This is my initial thread which provides evidence in support of Hersh's claims re the Nordstream pipeline.
1. Now I will explore some of the claims and counterclaims regarding certain details in his article.
So this is the pipe schematic, source:
The diameter is only 1,22 m and it lays open on the sea bed.
4. RHIB Boats from Oksay Class minesweeper?
(not Altay Class as Hersh claimed)
No need for 400 kg of explosives as rumored somewhere. The amount needed fits into a RHIB boat. It could also do multiple tours, to attach even more
One of the RHIBs used by the Norwegian Navy for example are built by #GoldfishBoats and are similar to this civilian 28Bullet Model. Its range with a top line engine configuration is 300 nautical miles or ca. 550 km with one fuel load. They could have pulled this off.
Just to make sure, i checked the distance from the leakage (Data provided by danish authorities) to the holding pattern knots on the ship tracking radar. It is roughly 18 km off S-E of the island of Bornholm. The Oksay-Class minesweeper stayed at a distance of 7 to 8 km away.
6. The presence of Norwegian minesweeper M343 Hinnoy (MMSI: 259019000), near location of the pipeline in June 2022 (BALTOPS) confirmed by another source who tries to debunk Hersh for calling it Alta Class (easy mistake to make as they are very similar)
...one Oksay-class minesweeper, the M343 Hinnoy (MMSI: 259019000), did track near the sites of the blasts (as reported by @Danish Maritime Authority) in June, but its track does not match up to what you'd expect (holding position over the sites for a period of time so the divers could deploy)...
7. Similarities between Alta & Oksøy class Ships
"The Alta class minesweeper is a ship class of minesweepers operated by the Royal Norwegian Navy. An almost identical class of minehunters is known as the Oksøy class"
Spot the Difference?
8. Obviously, Hersh's source was not a Norwegian ship spotter....
I don't think this is a good reason to discredit his article, despite many attempts to do so by the usual suspects.
10. Here she is on 23 June 2022 speeding away from the putative crime scene ;) after the end of BALTOPS 22 (17 June 2022)

27. Hersh Map Issue
The map supplied to illustrate the article does say "MAP is NOT EXACT" ;) but even so, there are some glaring errors picked up by anti Hershians
As we can see, Hersh (or his Map editor) confused a naval base with an air base(Rygge)
gge is a naval base. Looks like the great Seymour Hersh isn’t so great with details lmao
28. I understand that such an error will send anal retentive obsessives into a paroxysm of fury, but I don't feel it detracts significantly from the most important claims in his article.
How about you?
29. The Biggie - The Poseidon P8 issue
This is quite complex!
Hersh's article first mentions a Norwegian Air Force P8 but then says it was a Norwegian Navy P8 that initiated the explosions via sonar buoy
30. The Problem...
So, the P8 in question (near the explosion locations) was not a Norwegian Air Force (or Navy as they don't use them) P8 but rather a US P8
The exact timing of the US P8 flight is disputed as we shall see
...Norway has five P8s, meanwhile, but none were tracked by @ADSBexchange in the area on September 26, 2022, and you would expect them to be. A US P8 (hexcode AE6581) was tracked in the area on that date, but it arrived about 90 minutes after the first blast...
31. Time of the Explosions (Danish Summer Time)
"EUS registered 2 tremors in the Baltic Sea on the night of Monday 26 September at 02.03 & at 19.03, both Danish summer time. The times and locations match the gas leaks from Nord Stream 1 and 2"
33. The "recorded" Path of the US P8 with Times
Arriving near Bornholm Island at 01:00 AM UTC
(if all is as it appears to be, of course)
Compare to Danish Time, etc.
I am taking a break, to be continued
34. Although times are disputed, question remains
Why would a US P8 be on a pre-planned flight path from way up North fly parallel to Bornholm island and the area of the sabotaged pipelines on the same day as the explosions (02:03 local time CEST and 19:03 pm)?
ot from Flightradar 24 which seems to indicate another US Navy P8 flying in the day before, early morning the 25:th. Could perhaps explain setting off timer on first blast early morning Sept 26?
There was apparently a "routine" to fly US Navy P8 Poseidon aircraft over the Baltic sea the 23rd, 24th, and 25th of September, all magically showing up on climb 11000ft at 1AM UTC (3AM local). Could have done naughty things before that.
40. Moving onto question of Norwegian Air Force P8s
Some claimed they were not ready for deployment until Summer 2023
5 Norwegian Air Force P8s are based at Evenes Air Field.
Evenes Airfield also can be used by US Navy P8s under US- Norway Agreement.
41. Some delays...
"The latest is that the first plane will take off from Evenes in early June (2022). In August next year (2023), P-8 Poseidon will take over the operations of the old maritime patrol aircraft P-3 Orion, which is based on Andøya"
«Munin" landed at Evenes airbase this morning. This is the third out of five P-8 Poseidon maritime patrole aircraft that arrives in Norway. P-8 Poseidon will take over for both our P-3 Orion and DA-20. #forsvaret#forsvarsmateriell
«SAINT27» Boeing P-8 Poseidon from @Royal Norwegian Air Force looking very much like a civilian airliner from the ground and giving at least one onlooker a brief highjack/accident scare while overflying a kindergarden. The scare fortunately quickly relieved by @Flightradar24.

