"Jungkook hyung!" Jihoon pouts, for the hundredth time since he first brought the matter up. Jungkook knows exactly what he's going to say. "Please take me to meet Appa. Mom would never."
Jungkook sighs. He just wanted some money on the side to take care of his extra expenses. That's why he decided to teach kids art during his free hours – studying law all the time is boring anyway. But here he is, being nagged by one of his favorite students.
Being nagged to do something that probably shouldn't be done. Jungkook doesn't even know if Jihoon is allowed to meet his dad. He knows absolutely nothing about this man. Plus, if something happens, it would be a huge responsibility to take.
Even if Jihoon says that his father is the nicest person ever. Jungkook knows better than to do something like this simply based on the whim and opinion of a ten year old. But then, Jihoon starts to cry. For the first time in all the months Jungkook has known him, he cries.
And then he does these intense puppy eyes – Jungkook knows they're going to work. He knows they're going to work because it's a tactic he's often practiced himself. And he sighs. "Jihoon, please." "Hyung!" Jihoon latches onto his arm. "Please!"
Jungkook sighs, louder this time, and falls back on the sofa. He thinks for a few minutes, can't believe he's actually considering this, and then looks at Jihoon. "If your mother finds out and I get into trouble, I won't teach you art anymore." It's a lie, he adores the kid.
Jihoon nearly shoots up from where he's crouched down. "Really?" He buzzes with excitement. "Thank you, hyung. I promise, I won't tell eomma!" Jungkook throws his head back. Why must this happen to him?
"But before I take you, I'll meet him first and talk to him and see if it's okay." Jungkook tells him. "Work out a time and place and then execute the plan. Okay, Jihoon?" Jihoon nods. Everything is fine by him at this moment. So Jungkook makes up his mind.
And that's how he ends up outside a law firm on a Monday morning on his bike. He looks at the address scribbled in Jihoon's handwriting. This should be the place. "So the man's a lawyer." Jungkook hums, wondering if he can somehow get connections for his own career later on.
He's studying law, in his last year now. Some connections and networking could really come in handy, he thinks. Maybe this isn't the worst thing after all.
But he doesn't know what his dad looks like. There's no picture at Jihoon's place, all signs of the man erased. Jihoon's mother must really hate him. And Jihoon doesn't own a phone where he could show him a photograph. Jungkook just knows the name. Kim Taehyung.
He just knows Jihoon's parents divorced when he was seven. And three years for a kid is a long time to go without seeing a parent. At least Jungkook thinks this is the case with Jihoon. He parks his bike, gets off and tries to figure this whole thing out.
He enters the firm with an uncertain attitude, and is immediately met with curious looks. He hates being watched. Hates attention. So he just pulls his hat lower and straightaway walks towards the reception.
"Umm, hi. Is there a Mr. Kim Taehyung here?" The receptionist widens her eyes. "Do you have an appointment?" Jungkook shakes his head. The receptionist shrugs. "You need one. You can't just walk in and demand to meet someone, kid."
Before Jungkook can reply, a man passes by and the receptionist stands up and bows in a greeting which goes unnoticed. Jungkook turns to look, and the man, whose back he can see is on the phone, and is gesturing with his fingers for someone to come over.
Jungkook turns back to the receptionist, and she just shrugs. "What?" "He'll see you, I guess." "That was Kim Taehyung?" Jungkook asks.
Jungkook was expecting just a normal middle aged lawyer who works overtime at a firm. But the man who just passed by looked like he owns the whole place. Makes sense now, why he would require an appointment to meet the man, he guesses.
He follows him outside – still hasn't seen his face, but the man is dressed in a loose beige suit and grey pants, and his hair looks incredibly soft for someone his age. When Jungkook gets closer and hears him speak on the phone, he can't help but feel something. It's so deep.
Jungkook is only just done thinking about the voice when the man turns, and pulls his mask down. Jungkook's eyes go wide for a bit. It's shock, as well as a pleasant feeling. He can't believe THIS is Jihoon's dad.
The man is so handsome, features sharp and so symmetrical that Jungkook has to blink a few times. He doesn't look like a lawyer at all – he looks like someone who would work in the film or the modelling industry. And Jungkook won't lie – this man is mad attractive.
The way his thin, golden – rimmed glasses sit on his nose isn't helping Jungkook's case either. He has a hard time trying to remember why he's here.
"Yes?" The man says, attention now fully on Jungkook. The way he says it, Jungkook just wants to squirm and sit down for a bit or something. He tries not to think about how this is his student's dad.
"Uh, I'm..." Jungkook fumbles. "My name is Jungkook. I am a law student, but that's not why I'm here." Taehyung raises a brow. "Actually, Jihoon..." Jungkook begins, unsure how to frame his sentences. But the expression on Taehyung's face switches immediately.
"Hop in." He motions to his car with whatever expensive flagship phone he's holding in his hand, and climbs in himself. At this point, Jungkook doesn't even know what he's doing so he just goes with it.
It's a Cadillac, Jungkook knows this much. The interiors are so luxurious that Jungkook really begins to wonder how much this man makes. But his thoughts are then interrupted. "What about Jihoon?" Taehyung asks, eyes on the road as he puts on his seatbelt and starts the car.
"Where are we going?" Jungkook asks, panicking a little inside but not showing it. "Just a little drive around town as we talk." Taehyung says. "Now. Jihoon." Jungkook shifts in place, putting his seatbelt on. "I'm his art teacher."
"Okay. And?" "He has been really insistent on meeting you." Taehyung's hands tighten on the wheel, Jungkook notices. His expression stiffens a bit too, before he sighs. "What about his mother?" He says, and a dry laugh escapes his mouth. "She wouldn't allow it."
"She, umm..." Jungkook begins. "She doesn't have to know." Taehyung smiles in a manner that's actually closer to a small smirk. "And you think you can pull that off?" He turns once, and the smile almost makes Jungkook blush.
Jungkook doesn't know if he imagines it, but Taehyung's tone is kind of flirty. Coupled with the expression – the way he's looking at Jungkook over the glasses, it's definitely at least a little flirty. And so, Jungkook forgets to respond.
"Jungkook?" Taehyung asks. "That's what you said your name was, right?" "Uhh yes." Jungkook snaps back into the conversation. "Yeah, I think I can manage it. Jihoon's mother would let him out with me for one day, I think." Taehyung hums, eyes back on the road.
"Does Jihoon like you?" "I think so." Jungkook says, biting his lips. "He enjoys spending time with me." "That's nice." Taehyung says. "And his mother trusts you?"
"I think so...?" "And you'd break her trust like that? To bring him to me?" Taehyung looks at him again, and yeah, the tone is definitely flirty. And the look is definitely flirty too.
"Uhh.." Jungkook fumbles a bit. "Now when you put it like that–" A soothing laugh reverberates inside the car then, and Taehyung looks delighted. Even the sound of his laugh is sexy, Jungkook thinks. "I was just messing with you." Taehyung says, and then adds. "Jungkook ssi."
Jungkook sighs in relief, but he still feels bad. He doesn't want to break anyone's trust. "If you can plan something out, we can always fix a date." Taehyung says, distracting him out of his thoughts. Jungkook nods. "Okay. His mom should never find out. She'll fire me."
"Not saying that she'd find out." Taehyung says, head tilted a little as he drives on, a soft smile on his lips. "But just in case she does, I'll hire you instead. Don't worry." Jungkook's heart and dick react to that sentence, both at the same time.
Taehyung is so fucking attractive. He looks successful, he's so good looking, and he's so confident and commanding. What's not to like?
"Hire me? At your firm?" Jungkook chuckles nervously. "But you don't even know me, Mr. Kim." "I do know you're a sweet guy with a soft spot for my son. That's enough information to start on." Taehyung turns to look at him and offers a friendly smile. "And please, hyung is fine."
Jungkook finds that his breathing is getting a little unsteady – that the air inside the car keeps getting hotter. "If you don't mind..." Jungkook gathers the courage. "How old are you? You really don't look like you have a ten year old." Taehyung chuckles again.
"Had him at 27." He smiles, and tells Jungkook. "Do the math." Jungkook just nods and leans back in his seat. That's kind of young to have a kid these days – in Jungkook's opinion, but it also means that Taehyung is twelve years older than him.
"So, take this." Taehyung instructs, and hands Jungkook his card. "Contact me after you have a plan. And tell me three days prior so I can make some time." Jungkook nods, and takes the card. "Also..."
