Alpha Jungkook doesn't care that he has to marry the omega he accidentally marked – It's not like he's going to fully commit to the marriage anyway. Too bad, Taehyung is expecting a fairytale out of it. #taekookau 🔞 [Minors DNI]

– (Alpha) CEO JK x (Omega) Model TH. – Arranged Marriage. – Angst & slow burn, but the story itself won't be too slow because it's a thread fic! – NSFW, so minors please don't read/interact/follow me. 🔞 – Please interact via QRTs as you read! Starting this tonight itself!
"Eomma, it was accidental." Jungkook says, voice calm still. "I didn't intend to mark him." "You're not a kid, Jungkook. You handle our whole business now. A full grown man." She says, arms crossed and brows furrowed. "And you 'accidentally' marked him?"
Jungkook sighs, feeling slightly uneasy discussing this with his parents. Again. But Jungkook knows he's at fault. He has good control over himself. But the accident happened because he slept with someone after a while. Not to mention, the omega was very attractive.
But that's all it was. Jungkook was just looking to blow off some steam, to let out some stress. Work was getting overbearing and he just happened to come across this certain beautiful guy at a bar. It was just one night of sex. He wasn't looking for... A wedding.
But he sighs because the damage has been done – he's marked the omega as his mate, and now both sets of parents insist on a marriage. It's the right thing to do, they say. Like it doesn't matter at all that Jungkook doesn't have feelings for this person, has met him just once.
There's no point to this conversation anymore. It isn't the first time, and certainly won't be the last. But Jungkook knows he has some responsibility to take here. He doesn't have a lot to say in his defence because he knows he's at fault.
And so, Jungkook listens as his parents explain for the umpteenth time, until he zones out, thinking about the omega. It wasn't his fault that Jungkook marked him. They're mated now, and Jungkook should be there for him, feelings or not.
"Fine, I'll do it." Jungkook says, finally resigning to the situation. "But I need to have a word with him before the wedding." His parents are a little taken aback at first, but immediately hug him, and give him pats on the back.
Jungkook feels like they've taken a liking to the omega – especially his mother. He happens to be an acquaintance's son and she seems way too enthusiastic about meeting him. Jungkook doesn't mind that part. He just wishes he didn't have to go through with a wedding.
But Jungkook tries to see his parents point of view. An irresponsible alpha, and a marked but single omega aren't looked upon kindly. And both of them are well known figures. His parents talk to the omega's parents, and a meeting is arranged the next day.
Jungkook walks up to the bar counter where he can recognise the dark head of hair from behind. They've met just once before, but it's etched in his mind. Taehyung. His name is Kim Taehyung, and he's currently one of Korea's most celebrated models.
Taehyung is waiting by the bar, a martini glass held in his slender fingers and a pearl earring Jungkook can spot from behind. His heart beats a little faster as he walks towards Taehyung, practicing the lines in his head over and over again.
Jungkook wouldn't be nervous normally, but for one, this isn't how his past hook ups have turned into. And secondly, Jungkook guesses the mating bond is making his heart a little soft for Taehyung, making him feel bad in case he were to hurt him.
As soon as Taehyung feels his presence, he turns around and offers Jungkook a blinding smile, his face a reminder of why Jungkook must have lost control. His pearl earrings dangle as his head moves, and for a moment Jungkook just takes him in.
The faint rosy scent emanating from Taehyung reminds Jungkook of that night they spent together. The touches, the moans, the very steamy encounter that they had.
Jungkook clears his throat, trying to push away the memories from that night. He tries not to focus on it too much lest it distracts him from what he's come here to say. As it is, Taehyung is quite the stunner.
He is ridiculously beautiful, and Jungkook wishes he doesn't put a frown on that face with what he's about to say. And immediately after, tries to push the empathy to the back of his head. He can't let these budding emotions get the best of him.
He's calm and collected and makes level headed decisions in business. And even though this is a wedding, he's going to take a similar approach. He's not going to neglect his own wants and needs, either.
"Hey." Taehyung greets, and says abashedly. "I've been craving to see you again. Must be the bond." Jungkook takes a seat opposite him, palms sweating. "Hey. I, umm... I needed to speak to you."
Taehyung's smile dims a little, but it's still there. Lingers, as he uses his fingers to push away the strands of hair in his eyes. "Yeah, I know." Jungkook can hear the nervousness in Taehyung's voice, but steels himself for the upcoming conversation.
"This wedding." Jungkook says, and looks up to meet Taehyung's eyes. "What do you think of it?" The smile returns to Taehyung's face. "Me? I'm very happy. Relieved. I wouldn't know what to do if you hadn't agreed."
Jungkook feels bad that it's this way for omegas. How they can't mate with anyone else once they're marked, or are looked down upon if rejected. It's unfair, while alphas are free to do anything. "Also, uhm." Taehyung continues. "I kind of developed a little crush on you."
Jungkook just clears his throat, voice devoid of any emotion. "Actually, about that..." Taehyung's expression falters, as if he's been expecting something to go wrong. "You don't want to do it?"
Jungkook doesn't know how to say it. "Taehyung, I am not someone who is particularly interested in the idea of marriage, because it feels very restrictive to me." Taehyung's smile slowly, completely vanishes.
"I will marry you, though." Jungkook continues, still no trace of emotion in his voice. "We will get married." Taehyung's brows furrow in confusion, tears starting to pool along his waterline. "I don't understand."
Jungkook's eyes pierce through Taehyung's. "I marked you, and I take responsibility. I'll marry you, and provide you with everything an alpha is supposed to provide to their mate." Taehyung crosses his arms, anger slowly seeping through him.
Jungkook can feel the scent growing stronger, and guesses that Taehyung's emotions must be getting more intense. But it's not like he wasn't expecting this.
Jungkook continues. "But I won't emotionally invest myself into this marriage, and nobody can change my mind. For me, my work and my independence come first. If you're okay with it, let's get married." Taehyung takes in all of it, the words cutting through him like a knife.
He sits there like a statue, no reaction coming out of him for a while as he processes the words. He had been expecting something more out of this wedding, out of this union. From Jungkook, too. A lot more, actually.
The first night he had met Jungkook, he felt like a whole other person. And when he marked Taehyung, he had been so shocked at first that he didn't even tell Jungkook he had sunk his teeth in too deep. When the matter reached their parents, they took it into their own hands.
Wasn't too difficult, for they were already fairly acquainted with each other, being two of the most affluent families in the city. And then, Taehyung had finally breathed when the news about Jungkook agreeing to marrying him had finally reached him.
Because he wouldn't know what to do if Jungkook rejected it. Spent a few sleepless nights over it, actually. Nobody wants an already mated omega. And Taehyung – he doesn't want to be without a partner forever. He wants to be loved.