1/ Sy Hersh claim of Norwegian P8 flight over Baltic on September 26 dropping buoy triggering explosions has received criticism since only P8 Sep 26 on flight radar arrived one hour after first explosion. However, there was a US Navy P8 flying dark mission the night before.
57. After reviewing the data, time for the Anti-Hershian Articles:
1. Blowing Holes in Seymour Hersh's Pipe Dream
On the surface Seymour Hersh's story looks passable, but as you dig deeper it has more holes than the Nord Stream pipeline.
Another Hersh interview. The lady presenting says the sonar buoy was dropped on the 25:th. (at 3mn)
Hersh says it's obvious that CIA takes care of what "open source people" see.
He says the pressure chamber for divers was flown in by CIA.

81. An interesting warning
“There may be more to learn about Joe Biden’s decision to prevent the German government from having 2nd thoughts about the lack of cheap gas this winter...Stay tuned, We are only on first base”
Hersh wrote on Wednesday (15th)
I talked to an experienced pilot about the reliability of flight tracking data for military aircraft. Here is what I learned/got confirmed.
1. It's unthinkable to fly in controlled European airspace with tracking turned off. It's a safety violation.
85. Hersh on Decompression Chamber

BREAKING: A @Department of Defense 🇺🇸 Source Speaking On The Condition Of Anonymity Told Me Details Of How @Joe Biden Ordered The #NordStream Pipelines Destroyed In June But Then Got Nervous & Changed Orders To The PLACE BOMBS But Make Them Capable Of Later Detonation.
He DID NOT Inform #Germany#Norway#Sweden & #Denmark
The @CIA Informed @Joe Biden Our Navy Had A Way To Place Bombs On Pipelines & Use A @Raytheon Air Dropped Sonar Trigger At A Later Time.
The Navy Had Concerns That A Long Delay Between Placing The Explosives (C-4) & Detonating With A Sonar Drop Buoy Would Cause A Bomb Failure.
The Team That Planned The Sabotage Of #Russia's #NordStream Pipelines Was Lead By @Jake Sullivan & Had Members From The @CIA@NSA/CSS@The Joint Staff 🇺🇸@Treasury Department & @Department of State.
The Secret Team Would Meet At The #Eisenhower Executive Office Building In A Secure Room Across From The @The White House.
The @U.S. Navy@USSOCOM Team That Placed The 8 Bombs Trained At The Naval Diving & Salvage Training Center In #PanamaCity#Florida.
8 Bombs Were Successfully Placed In June Of 2022 With A Pre-Planned @U.S. Navy@NATO Excercise As Cover.
The Divers Were Recovered By A Norwegian Navy Submarine.
The Bombs Were Detonated On September 26,2022 By A @Raytheon Low Frequency Sonar Drop Buoy After @Joe Biden Became Upset At Progress #Russia Was Making & A Fear #Germany Would Drop Their Sanctions On #Russia To Allow #NaturalGas To Flow During The Cold Winter Months.
Just As The @U.S. Navy Professionals Predicted 2 Of The Eight Bombs Failed To Detonate Due To The 4 Month Submersion In Salt Water.
After @Joe Biden Ordered The Bombs Detonated WITHOUT PRIOR INFORMING GERMANY, There Was Serious Derision In The Ranks... ESPECIALLY In The #IntelligenceCommunity & Military Special Operations Community.
Everyone Saw This As A Direct Act Of War Against #Russia & Even Against Our @NATO Partner #Germany.
This Has Caused Incredible Trouble For @Joe Biden & @Jake Sullivan Behind The Scenes In DC & At @NATO As Many Believe Biden Chose To Let Germany Freeze For Strictly Political & NOT NATIONAL SECURITY Purposes.

