every day, i understand the urge to dunk on people slightly to your left (or even your right) less and less, when there's an entire extended universe of assholes and genuinely bad people and they hold half the power in the country and are demonstrably easier to trash

this was not always my position, i will freely admit

there's a whole entire website full of clown lawyers, talking heads, basement podcasters and fascist legislators who talk shit unchallenged every day on this website, and i'm going to need you to all suit up and do your part to make them look even dumber than they are

and, like, i will not always be good about this in the future, i can already tell you. but it's been a deliberate choice and change in behavior on my part