But right now, as he sits across from Jungkook, it feels like he's back to square one. Because even though he has his mate now, it still feels like he's at a loss. A tear is about to escape his eye, but Taehyung controls it.
It's not like he has a choice, he tells himself. Not marrying Jungkook would be even worse. And then, he musters up the courage to look at Jungkook, and nod. "Okay."
Relief shoots through Jungkook, but there's no sign of it on his face. "Thank God you didn't throw a fit." And Taehyung hates how he still sounds emotionless. How he makes it sound like a business deal, and not a wedding.
Absolutely hates how instead of disliking him, the yearning in his heart grows. The more Jungkook feels out of reach, the more Taehyung's heart aches. The little, sweet crush now gnaws at his chest, starting to slowly tear it apart.
"And by the way, when you're not on your heat and don't need me around, you can sleep with whoever you want. I won't mind." Jungkook says, and this time there's a small smirk on his lips. Like the sex is what Taehyung is worried about.
"No, it's fine." Taehyung says, trying to mimic Jungkook's emotionless voice. "If you couldn't tell already, I'm not big on sleeping around. It was just one time. With...you." Jungkook nods. "I mean, you have the option, is all I'm saying."
"I don't need it." Taehyung shrugs. "What about you?" "What about me?" "Do you need it? The option?" Jungkook shrugs too. "Like I said, I don't like restrictions. So maybe yeah."
Taehyung can't believe this is the same sweet, charming guy that took him home just a few days ago. Right now, all he sees is a cold hearted, selfish person who doesn't regard other people's feelings at all.
"You're going to get whatever I should provide fot you, so I don't think there's much to worry about." Jungkook says nonchalantly. "You're okay with this, right?" Taehyung nods. "Mhm hmm. Are we going to sleep together outside my heat?"
Jungkook shrugs. "Sure, if you want. You're very attractive and it would be a pleasure. Just no feelings please." Taehyung can't help but let out a dry chuckle. It feels like they're friends with benefits, except they're actually going to be married.
"Let me get you another drink." Jungkook says, suddenly shifting closer. As if that would make Taehyung feel any better. "Is this a part of your responsibility towards me as my alpha?" Taehyung swirls his glass, sarcasm dripping from his voice.
Jungkook chuckles, finally some expression other than an unreadable face. "No, just getting to know my to-be husband better, I guess." Taehyung slightly rolls his eyes. "I've had enough for tonight, no more drinks."
The pearls in his ears dangle again, and his his soft, brown hair glistens in the warm light. Jungkook can still see the mark he left, decorating the side of Taehyung's neck like a pattern. And with the mark and Taehyung looking like an angel, Jungkook feels a tug at his heart.
Hates it. Tries to control it, but he's never dealt with a mating bond before, and only now does he realize how strong it is. Taehyung's sweet, rosy smell that has constantly been in the air suddenly rushes into his nose all at once, and maybe Jungkook's alpha reacts.
He feels the sudden urge to lean forward and kiss Taehyung's plump lips, caress his rosy cheeks. There's this sudden need to touch, and Jungkook just can't control it.
As if on cue, his hand comes up involuntarily and his thumb brushes Taehyung's lower lips. His eyes fall to them as well, and he can't help the gasp that escapes his lips. This is not him. This isn't him at all, but the bond is making it hard to keep his hands to himself.
The scent grows stronger, as Taehyung eyes Jungkook's hand and then his gaze flits to Jungkook's eyes, as if he just doesn't understand. Jungkook doesn't blame him, when he can't fully make sense of the situation himself.
"What about dessert?" Jungkook asks, doesn't know where that comes from. "Are you trying to flirt with me?" Taehyung says, not moving away from the touch.
Jungkook's hand drops to his laps, and he reflects on the question. "You can come home with me, if you want." He offers. Thinks it would compensate somehow for what he took away. Taehyung's expression twists. "Why? To have sex?"
"If you want to." Jungkook says. Taehyung shifts closer, and drapes an arm over the counter and behind Jungkook. He's suddenly so close that their noses almost brush when Jungkook turns his face a little.
Taehyung brings up a hand too, and caresses Jungkook's face, fingers tracing the contours of it. "Do you want to?" He asks. Jungkook, fully basking in Taehyung's scent, losing himself in it, nods. A part of him tells him that it's just sex, and it shouldn't be a problem.
Taehyung leans in, their lips almost brushing. "Will you take good care of me, alpha?" Heat pools in the pit of Jungkook's stomach at the sultry way in which the words are whispered, and at the words themselves.
Taehyung's breath is hot over his lips, and Jungkook slowly parts his lips, until the breath and the scent are suddenly gone. Jungkook opens his eyes to see Taehyung picking up his crossbody bag, putting it on and stepping aside. "Was nice meeting you."
"Huh?" Jungkook asks, confused. His chest is heaving a bit, his body asking for more. He hates how the kiss was snatched away from him. Maybe it's his alpha that hates it more, watching Taehyung take steps away from him.
And the more steps Taehyung takes away from him, the more his insides ache, and stronger the urge to chase after him grows. Jungkook hates it. He's never been like this with anyone. But then again, he's never had a mate before.
"I'll see you at the wedding." Taehyung bows, nothing but a feeble smile on his face, and walks away. And with him, the scent of roses completely leaves the bar, and leaves Jungkook sitting there, suddenly craving the person he so badly wanted not to invest himself into.

Taehyung's tears finally fall in streams the moment he shuts the door of his apartment behind him. His body drags downwards against the door until he drops to the floor and leans back, and cries. He hugs his knees, and cries.
He's in such a strange situation, and it makes him sad because he really likes Jungkook. Jungkook, with his sweet words, looks to die for, and the most sinful hands that have ever roamed Taehyung's body. He's left an impression on Taehyung that refuses to go away.
Jungkook wasn't rude to him. He didn't say anything deliberately hurtful – but his request still made Taehyung's heart ache. A lot. How can he not develop feelings? Especially after that night, after Jungkook marked him and bonded them as mates forever?
Taehyung brings a hand up to caress the mark on his neck. It hurts, even when he tries to soothe it with his fingers. The pain is blunt, throbbing. It got worse the farther away from Jungkook he went, but he didn't stop. Didn't even turn to spare Jungkook a look.
He gets up and walks to the huge mirror in the small indoor corridor, and looks at the mark. It sits there, sprawled over a small area on his neck like it's somea symbol of his and Jungkook's love. And then, he huffs at the last word.
Love – there's probably never going to be a thing such as 'his and Jungkook's love.' Bitter, Taehyung drags his fingers against the mark rather harshly, but withdraws his hand when it stings.
Taehyung starts to mentally prepare himself for the beginning of a partnership where he has to not expect anything from his partner when he's not in heat. He hates it, but it's better than being left on his own. It's something.
Taehyung sighs, hands gripping the frame of the mirror. He stares at his reflection until his legs start to hurt from standing. He then turns away, feeling defeated and lost, and takes exhausted steps towards his bedroom.