"Yeah?" "Could you please tell him that I miss him and love him a lot?" Jungkook feels so bad. "Of course, Mr. Kim. Uhh, hyung." Jungkook says. "I'll tell him."
"And are you free this evening?" Taehyung asks, out of the blue. "Yeah, I can make some time." Jungkook says, confused. "Why?" "Come back to my office at around 9 p.m., Jungkook ssi. Let's have a little chat."
"About the plan...?" Jungkook asks. Because, there's no way it's what he's thinking. Taehyung does that sexy, lopsided smile again. "Sure."
Jungkook tries to hide a blush, looking away. His cheeks are painted red as he tries not to melt under Taehyung's gaze. "Alright." Jungkook manages. "We'll.. we'll have a chat."
That's how he ends up in front of the law firm again that night, but it looks s different than it did during the day. Most of the lights are out inside the building, except a few here and there. Jungkook parks his bike and makes his way to the gate again, breathing heavily.
He's nervous, but there's a certain excitement at the thought of meeting Taehyung for no reason except that he asked him to. It's a little strange because they don't know each other yet. But, whatever. Taehyung is hot. And Jihoon doesn't have to know about this.
There's a different person at the reception now, a young male who's almost dozing off. Jungkook taps on the reception desk, which jerks him out of his sleepiness. "Uh, yes?" The male asks, slightly annoyed.
"I'm here to see Mr. Kim." Jungkook says. "And before you ask if I have an appointment, he himself asked me to come meet him." The boy looks more awake suddenly, standing up. "Wait, are you Jeon Jungkook ssi?"
Jungkook nods. "Okay. 7th floor, when you exit the elevator, turn left and walk until you reach his office." Jungkook hums in acknowledgement, and thanks and then bows to the boy before leaving for the elevator.
He follows the directions and ends up at a door made of expensive looking wood, with a golden plate across it. Kim Taehyung Advocate & Founder. Jungkook feels butterflies because somehow, even that is hot to just read.
Jungkook can't see anything inside, because the glass on the door is hazy. But he can hear Taehyung's muffled voice – he's probably on the phone. He waits until the voice goes down to knock. Once, twice. Two small knocks. "Come in, Jungkook ssi." Comes the reply.
Jungkook has to take a deep breath before he enters. Not that he's a newbie or anything, but Jungkook has never been in this situation (or so he thinks) with someone older, this successful and this confident. Taehyung makes him nervous. But for now, Jungkook is fine with it.
He turns the knob and enters, and he wishes he were given some sort of a heads up because Taehyung is in here, suit off, shirt unbuttoned down to his mid-torso and sleeves rolled up. Jungkook just about chokes at the sight.
Jungkook almost fumbles but catches himself before he speaks, steadies his voice and then opens his mouth. "Hello, Mr. Kim." He bows. "I told you to call me hyung." Taehyung says, as he looks through a file, brows drawn together in concentration.
Jungkook, in contrast to Taehyung, is dressed in a very casual, all black outfit. His baseball cap still hides half of his face and his physique is buried in his oversized clothes. "Sorry. I mean, hyung." Jungkook corrects himself. "What did you want to see me about?"
The smile returns to Taehyung's face, and the file finds its way back to the table as Taehyung turns to look at him, giving him his full attention. "Have a seat, Jungkook ssi." Taehyung says. "You look sharp."
"You can call me just Jungkook." Jungkook says, lips pressed together in hopes of hiding his flustered expression. "And thank you." He's received this compliment so many times before, but never has it been spoken like this before. 'You look sharp.' Generation gap, he thinks.
But he quite likes the way Taehyung talks. "Alright, Jungkook." Taehyung says, gesturing to a rotating office chair he wants Jungkook to sit it. He himself leans against his desk, and crosses his arms. "I hope it's okay that I'm taking up some of your precious time."
"Oh, sure. Not a problem." Jungkook is quick to say. But he's still uncertain as to why he's here. And so, he asks. Again. "Hyung..." Jungkook begins. "Sorry for asking again but..."
Taehyung dismisses him with the wave of jis hand as he makes a phone call, and orders two cappuccinos. He looks at Jungkook once to order if that's fine with him, and Jungkook nods. Taehyung then ends the phone call, slides his phone onto the table, and crosses his arms again.
"You are okay with being here, right?" Taehyung asks him, that ever present soft smile, bordering on a smirk on his lips. "At this hour? With me, a stranger? I hope you're not uncomfortable." Jungkook shakes his head. "No, it's fine, really. Was just curious."
Taehyung laughs, and Jungkook stares in awe. He's ridiculously beautiful, even as he laughs. Especially as he laughs, head thrown back in delight, eyes disappearing into crescents. "I'm an advocate." Taehyung says. "The last thing I'd do is kidnap you or something."
"No, that's not what I meant." Jungkook sheepishly smiles. "I'm sorry if it came across that way." "It's fine, I was just kidding. I just thought I could use some company tonight." He smiles. "I had a feeling I would enjoy yours. And rest assured that you'll like mine, too."
How do you like it so far? Please interact and leave qrts so I know! Thank you so much for reading. I will update more soon! β™‘
Jungkook just stares for a moment, heart hammering in his chest. He doesn't even know how to respond because this is definitely a borderline date. "Uh, I'm..." He fumbles this time. "And we'll discuss the plan." Taehyung adds, voice teasing. Jungkook eases, and smiles.
"You're cute." Taehyung says as he walks around the table to go sit in his chair. When he does, he looks even more powerful, commanding even more attention. "Thank you." Jungkook says. "I'm not usually this.... awkward." "Oh?" Taehyung frowns. "Am I making you uncomfortable?"
The only thing Jungkook feels right now is intimidation and attraction. There's absolutely no negatives, except that he has never quite been around a man like this. "Absolutely not." Jungkook tries to sound sure. "I'm just...a little confused." Taehyung quirks a brow.
"We're not here to discuss the plan at all, are we?" He finally manages. Taehyung rests his chin upon his hand, fondly watching Jungkook talk. "We can, if you want to. Have you come up with an idea yet?" Jungkook shakes his head. "No, but I will soon. Haven't met Jihoon yet."
"Okay, good. Now that that's settled, and my work for the night is done." Taehyung leans forward, elbows on the desk. "Do you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend?" Jungkook bites back a smile. "You should have asked that a few steps earlier."
"You should have controlled your face instead of ogling at me this morning, then." Taehyung smirks. "What makes you think I didn't notice?" TouchΓ©, Jungkook thinks. Jungkook shakes his head then. "No. I'm single."
"Great. I have one more question." Taehyung talks like it's a business deal, a case in a court of law. "Would you be interested in a drive around the city?" "Now?" Jungkook asks. "Now."
"Sure." Jungkook's slowly feeling more and more at ease, and his confidence is building back up. "I would love to." "Very well, then." Taehyung gets up. "Let's grab our coffee and go."
It's the same Cadillac again, and it looks even more expensive at night with all the intricate neon lighting across the control panel. They're seated, wordless, while Taehyung sorts through a final bunch of emails and fastens his seatbelt. Jungkook does, too.
And when Taehyung finally starts the car, he also starts another conversation. "So. Tell me more about you." Taehyung instructs. "Where are you from?" "Busan." Jungkook says. "But I've lived here almost all my life."
Taehyung nods. "Family? Any siblings?" "My parents and older brother." "Favorite food to eat late at night?" "Spicy ramyeon, I guess?" "Favorite color?" "Black. Anything neutral, really." "Favorite music?" "Anything that makes me feel something."
"Since when have you been into art?" "Since I can remember." Jungkook says. "Do you always ask so many questions?" "Maybe." Taehyung answers, eyes still on the road. "Have you ever kissed someone inside a car?"
Jungkook's breath catches in his throat, unable to wrap his head around the question. Did Taehyung just say that? Taehyung, meanwhile, smiles now– a knowing, dangerous smile, and turns his neck to look at Jungkook.
Jungkook tries to calm his heart down, acting like Taehyung's gaze isn't piercing through him. "No.. not really." Taehyung turns to look at the road again, but the smile never leaves his face. "Have you ever...kissed? Anyone?"
Jungkook blushes, and huffs in embarassment and slight annoyance. "Of course I have. Why wouldn't I?" Taehyung shrugs, biting back a smile. "You looked incredibly nervous at the mention of kissing."
Jungkook feels flustered. His clothes suddenly feel warmer and the space inside the car feels too small, too hot. Too full of tension. It's not helping that Taehyung has this half smirk on his face, looking handsome even while driving. Jungkook wouldn't mind kissing him.