w/ Sy Hersh
The most accomplished investigative reporter of the past 5 decades on the covert U.S. operation to blow up pipelines bringing gas from Russia to Germany; Ukraine & the state of journalism
93. Swedish Navy (2)
At 11 a.m. on Thursday 22nd September, the Swedish Navy's ships left the port in Karlskrona. Barely two hours later, the ships are in place at the very northern area where three gas leaks are found four days later.
94. Swedish Navy (3)
After that, the movement data ceases at 13, probably because the AIS transmitter on board is switched off to hide the ship's movements. For the next 22 hours, Navy ships apparently do not want to reveal their exact position via AIS.
95. Swedish Navy (4)
At 11 o'clock on Friday morning, the ship is some kilometers west of the location of the 3 gas leaks. They then steer towards Simrishamn for a short lunch break. At 18:00 they stop transmitting AIS data, then they are at location of the northern gas leaks.
96. Swedish Navy (5)
At 23.56 on Friday evening, the movement data is broadcast again. Then the navy's ship surprisingly finds itself in a new position. Now they are in the southern area where the fourth gas leak will later be discovered.
97. Swedish Navy (6)
The navy's ship then drives north on Bornholm's western side to return to the more northern area where three gas leaks are later found. At 12:13 on Saturday, ships stop transmitting position data in this area.
98. Swedish Navy (7)
The journalists interviewed Swedish Navy's press manager, "Jimmie Adamsson", who refused to say what kind of ship was deployed from Thursday to Saturday at Bornholm. He also refused to say why they were in the area where the gas pipelines run on those days
99. Swedish Navy (8)
All @Jimmie Adamsson would say was:
"We carry out maritime surveillance with various types of vessels. It can be anything from corvettes & minesweepers to HMS Carlskrona"
Jimmie is information manager at the 3rd Naval Battle Flotilla in Karlskrona

NATO SeaFox detected by Nord Stream:
"found in close proximity to Nord Stream Line 2 on Nov 6, 2015 during routine survey operations as part of annual integrity assessment activities of the Nord Stream offshore pipeline system"
110. "SeaFox" removed by Swedish Navy
NATO claimed it "was lost during exercises"
Sergei Kupriyanov, Gazprom spokesman, remarked laconically:
"This is such a NATO exercise. When a military explosive device is located exactly under our gas pipeline"
111. More about SeaFox

"Service members from 11 nations participated in BALTOPS 22 at Swedish Naval Warfare Centre in Ravlunda June 5-17 (and Bonholm Island)
113. On Locations of Explosions
1. As far as you can get from Russian water
2. The water is relatively shallow, so sea water will flow in a large part of the pipe when the gas escapes
3. Not in German territorial waters but in Swedish Economic Zone & Danish territorial waters
114. On Locations of Explosions (2)
4. The exact locations are selected so that other infrastructure on the seabed is not damaged, for example the power line to Poland.
115. On Locations of Explosions (3)
5. Several locations have been chosen for detonation that are at a safe distance from the dumping sites to the east of Bornholm, where war gases were previously dumped after the Second World War.