Plops down on the bed, staring straight at the ceiling and not bothering to remove his makeup or jewelry or even change into something more comfortable. He just absent-mindedly grabs his phone, and opens a new chat window with Jungkook – they haven't texted each other yet.
Only talked on the phone once after everything that went down. He doesn't let himself overthink his decision, and starts to type. If it's going to hurt anyway, it's best to rip the band-aid out quickly, as soon as possible.
Jungkook, I want the wedding to be this week. Let's get the formalities and the ceremony over with. –T.
Taehyung once again stands in front of a mirror, but this time he's clad in a beautiful, white suit that trails down his back, and is standing in a room in one corner of a wedding hall. The mark has a generous amount of concealer spread over it.
Taehyung sighs at his reflection, mulling over the whole situation and wonders if he's going to get cold feet. For completely different reasons than most other people would.
It's then that he senses the familiar, earthy scent. It's distinct even from afar and Taehyung knows it's because of the bond. But even without a mark or bond, Taehyung thinks he would remember this particular scent. Jungkook must have arrived at the venue.
They're not supposed to see each other until the wedding vows, but Taehyung doesn't mind waiting. In fact, he doesn't know how he would face Jungkook again without breaking down into an emotional mess.
And it's not like he's known Jungkook forever, but the bond makes it impossible for Taehyung to even imagine being apart from the alpha. But even though he knows that being close to Jungkook would lessen his pain, he wants to stay inside a little longer.
He sits, and tells himself that he has to be strong. He takes one more look at the mirror, and stares into his own eyes. He takes a deep breath, and whispers to himself. "You've got this, Taehyung."
Taehyung pushes the silver, feather shaped earrings into his lobes as a final touch, and lets his hair fall freely onto his forehead. If this is all he can control, Taehyung is going to make sure he looks better than everything Jungkook can ever dream of.
The scent gets stronger, and Taehyung wonders if it's because he's thinking too much about Jungkook. He has an urge to touch his aching mark, but he doesn't want to ruin the patch of concealer.
He takes one final look at himself in the mirror, and is satisfied. Taehyung knows he's good looking. But today, for the first time, he wants his beauty to make someone regret their decision.
Jungkook paces the little dressing room, something burning in his chest. Hurting, even. He knows that it must be the damn bond. The ache has been troubling him all week, ever since he watched Taehyung walk out of the bar.
It's dull mostly, but it's almost always been there the past few days. Jungkook slaps a hand over his chest, rubbing it in an attempt to calm himself down. He doesn't feel anything for Taehyung, so it's annoying that a part of him keeps wanting to see him.
He admits it, just to himself. He can't wait to see the omega. Has no idea why – maybe because he feels like it's going to soothe the burn in his chest. He hates it when he recalls how he lost control around him the last time. Or the first time they met.
"Jungkook, come out now. The wedding commences soon." He hears his mother call for him. Jungkook immediately moves, not even wasting a single second. He would like to tell himself that it's only because he's punctual, but that would be a lie.
Jungkook has been waiting at the altar for a while now. His hands are sweaty and his heart is loud. The ache in his chest still stings, but Jungkook stands straight, shoulders square. He doesn't let it show. Only shows the side of him he wants people to see.
Confident, strong, and unbreakable. The facade works, until the rosy scent hits him again and his shoulders sag just in the slightest before he re-composes himself again. Taehyung must be at the other end of the aisle, and Jungkook turns his head sharply.
His breath catches in his throat when he finally sees Taehyung after days, and it's like everything inside him relaxes at once. The pain ebbs away, the stress in his mind dissipates, and oh! Taehyung is so, so beautiful. Like an angel, dressed in white, right out of a fairytale.
Jungkook can feel the lump in his throat at the sight of Taehyung – he can see his sharp features stand out even from a distance. The outfit looks so good on him, and as he walks towards Jungkook, the ache in his chest reduces little by little.
Taehyung looks up at him, and sees the stoic expression on Jungkook's face. His beautiful face – he's reminded of why he agreed to go home with a stranger that night. Jungkook is so handsome, that it hurts.
The ache in his heart diminishes too, as he finds himself standing face to face with Jungkook. He can't bring himself to make eye contact, but he can constantly feel Jungkook's eyes on him. And then, Taehyung looks.
He doesn't know if he's hallucinating, but he thinks he notices Jungkook's eyes soften the moment they meet Taehyung's own. He doesn't show emotion, but his eyes betray the expression on his face for a moment. Maybe he feels a little bad for Taehyung too.
But Taehyung doesn't want to keep feeding himself with this ideas of Jungkook feeling any kind of sympathy towards him. He tears his eyes away, and the priest begins the wedding with some words that Taehyung can't even focus on properly.
Jungkook's presence is so strong, his scent now similar to a whole forest. Even when they don't look at each other, Taehyung feels something in his heart as he says his wedding vows. As he hears Jungkook say his own.
Jungkook glances up at Taehyung every now and then, even as he says his vows. Taehyung never looks at him, so maybe it's safe to take in as much of the omega as he wants. Taehyung looks stunning, and Jungkook can't look away.
They briefly make eye contact when they exchange rings, skin feeling incredibly warm when they touch each other's hands. And when the priest asks them to kiss and cheers erupt in the hall, Taehyung doesn't know how to handle it.
He wonders if he can partake in a kiss where he knows that his feelings aren't returned. He didn't think this would be so hard. Jungkook takes a step towards him, and Taehyung looks up to meet his eye. His eyes are soft, again.
Jungkook leans in, and holds out a hand towards Taehyung's waist, as if asking for permission. Taehyung moves closer, and wraps his arms around Jungkook's shoulder as he feels the alpha's palms slip around his waist.
Taehyung looks up, and their eyes stay locked into each other's for a while, before Jungkook presses a very soft, chaste kiss against his lips. It's so unlike that first night.
When their lips separate, Jungkook feels the urge to press them back together, and go a little deeper. He wants to go all out, but Taehyung takes a step back already. And talks about a hotel suite being booked for them already starts.
Jungkook keeps looking at Taehyung, wondering what the fuck this bond is doing to him. He can't wrap his mind around how he suddenly wants Taehyung, here, right now. How good it felt kissing him, and how at peace he felt when their bodies were so close.
Jungkook manages to control his alpha as the newlyweds talk to guests and do everything else a normal pair would do on their wedding day. But his mind keeps thinking about being alone with Taehyung, about the honeymoon suite.
He's going to ask Taehyung if he wants to do more than just kiss, and he sure as hell hopes Taehyung does. He looks at Taehyung from across the hall once, and wonders if he's hurting behind the pretty, practiced smile.
Jungkook doesn't even say anything on the drive to the hotel, as he sits in the passenger seat next to the driver and Taehyung takes the backseat. But the moment they step inside their suite and the hotel staff leaves, Jungkook doesn't waste a single second.
