"Baby, can I film you?"
"No. Silly." Jongin laughs, fascinated at his boyfriend's scandalized reaction. "Just you, in my bed, cuddling with me."
"Awww. Who would have thought that the famous boxer Kim Kai is such a gentle man?" Kyungsoo teases, snatching his camera
sitting atop of his boyfriend's side table before joining the awaiting boxer on his bed.
"You love me like this."
"No." Kyungsoo shakes his head, smiling. "I love you whatever and whoever you are." Jongin would be lying if he says his heart didnt skipped a beat because
of his boyfriend's words.
"C-can I not go to Russia? Can I just stay and make love with you for the rest of our life?"
"As much as I love that, I'm afraid that my ass would apparently give up."
Kyungsoo is kneeling in between his boyfriend's thighs, figuring out how the
newly bought camera turns on.
He would love to cherish simple moments like this, that Jongin is simply the Jongin he met four years ago, the same gentle Jongin who clings unto him, a baby Jongin who loves receiving love from Kyungsoo and returning it a million times stronger.
A pout slowly forming in his lips, still unable to bring the camera to life. Impatient, Kyungsoo handed the device into Jongin's hand and decided to snuggle against the latter's chest, just because.
"There. It's on."
"I hate that camera." Jongin chuckled and Kyungsoo's body
shakes against the rising and falling of the boxer's chest.
"You're anti-technology that's why.."
The boxer proceeds on doing what he wanted, letting Kyungsoo cuddle him while he let the camera rolling, allowing the device records everything. From the simple touches, the
biggest smile to the passionate kisses they share.
He's going to miss Kyungsoo's warmth badly. Two months in Russia without touching and holding his boyfriend, Jongin is afraid he won't last long.
The thought of being away from Kyungsoo hurts more than any punches that
lands in his body. Jongin shivered while imagining living a life without Kyungsoo.
"What's wrong?" The older notices, taking the camera from Jongin's grip and records the boxer's teary eyes.
"Nothing. I just love you, I guess."
Jongin rolls his eyes, snatches
the camera and throws it to god knows where before hovering his boyfriend.
Their eyes met in no time, eyes sparkling with desire, with overflowing adoration and emotions. And slowly, Jongin finds himself drowning, a good kind of feeling suffocating him.
Not himself, Jongin
brings his finger and started tracing Kyungsoo's face, tattoing every outline of his skin inside his brain. Kyungsoo's beautiful and Jongin's damn lucky.
"What's wrong love?"
"I love you Kyungsoo.."
"I know. But why are you crying? I haven't given you the ring yet."
Crying is a form of weakness they say, but as Jongin sobs while clinging on Kyungsoo's neck, the latter couldn't be any more proud of his boyfriend. Jongin randomly showing Kyungsoo his tears is an act of bravery.
Fingers sliding against Jongin's scalp, Kyungsoo allowed his
fingers play with his hair, comforting his lover in a way he knows that could calm him. Kyungsoo did not say anything, only smiling as he listens to Jongin's subsiding cries. The boxer is slowly falling asleep he could tell.
"Dont worry baby. I love you too."
The plane is preparing for take off and Jongin's all cozy and comfortable in his seat, currently texting his boyfriend some cheesy ass texts that Kyungsoo doesn't seem to mind.
'check your camera' Kyungsoo had sent. Not bothering to reply, Jongin lets go of his phone to
grab for his camera instead. It's too early to miss Kyungsoo but he'd love to see his boyfriend's face.
But it's Jongin's sleeping, handsome face that greeted him upon switching it on. It's from the morning before where Jongin fell asleep after crying his emotions out.
Kyungsoo's deep snickers and giggling fills in the background. He must be enjoying doodling penis shaped drawings across Jongin's face. But it's okay, the sound of his laughters worth a million fold than Jongin's face getting vandalized with a permanent marker.
"What are you
up to?" Yixing asks and Jongin is quick to hide the camera from his manager's sight. "Oh please dont tell me you made an adult video."
"I wont do that to Kyungsoo, he's too pure for that." Jongin deadpans, holding unto his seat when a strong turbulence hits the aircraft.
Yixing gulps down his worry while Jongin returns to his camera to watch what Kyungsoo had recorder while he's enjoying his slumber.
A smile would creep to his lips, stretching from ear to ear and the constant chuckle shows how happy he is. Kyungsoo and his playfulness.
God, Jongin fell for the perfect man didnt he?