123. M343 Hinnoy was deployed during BALTOPS22
We certainly don't need a jumped up OSINT stooge to manage the information for us.
His claim that it was not close enough to the explosion sites is disputed as he fails to take into account its two fast ROV boats for diving ops
124. Claim by @Oliver Alexander
"The M343 Hinnøy was present at BALTOPS22, but not over the sites"
However, as pointed out by @Evan Field and others, this completely disregards the use of an underwater support vessel like the SDV (SEAL Delivery Vehicle) being deployed
125. Overlay of Google Earth GPS coordinates

126. KNM Hinnoy tracked near both sabotage locations @Frank Holster
"the KNM Hinnøy operated next to Nord Stream 1"
If it used mobile diver teams from the 2 boats, then the KNM Hinnoy was effectively right over the target, exactly where it have to be.
127. Strange Manoeuvers
Hinnoy "slowed its course near first 2 sites where a team with under water support vessels may have been deployed & that unusually long loitering pattern next to the third site could be waiting for the team to finish & rendezvous with them" @Evan Field
1. What would be the purpose of strange pattern of loitering near the 3rd site?
2. Do you think any Navy ship would conduct covert operations & not plan for dealing with AIS?
3. Do you have tracking of Hinnøy's ROVs at these times?
129. More Questions for @Oliver Alexander
From @Bruce Wolman
"How about doing useful research, such as providing whereabouts of the minesweepers equipped with AUVs to detect pipeline sabotage, from Jan to June, when Hersh claims Norwegians determined best place to sabotage pipelines?
130, Looks like its time to haul in a NATO OSINT Stooge to answer some questions about Hinnøy!

Norway not directly involved (discussion was before Hersh's substack was published)
Norway knows who carried it out & benefited.

Financial Gain and Loss
159. There is a lot more discussion of interest there
I may post some snippets later but that's it for now
160. Update via @robert william lander
UN Security Council meeting on Nord Stream sabotage re-scheduled for February 21 at 15:00 local time.
The meeting is to vote on draft Russian resolution calling for an international investigation of the pipeline explosions
161. Maybe moved to 22nd?
"The Security Council meeting called by Russia after Seymour Hersh’s report pointed to the U.S. and Norway as the culprits, can be seen live at 3 pm on the following link":
162. Limitations of OSINT and Military Flights
"3 days in a row, SCSPI found US surveillance aircraft electronically impersonating Malaysian planes to conduct close-in reconnaissance near China’s coast by mysteriously broadcasting spoofed ICAO hex codes"
166. UN Security Council Meeting
"Investigations by Denmark, Germany & Sweden have so far only established that damage was caused by "powerful explosions due to sabotage. These investigations have not yet been concluded. It is not possible to say when they will be concluded"
167. Naturally, conspiracy theories multiply
Almost 5 months have passed since the sabotage of the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.
We can only blame Denmark, Sweden & Germany!
168. Summary of briefings & statements
Want more transparency in investigation
Happy with current investigations
169. Adding some Baltic Sea Activity Reports

181. Next Section of this thread will focus on
HSwMS Belos (A214)
a submarine rescue ship in the Swedish Navy's 1st Submarine flotilla with an interesting history which was:
In the Baltic in June 2022 for BALTOPS22
Also at the site of Nord Stream explosions in Sept 2022
183. Belos (1)
Thanks to dynamic positioning, Belos does not need to anchor, but can lie still over, for example, an accident site through a combination of GPS, gyrocompass and rudder and bow thrusters.
184. Belos (2)
Can carry out diving & underwater work with underwater craft
Specialised in Submarine rescue
Equipped with a pressure chamber system for decompression of rescued submarine crew
It has a helipad in the bow
Compatible with NATO Submarine Rescue System (NSRS).
185. Belos (3)
Belos is one of the world's most prominent diving vessels. In addition to diving and underwater work.
Belos also has submarine rescue as a task.
186. Belos Rescuing sailors from submarines 2014
"participated in the international submarine rescue exercise Dynamic Monarch 2014 off Gdynia, practice rescuing submariners from fake damaged submarines lying at the bottom of the Baltic Sea"
189. Belos - Close Collaboration with UK & US Navy

