you're on private. There's someone already doing it even though I already talked about it. ]
Taehyung nods, looking into Jungkook's eyes and wrapping his arms around his neck. "You're so handsome." Jungkook softly chuckles, wrapping his arms around Taehyung's waist, and lifting him up until his legs wrap around Jungkook's body. "Let's get you to bed."
As Jungkook walks to the bed and tries to put Taehyung down, Taehyung hangs on to him, frowning and refusing to let go. "No." He says. "I don't want to get off."
Jungkook fondly stares at him, unable to keep the smile off his face because Taehyung is getting so adorable. It must be his omega, he thinks. "Does your heat always make you this cute?" Jungkook asks.
"I don't know." Taehyung pouts, bringing his hands up to cup Jungkook's face, and press a kiss to his nose. "But I'm sure you are always this handsome." Jungkook blinks, not expecting the kiss, but then chuckles, returning it to Taehyung's cheek. "Thank you, I'm flattered."
Taehyung continues the kissing, pressing one to Jungkook's jaw this time. "Do you really think I'm beautiful?" "Think? I can see it." Jungkook softly chuckles. "You're very beautiful."
"Mhm." Taehyung whispers, moving his lips closer to Jungkook's now, his omega completely taking over. "Kiss me." And Jungkook smiles at him, before doing exactly that. Softly and gently, he presses a kiss to Taehyung's lips, lowering him towards the bed.
Even before Taehyung can lie down, he starts to grab the buttons of Jungkook's shirt, attempting to unbutton it. Jungkook smiles into the kiss. "Whoa, whoa! Easy. You're going to have me all to yourself tonight, relax."
"No. Every night." Taehyung works his way down Jungkook's shirt, parting it to bare his chest. "Wow, muscles." "Yeah, you... Like muscles?" Jungkook helps Taehyung by taking his shirt off. "Yes." Taehyung squeezes Jungkook's biceps. "Yeah, I can tell."
"I want you." Taehyung whispers against Jungkook's lips. "I want you so bad." Jungkook bites his lips, the words making his own alpha feel some kind of way. "Okay. Is your pain a little better now?"
"Pain?" Taehyung asks, because he had almost forgotten – with Jungkook so close, most of the discomfort has already left his body. Jungkook presses a kiss to Taehyung's neck, and traces the skin down to his collarbones with his lips. "Okay, so I'm helping."
Jungkook pulls back, and looks at Taehyung's face. He notices the contours of his nose, the thick, dark lashes, and the moles scattered all over his face. The inviting, plush lips. Jungkook gulps. He feels an intense need to protect, and wonders if it's just his alpha talking.
For a second, he freezes. It must be the alpha talking. It has to be. Taehyung's omega must be bringing this out of him.
Jungkook shakes the thoughts off, focusing on the responsibility at hand. He's here to take care of Taehyung during his heat, and he's going to do exactly that. Taehyung tugs on his neck, bringing him closer just then. "What are you waiting for?"Taehyung whines.
And Jungkook doesn't stop to think anymore, and just goes for what he feels like doing. "I'm going to take your clothes off now." He lifts Taehyung's shirt, and presses a kiss to his navel, before looking up at him. "Okay?"
Taehyung nods. "But I want to keep your hoodie on." "Fuck..." Jungkook whispers and smiles, before answering. "Okay." He hooks his fingers into the waistband of Taehyung's shorts, and pulls it down until Taehyung kicks it off himself. Then, he pushes Taehyung's t-shirt up.
Jungkook runs his palm down the centre of Taehyung's chest, until he reaches his belly button. Then, he takes one look down below, and curses again. "Fuck, there's so much slick." "Come closer." Taehyung whines. "It hurts." Something possesses Jungkook to immediately comply.
β€”β€”β€”β€” πŸŒ™ Part VIπŸŒ™ β€”β€”β€”β€”
Jungkook gently tucks the last of his clothes around Taehyung as he sleeps, making a whole nest of his clothes around the omega. Taehyung clings to it even in his sleep, burying his nose to take in as much of Jungkook's scent as possible.
Jungkook stands by the bed then, and looks at Taehyung. Taehyung is no doubt very attractive – and of course Jungkook feels the physical attraction towards him. But he doesn't understand the instincts he felt that were beyond physical attraction. He feels a little confused.
Is it because Taehyung was on his heat and needed that care, that Jungkook felt the need to? Was it just his alpha being an alpha and wanting to protect an omega? Was it just... His own emotions? Jungkook bites his lips, his heart beating a little erratically.
Jungkook has guarded his heart for so long, and he's never felt much once the act was done. He's used to taking care of people after sex – that's just basic courtesy, but with Taehyung... It just feels so personal, and it's scaring him a little.
About now, Jeon Jungkook should put himself in check. He should reconsider this whole arrangement, and tell Taehyung that they should probably stop. Maybe Jungkook should just spend his ruts alone like he always has.
But how can he do that? He can already imagine the look on Taehyung's face if he said that to him, and he doesn't want to see Taehyung that way. And what's most strange of all, is that he himself doesn't want to stop. He doesn't mind seeing Taehyung again.
Taehyung mumbled a few words right before he fell asleep, and Jungkook just can't get them out of his mind. "You're going to be here when I wake up, right?" Taehyung had asked. Jungkook sighs. Because yes, he will be, and because he wants to. He doesn't want to leave.
He's going to be here until all of Taehyung's pain is gone. He's going to help him through the entirety of his heat. Jungkook sits down by the edge of the bed, and reaches his hand out to caress Taehyung's cheek with his knuckles – because he really wants to.
Taehyung moves a little, and then, brings his hand up to enclose Jungkook's fist – and wow, his hands are so pretty. Jungkook is fixated even on the little details all of a sudden, and it's making his head spin.
Jungkook freezes then, as Taehyung opens his eyes and looks straight at him. "You're still here." Taehyung mumbles. "Thank you, Jungkook. You literally took all the pain away." Jungkook smiles. "That's what I'm here for, hyung." He says, throat drying up a little.
Taehyung smiles, his eyes closing again. "And after that, we'll see each other again when you get your rut." Jungkook doesn't say anything. "Right?" Taehyung opens his eyes. Jungkook takes a deep breath. "Actually..."
Taehyung gives Jungkook all of his attention, eyes widening, and heart beating a little faster in his chest. "Yeah?" "I was thinking..." Jungkook scratches the back of his neck. "Do you... maybe want to hang out before that too?"
β€”β€”β€”β€” πŸŒ™ Part VIπŸŒ™ β€”β€”β€”β€”
Taehyung stares at his phone, hands itching to send Jungkook a text. Something. Anything. Taehyung just wants to initiate a conversation. After Jungkook asked him to hang out, Taehyung's been brimming with excitement.
It's his second day of heat, and he's feeling slightly better. He's looking forward to see Jungkook again. Maybe Jungkook's going to come over, and they can spend more time together. This is dangerous territory, but Taehyung can't help it. He wants to be around Jungkook so much.
β€”β€”β€”β€” πŸŒ™ Part VIIIπŸŒ™ β€”β€”β€”β€”
Jungkook wonders if he just crossed the boundary into flirting territory. He wonders if it's okay – for him and for Taehyung. For them. For the rules he set in place himself.
As he stands outside Taehyung's door, he shakes the thoughts off. His heart is fluttering a little at the thought of seeing him again – Jungkook can't believe it. He knocks, and soon, Taehyung opens the door.
"Hi." Taehyung greets, looking like he's in a better condition than the previous day. "Hi." Jungkook says, eyes wide. He feels his heart beat a little faster than usual. "You're.... Dressed up?"
"Am I?" Taehyung nervously chuckles as he moves to the side to let Jungkook in. "Yeah, your outfit looks fancy." Jungkook smiles. "But it looks nice on you."
"Well, since I'm sick." Taehyung says. "I thought I should put some effort into dressing up to look a little better." "I think you look pretty even without makeup on, to be honest." Jungkook replies.