"Jongin, you might want to buckle up?" Yixing whispers.
"It's just a turbulence hyung. We've been through a stronger one." Jongin smiles confidently, neck turning back to his lap.
To be honest, he's scared as fuck and within
he's been praying earnestly for a safe landing. He cant die here yet, not when he left someone holding his heart, not when Kyungsoo's home, praying for his safety until his return.
He'll make it through and gets home and propose to Kyungsoo, get married and have kids.
Raindrops began to pour from the dark sky, one by one hitting Kyungsoo's skin. He looks up the sky, extending a palm into the air and let the liquid drops against it. It's raining and he's got no umbrella with him.
He started putting speed on his pace, races his way to the train
station and excited to get home.
Due to the downpour, the train is fully packed when Kyungsoo hops in, but despite of the crowd, he manages to occupy a vacant seat. He sat with his leg crossed against the other.
The train is a little noisy than the usual. It could be because of
the incoming typhoon or-
"Kai is a strong boxer. I know he's going home with victory." Kyungsoo could not help but to smile hearing the faith of his countrymen has for his boyfriend.
Right. Jongin is on his flight. And has four hours left before he lands to Moscow.
Kyungsoo looks at the window, the rain is getting heavier so he fishes out his phone opting to text Jongin.
Seeing the offline sign next to his boyfriend's name, Kyungsoo exited the app and checked Moscow's weather. Frowning when the weather forecast says a storm is bound to
hit the country. His heart jumped in fear for his boyfriend.
But all fears melting away when Jongin's name along with his pretty sleepy face came into the screen. Without further ado, Kyungsoo answers the facetime request.
"Hey where are you beautiful?" Sorrounded by the crowd,
Kyungsoo can't help the flush in his cheeks.
"Train. Im on my way home."
"You closed the store this early?"
"Yes. Its just I miss you and I'd rather mope than to serve my customer bland food.."
"Your cooking is fantastic! What are you saying?"
"I know it is.."
"Did you locked the door? The back door? Did you turn off the stove?"
"Oh fuck- i'm not sure if I switched on the security alarm.. I should go back."
"No, leave it baby. Its okay."
"I cant. Hold on, I'll call you in twenty.."
"Kyungsoo, I love you.."
"Hmmmm." Kyungsoo hums,
not hearing Jongin's words as he, along with the passengers started to get ready to leave the train as its nearing the station. "Baby, I call you back."
"I love-" The phone call ended before Kyungsoo could reply, a stranger accidentally hits his arm
causing for his phone to fell unto the ground.
Fortunately, the intensity of the fall didn't wrecked Kyungsoo's phone. Immediately after checking up on it, Kyungsoo hides his phone back in his backpack.
Ten minutes later and one train ride afrer, Kyungsoo is walking out of the
subway. Speedwalking, he headed back to his restaurant.
But then he notices that his front door is unlocked. Kyungsoo thinks harder, rethinking whether he forgot to lock it or-
Footsteps can be heard inside and despite of fear for his life, he unhesitantly walks inside.
"Hello- Who are-"
But the intruder moves faster than Kyungsoo, attacking the restaurant owner with a knife in his hand, and mercilessly stabbed Kyungsoo countless times.
Bloody, he fell into the ground with bloods coming out of his mouth. There is no pain he can feel, just
numbness in his body and a vision turning blurry.
His phone rings and Kyungsoo struggled on reaching it.
It's Jongin, probably checking up on him. With all the mustered strength, he answers the call.
"Baby," Jongin's voice is calmer than usual but the screaming doesn't
left unnoticed. "I love you baby and Im going home to you no matter what.."
"J-jongin.." Kyungsoo is growing weaker as the blood continues gushing out of his stomach.
"I'm okay. Im not scared at all. Whatever comes to the news j-just trust me that I'll come home to you."
"J-jongin... I-is there a problem baby?"
"U-uh, j-just a turbulence, can you talk to me more?"
"I-I cant.. B-blood.." Kyungsoo coughs and the vomitting of blood gets worst with every passing second.
"What? S-shit baby," The line either gets choppy or Kyungsoo's hearing began
failing. "I-i love you so much.."
"M-me too.. I-I love.." His consciousness is slipping, Kyungsoo's uncertain whether he's going to make it alive. All he knows that he needed to tell Jongin that- "I love you Jongin. See you in.."
Coldness embraces Kyungsoo, warmth starting
to slip off his body until a blinding light comes for him.