"Have....." Jungkook begins, idly running a finger over the interiors of the car window. "Have... You?" Taehyung's smile grows. "Inside cars? Or inside this car?" Jungkook snorts, and rolls his eyes. Taehyung is funny. And effortlessly charming.
"Have you?" Jungkook asks, trying to stay confident. Taehyung hums in his ocean deep voice, as if he's thinking, and then turns to make eye contact with Jungkook. Then, he speaks. "I might."
Jungkook doesn't look away this time, holding the gaze even though his chest feels like it's going to burst. Taehyung looks insanely handsome like this, soft hair falling in wisps over his forehead and the glasses sitting low on the bridge of his nose.
The street lights illuminate the contours of his face like outlines, but he can still make his features out in the dim lighting of Taehyung's car. He's so attractive. And a smooth talker. Jungkook can't blame himself.
And little does he know, Taehyung has been having similar thoughts about him. About how Jungkook is one of the prettiest, most handsome guys Taehyung has come across – and he's come across a lot of guys since his divorce.
Ever since he saw him this morning at the reception, asking for him, he hasn't stopped thinking about him. Taehyung likes younger guys, but he likes this one especially.
He'd normally never even speak to anyone without an appointment but Jungkook – he suddenly showed up, asked for him and looked so incredibly handsome with his all black outfit, tattoos peeking through his sleeve and the cap that covered his eyes.
So different from the other guys in and around Seoul. He looks rebellious, like he does what he wants. He's just Taehyung's type, at least on the surface. He didn't even care what Jungkook was there for. He just knew he wanted him.
The mention of Jihoon came as a surprise – He wasn't expecting anything of that sort. But somehow, it made his heart warm that his son is fond of Jungkook. It sounded like Jungkook is fond of him too. And he offered to arrange for Jihoon to meet him.
Taehyung likes him. Taehyung already likes him a lot. And this evening, he looks even better than he did this morning. Taehyung can't help but notice the way Jungkook's t-shirt clings to his torso. He looks toned.
He snaps out of his thoughts when Jungkook finally answers. "Inside a car? Or this car?" Jungkook asks. Taehyung chuckles. "Would you like to discuss that over some samgyeopsal and drinks?"
"I would very much like that." "Good." Taehyung says. His questions don't end yet, though. "Do you work out?" Jungkook rolls his head back, trying not to smile. "Yes. Is this a court of law?"
"No, it's just really evident because you have a nice fucking body, Jungkook." Taehyung smiles, and looks at Jungkook once to check before turning back to look at the road. Jungkook blushes like a fool, trying his hardest not to combust. "Thank you. Hyung."
"Do you mind it when strangers ask you questions about kissing?" Taehyung slips in, and turns to gauge the reaction on Jungkook's face. He doesn't want to make him uncomfortable. Wants to make sure they're on the same page. "Depends." Jungkook says.
"On?" Taehyung asks. "On whether the person asking is a hotshot lawyer." "I see." Taehyung nods, smiling. "And do you need a place to stay over tonight in case you feel too lazy to go home?"
With the way Jungkook's dick is already twitching just from the way Taehyung has with words, he thinks he might. His pants feel a little strained already and he tries subtly to hide it. Taehyung seems to have an eagle eye though. Every. Fucking. Time.
"Aw." Taehyung says. "That's cute." Jungkook is confused at first. "What... what's cute?" Taehyung just glances straight at Jungkook's crotch, then back up at his eyes, and smirks. He looks back at the road like it's nothing, but Jungkook feels hot below his abdomen.
Thankfully, the embarassment doesn't last for long because Taehyung is pulling up in front of a restaurant. Jungkook heaves a sigh of relief. They get out of the car and walk inside, Jungkook letting Taehyung lead.
It's... fantastic. Jungkook, even in his most bizarre dreams, could have never imagined getting along with someone almost a generation apart. But Taehyung breaks all his misconceptions.
He talks about anything and everything. It's like Jungkook – or any person for that matter could be a mold, and Taehyung would flow right in with his conversation skills to form the perfect shape. He's a total charmer. And Jungkook is impressed.
They talk about Jungkook's uni, Taehyung's work, and their biggest link and common point – Jihoon. Taehyung tells him childhood stories about Jihoon, which Jungkook can totally picture, and he lets Taehyung in on the more recent details. They even sort of figure a plan out.
Things get super interesting at one point. They're seated at one of the best tables in the restaurant, a more private area than most of it. The table is at a higher level and in a corner, curtains all around and it's not really visible from most parts of the restaurant.
It's after they've ordered a second serving of one of Taehyung's favorite kind of noodles, cooked and plated in a very exotic manner. It's also fast becoming Jungkook's favorite.
Taehyung gets up from his seat across from Jungkook and comes and sits down next to him. They're basically just squished together in the seating that's meant for one person. Jungkook is surprised, but he doesn't mind.
Doesn't mind the way their thighs are touching. Doesn't mind the way Taehyung is so close to him he might as well sit on his lap. Doesn't mind when Taehyung swirls up a bite of noodles with a pair of chopsticks, and brings it in front of Jungkook's mouth.
"This tastes decent, doesn't it?" He asks – kind of states, and looks into Jungkook's eyes. "Have some more." And even though Jungkook thinks he's getting hard again, he doesn't back down. He opens his mouth, takes in the mouthful Taehyung feeds him, never breaking eye contact.
"It's good." He says, after he's chewed and swallowed it. There's some sauce at the corner of his lips from the noodles, and before he even realises it, Taehyung brings his hands up and swipes his thumb across the corner of Jungkook's lips.
Jungkook is only beginning to process the touch, when Taehyung puts the tip of his thumb in his mouth, tastes the sauce from Jungkook's lips, and of course – not for once does he break eye contact. "Somehow." He says. "The sauce tastes better than ever before."
And there. Jungkook's pants are uncomfortable now, stretched against his erection. He can't believe he got hard just from Taehyung's action, his gaze and the sultry tone of his voice. What is this man?!
Jungkook sits there, dumbfounded for a few seconds with his wide eyes that had just followed Taehyung's thumb to his lips. Taehyung has these beautiful, plush lips. And Jungkook wants to kiss them. He makes the mistake of gulping. Of course, Taehyung notices.
Taehyung smirks a little, leaning his head against his palm now, wordlessly saying a lot through the look on his face. He then dips his chopsticks in the noodles and deliberately makes sure that there's some sauce smothered on his lips while he takes it into his mouth.
Jungkook gulps again. He knows Taehyung is doing it on purpose from the way he's staring at him and from the slower than usual, controlled pace. He wants to get himself and Taehyung into a room. Maybe, even his car.
"You're cruel." Jungkook chuckles, forcing himself to look away for a bit, tongue in his cheek as he tries to think of anything else and get rid of the erection. They're in a restaurant for crying out loud.
"Oh yeah?" Taehyung smiles, and then gently holds Jungkook's chin with his fingers and turns his face towards himself. He then uses his chopsticks to point at his lips, and says. "Here, taste the sauce, tell me if I'm right."
"Fuck." Jungkook lets the curse fall from his lips, and it comes out with a shaky, nervous laugh. "Hyung, why are you doing this in a restaurant?" "Would you rather have me do it in my car?" Taehyung casually asks, trying to pick up more noodles, eyes focused on his plate now.
Jungkook sighs. "You know I would. Okay? Stop teasing me now." Taehyung can't help but smile. "Yeah?" Jungkook huffs, a little annoyed. "You already saw proof. My pants were a little tight to begin with, anyway." Taehyung smiles again. "Eat up. I'll ask for the bill."
And fifteen minutes later, they're out of their seats. Taehyung is really casual in the way he walks off, Jungkook left behind – until he turns, looks over his glasses, and holds his hand out. "Come on." He says, asking for Jungkook's hand.
Jungkook takes it, biting his lips in order to somehow avoid looking as nervous as he's feeling. When he does, Taehyung clasps his fingers around Jungkook's palm, and it's so warm and comforting, that Jungkook doesn't want to let go. At all. Ever.
Taehyung guides him to the car, and opens the door for him, motioning for him to get in. Then, he climbs in himself into the passenger's seat. They put on their seatbelts and Taehyung starts the car, as Jungkook waits with bated breath. His heart is beating so fast.
For a few seconds, the car moves in silence. Nobody says a word. Taehyung has his eyes on the road, while Jungkook is reduced to a bundle of nerves. From what he's seen so far, Taehyung might want to make out at any given moment now. He's so unpredictable.