Taehyung blushes at that, and as soon as Jungkook turns around, he fixes his hair quickly, and shrugs his t-shirt off a little so that his collarbones are visible. Then, he follows Jungkook into the kitchen.
The kitchen is one small part of the dorm room, more like a corner where there's a counter for cooking, a mini fridge, and supplies. Jungkook rolls his sleeves up, and Taehyung thinks he's going to get sick again.
"So. What do you have?" Jungkook asks. "Ingredients?" "Uhm. Just basics. I have eggs, some meat, some veggies, ramyeon." Taehyung says. "Thank you. You didn't have to do this." Jungkook smiles. "It's okay." He says. "Go and lie down, please. And call me if you need me."
Taehyung sighs in defeat, arms crossed as he stands behind Jungkook. His plan was to stand here and maybe get closer, maybe look into his eyes and hope for the impossible. Rolling his eyes, he walks back to his bed. It's okay though, because he can still see Jungkook from there.
Taehyung gets on his phone then, lying down, and pretends not to look at Jungkook as he cooks. But sure enough, he steals glances. Looks at the alpha's body and his muscles flexing as he works, and takes in his intense scent that has now filled up Taehyung's room.
When Taehyung tries to steal a glance at Jungkook for a third time, he immediately blushes, caught off guard. Because Jungkook is already staring at him, looking over his shoulder, gaze intense. As soon as Taehyung makes eye contact, Jungkook looks away.
And Taehyung knows for a fact that it wasn't a look of just casually glancing at someone. He just saw something in the way Jungkook was looking at him that gives him a little hope, no matter how stupid that sounds. Taehyung's heartbeat accelerates.
Why did Jungkook look at him the way he imagined himself looking at Jungkook? Taehyung looks back at his phone, face flushed. Is there really a chance? Taehyung would love to find out, and he is suddenly not scared to take a risk.
He looks at Jungkook again, and sure enough, there's that gaze again. The unreadable, mysterious look in his eyes that's driving Taehyung crazy. And this time, Jungkook doesn't even look away. At least not until he realises he needs to pay attention to the food.
Taehyung sits up in bed, and he has to look away again and at his phone to not combust. "Why...are you looking at me like that?" Taehyung asks, mustering up the courage. His heart is beating so fast in his chest.
Jungkook turns around, and looks at him again, exactly the same way Taehyung means. Without breaking eye contact, Jungkook asks. "Like what?"
"You're doing it again." Taehyung says. Jungkook turns around to focus on cooking, and doesn't say anything. So, Taehyung gets off the bed, and starts to take slow, uncertain steps towards him.
He stops only when he's right behind Jungkook. Jungkook's head moves a little to the side, which tells Taehyung that he notices and acknowledges his presence.
And then, nervously and with a lot of uncertainty, Taehyung steps closer until their bodies are lightly pressed together. He leans his head against Jungkook's back, and wraps his arms around his waist.
Jungkook momentarily freezes, definitely not expecting that. But he doesn't push Taehyung away or react negatively. He just goes back to cooking peacefully, like what's happening is totally normal. So, Taehyung asks. "Is it okay for me to stay like this?"
After a few seconds of silence, Jungkook speaks. "Does it make you feel better? If it does, of course you can." "But..." Taehyung pauses, and chews on his lips, nervous. "What if I want to stay like this for no reason?"
Taehyung is so scared of hearing Jungkook's answer, that before he can even reply, Taehyung speaks up again. "C-can we talk?" Taehyung asks. "Just...some conversation. Like this?" Jungkook nods. "Okay, sure." Taehyung takes in a deep breath. "Do you think I'm a decent kisser?"
Jungkook nods. "Yeah. It's nice kissing you." "So... You kissing me?" "Yeah, why not? You've got nice lips." Taehyung nearly melts all over Jungkook. His legs also feel a little weak, just like jelly. Jungkook says all of it so nonchalantly.
"And... You know how we kiss right before and during sex." Taehyung says. "Mhm hmm." "And we have this whole thing of helping each other out during our time of the month." "Yeah..."
Taehyung's heart beats at the speed of light, as he gathers all his courage before speaking out the next words. "So...if it wasn't just because of that..." Taehyung asks. "Would you still kiss me, then?"
Jungkook doesn't say anything for a few seconds. Taehyung nervously holds his breath, almost certain that he's blown it. His plan backfired, and now, Jungkook is probably going to be annoyed. But after the silence, Jungkook speaks. "Did you dress up for me?"
Taehyung, obviously blushing furiously, just keeps leaning against Jungkook's back. How is he supposed to answer that? "You smell nice." Jungkook says then. "Really nice."
"You didn't answer my question..." Taehyung says nervously. At that, Jungkook turns around in Taehyung's hold, without disturbing the position of his arms much. He leans back against the counter, and stares into Taehyung's eyes.
Taehyung's heart is in his mouth, and he's almost certain that Jungkook is going to start saying stuff that's going to be hurtful to hear. "If that was out of line... Please ignore it." Taehyung says. "Let's pretend I didn't just ask you that. Sorry, Jungkook."
Jungkook gently curls his fingers around Taehyung's wrists, and brings them together in front of him. "To answer your question..." Jungkook says, head slightly tilted. "Do you want me to start kissing you all the time?"
"What if...." Taehyung looks down, unable to bear the intensity of Jungkook's gaze on him. "What if I did?" "Well, then." Jungkook shrugs, and tips Taehyung's chin upwards to make him meet his eyes. "Then I might start right now."
Taehyung gulps, the words shooting electricity through his veins, but he maintains eye contact. "And... What would that mean?" "You tell me. Why did you ask me about kissing you?" Jungkook asks, coming even closer, practically breathing the words out against his lips.
And Taehyung's eyes shut at the way Jungkook's breath feels against his lips, and at the proximity. "Why did you agree to?" Jungkook shrugs, cupping Taehyung's face, something strange in his eyes. "I... Don't know."
Taehyung's heart drops a little. "I see." "But I do know one thing." Jungkook says. "Hmm?" "That I really want to kiss you." Jungkook says. "Even if it's for no reason. And I don't know why that is."
The words make Taehyung's heart topple over, because while he doesn't know what to make of this situation between them, he is sure that he wants Jungkook, too. Before he can start to overthink, Taehyung leans further in and presses his lips to Jungkook's.
And Jungkook seems so attuned to him that he immediately reciprocates, doesn't even get startled. Like he had been waiting for it eagerly. He gently holds Taehyung's face in his hands as they kiss, and presses their bodies closer, if that's even possible.
The kiss gets heated very quickly, and at some point, Jungkook just lifts Taehyung up and turns them around to seat him on the kitchen counter. Taehyung wraps his legs around Jungkook's waist, not breaking the kiss even once.
When he does break the kiss, he presses his forehead to Jungkook's, and breathes out. "It's embarrassing." Taehyung says, panting. "How much I want you."
"It's probably more embarrassing for me." Jungkook says, fixing Taehyung's hair gently with his fingers. "Because I'm doing exactly what I request others not to do. I don't... I don't even know what I want." "It's okay." Taehyung says, but there's butterflies in his stomach.
"What do you want to do?" Jungkook says, burying his nose into Taehyung's neck. "You smell so good." His nose tickles Taehyung, and his hands automatically fly up to caress Jungkook's face. He doesn't know what they're doing either, but he isn't complaining. "You too."
"Do you want to watch a movie?" Jungkook asks, pulling Taehyung closer to pull him off the counter. Taehyung lands on the floor, but doesn't let go of Jungkook. "Okay. Can we cuddle?"
Jungkook smiles, leading him to the bed. Taehyung climbs into bed and lies down, waiting for Jungkook's next move. Jungkook takes off his hoodie, and hands it over first thing. "Take this. Hold it close until I finish cooking."
By the time Jungkook is done cooking for both of them, Taehyung has set up his laptop on his bed, browsing through some movies. "Would you enjoy watching romance?" "Why would you doubt that?" Jungkook teases, setting the bowls down on a table. "Am I not romantic enough?"