"Taehyung." He says. It's the first actual word he's spoken to him all day, as he leans against a table, arms crossed. Taehyung just unpacks some toiletries, and doesn't even answer.
Jungkook wets his lips, feeling a little nervous. But at least the stinging of his chest is gone now that Taehyung's around. He hates that Taehyung is being a little cold and unresponsive now. Jungkook at least wants them to be on friendly, good terms.
"Tae..." Jungkook risks using a nickname for the first time, and Taehyung's arms pause for just a brief second. "What is it?" He asks, voice a little distant, sounding like he's disinterested and bored.
"I've... My chest." Jungkook begins. He feels stupid for sharing this. What if Taehyung hasn't felt the pain? "It has been hurting." "Aspirin." Taehyung replies, and the corners of Jungkook's lips twitch a little.
"Oh, you're the fiesty type." Jungkook says. "What did you want to ask me?" Taehyung cuts him off, still not looking at him. "Have you been feeling the pain too?" Taehyung nods. "It's the bond."
"It doesn't hurt right now, because we're so close to each other." Jungkook shoves his hands in his pockets, and starts to walk towards Taehyung. "So we should stick together?" Taehyung asks, finally turning to look at him. "Pretty sure that's the opposite of what you want."
Jungkook sighs, and sinks his palm into the soft mattress, shifting his weight onto it. Can't control how soft his heart feels for Taehyung right now, despite his sharp tongue. "Are you mad at me?" Jungkook asks, voice soft. "I made everything clear before the wedding."
Taehyung sighs. "I'm not mad." "You look and sound mad." Jungkook continues to talk to him, voice still gentle and careful. He's only ever like this with his nearest ones, and never with a person he barely knows.
"I'm not mad." Taehyung repeats. "I'm just unpacking." "You haven't looked at me since we kissed at the altar." Jungkook complains, and Taehyung thinks he sounds a little cute, whining like this.
Taehyung chuckles lightly. "Jungkook, remember the talk we had at the bar? You don't want me to look at you, trust me." The mattress dips a little more as Jungkook presses his knees into it and comes closer. "I do."
Taehyung turns to look at him then. Jungkook is almost on all fours, his strong body angled towards Taehyung and his face soft and beautiful in congrats. Taehyung wonders if the soft expression is just for him. "What do you want?!"
A part of Jungkook says it's a bad idea – but a part of him makes him want to say whatever he feels out loud. He settles on the bed close to Taehyung, and their faces are almost touching now. Taehyung stills, heart beating loudly in his chest.
Jungkook breathes right next to his neck and ears, and Taehyung can feel the heat build up in the pit of his stomach. It's getting really, really hard to control his omega, which is begging for Taehyung to just let loose. He's been holding it in for so long now.
Taehyung feels weak in the knees, as Jungkook stares at his eyes, and then at his lips. Jungkook looks absolutely gorgeous and irresistible up close. Jungkook's finger slides closer to Taehyung's hand, as he whispers into Taehyung's ears. "Can I kiss you?"

How is it going so far? Please let me know your thoughts! ☺️☺️ Hope you enjoyed reading!! Stay safe, and take care!!! 💗💗
Taehyung sucks in a breath, but doesn't say anything. He just stares at Jungkook's eyes, and then lets his gaze fall to Jungkook's lips. Taehyung doesn't move, doesn't say no. If he's being honest, he wants to be kissed.
Jungkook's fingers hook over Taehyung's, and then move up to encircle his wrist. The touch makes goosebumps erupt on Taehyung's skin. Jungkook waits for Taehyung to react in some way, but when he doesn't, Jungkook's lips jut out slightly.
Taehyung looks him straight in the eye, at the pout that's beginning to form, and tries his best to not let his lips twitch. "What?" He asks Jungkook, voice merely a whisper.
Jungkook's fingers trail up Taehyung's arm lightly, and the touch makes him all tingly. The fingers stop at the mark, where Jungkook gently rubs his thumb into the prominent redness. Taehyung can't believe how good it feels. The ache disappears completely.
Taehyung can feel Jungkook's mouth getting closer to his face by the second, the sound of his breathing getting heavier and heavier on his ear. Jungkook's thumb gently caresses the mark, and his eyes flick to Taehyung's face.
Taehyung hasn't said no yet, and Jungkook speaks again. "I'm going to kiss you here." He presses into the mark. Taehyung's chest rises and falls faster, and his head rolls slightly backwards, eyes closing. Jungkook takes it as a green signal.
Jungkook's other hand comes up and cups Taehyung's neck, while he leans forward, and presses his lips softly against the mark he left on Taehyung's skin. A gasp escapes Taehyung's lips because it isn't even just painless now – it's giving him pleasure.
Jungkook, pleased, presses another kiss on Taehyung's neck, and it takes all of his effort to not immediately devour Taehyung's lips. Taehyung looks so beautiful like this, his skin tastes like heaven. And it's like the closer their bodies are, the better he feels.
Even though he's just kissing Taehyung's neck, all of the remaining discomfort is gone, and Jungkook slowly accepts that Taehyung's body close to his own is the only medicine to this annoying ache in his chest. He doesn't even need the sex – just needs Taehyung to stay close by.
He feels an odd sense of connect with Taehyung as they sit there – it's so intimate, so strangely calming. Jungkook's heart skips a beat or two when it sinks in – he doesn't even want anything but a kiss. He just really wants to kiss Taehyung.
And so, he pulls back from Taehyung's neck, and aims for his lips this time. Jungkook cups his face, and leans in, almost closing the distance between them. But Taehyung grabs his jaw right then, and stops him.
Jungkook's brows twist in confusion, and he searches Taehyung's face for something because he doesn't understand. "No kissing on the lips." Taehyung says, challenging as he looks into Jungkook's eyes. "I don't want it if it isn't done out of love."
Jungkook stares, eyes wide. He slowly lets his hands drop, and his eyes tear away from Taehyung's face. He creates some space between them, because suddenly, it's awkward. The air between them abruptly tenses, and Jungkook suddenly feels a little guilty.
But then, Taehyung shifts closer and holds his waist, angles Jungkook's body towards himself, and starts to unzip his pants. Jungkook grabs his wrist, and holds it still. "What are you doing?"
Taehyung stares at him, eyes cold. "Isn't this what you want?" The mark on his neck hurts from the tension between them, but Taehyung bears it, not squirming, wincing or even letting out a single sound.
Jungkook's brows knit closer, and he looks a little annoyed – At Taehyung, at himself, as he moves Taehyung's hand away from his body. "No. I don't want it." He says, voice low and dangerous, his eyes turning a shade of red. "I don't want anything you're not comfortable with."
Taehyung stares, and feels just a tiny bit rejected, as he retracts his hand to his body and sits there. It's all kinds of strange at once.