And Jungkook – he wants to kiss him too. Thankfully, his erection is gone now but with Taehyung next to him, the risk is always there. Taehyung then suddenly turns on some music. A slow, romantic, jazz song. And as if on cue, it starts to drizzle outside.
It's so fucking romantic. A love song inside the car, and rain outside. A hot man next to him, and the promise of a kiss. Jungkook is feeling hot again.
It's when he's silently wishing he doesn't evaporate or something, that Taehyung's deep voice cuts through the silence again. "Why are you so tensed up?" He says, voice steady. "Relax, Jungkook. I'm not going to eat you." "No, I'm just–" "Unless you want me to."
Jungkook gulps. Taehyung says it in a flat tone, voice not even shaking and Jungkook wonders how he does it. "So, I'd like to ask you about boundaries. I hope you get what I mean." Taehyung says, then. "How much is okay? I don't want to do anything to make you uncomfortable."
It's okay, this is fine. Jungkook is fine. He can do this. "I'm fine with anything." He says coolly, trying not to sound nervous. He clenches his fists to stop them from shaking. "Don't worry."
"Yeah?" Taehyung asks, glancing at Jungkook once. "Mhm hmm." Jungkook nods, eyes on the road. Before he can even blink, Taehyung's hand is on his thigh, gently slapping it at first and then rubbing, moving upwards. He smiles, and says. "Is this okay then, Jungkook?"
Jungkook flinches a bit out of shock first, but Taehyung's huge hand against his thigh feels so good. Jungkook is getting hard again. And he really can't control the way his head rolls back against the seat and a breath escapes his breath.
"Pretty." Taehyung says, stealing a quick glance. "You look pretty like that." "And you're driving." Jungkook teases. "Maybe you should focus on the road." Taehyung laughs. "I drive with one hand all the time, Jungkook. I'll be just fine."
Jungkook smiles, feeling a little fond and giddy for no reason. Actually, that's a lie. He knows the reason is sitting right beside him. So he turns his head, and lets himself look at Taehyung. Lets himself keep looking without looking away if caught. And he does get caught.
"Like the view that much?" "Seoul is a beautiful city." Jungkook shrugs. "And the hotshot lawyer driving the car?" Taehyung asks, eyes back on the road. "What about him?"
Jungkook suppresses a smile and looks away. "Gosh, you're ridiculous." "Yeah?" Taehyung asks again, voice low, deep and gentle. And just as gently, the hand moves to Jungkook's cheek, caressing along his jaw.
Taehyung brings the car to a halt. The street is mostly empty, and they're somewhere far off from the main areas anyway. Taehyung now turns to face Jungkook, hand still gently touching his cheeks. "C'me here."
And this is it, Jungkook thinks. He slowly leans forward without much hesitation – Taehyung's aura is oddly comforting. Their eyes meet, and Taehyung brings his other hand up to cup Jungkook's face in both hands now. "You're beautiful."
"And you're killing me." Jungkook finally says, voice coming out as a whisper. "Hmm?" Taehyung's lips graze Jungkook's jaw. "Am I?" "Yes." Jungkook's eyes close on their own accord. Taehyung gently bites at the angle of Jungkook's jaw then, making the latter shiver.
And moments later, Taehyung's lips are on Jungkook's. Taehyung kisses exactly the way he talks – smooth, swift and gentle. His hand expertly grazes Jungkook's jaw, while the other curls around his waist. And Jungkook – Jungkook is just gone.
Easily one of the best kissers he's encountered. He can't help the way one of his hands fists into the fabric of Taehyung's shirt, and the other grabs his face, just the way Taehyung is grabbing his. Jungkook doesn't want to stop, and seems like Taehyung doesn't want to either.
But then the kiss grows deeper, and their bodies press up closer together. Jungkook is almost climbing onto Taehyung – he's losing himself in the kisses. Taehyung tastes so good, and he kisses even better.
"Eager?" Taehyung asks, looks into Jungkook's eyes and presses a quick kiss to his lips again. "You made me. This is all your doing." Jungkook whines, kissing Taehyung again. "Don't put it on me." And then, Jungkook's hand accidentally brushes against Taehyung's crotch.
He looks down, and then back up at Taehyung. "Hyung. You're hard too. Very." Taehyung sucks on Jungkook's bottom lip, sloppy but like a pro. "Mhm hmm. What shall we do about that?" Jungkook doesn't answer, just keeps kissing Taehyung back.
His hips are starting to thrust into Taehyung's, and Taehyung holds his waist and stills him. "Do you have anything important to do tonight?" Jungkook, annoyed at the loss of friction, whines. "No. I'm here with you now, aren't I?"
Taehyung chuckles at how cute Jungkook is. "Don't be mad." "I'm not." Jungkook sighs. "I'm trying to kiss you and you've been interrupting for the whole past minute." Taehyung caresses Jungkook's face again. "Come home with me."
Jungkook nods. "Okay. Can I kiss you in peace now?" Taehyung presses a kiss to Jungkook's pout, and smiles. "Let's go over to my place, you can kiss me all you want." Taehyung's lips are parted, and Jungkook takes the opportunity.
He kisses him again, darting his tongue inside. Taehyung kisses back, their tongues perfectly moving around each other. Kissing Taehyung feels so good. Jungkook really can't stop. "Save some energy." Taehyung teases in between kisses."
"Oh, I'm very energetic." Jungkook says. "Yeah?" Taehyung pecks him on the lips. "Yeah." "Good." Taehyung presses another kiss to his lips, and then moves to whisper in Jungkook's ears. "Because I'm going to fuck you, and we have all night."
Jungkook shivers at the words, but puts up a brave face, and kisses Taehyung back. It takes him a lot of will power to stop kissing Taehyung – they're both so worked up. So much so, that Jungkook doesn't even realize that his phone has been ringing.
The drive to Taehyung's apartment doesn't take too long. And boy, is it lavish. Jungkook can tell they're in one of the more posh areas of the city just from the way the roads and the houses are built. He's never been here before. Never needed or wanted to.
Taehyung parks, they get out and give each other some sneaky looks, and then, Taehyung bows to the security. Jungkook does too. When they're inside, they step into an elevator and Taehyung presses the buttons to his floor. And then, he literally slams Jungkook against the metal.
It's a vigorous, needy kiss and Taehyung's hands are going places they didn't even wander to inside the car. "Who's needy now?" Jungkook smirks in between kisses. Taehyung lightly smacks his ass. "Shh, don't be a brat."
The elevator door opens, and their mouths stay connected until they step into the corridor and reach Taehyung's apartment door. "Let me just..." Taehyung pants as he pulls away, hands still holding Jungkook's jaw gently. "The door. The lock." Just then, Jungkook's phone rings.
Irritated, he turns it off without even checking. But just as Taehyung opens the door and they get inside, there's a call from inside the house. "Appa!" Jungkook and Taehyung freeze in place. It's Jihoon's voice.
Taehyung's brain works faster than it figures out what's happening as he fixes his hair and glasses, and smoothens out his coat. He nudges Jungkook to do the same, as they stand there in shock. How the fuck is this even happening? It's definitely Jihoon's voice.
"Appaaaa!" The voice is coming closer. "Is that you?" "Jihoon-ah?" Taehyung gently says, clearing his throat. And then, Jihoon comes into view, and stops in his tracks. He's just as shocked. What is Jungkook doing here at this hour – with Jihoon's dad?
"Oh." Jihoon frowns. "Hyung?" "Jihoon-ah." Taehyung's voice breaks a little as he walks forward, kneels and pulls Jihoon to his chest. "My baby." Jungkook watches them, tries not to feel too emotional. It's the first time they're seeing each other in years. But how?
"How did you get here?" Taehyung speaks into the hug, never letting go of Jihoon. "Ah, my child. You've grown so much." "I..I ran from home." Jihoon says. "I still have a key from before." Jungkook and Taehyung are suddenly alarmed. "You what?" Jungkook says, panicking.
And then it hits him. He turns his phone back on, and looks at the notification that informs him about the twenty seven missed calls from Jihoon's mom. Fuck.
Jungkook panics, and makes the call immediately. Jihoon's mother picks up, and immediately starts to yell frantically. "I'm sorry, I didn't see." Jungkook apologizes. "Yes, he's with me. Yes. Yes. Yeah, sure. I'm so sorry. Yeah, sure. Good night." And the phone call is done.
Jungkook heaves a huge sigh of relief, and then turns to Jihoon. "Jihoon-ah, what the hell?" He says, desperately. "Do you know what could have happened? And how did nobody stop you from getting in?"