Taehyung shrugs, teasing. "You did say you were anti-romance, did you not?" Jungkook clears his throat. Maybe he's getting too carried away. "Uhh, taste this. Tell me how it is."
Taehyung takes one of the bowls from him, lifts a mouthful with chopsticks, and puts it into his mouth. He nods. "You cook really well. Boyfriend material, totally." Jungkook presses his lips together, because why are the words making him all tingly?
Jungkook has no idea why he's crossing all the boundaries he set in place himself, he has no idea why he's so overly expressive when he's with Taehyung. But he thinks it's got something to do with the omega, for sure.
They watch a movie, but Jungkook can't seem to focus at all. His eyes keep darting to Taehyung, his facial profile, his body, his beautiful hair, or even when he so much as shifts around in bed. It scares Jungkook a little, how he doesn't get tired of looking.
And not to mention, maybe he overshared his feelings a while ago in the mini kitchen. Why did he blurt all that stuff out? Maybe he gave away more of himself than he intended to, but it was like something came over him.
The gears start turning in his head, and his mind goes into overdrive. What if the words he said give Taehyung hope? Especially when Jungkook himself isn't sure how much he can offer. His own budding feelings aren't worth hurting someone. He sighs.
Taehyung notices, and immediately turns to look at him. "Are you okay?" He asks, taking in a mouthful of food and chewing. And his plush lips as they form a pout while he chews, along with his adorable full cheeks don't help. Jungkook sighs again, but eventually nods. "I am."
And when Taehyung looks convinced and turns to look at the screen again, Jungkook has a realisation that isn't exactly thrilling. "Fuck." He muttters soundlessly. "This is not good."
β€”β€”β€”β€” πŸŒ™ Part IXπŸŒ™ β€”β€”β€”β€”
Jungkook sits alone on a bench in the middle of the lawn, after he's done with class. His mind is plagued with worry and confusion. He had been willing to just let things go the way they were, but right now, he's a little wary.
He sips on some banana milk, brows drawn together in confusion. At this point, he hopes Taehyung forgets that Jungkook wanted them to hang out. Heck, he's even considering calling the whole arrangement off. What if he says something stupid during his rut?
As he sits there, overthinking, his phone buzzes in his other hand. He turns the screen over, and his heart does a backflip when he sees that Taehyung is texting him. Whether the feeling is good or bad, he isn't sure right now.
Jungkook stares at the screen, his chest feeling heavy. He doesn't want to turn Taehyung down – how can he? He hates the idea of hurting him. Especially him. Which is what scares Jungkook even more. What kind of feelings is he even harbouring in his heart for Taehyung?
Jungkook locks his phone, and unlike the tone of his messages, he himself feels very sad right now. Apart from not wanting to hurt Taehyung, he kind of wants to see him too. But he isn't sure if he made the right decision by allowing himself that.
It isn't long before he feels the intoxicating scent fill up his senses, followed by a gentle tap on his shoulders. "Hi!" Taehyung greets, smiling wide, as he sits down right next to Jungkook.
"Hey!" Jungkook says, genuinely surprised, because Taehyung came here faster than he expected for him to. Taehyung looks healthier today, glowing even. He's dressed in red, and is such a vision. And wait – maybe Jungkook should stop staring.
Taehyung notices him staring though, and his hand flies up to touch the part of his chest that's exposed because of his shirt's deep neckline. "Is it too revealing?" Taehyung asks, looking at his chest. "Inappropriate for campus?"
Jungkook is about to answer, but Taehyung really does talk a lot. "Actually, I wore a grey hoodie. But me and Jimin were hanging out and I spilled coffee on it." Taehyung explains. "Then I rushed to my room, and this was what I found first, so I put it on."
Jungkook looks at the shirt again, eyeing him up and down. Chewing on his lower lip, he asks Taehyung. "You had a fancy red satin shirt just... lying around?"
Taehyung just wordlessly sighs, and doesn't answer. What else is he supposed to do? Tell Jungkook the whole truth? That he was trying it on and planning to wear it the next time they meet in one of their dorm rooms?
"Is it...not good?" Taehyung asks. "What? No!" Jungkook immediately answers. "It looks so good on you. But anything looks good on you–" And then, Jungkook abruptly stops and turns to look the other way. He needs to tape his mouth up.
"Anyway." Taehyung says, trying not to blush. He reaches out and pinches Jungkook's cheek, taking him by surprise. "Why does Jungkookie look so sad? Tell me, I'll take care of it!" Jungkook is scared of the way his heart flutters at the words and at the touch. "I'm fine, hyung!"
"You don't look fine, though." Taehyung says, retracting his hand. "But it's okay, I won't push." Jungkook immediately feels bad about how Taehyung's smile drops. "Uhh I'm just– a little confused. About some... things."
"Come then." Taehyung grabs Jungkook's wrist and stands up, pulling on it. "Let's take a walk. You need some fresh air to be able to think clearly." Jungkook lets himself be pulled onto his feet. "Okay."
Taehyung walks slightly ahead of him, talking to Jungkook endlessly. Jungkook is content just listening – Taehyung has a way of telling random stories that's very interesting. His voice is so deep too, and Jungkook just enjoys listening.
As they walk through random areas of the campus, Jungkook hears stories ranging from things Taehyung and his best friend Jimin did that got them into trouble, to stories of Taehyung's most embarrassing moments. Jungkook doesn't want him to stop talking.
"I couldn't look that classmate in the eye for a whole month after that!" Taehyung laughs, throwing his head back. "Wait. You're so quiet. Your turn. Tell me anything you want." Jungkook gulps. "I don't have anything that interesting to share, hyung."
"That's not true." Taehyung narrows his eyes. "Really, tell me anything. It might help you relax and think things through better." Jungkook bites his lip. He shouldn't spoil Taehyung's mood. Sighing, he says. "So this one time, I switched the salt and sugar containers at home."
Jungkook doesn't even realise how one story branches off into the other as he narrates them to Taehyung. He completely loses track of time, both of them laughing as they sit by a table now, facing each other. For a moment, Jungkook forgets that he isn't supposed to enjoy this.
And Jungkook has never been too talkative. He doesn't open up too much to people except his closest friends. He doesn't consider himself the most entertaining person to be around. But seeing Taehyung laugh at the things he says like this, Jungkook feels better about himself.
It makes Jungkook want to keep making him laugh. It's addictive. He catches himself a few times, but finds that he really wants to just let things unfold for now. Maybe he can stop indulging himself from the next day on.
Taehyung is just so beautiful, so wonderful to listen to, and such delightful company, that Jungkook doesn't think it's his fault for wanting to spend more time around him. And the fact that he keeps complimenting Jungkook on the smallest of things? Jungkook sighs.
"That little scar on your cheeks." Taehyung had randomly brushed his fingers against it while they were walking. "It somehow makes you more beautiful, you know." Nobody's ever said that to Jungkook before.
"You've been staring at my chest a lot." Taehyung says, blushing himself, and pulls Jungkook out of his thoughts. "I know we kissed a lot for no reason the other day, but looking at me like that won't work." Taehyung teases. "What? I–" Jungkook begins, face flushing red.
"I'm kidding!" Taehyung throws his head back and laughs. "Look at your face." "Huh?" "I would totally kiss you again. For no reason." Taehyung says. Jungkook looks on, eyes wide, cheeks pink.
"But for now." Taehyung comes closer, gently holds Jungkook's face, and presses a kiss to the scar. "This is what I'll do. You're so beautiful." Jungkook just stands there, stunned, and his heart just slips further and further out of his control.
"Do you feel better than before?" Taehyung asks, taking Jungkook's hand. "Less confused?" Jungkook chuckles softly, gripping Taehyung's hand gently. "I have no idea, hyung."
β€”β€”β€”β€” πŸŒ™ Part XπŸŒ™ β€”β€”β€”β€”
Taehyung wonders if he went overboard. As he sits staring at his screen and biting his nails, he wonders if he was overly affectionate. Did it somehow turn Jungkook off?