"I don't want anything from you that you don't want either." Jungkook tells Taehyung, sighing out loud. Taehyung watches as Jungkook stands up and zips his pants back up, taking steps away from him.
"I'll ask them for a separate suite once we reach Japan." Jungkook says, eyes not even meeting Taehyung's anymore. "You don't have to share a room with me, don't worry." Taehyung just listens, eyes on his lap where his hands play with each other.
"And if you don't want to go at all, I can arrange for that too. Nobody has to know." Jungkook adds. "You can stay here, or anywhere you want. Just let me know. I'll make arrangements." Taehyung takes in a deep breath, feeling confused and just a little bad.
Jungkook stands there for a few more seconds, sniffing and putting both hands on his hips, before he awkwardly turns around, walks to the door and shuts it behind himself on his way out. Taehyung sits there for a long time, mulling his words over.
When Jungkook comes back an hour later, he begins to explain how it's hard to find a separate suite because it's holiday season, but Taehyung cuts him off. "It's okay, I'll go. We can share a room." Taehyung says, a small, forced smile on his face. "I don't mind."
Jungkook gulps. The ache in his chest decreases a little. "Are you sure?" Taehyung nods. "Yeah. I'll take the couch, it's fine."
Jungkook shakes his head. "It's fine, I'll take the couch." Taehyung shrugs. "Anything is fine." He pauses, thinks, and then finally says it. "Are we going to go out and explore? While in Japan?"
Jungkook looks a little surprised at the question. "I mean, I love traveling. I've been to Japan so many times before. And I would love to show you around, if you'd like." Taehyung likes how Jungkook looks a little nervous, and sounds completely genuine.
It ignites a tiny flicker of hope in his heart. He wishes for Jungkook to feel the same way he does. He's been subconsciously trying to make himself dislike Jungkook, but is failing. Jungkook isn't a bad person.
Taehyung feels like he's put this fresh, new barrier in between them, this space that has them always standing at a constant distance from each other, ever since he said it to Jungkook. No kissing on the lips.
Which is strange – it's such an intimate act. He wonders why Jungkook looked so offended. It's not like they're in love – it shouldn't have stung him so much. Kind of hates how hard he had to control himself because he wanted it too.
It bugs Taehyung that all of it might be just because of the mark and the bond, and nothing else. He wishes the mark itself wasn't accidental. Everything feels superficial, and he wonders if things will ever stem from actual feelings even if they get close.
They're supposed to leave for Japan the next morning, and Taehyung's brain is reeling over with thoughts. He thinks and thinks and thinks until he falls asleep, the side of his face pressed against his folded arm over the pillow.
It's rather cold when he falls asleep, his body shrinking onto himself in defence. But when Taehyung wakes up the next morning, there's a blanket covering his body, and Jungkook asleep on the couch a few feet away.
The flight from Seoul to Tokyo is only two hours and a half, but feels way, way longer. The air between Jungkook and Taehyung is still a little tense, and it feels nothing like a normal couple should feel on their honeymoon.
Taehyung sits with his arms crossed and eyes consistently fixed on the window, while Jungkook has whipped out his laptop and is busying himself with work. Jungkook smells like the forest on a rainy day, and it makes Taehyung want to look.
Instead, he settles for his reflection in the glass pane – chiseled jaw ticked as his eyes bore into the laptop screen. He looks even hotter when focused, and Taehyung has the urge to ask him to take care of his eyes.
The sound of Jungkook typing away should be annoying, but Taehyung doesn't mind. Jungkook finally puts his laptop away when the plane is about to land, and Taehyung really wants to talk.
He holds back, though, because he doesn't want to be a bother, but then, Jungkook is speaking himself. "You feeling okay?" He asks, voice so gentle, and Taehyung's heart does a weird thing.
Taehyung nods, smiling slightly, and risks wearing his heart on his sleeve again. "You?" Jungkook nods, rubbing a hand on his neck, and Taehyung wonders if the couch was uncomfortable. "I'm okay, I guess."
And then onwards, it's not that awkward anymore even if they don't really talk a lot. Jungkook puts on his sunglasses the moment they step outside the airplane, and Taehyung internally screams because of how good Jungkook looks.
Hates that it's his fucking husband but he can't even peacefully make him push himself against a wall and make out with him, no matter how much he wants. Technically, he probably can, but it wouldn't exactly be how he wants it.
The ride to the hotel is silent too, and it amazes as well as scares Taehyung that Jungkook looks like he's trying to give him space – way too much space. More than he'd like. A part of him wants to go back to the night before and just kiss Jungkook.
"The bed looks comfortable." Jungkook smiles at Taehyung when they're in the privacy of their suite, and it's so genuine that it hurts. He gulps, looks at Jungkook, and blurts it out loud. "None of us have to sleep on the couch."
Jungkook stares back at him. "It's fine, really." Taehyung remembers the blanket, and the way Jungkook was curled up uncomfortably on the couch the night before. The way his neck and back must be hurting.
Taehyung shakes his head. "I insist." They stare at each other for a while, no expression on their face, until Jungkook presses his lips together and nods. "Okay, then."
Taehyung thinks their conversation is done for now, but then Jungkook is talking to him again. "Umm, I know some really pretty spots around suburban Tokyo if you're interested." Jungkook shoves his hands into his pocket, body swinging back and forwards. "For the uhh, exploring."
Taehyung bites back a smile, and nods as he faces away from Jungkook. "I think that sounds nice. Today?" "Now, if you want. I don't mind." Jungkook says. "I'm always up for going out."
"I'll take a shower and get ready, then?" Taehyung asks. Jungkook nods. "I'll come back in a bit, I think you'd like some privacy."
Taehyung nods, as Jungkook steps out. But he's not all pleased – Immediately hates that Jungkook's presence is gone. He really doesn't mind him being here when he dresses – kind of wants him to watch.
Right now, he doesn't even mind because Jungkook is being so nice to him – and it's a reminder of the night they met. It's probably one of the reasons Taehyung developed the damn crush.
He feels excited as he showers and then dresses up, because he really, really wants to go out and sightsee with Jungkook in tow. He's not going to admit it to Jungkook, though. Doesn't want to seem too eager anymore.
He puts in a lot of effort to look good – dresses up and does his hair with his mind still focused on Jungkook. He thinks it's a little pathetic, but Jungkook is being too nice and he keeps losing his grip over his anger.
Jungkook is at the door again when Taehyung swipes tinted, glossy chapstick across his lips. He puts it back in his vanity kit and rushes to get it. He smoothes his clothes out, takes a deep breath and opens the door.
Jungkook is about to say something, but the words catch in his throat when his eyes fall on Taehyung. Taehyung watches his eyes shift to his lips and back, and it makes his insides twist with satisfaction.