Jihoon looks at Jungkook, his sharp eyes constricted and scared, and now Jungkook can see the similarities between him and Taehyung. "Sorry, hyung." Jihoon says. "Please don't be mad at me. You will still teach me art, right?"
Jungkook sighs. His shoulders slump as he walks forward and kneels down beside Taehyung, cupping Jihoon's cheek. "Of course I will, Jihoonie. But promise me you won't do anything like this again?" Jihoon looks at Taehyung, and then back at Jungkook. He nods. "Promise."
"How did you even run away?!" Taehyung says, after a pause, running his fingers through Jihoon's hair. "I missed you, baby." Jihoon clings to Taehyung again. "I want to live here." Taehyung nuzzles his nose into the hug. He wishes. "With you and Jungkook hyung."
Both the adults in the room still, looking at each other. "Jungkook hyung has his own life too, Jihoon-ah." Taehyung rubs his son's back. "He can't be around for you all the time, okay?" Jihoon sighs, detaching himself from the hug. "Eomma is going to be angry, right?"
Taehyung nods. "You could have gotten into trouble on the way here, Jihoon. Please don't do this again." Jihoon nods. "Can I have your iPad, appa?" Taehyung is amused, not expecting it at all. "Sure."
"I want to draw." Jihoon says, and then looks at Jungkook. "With hyung and you." Taehyung looks at Jungkook too, though still speaking to Jihoon, a small smile on his face. "You want to draw with hyung and me?" Jungkook bites back a smile. "I guess we could do that."
Taehyung promptly brings him the iPad, and settles Jihoon down comfortably on the sofa in between pillows and a blanket. "Sit with me." Jihoon looks up at him expectantly. "You and hyung." Taehyung nods. "I will in a bit. Are you hungry?" Jihoon vehemently nods.
Taehyung is endeared. "What do you want?" "I miss eating ramyeon cooked the way you used to do." Jihoon says. "Just ramyeon?" Taehyung asks, surprised. "You cook?" Jungkook asks, even more surprised.
Taehyung gives him a strange look. "Am I not allowed to?" "No I just..." Jungkook stammers, and crosses his arms defensively. "I thought someone as busy as you wouldn't have the time to..." Taehyung smiles, and looks at Jihoon. "Does Jungkook hyung want ramyeon too, Jihoon-ah?"
Jihoon giggles heartily. "Jungkook hyung eats six cups of ramyeon in one go." One of Taehyung's brows quirks up, and he shamelessly looks Jungkook up and down. "Is that so?" Jungkook tries to hide the way his skin is turning red again. "I eat everything but work out a lot, so."
Taehyung smiles. "But I didn't say anything." Jungkook bites his lips. "Do you, uh.. do you need help in the kitchen?" "But Jungkook hyung." Jihoon interrupts them, as his fingers guide the pencil over the surface of Taehyung's iPad. "Why were you with appa?"
Jungkook's eyes go wide as he stutters, unable to think up a believable answer. "He came to ask me to see you, Jihoon-ah." Taehyung comes to Jungkook's rescue. Jihoon looks convinced for a moment, but then draws his brows together again. "But it's so late at night."
"Yeah, because I was mentoring him." Taehyung confidently lies. "You know how hyung is a law student, right?" "Aah." Jihoon finally says, and sounds convinced. "Yeah." Taehyung looks at Jungkook with a glint in his eyes. "I had to guide him. Was going to guide him some more."
"Ohh." Jihoon says, now completely having lost interest in the topic as he doodles away. Taehyung then calls Jungkook to the side, motioning with his fingers. "Could use some help." Jungkook nods, and follows him. As soon as they're away from Jihoon, Taehyung speaks again.
"I think I'm going to be occupied with my son." Jungkook nods. "That's awesome." "Sorry I couldn't 'guide' you further." He flicks Jungkook's chin. Jungkook almost whines at how much that makes him blush. "Ah, hyung."
Taehyung takes the opportunity to place a quick kiss on Jungkook's lips. "Six cups of ramyeon?" Jungkook rolls his eyes, trying to play off the way his heart skips a beat. "Just cook a normal amount for three people." "Okay." Taehyung smiles.
"How can I help?" Jungkook starts to look around. "Your kitchen is beautiful. Huge." "Empty. A little lonely." Taehyung says. Jungkook glides his hands over the cold marble counters. "These are pretty."
"Yeah?" Taehyung asks, turning around. Jungkook hums. "Very pretty." "Would be prettier with you against them." Jungkook almost chokes on air.
"I'm trying to contain the boner from before." Jungkook nervously chuckles. "Don't make it more difficult for me." Taehyung chuckles, as his hands swiftly work around the food ingredients. "Okay, go back and give Jihoon company. I'll be out in a few minutes."
Jungkook nods, and complies. He helps Jihoon with his art, and doesn't realise how fast the next few minutes pass because Taehyung is outside with the ramyeon pot, holding the handles with mittens. His shirt is untucked, blazer off, and he looks incredibly domestic.
Jungkook forgets to stop staring. Taehyung sets it on the table, and hands them chopsticks. They start to eat, and Taehyung is quick to ask. "Is it good?" "It's the best!" Jihoon giggles, slurping the noodles into his mouth.
Taehyung fondly smiles at him, and then his eyes turn to Jungkook. "And does Jungkook hyung like it?" Jungkook thinks he'll break the skin of his lips from the way he has to keep biting it down. "He likes it very much." Jungkook softly, shyly says.
And after they're done eating, Jihoon insists that Jungkook and Taehyung sit on either side of him as he draws. None of them object to it, and that's how the three of them end up huddled together on the sofa, cosy as hell.
Taehyung lends Jungkook his own sleeping clothes, and changes Jihoon into something more comfortable as well. "It fits you well." Taehyung remarks, pulling on the tee shirt Jungkook is wearing, when Jihoon gets busy drawing, ignoring them.
Jungkook looks at what he's wearing. "Hmm, we're almost the same size." "Hmm, almost." Taehyung says, running his hands over Jungkook's biceps, and suddenly grips it in the widest area, gently squeezing it. "Except you're a bit more muscular."
Jungkook feels his heart beat a little louder at the touch, as his eyes move towards Jihoon, who seems busy and unaware of what's happening behind him. He motions with his eyes towards Jihoon, and then looks back at Taehyung.
Taehyung simply smirks. "Jihoon-ah, are you having fun, baby?" "Uh huh." Jihoon says, still lost in drawing. Taehyung then turns to look at Jungkook again, and gently grazes his fingers up Jungkook's jawline. "Are you having fun, Jungkook?"
Jungkook can't believe how silly, how ridiculous, yet how hot this is. It's such a simple act, such simple words, but the whole thing is giving him butterflies. "Yeah." Jungkook says, using his own fingers to grip Taehyung's wrist.
"So pretty." Taehyung says, gripping Jungkook's jaw gently with his fingers. "But you can't even see it from there." Jihoon reasons, talking about his drawing. Both Jungkook and Taehyung break into a fit of laughter.
"I can see it." Taehyung says. The moment is gone, but Jungkook finds something more precious than what they had initially planned. Watching Jihoon and Taehyung together, reunited after years is so wholesome.
And Taehyung talks not only to Jihoon, but to Jungkook as well. He doesn't feel left out at all, because Taehyung makes sure he's a part of every conversation. And somewhere along the way, Jungkook realises that Taehyung is more than just physically attractive.
Suddenly, he doesn't see a hot lawyer he was looking to hook up with. There's a handsome, endearing single dad in front of him, and Jungkook feels like it's a little family gathering or something. He mentally scolds himself as soon as he gets the thought, though.
Jihoon eventually gets sleepy, and Taehyung carries him to one of the many rooms Jungkook is sure this apartment has. He waits in the living room, heart fluttering. He wants to kiss Taehyung. He wants to kiss Taehyung a lot, cuddle with him and nuzzle into his neck.
He doesn't just want to hook up anymore, but wants to hold Taehyung and be held. But he thinks it would be a little embarassing to tell Taehyung. Too clingy, maybe.
Taehyung peeks out then, a smile on his face and Jungkook realises he should backtrack from the kind of thoughts he's having. They're way too affectionate for someone he just met.
"Hey." Taehyung smiles, walking towards the sofa. "Hey." Jungkook says, heartbeat getting faster again. Taehyung comes and sits beside him, the sofa dipping with his weight. "Do you want to watch something?" Taehyung asks.