Taehyung lies down on his bed, feeling anxious because he hates the idea of having fucked everything up. Jungkook is the only alpha he managed to find after looking for so long. If even he leaves, Taehyung wouldn't know how to handle that. A tear slips through his eye.
"Come on." He says, looking at his phone screen. "Text me back. Don't avoid me." His voice breaks a little, and he promises himself to keep his emotions in check the next time – if there's a next time at all.
And then, desperate to save whatever it is that he has with Jungkook, Taehyung thinks of the extremes. Would Jungkook be even more annoyed if he showed up to his room?
There's also a possibility that Jungkook might have started his rut and is in pain. Something similar happened when Taehyung started his heat, and Jungkook did show up to his dorm. Shouldn't Taehyung return the favor, then? That's what they're in this for, anyway.
Taehyung gets out of bed, and puts on a fresh shirt. He fixes his hair quickly, grabs his phone and keys, and dashes out of his dorm room. If this backfires, he'll at least know that he tried.
He's nervous the entire time as he walks to Jungkook's dorm building. Trying to calm himself by rubbing his hand over his chest, he enters the dorm. There's just scents of alphas all around, and it doesn't make him feel good like Jungkook's scent does.
He walks as fast as he can, and takes the elevator to Jungkook's floor. Before he even reaches Jungkook's dorm room, he is met with the intense, familiar scent. Perhaps Jungkook really is on his rut. Taehyung's heartbeat accelerates.
Taehyung has never been with an alpha on their rut. Heck, he's never even seen one on their rut. All he knows are stories he's heard – how the alpha takes over the person sometimes. It's similar to omegas with their heats, but Taehyung is still a little worried.
Taehyung takes careful steps, approaching Jungkook's room. But before he can even knock on the door, Jungkook opens the door, staring right at him like he knows Taehyung is here.
And Taehyung is startled, because Jungkook looks... different. Taehyung gulps, and licks his dry lips as he tries to take a step back. But just when he attempts to, Jungkook frowns, and Taehyung stops.
Jungkook's hair is all messed up, his eyes are red-rimmed and look tired, and there's something inside them Taehyung can't quite put a finger on. They're just... Different. It makes Taehyung wonder if Jungkook's alpha is in control right now.
With great courage, he lets his eyes take all of Jungkook in. Jungkook, who is always neat and put together, stands in front of him wearing a crumpled t-shirt, just boxers, and with a hard on. Taehyung doesn't know how to act in this situation.
Jungkook further opens the door, wordlessly staring at Taehyung as if it's the first time he's seeing him. Taehyung walks in, right past him, not saying a word either. Jungkook shuts the door and immediately turns to him.
And Taehyung has no idea what Jungkook is thinking, or what his next move will be. "I came just to check up on you." Taehyung starts blabbering. "I won't stay if you don't want me to. But it looks like you're... You're... Your rut. So, umm, should I stay–"
Taehyung's words are cut off when Jungkook comes closer, and gently wraps his arms around his waist. The scent is intense, and Taehyung is startled, but he immediately puts his arms around Jungkook too.
Jungkook hooks his chin on Taehyung's shoulder, rubbing his nose up and down the side of Taehyung's neck. "I missed you." Jungkook whispers against his neck, voice considerably lower and rapier than usual. "Where were you? I kept waiting and waiting."
Taehyung's eyes go wide, and he gets chills at how Jungkook's voice sounds. "You d-did? But your phone–" "You smell so good." Jungkook buries his nose further into Taehyung's neck, his strong body gently moving them towards his bed. "The best."
And Taehyung feels like he's going to melt, because how is Jungkook on his rut and still so sweet? He presses a kiss to Jungkook's cheek. "I'm here now."
"It hurts." Jungkook says, suddenly jerking in his steps and almost losing balance. "It hurts so much." And all Taehyung wants to do is take care of him. All of his previous thoughts just vanish into thin air.
Taehyung pulls Jungkook's t-shirt off over his head, and Jungkook lets him. The moment it's off, he gravitates back to Taehyung, leaning in towards his lips. Taehyung's heart flutters in his chest. "Kiss?" Jungkook hums, eyes fixated on Taehyung's lips. "It hurts so bad."
Taehyung can't hold it anymore, and cups Jungkook's face gently. He leans in, and gives Jungkook kisses after kisses. At some point, Jungkook bucks his hips against Taehyung's, and Taehyung knows that he probably can't hold it in anymore.
"Let me go get you some–" Taehyung only tries to move a little, but Jungkook cages him in with both his arms. "No, don't go. I'm your alpha." Jungkook whines, wrapping his arms around Taehyung's waist, and kissing his neck. "You're my omega. Please don't go anywhere."
[ A/N : This update was too long for me, but I hope you enjoyed reading. I wrote both the options of the poll, so I hope nobody's complaining anymore. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you! ]
Taehyung suddenly feels the room spin, as the words reach his ears – it takes time for them to sink in, and he only rubs Jungkook's nape with the pad of his fingers gently. "I'm..." Taehyung whispers. "I'm your omega?"
Jungkook hums into his neck, pressing soft kisses there still. "You're my alpha?" Taehyung asks, a little astonished. "Are you...sure?" Jungkook immediately pulls back, and looks at him with a frown between his eyebrows. "Why are you doubting your alpha?" He pouts.
The face he makes is so adorable, that for a moment, Taehyung wonders if sweet, gentle alphas like him actually exist or if he's conjuring this whole scenario up in his mind. Immediately, he pulls Jungkook back into a hug. "I'm not, I'm sorry. I trust you."
Upon hearing those words, Jungkook's body seems to relax a little, and his kisses become even more gentle. "I trust you too." Jungkook gently nibbles at the angle of Taehyung jaw. Then, his voice turns into a whisper. "You're so beautiful. My omega is the most beautiful."
Taehyung blushes furiously at that, feeling extremely shy. It makes his heart flutter to know that Jungkook's words are directed towards him. "Thank you." "You make the pain go away." Jungkook sighs, adjusting himself to face Taehyung. "I want to be closer to you."

Taehyung looks in between them, and they're already pressed up against each other with no space to spare. It makes him chuckle a little. "How do we get closer than this?" It's then that Jungkook's eyes turn a little dark, and there's a smirk on his lips. "Take your clothes off."
Taehyung's smile falters a little, a shiver running down his spine. His heart races in his chest, but he feels extremely turned on. "Why don't you do it for me?" Jungkook leans in and presses a kiss to his lips, while his hands start to work their way down Taehyung's buttons.
He pushes the shirt down Taehyung's arms, and whispers in his mouth. "I want you so bad, Taehyung." "Hey!" Taehyung chuckles, pressing a quick kiss to Jungkook's lips. "Does your alpha not know how to use honorifics, hmm?"
Jungkook doesn't seem to hear the words, and focuses on taking the rest of Taehyung's clothes off. Taehyung helps him out. Jungkook is soon helping Taehyung lie down, before hovering over his body. "Come closer."
Taehyung wraps his arms around Jungkook's back to pull him closer, after which, Jungkook spreads his legs apart with his hand. Even when his alpha has taken over, he seems to know what he's doing.
"What do you want, baby?" Taehyung says, the nickname slipping out without him realising it. When he does realise it, Jungkook seems to have already heard it. But he seems to like it, if the way he nuzzles his face into Taehyung's neck is anything to go by. "You. All of you."
Taehyung shuts his eyes, heart beating really fast in his chest. "I'm all yours, then." Jungkook brings his head up, and looks into Taehyung's eyes, his own glassy and more hazel than usual. "Can I...?"
Taehyung looks up at him, following his eyes. He cups Jungkook's face, and brings it closer. "What do you want to do?" Jungkook returns the gaze, pressing their foreheads together. "Want to be inside you." Taehyung nods. "Do it then." Jungkook smiles sweetly at that.
He reaches his fingers down without even looking, expertly touching Taehyung in the right place, making him throw his head back. "You're so wet." "What are you waiting for, then?" Taehyung whispers, and then looks up. "Do it. I want all of you too."