Jungkook wants to say something, but doesn't. He thinks Taehyung looks stunning in this fit, but swallows his words. Wants to kiss Taehyung right here, plump lips inviting, but the last time he went for it, it didn't exactly go well. So Jungkook just looks away.
"You really want to go out, right?" Jungkook confirms. "You don't have to do it just because I ask." Taehyung nods, downplays his excitement by leaps and bounds. "I really don't mind. You seem excited."
Jungkook's heart sinks a little because he wants Taehyung to be excited too, but he'll take what he gets. He kind of thinks he deserves this treatment because this whole thing is all his fault.
Jungkook tries his hardest not to glance too often at Taehyung, because his heart feels strangely weak for the omega. Right now. Especially right now, especially with his natural scent filling up his space and him looking like a full course meal.
Taehyung wishes Jungkook would look at him. Let his eyes linger. He could ask him just one more time and maybe Taehyung would let him kiss his lips, because his insides are aching for the alpha too.
He's sure the way his hair is tucked under a scarf is working its magic. Jungkook is just holding back. He's dressed down himself, in a leather jacket now, and Taehyung has never seen him wear anything but a suit before.
Taehyung decides to not give a fuck anymore and just say it. They can kiss once, he can make an exception just this once, but suddenly Jungkook's phone rings and his attention shifts to it.
Jungkook feels annoyed but doesn't show it, as he receives the call and listens as the person on the other end keeps talking. When he finally ends the call, he can see Taehyung is still confused.
Jungkook has never been annoyed by work before – he is quite passionate about it, in fact. But for the first time in a while, a work call is making him really, really mad.
But then, he guesses it serves him right. He probably doesn't even deserve to be on this trip with Taehyung, enjoying himself, especially when Taehyung doesn't seem too excited about going out either. He would probably be relieved.
Jungkook sighs, because it's not like he can avoid this anyway. So he looks at Taehyung, and hopes he doesn't see relief flood through his face, at least. That would hurt. "I just got a call from office." Jungkook says. "There's a work emergency."
Taehyung's brows knit together, but he tries to act calm. "Oh, really?" Jungkook nods, thankful that Taehyung doesn't seem as relieved to get rid of him as he thought.
"But... I want you to go out and have fun. I'll get you the best tour guide if you want. Or if you want to stay in, that's fine too. Just let me know." Jungkook says. Taehyung's heart hurts a little, but he stands there, not saying a word.
And then, Jungkook lets himself go a little, taking one little risk, and allowing himself just a little bit of Taehyung because it's getting really painful. He gently pulls Taehyung closer, hugs him, and breathes into his neck. "Take care. I'll see you at home, Taehyung."

Just when he is about to pull back, Jungkook feels Taehyung's hands latch onto his back, albeit gently, and then basks in how they spread around over his jacket. "Wait." Taehyung says, almost clutching onto Jungkook's back.
Jungkook relaxes under the touch, feels the warmth in his chest. He lets his own touch linger on Taehyung's body. "Yeah?" "What am I going to do alone here anyway? I'm not a fan of traveling alone." Taehyung says, their bodies still in an embrace.
Jungkook processes the words. "I'm sorry, Taehyung." "Tae." Taehyung says. "It's okay to call me just Tae."
"Is it weird that I'm still holding you?" Jungkook asks, hoping Taehyung doesn't suddenly separate their bodies. "A little." Taehyung chuckles. "I'll go back home with you. It's okay."
Jungkook sighs, pulling his phone up behind Taehyung's back. He can't believe he's doing this. Never since he became the CEO has he pulled something like this, and doesn't know what's possessed him since he met his omega at the club.
Jungkook types out a message to his assistant. -Tell them I'll conduct the meeting online, and extend my apologies. Let them know that I'm in the middle of a family engagement, and will be there a day later.
He pockets his phone back, and brings his free hand up to rub over Taehyung's back. "You don't have to." "It's fine." Taehyung shrugs, and pulls back. Doesn't know why he's feeling so soft towards Jungkook and so upset at the idea of him leaving.
"No, I mean. You can stay here, and tour Japan." Jungkook says, hands sliding off Taehyung's shoulders. "I'll show you around." Taehyung's eyes widen in realisation. "You're.. you're staying? But the work thing...?"
Jungkook shrugs. "It's still on, but I made a minor change. I made some time." "For...me?" Taehyung asks. This is way more than just what an alpha should do for his omega.
"Yeah?" Jungkook says, in disbelief himself. "So...shall we leave now? I already booked a car and it's waiting outside." And Taehyung nods, and throws some caution to the wind, casually saying. "Okay. My outfit looks okay right?"
And Jungkook gets what he's doing – he can tell it's totally on purpose. There's only one reason Taehyung would say that, and it makes him feel all fuzzy and tingly inside. He indulges Taehyung, but he doesn't have to lie. "It's perfect, but because you're wearing it."
If Taehyung had been expecting just a normal compliment, this one makes him freeze in place for a bit. "Oh." He says, cheeks flushing red. Jungkook shoves his hands in his pocket. "I like the hairdo a lot."
Taehyung's hand flies up to feel the scarf knotted behind his head. "Really? It's a good way to keep the hair out of my face." Jungkook just smiles at him. "Let's go, come on."
It's a pretty normal tour – but it is everything to Taehyung. Jungkook excitedly telling him little facts about every single place they visit, offering to click pictures of him, and even holding hands with Taehyung.
Holding hands – Taehyung can't even believe that these little acts of affection are coming from Jungkook. Just around a week ago, he wanted no strings attached. But right now, he is the one joining all the strings, it seems.
Taehyung knows it's the bond, but he wishes it were more. Wishes there was more depth to whatever Jungkook is feeling towards him. As far as he's concerned, he's been smitten since the moment he laid eyes on Jungkook, and wishes the feeling was returned exactly the same.
He sighs when the thought crosses his mind, and Jungkook notices. They're in the middle of a high end restaurant, waiting for their food when it happens. Jungkook looks at him, face displaying concern. "Is everything okay?"
"Oh yeah!" Taehyung is snapped out of his trance. "All good." "Oh. Am I boring you with all my little trivia?" Jungkook chuckles, nervous. "Sorry, I should probably talk less."
"No!" Taehyung is quick to defend, hand almost slamming on the table, and then retracting. "I mean, no, I like it. It's quite interesting." Jungkook bites his lips, nodding. "Okay. People usually get annoyed when I start with my trivia." He laughs.
"Can I say something?" Taehyung suddenly asks, and changes the course of the conversation. "Sure." Jungkook says, but his heart beats a little faster as he has a hunch about what it could be. He really doesn't want to talk about whatever is going on between them.
"Why are you being so nice to me?" Taehyung asks, not meeting Jungkook's eyes. Jungkook sighs, knowing it's important to talk it out and he can't ignore this forever. The bond is driving him fucking crazy. He buries his head into his palms.