Jungkook nods. "Sure, anything." There's a movie playing on the TV a few minutes later, but none of them are actually paying attention to it. "So..." Jungkook begins. "Can we sit a little closer?"
Taehyung extends his arm out, smiling. "Come here." Jungkook hates the way his heart beats loud in his chest. His body turns into liquid as he crawls towards Taehyung, and leans against him. Taehyung wraps an arm around him, and Jungkook really wants to cuddle now.
"It's cold today, isn't it?" Jungkook hums. Taehyung smells so good, and he just wants to nuzzle into Taehyung's neck. "How are you feeling? Seeing him after so long?"
Jungkook then hears a deep sigh. "I can't really put it into words, but it feels like a missing part of me has been restored. Too bad, it's going to be taken away again." Taehyung smiles. But Jungkook knows that he's saying those words with a heavy heart.
So he thinks for a bit, and then says. "What if I arrange for him to visit you again?" Taehyung's eyes light up. "Yeah?" "Yeah." And Taehyung smiles, so big, that Jungkook forgets everything for a second. Taehyung is so beautiful.
And maybe it's the smile that makes him a little light-headed, a little braver when he asks Taehyung. "Umm, hyung. Can we...?" Taehyung looks at him, a little confused. "Sex?" Jungkook's face turns red. "No..I mean yeah sure. But that's not what I meant."
Taehyung looks at him with a quirked brow. Jungkook looks away because he feels a little embarassed. "Can we umm, cuddle?"
Taehyung smiles at first, and then breaks into a hearty chuckle. "Of course! It's one of the best ways to stay warm." Jungkook can't help but mirror his smile. "Really?" "Yeah!" Taehyung says, as if it's a silly question. "Like this? Or do you want to...?" He points at his lap.
Jungkook bites his lips because he doesn't want to smile too big and seem like an idiot. Wordlessly, like mush, he climbs into Taehyung's lap, and they just look into each other's eyes for a while, before Jungkook wraps his arms around Taehyung and snuggles in closer.
"You're like a big, overgrown baby." Taehyung rubs his back gently. "So cute." "Can you not call me that?" Jungkook pouts into his neck. "You wouldn't say the same if we had executed our plans tonight."
"Yeah?" Taehyung smiles into his neck, his breath suddenly grazing Jungkook's neck. He brings his thumb up, and gently draws circles in a certain spot on Jungkook's neck. "You have a pretty mole right here."
Jungkook hums, pleased. Taehyung leans in and places a soft kiss on his neck. "Pretty." "Hyung?" Jungkook whispers. "I have a mole on my nose and under my lower lip too."
Taehyung smiles and cups Jungkook's face in his hands, as he pulls it away from him. "I've noticed. Are you asking for kisses?" "Maybe." Taehyung pulls him closer again, and presses a kiss on Jungkook's nose first.
Jungkook smiles, and it endears Taehyung. "Stop being so cute. I had other plans but you just make me want to keep cuddling and cooing at you." "Is that a bad thing?" "No." Taehyung answers, and presses the third kiss right under Jungkook's lower lip.
The kiss is soft at first, and Jungkook is only beginning to melt into it, when Taehyung suddenly gently bites on his lower lip and sucks it into his mouth. Jungkook almost moans, surprised, but he's quick enough to reciprocate and allow Taehyung entrance into his mouth.
The kiss gets steamier, and Taehyung's thumb suddenly slips in between their lips, and gently strokes Jungkook's lower lip. "Ah, hyung." Jungkook wants to lean in again. He's getting hard again, and the friction feels good.
But just then, Jihoon calls in a sleepy voice. "Appa?" Jungkook immediately yeets himself off of Taehyung's body and onto the sofa at the sound.
"Oh my God." He places a hand on his chest, his heart beating fast. "That kid fucking scares me sometimes." Taehyung is doubling over in laughter. "He takes after me in some ways." "Appa? Where are you?" Jihoon calls again. "I'm here, baby." Taehyung says, as he gets up.
Jungkook follows him too. As soon as Jihoon looks at Taehyung, he sits up in bed, rubbing one eye. "Appa, why aren't you in bed with me?" Taehyung's heart melts. "I was about to, baby." And Jihoon holds both his arms out.
Taehyung immediately goes over to him, climbing into bed and under the blanket to wrap his arms around him. Jungkook takes in the precious, wholesome moment, and decides he should go. But just when he turns around to leave, Jihoon speaks again. "Hyung? Jungkookie hyung?"
"Yeah, Jihoon-ah?" Jungkook stops and turns. "Where are you going?" "To..." Jungkook looks at Taehyung, and then back at Jihoon. "To sleep." "Why?" Jihoon asks with a pout, and sits up. Then, he pats the bed beside him. "Sleep here. With me and appa."
Jungkook is stunned for a moment, feet unsure of which way to go. "Umm." "There's enough space here for all three of us, isn't there, Jihoon-ah?" Taehyung asks his son, but his eyes really are on Jungkook. Jihoon nods.
Jungkook feels flustered, but he nods. He walks over to the empty side of the bed, and carefully climbs in. Jihoon lifts the blanket so Jungkook can get in too, and in all the months he has taught Jihoon art, Jungkook thinks Jihoon has never been more endearing than right now.
He settled into bed, on his side so he's facing Taehyung directly, with Jihoon squished in between the two of them. Taehyung is smiling at him fondly. At both of them. "Get closer." Jihoon says. "It's cold tonight."
Both of them get closer to Jihoon, until they're all squished together like bears. "I am so happy, appa." Jihoon suddenly says. Taehyung gently runs his fingers over Jihoon's forehead. "Yeah? Why so, baby?" "I'm with my two favorite people."
Taehyung kisses Jihoon's forehead. And then, he feels a little petty. "But what about your eomma, Jihoon-ah?" Jihoon hums. "She's okay, I guess. She is a little scary. And she's very strict." "I'm your favorite person?" Jungkook asks then, his heart now turned into a puddle.
"Yes!" Jihoon says. "We should hang out more. Me, you, and appa." "Yes, we should!" Taehyung chimes in, patting Jihoon's head, but looking at Jungkook. And then, Jihoon giggles, and then drops a bomb. "It suddenly feels like I have two appas like this."
Taehyung suddenly coughs, and Jungkook clears his throat. "I'm twenty five." Jungkook says, nervously chuckling. Taehyung tries really hard to bite back a smile. "Are you really fond of Jungkook hyung, Jihoon-ah?" Taehyung asks.
Jihoon nods excitedly. "Yes, I love him so much. He's the coolest. And he is so good at art." "Yeah?" Taehyung asks, but as usual, his eyes are locked with Jungkook's. "Maybe Jungkook hyung should come over more often then."
"And how would I sneak Jihoon in here everyday?" Jungkook asks, a playful jab in his words. Taehyung just shakes his head, and points a finger into Jungkook's chest. "You. I'm talking about you." Jungkook freezes. "I would like to get to know you better, Jungkook-ah."
Jungkook gulps, eyes shuttling between Taehyung's fixed, confident gaze on him and Jihoon's little head. Jihoon's mother's face flashes in front of his eyes for once, but then, he decides that fear is not bigger than a sexy, lucrative man's offer to date you.
"I know everything about Jungkook hyung." Jihoon chirps at his dad, then. "I can teach you." "Thank you, baby." Taehyung lowers down and kisses his forehead. "But I'm going to have to learn from hyung himself."
"Okay. When?" Jihoon says. "Whenever hyung wants." Taehyung flicks his gaze to Jungkook once more, and then back. "Can I come too?" Jihoon smiles. "It's going to be so much fun."
Jungkook's cheeks flush red and Taehyung, on the other hand, rolls backwards from laughing. "We need to discuss some important stuff, and I have to do it with just hyung. Okay, Jihoon-ah?" Jihoon frowns for a bit, but then nods.
"So." Taehyung turns to Jungkook. "Can I?" Jungkook bites his lips. "Sure." "So a yes?" Taehyung settles Jihoon back down in between them. "A date?" Jungkook nods. "What date?" Jihoon asks.
"Shh, baby." Taehyung shushes him. "We need to fix a date to meet, don't we?" Jihoon nods in understanding. "Okay. Can we sleep now?" Taehyung brushes back the hair on his forehead. "Okay, baby."
"Can you hold my hand, appa?" Jihoon extends his right arm, and Taehyung takes it, placing a kiss onto the back of his hand. Then, Jihoon extends his other hand out too. "Hyung, you hold this one." Smiling, heart completely melting in his chest Jungkook obliges.