And so, Jungkook does. He pushes into Taehyung, filling him up, but not once does he stop kissing or caressing the omega. It's as if he's programmed to take care of him and make him feel good even when he's supposed to be relieving the discomfort and pain from his rut.
"How do you feel?" Taehyung manages to ask, even though he's feeling a little out of breath. "Good." Jungkook says, thrusting into him, while constantly leaving wet nibbles across Taehyung's neck and jaw. "I don't want to stop."
"You smell so good." Jungkook adds, before Taehyung can say anything else. "Why do you not stay here with me?" Taehyung sighs, wondering if Jungkook would ever say these things if it were not for his alpha. "I wish."
Eventually, Jungkook does get a little more rough, but Taehyung enjoys it a lot. His kisses turn into bites sometimes, and his grip on Taehyung's waist tightens, as if he's completely unwilling to let Taehyung go.
But Taehyung enjoys all of it. He loves the way his lips sting after the aggressive kissing, he loves how Jungkook leaves hickeys all over his chest and neck. Even if it hurts. He tells Jungkook how good it feels, encouraging him even more.
That is, until Jungkook tells him that he's close. The aggressiveness slowly fizzles out, and he's back to being gentle again. He pulls out just in time, but comes all over Taehyung's thighs. Taehyung isn't complaining at all.
"I'll get you all cleaned up, wait." Taehyung says, and tries to move a little. But Jungkook grabs his wrist again, frowning. "No. Don't go. Stay here."
Taehyung laughs, because never in his wildest dreams he would have imagined that Jungkook's alpha could be so clingy. "But we made a mess." Taehyung tells him, caressing his face. "I promise I'll stay. Just give me a few moments, please."
Albeit sulking, Jungkook lets go. "Don't take too long." Taehyung nods. "I promise."
Then, he goes looking for towels in Jungkook's bathroom. But even when he finds them and comes back, Taehyung has a hard time cleaning up because Jungkook keeps trying to cuddle, keeps trying to hug him, as if even a single moment apart from Taehyung offends him in some way.
Finally, when he's cleaned everything up and even changed the sheets and put his clothes back on, Taehyung comes back to Jungkook's bed. "Wear this." He holds up Jungkook's shirt, and Jungkook immediately comes to him, letting him put it on.
And when they're done, he pulls Taehyung into bed with him. "Sleep here with me. Don't go anywhere." Jungkook says, wrapping his arms around Taehyung. Taehyung squeezes his muscles, wondering what Jungkook eats to have that kind of strength. "Damn, you're strong."
"Oh." Jungkook releases his hold on him immediately. "Did I hurt you? Sorry. I'll be gentle." Taehyung thinks he could cry right now, as he shakes his head. "No, you didn't. Come here, let me hold you too." He says, and throws his arms out for Jungkook.
Jungkook slides into place, putting his head over Taehyung's chest, and his arms hold Taehyung by the waist in a gentle, but iron grip. Taehyung thinks this might be one of his best moments with Jungkook so far, as they both drift off to sleep.

Taehyung wakes up when sunlight starts filling Jungkook's dorm room, but he doesn't move. Jungkook is still holding onto him, and Taehyung wants to keep this feeling lingering for as long as possible. He gently caresses Jungkook's hair, smiling at him.
That's the only movement on his part – and that too, he stops, when Jungkook stirs. One eye open, Jungkook shifts a little in position, looking around himself and realising that he's holding Taehyung. He looks up to face him. "Hyung?"
Hyung. Yes, that's definitely not Jungkook's alpha speaking, Taehyung thinks to himself.
"Good morning." Taehyung attempts, trying to smile even though his heart is starting to feel a little heavy. "Morning." Jungkook looks confused for a second, before hos brows relax. "Oh. We had sex last night. On my rut."
Taehyung sits up a little, eyes wide. "You remember?" "Parts of it." Jungkook rubs his eyes. "Not everything. I do remember hurting a lot and that I put my phone away... You came in.. I don't remember most of it. Just bits."
"Are you okay now?" Taehyung asks. "Are you?" Jungkook chuckles. "I hope my alpha didn't hurt you. What is it like?" Taehyung smiles, and looks at Jungkook longingly. "Your alpha is the sweetest."
Saying so, Taehyung takes the risk and gently runs his fingers through Jungkook's hair. To his relief, Jungkook doesn't go still or question it. "Hmm." He says instead. "My alpha is sweet, you think. And what about me?"
Taehyung's heart flutters at that. "You're the sweetest, too." Jungkook smiles, satisfied, before he realises that he's still holding onto Taehyung. He suddenly sits up. "I'm sorry, hyung. I didn't realise I was still clinging onto you like that."
Taehyung hates how empty it suddenly feels now that Jungkook's weight is off of him. "I d-don't mind it..." But Jungkook is already climbing off the bed, and walking to the window to part the curtains. "Did I say anything stupid last night, hyung?"
Taehyung hums. "Depends on what your definition of stupid is." "Your scaring me." Jungkook chuckles nervously, but as he comes closer, he suddenly stops in his tracks. His eyes go wide as he takes in Taehyung.
"What?" Taehyung asks, and it's only when he follows Jungkook's gaze that he realises it. He had probably been too high on his emotions to feel it, but now that he notices it, he can't seem to ignore it anymore.
He touches his neck at the side, and it especially hurts in one area the most. He looks at Jungkook, feeling scared and confused. "Is that...Your–" Jungkook's own eyes are wide, as he rushes closer and inspects Taehyung's neck. "Hyung, did I mark you last night?!"
[ A/N : Hi! Are you still reading? I hope this is showing up on your timeline! I'll be starting the update soon! Minors DO NOT read or interact and DO NOT follow me. πŸ”žπŸ”ž ]
Taehyung's fingers tremble as he rubs them over the sore spot. A tear slips out of his eye, worried how Jungkook is going to react now. Now that he thinks about it, he might have encouraged Jungkook to mark him unknowingly. Neither of them are at fault, and yet, he's nervous.
Jungkook is gentle, though, when he removes Taehyung's fingers from the spot to check. He looks at the very clear mark of teeth that must have sunk into Taehyung's skin, heartbeat quickening in his chest. "It's... hyung, it's a mark."
And then, Taehyung just kind of accepts it in his mind. It's over. Jungkook might freak out, maybe he'll ask to never see Taehyung again. He's already stepping away, his face wearing an unreadable expression. Maybe Taehyung should have stopped him last night.
Taehyung doesn't say a word – is unable to, from the way his mind is clouded by so many thoughts and worries. But Jungkook comes back, with an ice pack in his hands, and sits in front of him. "Does it hurt? This... Should help."
Taehyung looks up in surprise, and lets Jungkook press the ice pack against his neck. "Ahh." Taehyung says, as the ice hits his skin. Taehyung is almost expecting him to ask why he didn't stop Jungkook. "I'm sorry, hyung." He says instead, not meeting Taehyung's eyes.
"It's not..." Taehyung shakes his head. Jungkook sighs, cupping Taehyung's face with his other hand. He drops his head, mind clearly spinning with thoughts. "I don't know what to do. I should have been more careful."
"I should have stopped you." Taehyung says, breaking down into tears. "I just... I didn't realise it." "Why are you crying?" Jungkook asks, his own eyes tearing up a little. He brings his thumb up, and wipes under both of Taehyung's eyes. "We'll figure something out."
And Taehyung just sits there, chest heaving up and down, as he stares at Jungkook in surprise and in awe. He's never met an alpha like Jungkook. So sweet, so kind, so gentle – Taehyung can't believe he was lucky enough to find him.
"So there must be a bond now." Jungkook says, almost questioning it. "I've... Never marked anyone before. I don't know what prompted me to do that." And even in this time of worry, that makes Taehyung's heart skip a beat. He lets himself feel special just for a second."
Putting the ice pack aside, Jungkook now cups Taehyung's neck with both his hands, and moves closer. His scent grows more intense, and Taehyung lifts his gaze to meet his eye. There's something gentle in Jungkook's eyes. "Would... Kissing the mark lessen the pain?"