"Jungkook?" Taehyung asks, spirits low with every sentence he speaks. "You wanted no feelings, right? And I know you said you'd do everything an alpha should do for their omega but I think you're crossing that line yourself." Jungkook sighs then, and finally speaks. "I'm sorry."
Taehyung stares at him intently, fingers restless as they play with each other. "Don't be. I just want to know what's going on because it's really confusing." Jungkook nods. "I understand. I don't know what's happened to me ever since we met at the bar."
"It's the bond." Taehyung says. "It kicks in a little later for alphas from what I've heard. Maybe that's the night it did for you." "Oh?" Jungkook says, understanding now. "And you? What about omegas?"
Taehyung smiles, but there's a fair amount of pain behind it. "I'm sure I wouldn't have needed the bond to be attracted to you, but... since the night you marked me." Jungkook's brows draw together in concern. "It hurts a lot, doesn't it? I'm sorry, Tae. It's all my fault."
Taehyung shakes his head. "It's okay. And you can hug me to sleep, if it helps ease your pain." And Jungkook's heart breaks at how Taehyung just thinks about him when he himself must hurt too when they're apart. "Yeah?"
"Yeah. Whenever you need." Taehyung smiles. And Jungkook wants to choke on the words he said to Taehyung a few days ago. "And what about when you need me? You're going to be hurting outside your heat too."
Taehyung looks up at Jungkook, surprised because he wasn't even expecting that much. "Umm.." "Let's make some changes in what had been decided that night." Jungkook leans forward on the table, joining his hands.
"Changes?" Taehyung asks, and hates how immediately, hope blooms in his heart. "You can hug me to sleep whenever you need, too." Jungkook says. "Or just hold me in general. Whenever. Just... call me or something."
Taehyung feels overwhelmed at the sudden flooding of emotions and the conversation, so he chuckles and tries to lighten things up. "Are you sure you don't have a crush on me?" Taehyung tilts his head and smiles playfully, but his heart hurts because he knows the answer.
Jungkook shakes his head, laughing. "Are you making fun of me just because I'm helpless in front of the bond?" Taehyung sighs. "No, I'm kidding. By the way, when do we leave? Tomorrow?"
Jungkook nods. "Yeah, I'm so sorry. I wish this could be cancelled but I'm pretty much the only one who looks after the company. It's an emergency and–" "Jungkook!" Taehyung stops him. "It's okay, I understand. I have no complaints."
And for a brief moment, Jungkook feels like he could easily be in love. He sighs, and his chest hurts a little. But as if understanding even without words, Taehyung takes his hand and squeezes it, and the pain disappears.
Taehyung is so beautiful, nice and witty. He's understanding and kind, and so, so lovable. Anybody would be lucky to have him. Jungkook thinks he doesn't even deserve him.
He doesn't understand his feelings fully yet. But Jungkook knows that something has definitely changed when when one of the stewards stares at Taehyung for a little too long, and Jungkook feels something ugly twist in his chest.
Jungkook being back at work kind of takes a toll on Taehyung. He knows he's not supposed to foster too many feelings for Jungkook even now, but Taehyung hates being by himself in their huge apartment. It feels so empty.
He thinks it's probably a little dramatic, but he doesn't even feel like eating alone at the table. He misses Jungkook – even though he isn't supposed to. Misses his handsome face, his huge eyes and his comforting presence.
Jungkook is stuck at work. The one delay has immensely increased workload, and he hates having his work done by his subordinates. He wants everything perfect and prefers to do it himself. Hence, he doesn't even get home until late every night.
Taehyung is always asleep by then, and all Jungkook can do is stand by the door and gaze at Taehyung's sleeping form, and let the longing in his chest feed off of just that. Jungkook leaves in the mornings before Taehyung wakes up, and it goes on like this for a couple of days.
It goes on like this for a couple of days – until Taehyung thinks his heart can't take it any more. He doesn't have an excuse, but decides to visit Jungkook at his office anyway. He picks up some takeout on the way, just to look like he isn't there without a reason.
"I'm here to see Mr. Jeon." Taehyung cheerfully says at the reception. The receptionist rolls his eyes, eyes fixed on his register log book. "Mr. Jeon as in the CEO? You can't just walk in and expect to see him."
Taehyung stays calm, biting back a smile. "Oh, is that so? How do I meet him then?" "Get an appointment first and come back whenever the meeting is fixed." He says nonchalantly, not even looking at Taehyung. "Why do you need to see him anyway?"
Taehyung clears his throat. "Um, well..." "My husband doesn't need a reason to see me." Jungkook's distinct, soft but firm voice resounds in the office lobby and everybody stills. "Tae, what are you doing here?"
The receptionist stands up, almost stumbling off his chair. He's scared for his life, and for his job. "Mr. Jeon, sir I didn't know–" But Jungkook isn't even listening. He's just walking towards Taehyung, eyes wide and fixed on just him.
"Umm, Jungkook...." Taehyung begins, elated to actually interact with him properly in person for the first time in days. "I came to see you." Jungkook's chest rises and falls a little faster than before. "Let's go to my office."
They ride in the elevator together, and walk through the corridor to Jungkook's office side by side. But they never say anything. Just keep holding their smiles in like idiots, blushing like anything.
It's when Jungkook closes the door of his office behind him, that Taehyung speaks. "Wow, this is impressive." Taehyung says, looking around the office. "Is this why you prefer staying at office? Because it's so nice out here?"
Jungkook shakes his head, chuckling. "Sorry, I've been so busy. I should be giving you way more time, but it's going to get better after tonight. The pending work is almost done and–" "I missed you so much." Taehyung blurts out.
Jungkook stops talking, and just stares at Taehyung, eyes wide. "I know it sounds stupid, and I shouldn't be acting like we're in love or something, but the house felt empty and I missed the sound of your voice, and..." Taehyung pants, and sits down. "And..."
"And?" Jungkook gulps. "I got you takeout but it's really just an excuse." Taehyung bites his lips, looks down at his feet and smiles. "I just really wanted to see you, Jungkook."
And Jungkook's heart lodges in his throat because while Taehyung is openly expressive about how he feels, Jungkook finds it a little hard to be. And it's finally beginning to sink in that Jungkook has been feeling exactly the same way about Taehyung.
Jungkook lets out a shaky breath. He's a strong man in every sense of the word, but this is taking every ounce of his courage to admit. "I'm... I'm glad you came." Jungkook says instead of an 'I miss you too.' "It's really nice to see you here."
Taehyung beams regardless, face lighting up with his beautiful smile. Jungkook's heart hurts. "Yeah? Want to eat together? I hate eating alone at home, anyway." And the way Taehyung calls their apartment home does something to Jungkook's heart.