The next few minutes pass in silence, and constant eye contact and exchanged smiles between the two adults in the bed, while Jihoon's soft snores start to fill in the silence. "So, pick you up at 7 tomorrow?" Taehyung says, voice low.
"Okay." Jungkook presses his lips together so his dimples show up. Taehyung uses the fingers of his free hand to gently graze over the skin of Jungkook's cheek where it dips. "Sorry. I had such a hot guy in my lap tonight but had to cut everything short."
"It's okay." Jungkook assures him, hand on top of Taehyung's now. "You're only being a good dad. By the way, you really are an amazing dad. You deserve Jihoon." Taehyung smiles, and it looks a little sad, but he doesn't give Jungkook time to think about it. "Sweet dreams."
Jungkook remembers falling asleep to Taehyung's eyes on him, but waking up with Jihoon to an empty bed. He remembers breakfast ready on the table with a note, and thinks about it all the way back to Jihoon's mother's place. Can't stop thinking about it, about Taehyung.
"Oh my God." Jihoon's mom greets him. "I was so worried. If you ever do this again..." Her words blur out as Jungkook notices the stark difference in Jihoon's reaction to his mom as compared to his reaction to Taehyung last night. He must really, really be fond of him.
And just like that, absent-mindedly, he lets the question slip. "Noona, why did you..." He looks at her. "Why did you separate from Jihoon's dad?" Both Jihoon and his mother stare at Jungkook, but the latter looks like she's been caught off guard.
"That's..." She says. "Um, come in, Jungkook. Have a seat first." Jungkook does, and Jihoon sits by his side, hugging his waist like a koala bear. "Why this question?" She says then, when they're all inside, fully seated.
Jungkook just shrugs, trying to play it cool. Like he isn't sweating buckets on account of his nerves right now. "I think he misses his dad. He should be allowed to see him." Jihoon's mother's face turns stone cold. "Maybe if Taehyung understood the value of family time."
Jungkook presses his lips together, silent. "Work, work, work. That's all he ever knew." She continues, brows drawn together. "That's not why you guys divorced though, is it?"
Her expression falters for a second. "What?" Jungkook takes in a deep breath. "I apologize if this is out of line, but all that talk about him being a workaholic? That's rich coming from you. You couldn't possibly have divorced him for being exactly like you are?"
She looks irritated, then, and smirks a little. "Jungkook, I wouldn't pry so much if I were you. You're his art teacher, why don't you stick to teaching him art?" It would hurt, but Jungkook knows that this is the least venomous thing she's capable of saying.
"Sure, no problem." He says, getting up, and dusting his pants. "See you, Jihoon-ah." Jihoon smiles a knowing, mischievous smile. "See you, hyung. I miss you already." Jungkook crouches down one last time before leaving, and ruffles his hair. "I miss you the most already."
Once outside, he brings out the note from this morning, unfolds it, and reads it again. His heart flutters just like it did this morning. He can't help the smile that makes it way to his face. The note reads –
You're so pretty when you're asleep, I wouldn't dare wake you up. Besides, Jihoon is holding on to you for dear life. Breakfast is on the table, see you in the evening. Kind of miss your face already, what are you doing to me? Love, KTH.
The moment Jungkook is back home again, it starts to bug him a little. Sighing, he pulls out his phone, and sends Taehyung a text message. – Hello, hyung. Can we talk? The reply is quick. – Sure.
– You don't have to answer, but is it okay to share with me the reason you separated from Jihoon's mom? The next reply doesn't come for a while, and Jungkook's heart is in his mouth. Maybe that was a little out of line. It's none of his business, after all.
But the only reason he wants to know is to have a clear understanding of the situation. His phone vibrates then, and he checks the message instantly. What he reads, kind of shocks him a bit. – She cheated on me.
Jungkook's mouth literally falls, because he would never expect that from her. She's so well put together all the time, so preachy and shows how she's overtly righteous about everything. – Really? Wow. – Yeah, why? Suddenly like this, over text? – Sorry, hyung.
Jungkook's phone is ringing, then, and he doesn't have to look to know it's Taehyung. "Hello?" "It's okay to ask, you don't have to apologize." Jungkook nods, even though Taehyung can't see him. "It's just, I wanted to assess everything. See how I can make it work for Jihoon."
Taehyung hums. "You're sweet. But do not discuss this with her, or Jihoon. Am I clear?" Jungkook feels weak at the gentle but authoritative tone. "Oh no, of course not sir–" And then he realises what he just blurted out.
"Sir?" Taehyung teases, and the conversation completely goes in a different direction within a second. "Is that a kink you just accidentally exposed?" "It's because you–" Jungkook starts to fumble. "You asked me if you were being clear."
"You're lucky I'm knee deep in work right now." Taehyung sighs. "Or this phone call would be turning into something else entirely." "I don't see how that's me being lucky." Jungkook says, gathering his courage and teasing back. And then, he adds. "Sir."
Taehyung throws his head back against his rotating chair. "Don't, Jungkook." Jungkook can't see him but he can hear Taehyung's smile in his words. "Try me."
"I'll see you tonight." Taehyung says. "I don't want to, but I'm going to have to hang up because you're getting a little brave here." Jungkook can't help the chuckle that escapes his lips. "Okay. Bye, hyung."
This time, Jungkook puts in way more effort into dressing up. Even puts in hair gel to keep the stray strands in place. Doesn't bother to add color to his outfit, keeps it smoldering in all black. Sighs as he looks at himself into the mirror, hopes Taehyung will like it.
And Taehyung, when Jungkook meets him, looks effortlessly sexy in his work clothes. The gold rimmed glass sitting low on the bridge of his nose again, head buried in work inside his office when everyone else has left. Jungkook hates that Taehyung doesn't even have to try.
"You're the boss." Jungkook says, as he walks in. "You shouldn't be working so hard." Taehyung looks up at him over the file in his hand, and smirks ever so slightly. "I'm the boss. That's why I should be working the hardest."
The way he says it is so hot, that Jungkook has to tear his eyes away and pretend to look around. "So, where are we going?" "I'm taking you to someplace that I really, really hope you'll like." Taehyung just smiles.
"Wow, that explains a lot and I totally can tell now." Jungkook rolls his eyes. "No, seriously." Taehyung clicks his tongue. "Why are you so impatient? You're so needy." Jungkook huffs. "Where did needy come from?" "Haven't forgotten about the other day in the car."
Jungkook's cheeks flush red, and he goes quiet. Clears his throat, and walks up to Taehyung. Stands there, until Taehyung is looking at him. "What?" He laughs, gently curling his fingers around Jungkook's wrist.
"How about we save these plans for some other day?" Jungkook asks. Suggests. Taehyung's brows draw together in confusion. "What? Why? I booked us two tickets to an art exhibition. Figured you would like it."
Jungkook's eyes go wide and sparkle at that. "What, really? That's amazing. But... Can we do it on the next date?" Taehyung smiles, content. "You're already thinking about our next date? Like me that much, huh?"
Jungkook rolls his eyes, a smile painting his features. "Yeah. I like you that much. Okay?" "Okay." Taehyung smiles, all teeth out. "So what are we going to do today?"
Jungkook shrugs, feigning an innocent look. "We can still go to your apartment after, but..." Taehyung keeps his eyes on Jungkook, as the latter walks over to the space between Taehyung and the table, and perches himself upon the edge right in front of Taehyung.
Jungkook pulls the file away from Taehyung's hand and keeps it aside on the table. Then, he taps on the table. Taehyung tilts his head and smirks. "Here." Jungkook says, hand still tapping on the table. "Fuck me right here."
That's it for tonight! The next and last update will be some smut, and will end in them getting together officially! Please let me know what you thought of this update! Hope you enjoyed reading!! πŸ₯°πŸ₯°
Taehyung's eyes pop out a little, before he's taking his glasses off and masking it with a smile. "I'm not sure if everyone has left yet. And I don't have sex on office grounds. Let's go to my place." Jungkook frowns. "No. Here. Right now."
Taehyung bites back a smile. "Baby. Everyone's going to hear you." "Everyone who?" Jungkook leans back on his palms. "I didn't see anyone on my way up."
"So, so eager." Taehyung teases. "Of course. You've blue balled me before." Jungkook says, then adds as an afterthought. "I'm kidding. I actually enjoyed that night. It was Jihoon after all. But seriously, you need to fuck me. Now."
"Aw, is this just about sex to you?" Taehyung says, voice still teasing, as he grasps one of the loops on Jungkook's jeans, and pulls. "Wasn't that the initial plan?" Jungkook leans forward, placing his hands on Taehyung's shoulder.