Taehyung starts to cry again, nodding a little, eager to take all of Jungkook's affection. "If you want to." Without wasting another second, Jungkook leans in, pressing a kiss against his neck. Then again, and again. "I'm sorry you're hurting because of me."
The kisses, as if magical, make it hurt less every time Jungkook's lips touch his neck. Taehyung wishes he'd never stop. "It's not your fault alone." Taehyung says, shutting his eyes in relief from the pain. "Jungkook, it... it feels so good when you do that."
And then, Jungkook just buries his face into Taehyung's neck, and sighs. It's almost as if Taehyung can feel his heart beating just as fast as his own. "Hyung." Jungkook says, although he sounds nervous. "I'll take responsibility for what I did."
"What?" Taehyung asks, wondering if he's hearing it right. "I'll look after you. Always. You're... We're bonded ogether now." Jungkook says, pulling back, but not meeting Taehyung's eyes. "How can I let you take care of this alone, then?"
Taehyung looks on. "Jungkook, it's–" "I will do everything an alpha is supposed to do for his...umm, omega." Jungkook says, pulling further, as the gears in his head turn. "And, and, I'll share a room with you if you want. And I'll never leave your side if that's necessary too."
Jungkook keeps rambling, a little nervous, never looking at Taehyung. "Jungkook!" Taehyung cups his face then, turning it towards himself until Jungkook looks into his eyes. "Stop.... Stop it."
Jungkook goes quiet, eyes wide, as if it's all sinking in again. He breathes heavily, looking like he's seen a ghost. Jungkook looks like he's freaking out. But at least, he didn't try to leave Taehyung and run. Taehyung appreciates that a lot.
And Taehyung knows that saying the next words are going to hurt. "Jungkook..." Taehyung says, his heart breaking a little inside his chest as he says it. "I don't want you to do any of these things because you feel like you have to, or you're obliged to."
Jungkook looks on, confused and worried himself, not saying a word. "I don't want you to feel burdened because of an accident that wasn't even our fault." Taehyung says. "We didn't intend on it, right? This was never part of the plan."
"It's...I won't feel burdened..." Jungkook manages to mumble out. But Taehyung shakes his head. "No. I can't let you do all of this." He rubs at his neck then, his tears falling out like streams. "The bond is going to break eventually if we stay apart." Taehyung says.
Jungkook's eyes widen then, and he shakes his head, because deep down, he doesn't like the idea of letting Taehyung go. "No, we don't have to–" "I'll find you another partner, Jungkook." Taehyung smiles through the tears. "I know several omegas who can help you during your rut."
"But what about you?" Jungkook looks concerned. "And and–" He caresses Taehyung's neck where it hurts. "The bond? We're... We can't–" But Taehyung shakes his head, removing Jungkook's hand slowly. "I'm just saying what's the best for us. I will... Find someone."
Jungkook's eyes follow him as he gets up, and Jungkook gets on his feet too, as if there's an invisible string that's pulling him towards Taehyung. It hurts a lot to say, but Taehyung says it regardless. "I'll uhh, be heading over to my dorm now."
Jungkook grabs his wrist, and turns Taehyung around to face him. "Hyung, please don't go. We can work something out–" Taehyung shakes his head, slowly freeing his wrist. "This thing between us clearly didn't work out as planned. I don't want you to regret anything later."
"Just... before I go." Taehyung says, allowing himself to indulge in it just one more time. "Can I please kiss you?" Jungkook immediately takes a few steps forward, cupping Taehyung's face. "Hyung... Please don't go. I don't want to leave you alone to deal with things."
"Can I kiss you?" Taehyung asks again, ignoring all of Jungkook's words. "Just one more time." Jungkook goes quiet then, too tired to protest anymore. He just pulls Taehyung closer, pressing a kiss to his lips, neither of them realising that they've started crying.
Taehyung pulls back suddenly, and touches his lips, as if it will somehow seal the sensation of the kiss onto them forever. "Take care, okay?" He looks at Jungkook once, smiles, and turns around to walk out of his dorm.
Jungkook is left standing there, his hand flying up to clutch his chest, because this hurts like hell. It must be the bond, he's sure, and if this hurts so much, he can't even fathom how much the mark is hurting Taehyung. He wishes he could make it alright.
β€”β€”β€”β€” πŸŒ™ Part XII πŸŒ™ β€”β€”β€”β€”
"You, Taehyung, are stupid." Jimin says, pacing across the room. "Go back right now." For the umpteenth time, Taehyung explains. "You don't understand the situation, Jimin. He probably doesn't feel that way about me." Jimin sighs. And then, he yells. "You are both mates now!"
Taehyung looks away, and his lips start to tremble, before his shoulders and chest start to shake too and he starts to cry. Profusely. "What am I supposed to do?" Taehyung cries, voice broken, defeated. "I don't want– him to feel like it's an obligation."
Jimin sits down on the edge of the bed, burying his face in his hands. "What have you done, Tae? And you? Will you be able to live with the pain? You know that it's going to hurt him too, right?" "I'll..." Taehyung sniffs. "Find him someone else to spend his rut with."
"Taehyung, that's not going to lessen his pain or yours!" Jimin explains. "The mark created a bond. It can't just be broken that easily." "If we stay far away long enough." Jimin groans. "It's not that easy, Tae." Jimin says. "It's going to be extremely painful."
"That's okay." Taehyung says, rubbing at the itchy, painful mark. "I'll be fine. I just need to make sure he's fine too." Jimin looks at him, annoyed, about to say something, but Taehyung stops him. "No, let's drop this." Taehyung says. Jimin sighs. "Fine, whatever."
Taehyung doesn't see Jungkook after that. He purposefully even avoids going towards his side of campus so that they don't even run into each other by change. And Jimin was right. It hurts. A lot.
Taehyung doesn't know if it's the bond or just the feelings he had harboured towards Jungkook even before they mated, but it breaks him from inside – having to stay away from Jungkook. Jungkook tries to contact him a few times, but Taehyung doesn't respond.
The weeks pass by, the time spent with Jungkook slowly pushed to the back of his mind, but never forgotten. Not when there's a huge reminder sitting on his neck. Not when there's this constant ache in his chest. Not when all Taehyung wants to do is run to Jungkook and hold him.
But he knows he can't – so Taehyung bears it all, hoping everyday that Jungkook isn't hurting as much as him. Taehyung has no idea. Taehyung has no idea just how painful it is for Jungkook as well.
He refused help with getting another omega partner early on in one of his texts where he tried to reach out, so Taehyung didn't push further. So now, Jungkook is sad, heartbroken, and has to spend his next rut alone. Again.
But all this time away from Taehyung makes him question his feelings and reflect on them. He knows that the bond is working its magic, but hasn't he wanted to keep Taehyung close by even before he marked him? The bond is only cementing things into place, if anything.
Every single day, Jungkook feels his heart and his whole body crave for Taehyung. He wishes to see him again, and wishes to hold him again, but Taehyung is adamant, and Jungkook wants to respect his boundaries.
It's the third week already, and Jungkook feels drained and completely exhausted. All he does is go to class and come back, cook or order food, talk to his parents on the phone and study. The rest of the time, he's only thinking about Taehyung, yearning for him. It's unbearable.
Jungkook didn't know bonds could hurt so much if both people stayed away. He rubs a hand over his chest as he tries to fall asleep, a tear slipping out of his eye. Maybe tonight, at least in his dreams, he will see Taehyung.
It's a day later, and Taehyung's heat is very close. He feels like crap most of the time these days, so he texted Jimin to could go out for a movie. He brushes his hair, staring into the mirror, getting ready. Secretly, he wishes he would run into Jungkook at the movie theater.
Once again, he starts to wonder how Jungkook is doing. What if he's found someone else? The mere thought makes his mark sting. Taehyung's hand flies up to caress it, to lessen the pain. It hasn't gotten any better even in three whole weeks of not seeing each other.
