Omar (RA) noticed that everyday after Fajr prayer, Abu Bakr (RA) would leave a little distance out of Medina into a little town, and would enter a small house for hours and then would leave to his own This made Omar (RA) very curious because he always knew what Abu Bakr (RA) was
doing except for the business of this house.
Days went by and Abu Bakr (RA) was still going to this house, so Omar (RA) decided to enter the house when Abu Bakr (RA) left to see what was going on with him.
When Omar (RA) entered this house he found a small old lady who couldn't
Move and had no one and was blind.
He was surprised but wanted to know what the relationship was between this old lady and Abu Bakr (RA) so he asked her "What does this Man do here in your house?".
The lady replied.. "Wallahi my Son, I don't know, he comes every morning and
cleans the house for me makes me food and leaves.
Later when Abu Bakr (RA) had passed away, Omar (RA) took care of the Woman. She said to him: “Did your friend die?" Omar (RA) replied: "How did you know?" She replied: "You brought me dates and did not remove the seeds from them.
Omar (RA) crouched on his knees with tears in his eyes and said his famous saying "The caliphs are tired after you, O Abu Bakr.