"Was it?" Taehyung asks, a tad serious this time, eyes staring into Jungkook's. Jungkook doesn't have an answer. Taehyung has already made it known that he's interested in getting to know Jungkook, but hearing it like this – it makes his heart flutter.
He wordlessly climbs down the table and onto Taehyung's lap, taking his glasses from his hand and placing them on the table. "I'll tell you later." Jungkook whispers into his ears, before cupping Taehyung's face and pressing a soft kiss to his lips.
When Jungkook pulls back, Taehyung looks a little breathless, before clearing his throat and brushing his thumb across Jungkook's lower lip. "Now look at you trying to make me all soft with your cute kisses." He says, and proceeds to kiss Jungkook again – just as softly.
"I really like you, hyung." Jungkook whispers in between kisses. "Al–already." "Oh baby, I really like you too." Taehyung chuckles into the kiss, as his hand rubs the back of Jungkook's neck lovingly.
"Okay, so fuck me into oblivion." Jungkook says. Taehyung laughs out loud this time, his deep voice echoing through the room. "You're really the cutest, aren't you?" "I think I am." Jungkook says, tilting his head sassily to the side.
Taehyung leans back against his chair, breath heavy. "Stop turning me on while I'm still at office, baby." Jungkook scoffs. "As if you don't want yourself inside me." Taehyung bites his lips, eyes narrowing. "Turn around, brat."
Jungkook smiles, pleased, and is about to move from his position, when Taehyung's hands still him. "Wait, all my stuff is at home. I didn't know you had such... plans." Taehyung says, brows raised.
There's a mischievous glint in Jungkook's eyes. "Well, I'm clean – And I don't mind a mess. If you don't, that is." Taehyung sighs. "Well, I don't mind in general but I don't want to make a mess here–"
Then, Jungkook giggles. "I'm kidding. I mean, not about the clean part – I am, I tested recently. But I am prepared, don't worry." Then, he shoves his hands into his pocket and pulls out a packed condom.
"It's a lubed one." Jungkook says, holding it up. "Extra pleasure, the packaging claims." "Oh, even without it you'll be subjected a lot of pleasure, trust me." Taehyung says, grabbing the condom. "But okay, let's use it, then."
Jungkook latches on to Taehyung, then, kissing him again, and his hands wander all over Taehyung's shirt, unbuttoning it one by one. Taehyung whispers into Jungkook's mouth, "Clothes off." Jungkook instantly complies, pulling his jacket and shirt off in a second.
Taehyung, meanwhile, undoes his own shirt, but before he can even take his blazer off, Jungkook's hands are on him again. "Easy there, babe." Taehyung grabs Jungkook's biceps, squeezing and feeling them. "You're way too strong, don't get overexcited and hit me or something."
Jungkook rolls his eyes. "I'm just trying to get you naked." Taehyung grabs his wrist. "Later. I'm not the one getting fucked. Turn around and bend over that desk." He presses a kiss against Jungkook's lips. "Come on."
Jungkook smiles and readily does as asked, making Taehyung chuckle once more. "You're so cute." "I usually don't take it, you know." Jungkook says, upper body against the table and his legs on the floor. "But you...you just make me want to."
Taehyung's heart melts a little. Should it, in this situation? He gently cards his fingers through Jungkook's pretty hair, and peppers kisses along his bare shoulder. "It's okay, you're going to be a good boy for hyung."
Jungkook leans into the kiss, as if answering Taehyung, as the latter's fingers work their way around his waist and undo his belt. He pulls the zipper down, but before he can go further in, Jungkook grabs his hand and stops him.
"Hyung, I'm not wearing underwear." He says – invites. "And that makes you stop me why?"
"Just saying." Jungkook smiles, and turns around again. Let's Taehyung have his way with him. And Taehyung does. He yanks the fabric off, but is careful not to be too rough. Jungkook makes him want to be soft for everything.

[Jungkook is so fucking cute, even in fiction – I just can't. 😭😭😭😭] [Just had to say this. Consider this an author's note.]
"Me too." Jungkook shyly admits, pulling on the fabric of his shirt. "It was really good. I think I made that pretty clear during the process itself." "Process." Taehyung chuckles, putting his glasses back on. "You're so cute."
"So... Is our date... Over?" Jungkook asks, eyes big and expectant. Taehyung shoves his hands into his pockets, cocking his head slightly to the side. "What do you think about spending another night over at my place?"
Jungkook's eyes light up, a smile tugging at his lips. "I would like that very much, but..." "But?" Jungkook rubs a hand over his ass, a pout forming on his lips. "My ass is kind of sore right now."
Taehyung immediately dashes forward and cups his face, before kissing the pout on his face. "We're just going to hang out. Talk. Watch some TV. Cook, if you want to. Those sort of things. That's it."
"Oh." Jungkook's eyes widen as a light bulb goes off in his head. "Yeah, totally down for that too." And then, Taehyung is cupping Jungkook's ass cheeks, squeezing them gently and kissing Jungkook's lips in between. "So your ass hurts, huh?"
"Mhm hmm." Jungkook says, hands around Taehyung's neck. "Come, let's get back in my car. Let's go home." They both know he doesn't mean it like that, but it sounds a lot like it is exactly that – home, their home.
They encounter an employee or two on the way out, and Taehyung secretly prays to God they didn't hear anything. Once in the car, Taehyung is about to start the engine up, but Jungkook asks him something.
"Hyung." He says. "You should talk to Jihoon's mom. Take him in to live with you. I'm sorry for what I'm about to say, but she's kind of a bitch." Taehyung smiles at that, taking his glasses off. "I know. But, Jihoon is happy–"
"Happy?" Jungkook asks, crossing his arms. "Define happy, hyung. Does happy mean yearning to see one parent while being sick of the other?" "He's not sick of her..." Taehyung says, looking ahead. His voice is soft, and very low.
"I don't know, but I do know that he loves you and misses you a lot and would rather spend the rest of his life with you." Jungkook says. "Trust me on this. And besides, you deserve him. Way more than she does." Taehyung breathes, heavy. His voice cracks a little. "Thank you."
"So?" Jungkook says. "Can't you ask for custody? I know you can. Jihoon's decision can be a game changer too. You know this stuff, you're literally the best lawyer in Seoul. Come on." "It might strain his relationship with his mother." Taehyung says. "But..maybe you're right."
"Yes." Jungkook says, a little relieved at Taehyung finally being convinced. "So do it." Taehyung nods. "I'll look into it." "Promise me?" Taehyung turns to look at him and smiles. "I promise. Thank you, baby."
Jungkook smiles back bigger. "Finally. I hope everything works out for you guys and you're reunited with your son–" "Speaking of which." Taehyung cuts him off, his tone lighter again. "Jihoon seems like a handful."
"Oh, he is." Jungkook chuckles. "But he's the sweetest boy ever." "He is, but..." Taehyung pauses, looking like he's thinking carefully. "I mean, someone who could drop by every now and then and help me look after him doesn't sound half bad."
"Oh." Jungkook nods. "Well, you can get him a nanny." "What if I want to get him sort of, kind of another appa?" He looks at Jungkook. "I mean, my boyfriend would technically be like a dad to him, right?"
It's only then that it hits Jungkook, and he gulps the lump that forms in his throat, trying to calm his heart. "Hyung–" "So yes?" Taehyung asks, brows raising in question. "Do you want to be his sort-of-appa?"
Jungkook just stares, unable to get out a word. The idea is thrilling, and he should jump at this chance, but he freezes. Taehyung frowns. "Jungkook? I'm sorry if I–" "No!" Jungkook speaks then. "I mean yes. I will. Be his sort-of-appa."
And realising how old that makes him sound, he shakes his head and re-phrases his sentences. "I mean, I will be your boyfriend. That's what you meant, right? You did just ask me to...be your boyfriend. Right?" Taehyung only grabs his jaw, pulls him closer and kisses his lips.
When he pulls back, Jungkook is biting his lip and staring back at Taehyung. "Do I need to ask again or...?" Taehyung says. "Shall we leave now? Or do you want me to repeat the question and remind you of how much I like you?"
Jungkook shyly hits his chest. "Stop. Sorry, my brain just froze." "Aw, you like me that much?" Jungkook tries not to smile. "Just drive." "Sure." Taehyung says, keys the engine, starts it, and then turns to look at Jungkook. "Boyfie. Isn't that what they call it these days?"