His phone dings with a message from Jimin, saying that he's coming over in five minutes. Taehyung looks at the message, and then scrolls down to find Jungkook's texts. He opens it with a heavy heart, and starts to cry as soon as he looks at the messages Jungkook had sent him.
In a weak moment, Taehyung wonders if he should call Jungkook. Ask him how he's doing. His finger hovers over the call button, heart rattling in his chest. But there's still doubt in his mind – what if it was just the bond speaking? Jungkook never wanted feelings to be involved.
Still, he tells himself that one call to check in is fine. Jungkook probably wouldn't mind. Gathering all of his courage, he is about to press the call button when the bell rings, and Taehyung loses all his courage again. He uses it as an excuse to backtrack. "Hold on, Jimin!"
But when he goes and opens the door, Jimin isn't there. Instead, there's an exhausted looking Jungkook, huge eyes filled with sadness instead of stars. It makes Taehyung's heart beat faster, and also break instantly. "Hyung." He says. "Can I please come in? We need to talk."
[ A/N : Hope you enjoyed reading! Updating after such a long time. πŸ₯² Hope it was worth the wait! Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you for reading! ]
Taehyung stares in shock at first, before he snaps out of it, and takes a few steps backwards. "Y-yeah, of course. Sorry. Come in." But he doesn't expect Jungkook to immediately turn around and lock the door. Taehyung's heartbeat accelerates even more when he does that.
The room fills up with Jungkook's scent, the one that Taehyung had missed so much, and makes him want to go and hold Jungkook immediately. Jungkook faces Taehyung then, and leans against the door, breathing heavily. "Can I come closer to you? I really want to."
Taehyung wants to say yes, but he's so nervous and everything is happening so suddenly, that he starts babbling. "I-I was just...I was about to go out now–" "It can wait, can't it?" Jungkook asks, stepping forward. "I need to be with you. Now. I can't take it any more."
It makes Taehyung's heart break, and he wants it just as much. So he stares, heart racing in his chest. And when Taehyung doesn't ask him to stop, Jungkook keeps taking steps forward until they're just inches away, and slowly cages Taehyung against the wall with both his arms.
Jungkook seems to take Taehyung's scent in, struggling not to nuzzle his nose against his neck. Taehyung notices, and the temptation is too strong anyway. So he curses under his breath, and pulls Jungkook in, until their chests are pressed together. "I missed you so much."
Jungkook's arms immediately fly up to hold him closer, tighter. "You didn't have to. We could have avoided this whole thing." "Yeah, I just–" "Shh." Jungkook says. "Stop talking." Taehyung does, and then, the only sound in the room is that of their breathing.
Jungkook rubs his nose up and down the side of his neck, and it makes Taehyung feel all tingly. Jungkook presses his lips gently against the mark, and it stops hurting. Everything stops hurting – it's like all he needed was Jungkook.
"I'm supposed to..." Taehyung breathes heavily. "Go out. In five minutes." Jungkook shakes his head. "You're staying here with me. We need to sort some things out." "But Jimin... He's already on his way." "I'll talk to him." Jungkook says. "I'm sure he'll understand."
Soon enough, there's a knock on the door, and before Taehyung can say anything, Jungkook pulls back and walks towards the door, opening it. Jimin is visibly shocked upon seeing Jungkook, but it doesn't take him long to peek at Taehyung, wink, and give Jungkook a thumbs up.
Before Taehyung can say anything, Jimin mouths 'good luck' and turns around, bolting away, and Jungkook shuts the door. Then, he immediately comes back to Taehyung, holding him close again, but this time, their foreheads are pressed together.
Jungkook cups his face on one side, angling it backwards, and presses a kiss right under the angle of Taehyung's jaw. "I haven't stopped thinking about you." Jungkook whispers. "What have you done to me, hmm?"
Jungkook's hands now trail upwards, attempting to unbutton Taehyung's shirt, but Taehyung grabs his wrist, looking at the small window next to them. "Jungkook... not here." He whispers. "The b-bed."
Jungkook, attuned completely to him, immediately pulls back. Without wasting a single moment, he lifts Taehyung up bridal style, and walks to the bed, before carefully laying him down, and climbing on and right on top of him.
He cups Taehyung's face, looking right into his eyes. "If I don't kiss you right now, I might just completely lose my mind." Under Jungkook's weight, Taehyung's body has already started to react to his alpha. He is just as desperate. "Kiss me, then."
Jungkook lowers his face then, and slots his lips against Taehyung's. Hungry, desperate, but still gentle. To both of them, it feels like the end of a rough winter and the beautiful, first trace of spring.
It feels like a drug they've withdrawn from, only to go back to being addicted again. Jungkook just can't stop once he starts, and Taehyung doesn't even try to. There's electricity shooting through each of their veins, the omega and alpha finally getting what they desire.
This time, it's Taehyung's hands that slide down Jungkook's chest, trying to undo his shirt buttons, but Jungkook pulls back and breaks the kiss, gently clutching Taehyung's wrists. "Hyung." He quickly pecks Taehyung's lips, gently. "I want to say something first."
Taehyung is desperate, but gulps, and nods. "Yeah?" "It was...very difficult without you." "It was the bond." Taehyung says, touching his neck. Jungkook shakes his head. "No. No, it wasn't just that."
Taehyung's heartbeat goes through the roof. "What do you mean?" "I..." Jungkook struggles, and it takes all of his courage to say the words. "Even before I marked you, I..." "What?" Taehyung urges him on, cupping his face. "Tell me." "I caught feelings."
Taehyung gasps a little, watching Jungkook in silence and allowing the words to sink in. His eyes flit to Jungkook's lips, and he grazes them with his fingers before looking back up and into his eyes. "Really?"
"Yes." Jungkook sighs, shoulders hunching down. "I know, it's embarrassing, because I was the one who said I don't do romantic relationships and–" Taehyung shuts him up, when he pushes himself up immediately and presses their lips together.
It's not long before they're kissing each other and fighting their tears at the same time. Taehyung suddenly stops, pulling back, and looking down between them. "Jungkook....I think you just made me go into heat."
"Whoa." Jungkook's eyes go wide. "I can do that?" "It was almost time anyway." Taehyung says. "But since we started to make out... it just, you know..." Jungkook kisses him on the forehead. "Isn't it great then, that I'm here to take care of it?" Jungkook asks Taehyung.
Taehyung looks at him, caressing his cheeks. "Is this real? You're... Really here, right? I still can't believe it." "What can I do to make you believe?" Jungkook touches the hand that's over his cheek. "Except trying my best to be a good mate to you?"
The word makes something flutter in Taehyung's chest, as he plays with Jungkook's features, tracing them with his fingers. "My mate..." Taehyung says, a smile slipping past his lips. "Wow. We're mates. So... I can finally say it?"
"Say what?" Jungkook asks with a smile. Taehyung wraps his arms around Jungkook's shoulders, pulling him closer. "My alpha. I can now call you my alpha."
Jungkook smiles, nuzzling his nose against Taehyung's neck again. "You sure can. And I should start calling you my omega too. Wow, I've... never said that before. Ever." It makes Taehyung laugh out loud instantly. "Actually..."
Jungkook's smile gives way to a confused expression. "What?" Taehyung bites his lips, giggling and shaking his head. "Nothing. Yes, please call me that. I love it."
Jungkook rolls over then, lying down with his head against a pillow. "Hyung, come here." He pats the bed next to him. "Let me spoon you." Taehyung groans, and immediately crawls over, letting Jungkook hold him from behind. "This feels amazing. Nothing hurts when you're close."
Jungkook presses gentle kisses to his neck, while he pulls out his phone, and goes on Naver to look something up. β€˜How to reduce the pain of marking in omegas?’ Jungkook types it out, and searches. He clicks on the first article that pops up.
Jungkook sighs, because they have already been away for so long. He can't even imagine how painful it must have been for Taehyung. But there's still some ways to make it better. Jungkook presses another kiss to the mark, and sighs. "I'm sorry. You're in so much pain."
