Amongst all the chemicals tingling at his nose, Jungkook picks up a very familiar yet unusually intense smell.
His head whips to his lab partner, an omega.
"Taehyung, your heat is gonna start soon"
Taehyung drops his pipette, looking at the vampire with pink dusting his cheeks
Later a blushing Jungkook escorts an equally blushing (if not more) Taehyung back to his dorm since he didn't want the omega to walk back alone in his heat.
Taehyung shyly thanks him at the door,"Thanks for walking me back. I totally forgot that my heat was due soon"
The vampire stutters through his next words,"It's alright! J-just call if you need me for anything"
When Taehyung looks up at him all wide eyed, progressively getting pinker, he scrambles to explain,"Supplies I mean! Of course supplies. If you need any",he coughs in his hand.
Taehyung coos internally.
He always found Jungkook kinda intimidating, all quiet and broody. A vampire on top of that.
Who knew all it took is an omega in heat to get him all flustered like that.
"No I'm fine, thanks again",they bid each other goodbye with matching shy smiles.