192. BELOS during BALTOPS 2022
6 Jun 2022
Video of BELOS with Submarine Gotland
We know she participated in a submarine rescue operation but we don't have any tracking data yet
Her AIS was turned off from beginning of BALTOPS 2022
To be continued
195. So what, you may ask?
We know that:
1. BELOS was sent immediately to check on the explosion sites
2. Maybe she was 1 of 2 dark ships detected near explosion locations (Late Sept)
3. She was doing a submarine rescue exercise during BALTOPS 2022 in Baltic Sea with AIS off
197. Submarine spotted off Christiansø 3 Oct 2022
"I say here in the film there is a submarine out in front of Christiansø. When I go home, 3 bombs go off at Nord stream 1 & 2. Christiansø is perfect place for a submarine because over 80 meters deep"
198. Submarine siting may be related to the second whistleblower testimony about divers?
See tweets earlier in this thread for transcript and video
199. Offshore wind farms report - Bornholm Island
Some useful data for review (92 Pages)
200. Wind driven water pumps in Bornholm Basin
Useful Maps and data (38 Pages) - 2013
"In the vicinity of the small island Christiansø (the biggest of the islands in the group called
Ertholmene), two connected areas with mean depths >92 m can be found"
201. Useful Map of underwater infrastructure
Cable positions, pipeline route (Nord Stream) and munition dumpsites in the Bornholm Basin area. (from Nord Stream AG, 2012)

205. Four Undersea surveillance Technologies
The bottom of the sea is the Danish Defence’s blind spot (2022)
"Danish Navy's underwater drone SAAB Double Eagle is currently near Bornholm investigating the Nord Stream crime scene"
3/ Nordstream AG has removed the page on shareholder committee, but from archives we can see:
Gerhart Schröder was chairman. Lots of western energy executives were on the board. When you get hit, you want to find out who did it. Ask these men.
217. Own Goal?
If @Oliver Alexander theory is correct then US P8 arrival time issue resolved as no need to trigger anything at 00:03 on 26th
It also supports either Russia or US triggering 2nd NS explosions to avoid detection of previously placed charges
A large update with more evidence to support my theory that the Southern Nord Stream 2 rupture may have been the result of poor quality control & the pressure of incoming sanctions, which forcibly accelerated a plan to destroy the Nord Stream 1 pipeline.
219. Talking of catastrophic Ruptures & Explosions
The next section looks at explosives, underwater demolition, linear shaped charges and pipelines in more detail.
Caveat: I am quite good with explosives but not an expert in underwater pipelines ;)
222. Full Version Latest interview Hersh on RT
"On this special episode of Going Underground, we speak to legendary journalist Seymour Hersh, who sent shockwaves around the world when he detailed how US blew up Nordstream pipelines"
h/t @Erik Andersson 🐘
223. "Eight Navy Divers"
The Internet Archive version is useful as it automatically shows the transcript in a horizontal strip under each video segment
Only new practical info is mention of "8 Navy Divers"
225. Back to Explosives and Demolition
Some background reading (mainly of curiosity value as it was published in 1944 and mainly focuses on Japanese beach defenses)
226. More up to date manual
Even Underwater demolition has a bureaucratic procedure ;)
Screenshots of TOC
227. My Favourite Manual
Mainly historical value and only tangentially related to Nord Stream pipeline sabotage (but great photographs and a lot of detail)