Taehyung shakes his head. "Now that you're here, it doesn't hurt all that much. Really." Then he turns around, and catches Jungkook looking at his phone. "What are you looking at?"
Jungkook puts his phone aside, and focuses his full attention on Taehyung, wrapping his arms around him. "Hyung." Jungkook presses another gentle kiss to the mark. "Do you want to get in the bathtub with me?"
"Oh. Are you trying to give me a warm bath to improve my pain?" Taehyung asks. "I've seen that article." "Oh. Yeah." Jungkook says. "And I also want to try the last method from the article. In the tub itself."
[ A/N : Good night! Would love to know your thoughts! ]
β€”β€”β€”β€” πŸŒ™ Part XIII πŸŒ™ β€”β€”β€”β€”
Jungkook is done setting up the bathtub – it's tiny, given that it's a dorm's bathroom, but Jungkook thinks they'll manage. "Come on in, hyung." He gently calls out. "It's ready."
Taehyung peeks into the bathroom, face flushed red as he stands by the door. "I'm feeling so shy." Jungkook stands up from where he'd been crouching by the bathtub. "You do remember that we've seen each other naked before, right?" He teases.
Taehyung then takes a step inside, clad in his oversized t-shirt. "I already took off my shorts." Jungkook walks towards him, and pulls the hem of his t-shirt over his head. "And you left this for me to take off, hmm?" "Yeah." Jungkook chuckles.
Jungkook then takes off his own clothes, and Taehyung watches in awe, as if it's the first time. He can never get used to how beautiful Jungkook's body is. How beautiful Jungkook is.
Jungkook steps into the tub, and settles down. Then, he looks at Taehyung, and points to his lap with his chin. "Come."
"Are we really going to..." Taehyung begins, as he steps into the bathtub. "Here?" "Yeah." Jungkook nods, looking up at him, holding out a hand for Taehyung to grab. "Unless you don't want to...?" "No!" Taehyung immediately says. "I want to!" It makes Jungkook chuckle again.
Taehyung settles down into Jungkook's lap, and the sensation of warm water all over his body coupled with Jungkook's arms around him relax him at once. "Does it feel good?" Jungkook asks, and Taehyung nods.
Jungkook takes some water in his palm, and pours it over the mark on Taehyung's neck. "Wow, that felt so good, Jungkook." "It did?" And then, Jungkook lowers Taehyung enough for his neck to be covered in the warm water.
"Aren't you going to kiss me?" Taehyung turns his body to look at Jungkook. "We've been in the bathtub for five whole minutes and–" His words are cut off when Jungkook grabs his jaw, and presses a kiss to his lips.
Taehyung smiles into the kiss, cupping Jungkook's face as well, and turning around in his embrace to fully face him. When he pulls back, with a glint of mischief in his eyes, he whispers into Jungkook's ear. "How much longer until we do the dirty in here?"
β€”β€”β€”β€” πŸŒ™ Part XIV πŸŒ™ β€”β€”β€”β€”
"What?" Taehyung asks, shocked. "Yoonjae? My ex Yoonjae?" Jimin rolls his eyes. "Which other Yoonjae do you know? He's been going around threatening every alpha that wanted to be your heat partner." Taehyung has to sit down. "No wonder I wasn't getting any matches." He says.
"And now, he's got a whiff of you being with an alpha." Jimin says, crossing his arms. "Word's going around that he's in search of who your new boyfriend is." Taehyung groans. "He better not drag Jungkook into this mess. Why is he so obsessed with me? I can't believe it."
"Apparently, he wants to get back with you." Jimin says. "I think you should tell Jungkook. He'll take care of it." "I know he can." Taehyung says. "But I promised him that I'll only make our relationship public once he's fully comfortable."
"Taehyung-ah." A sickly sweet, familiar but unwanted voice greets him from a distance. "Long time, no see. I was hoping to run into you, actually." Taehyung turns around, and his face goes pale at the sight of Yoonjae. "What the hell are you doing here?!"
"Just wanted to have a chat." He smiles, as he settles down beside Taehyung. Then, he turns to Jimin. "Can we have some privacy, Jimin-ssi?" Jimin laughs, and then his expression goes back to neutral. "No."
"Fine then, we'll talk in front of you." Yoonjae says, and turns to Taehyung. "Baby. I heard you're dating someone? You know our breakup was a mistake, right? We can make this work–" "Yoonjae." Taehyung says, scooting away from him. "That is...never going to happen."
"Taehyung-ah." Yoonjae scoots closer to him. "What is with that attitude, baby?" "Don't baby me!" Taehyung fires back, annoyed. He stands up. "Please leave me alone. You know what was a mistake? Us dating."
Yoonjae stands up, his fake smile turning sinister now. "Just wait until I find out who your new man is. You're going to be single in no time again. And then–" "Then what?" A voice comes from behind Yoonjae, making him turn around.
Jungkook walks past him to come and stop by Taehyung, wrapping an arm around his waist and pressing a kiss to his cheeks. "Baby." Jungkook says, pushing back a strand of hair from Taehyung's forehead. "Is he bothering you?"
Taehyung is too taken aback to answer. He just stands there, melting in Jungkook's hold. They go out together but they've never made it official until now. Jungkook then turns to Yoonjae. "Are you bothering him?"
Yoonjae fumes, his eyes on Jungkook's arm around Taehyung's waist. "Get your hand off him." Yoonjae charges forward. "Taehyung is mine." Jungkook grabs Yoonjae by the collar, and stops him in his tracks. No matter how much he tries, he can't move towards them.
Jungkook pushes Yoonjae, making him stumbles backward. "If he says he doesn't want to be with you, then you should listen." "And who are you?" Yoonjae says, gearing up to charge at them again. "Must be the new boyfriend, huh?"
Jungkook turns to look at Taehyung, and slowly slides his collar off to bring his mark into view. "You see that?" He asks Yoonjae. "That's mine. Not just his boyfriend. We're mates, actually. Do you have any more questions?"
Yoonjae huffs out a laugh of disbelief, completely losing it, as he takes a few steps forward again. "No way. That can't be true. Taehyung-ah, you can't do that to me–" Jungkook moves to stand in front of Taehyung. "You take one more step towards him, and I'll break your bones."
Taehyung wraps his arms around Jungkook's waist, hooking his chin onto his shoulder. "Baby, it's not worth it. Let's go." Jungkook turns to face him, and leans in to whisper. "You're worth this and a lot, lot more, baby. It's okay. I've got this."
He turns to look at Yoonjae again, and his brows furrow again. "You're still here?" Yoonjae sighs, taking a step backwards. "This isn't over." "Oh it's over. Deal with it." Taehyung says. "I know who I want to spend the rest of my life with, and it's not you." Jungkook smiles.
And as Yoonjae walks away, Taehyung turns Jungkook around to face him. "I didn't know you were ready to go public." "I was never not ready, I guess." Jungkook shrugs. "Maybe it was about timing?" Jimin clears his throat. "It's time for me to take my leave, I guess." He says.
Before they can stop him, Jimin waves and walks away. Taehyung turns to Jungkook, grabs his cheeks and squishes them. "You start your rut soon, don't you?"
Jungkook nods, wrapping his fingers around Taehyung's wrist. "Ow, it hurts when you do that. But I like it." "That's what I said to you." Taehyung presses a kiss to Jungkook's squished up lips. "The other night."
"So, umm." Taehyung clears his throat. "We're like... official now?" "Yeah, you could say so." Jungkook wraps his arms around Taehyung's waist, pulling him closer. "So I can kiss you in public whenever I want now?" "I have never, ever been opposed to that."
Taehyung grins. "Okay. Any special requests, Mr. Jeon? For your upcoming rut?" "No extra requests, sir." Jungkook replies. "The usual is more than special to me." "The usual?" "You. Just you."
Taehyung sighs, satisfied. "I'm so content right now. I feel so happy." "Thank you." Jungkook says, tucking Taehyung's hair behind his ears. "What for?" "For taking my advertisement off minutes after I put it up." Jungkook says, and both of them break into a laugh.