"I would love to." Jungkook says. "I have an hour long break now. What are the odds?" He smiles. Taehyung has to bite his lips to stop from grinning too big as he lays out the food on Jungkook's table. "I'm so happy right now. It feels like I have a new friend."
"Friend." Jungkook says, and likes how that sounds. Friend. It saves him from the weight of everything he isn't ready to accept yet. It puts him at ease by making him think that maybe Taehyung isn't expecting too much from him.
"It's okay to eat here, right?" Taehyung asks, turning around. "On your work table?" It's really not. Jungkook never eats here. "Yeah, of course!" He says. "What did you get me?"
They eat sitting opposite to each other, and Taehyung's heart is full just heading Jungkook talk and watching him eat. He eats in such an adorable manner, brows drawing close whenever he likes the food, and Taehyung just wants to pinch his cheeks.
They share a lot of small conversations and laughs, and all the distress from the past few days melts away. "Um, Tae." Jungkook asks, when they're done eating. Hesitates a bit too. "You can return home with me. In my car. After I'm done here at work. If you want to."
And of course Taehyung wants to. His resolve is breaking by the day but he's starting to not care. "Yes, I will. I mean, yeah, it's fine, I don't mind." Jungkook smiles, feeling silly at how giddy this makes him feel. "Will you be okay in the waiting room for a bit?"
Taehyung nods. "Sure!" "Just let me know if you need anything, okay?" Jungkook tells him. "If you get hungry or what to watch something, just send me a text and I'll make arrangements for you."
Taehyung's heart soars. "Oh, okay." "Thank you for the food." Jungkook says. "We should, umm... we should eat together from now on. I think. If you're okay with it."
"I would like that." Taehyung nods, and starts to walk off before his heart explodes. What is happening to Jungkook? "Where's the... Uhh, the waiting room?" Jungkook offers to walk him there, and of course he lets Jungkook.
It's when Jungkook finally gets off work, that he finds himself excitedly seeing off all his employees just so he can see Taehyung again. He's feeling restless and euphoric – the things a mating bond can do to you are insane, he thinks.
He's happily strolling towards the waiting room when he hears two familiar voices. One is his husband. And the other is an employee that has been working here for a while. Jungkook knows his voice.
He stops walking when Taehyung is in view, sitting awkwardly and trying to be polite to the guy who keeps talking to him. Jungkook's brows knit together, and he stands there and observes. He shoves his hands in his pocket, and tongues the inside of his cheek as he watches.
The guy is harmlessly trying to make conversation with Taehyung, but Jungkook can tell from his body language that he has some sort of interest in his husband. And Taehyung – he just wears a forced smile, trying his best to be polite but only replying in short sentences.
Jungkook feels that same ugly feeling bloom in his chest again, but way stronger this time. He just can't stand what he's watching.
He immediately turns around, fishes out his phone and dials the employee's number. "Hey, Sanghyuk. It's me, Jeon Jungkook." Jungkook says, making his way towards his office. "Can I see you for a second?"
He thinks it's impulsive, but Jungkook can't control this intense wave of emotions that's coming over him. "Mr. Jeon?" Sanghyuk asks as he comes in. "You wanted to see–"
"You're going to be relocated to our Incheon office." Jungkook says, swivelling around in his chair. "Just wanted to let you know." Sanghyuk stares, dumbstruck.
"Is there a problem?" Jungkook asks. Sanghyuk just shakes his head, scared to question. "No, sir. I'll... I'll pack my stuff up." Jungkook nods. "Work hard, Lee. Don't just go around talking to strangers." Sanghyuk bows regardless, scared, and leaves.
Jungkook then locks his office and makes his way back to the waiting room again. Taehyung stands up as soon as he sees him. "Did you call him? Thank you, he was a little annoying."
Jungkook smiles. "Don't worry, he won't annoy you again. You can come by everyday, if you want." Taehyung looks at him, smiling and confused, but nods. "Okay." Jungkook hesitates before putting his hand around Taehyung's waist. "Can I hold you by the waist?" Taehyung nods.
And as Jungkook walks him to his car, he thinks about what he just did and the feelings that caused him to act this way. He opens the door for Taehyung to get in, and shuts it when Taehyung sits down in the passenger seat.
Jungkook walks around the car, and stops for a bit before he gets into the driver's seat himself. He mulls over his actions, and it slowly dawns over him. There's an uneasy feeling in his stomach as he stands there and takes a look at Taehyung through the glass.
He can feel everything he had thought before crumble into pieces, as he realises it – as he somewhat recognises the growing feeling in his heart. Jungkook takes a deep breath, admits it to himself in his mind, and mutters under his breath. "Fuck, this wasn't supposed to happen."
Please let me know your thoughts about this update! 💗 Hope you enjoyed reading it today as well!!! 💗💗💗
He gets in, pulls the door of the car shut and places his hands on the steering wheel. Jungkook's heart is hammering against his chest, and he looks ahead. Before he taken in a deep breath, and looks to his side.
Taehyung is looking ahead too, and he looks so content, so happy. Jungkook's chest feels warm knowing that it's because of him. When Taehyung turns to look at him too, Jungkook's heart skips a beat, eyes widen and his mouth falls a little open.
"What?" Taehyung asks, confused. "Do you want to say something?" Jungkook closes his mouth, and shakes his head. "Um, do you want me to play you some music while I drive?"
Taehyung nods. "That would be lovely. Why do you look nervous?" "What?" Jungkook half laughs. "Haha. I'm not nervous. Do I look nervous?"
Taehyung smiles, amused. "Anyway, I had a great time today." Jungkook turns to look at him, at his eyes, the high bridge of his nose, and his lush lips. Oh, his lips. Jungkook wants to kiss him so bad.
Taehyung doesn't want him to do it unless it comes from a place of love. But how would Jungkook ever tell him that he's started to like Taehyung? A lot. He feels confused, and looks ahead again.
"Are you okay?" Taehyung asks, a little concerned this time. "You look a little lost. Did I say something wrong?" "No." Jungkook is quick to assure him. "I had a great time, too. I'm looking forward to more such lunch dates."
It's Taehyung's turn to blush, upon hearing the word 'date.' He nods, pressing his lips together to hide his huge smile. "So it was a date."
And Jungkook takes a deep breath, and challenges Taehyung with the way his eyes roam all over his face, and especially his lips. "Wasn't it?" Jungkook asks. "I think it was. A lunch date with my husband."
"Are you falling for me, Jungkook–ssi?" Taehyung teases. Jungkook gulps, heart beating loud. "Would it be bad if I did?"
Taehyung chuckles, and the sound makes Jungkook feel so light, so at ease. "Ah, I wish. I know things didn't go well with us for a while, but I don't regret this marriage anymore. At least I have a nice new friend now." "Am I your friend?" Jungkook asks, smiling.
Taehyung looks at him. "Are you not?" Jungkook shrugs. "I don't see you as a friend. Just as my husband." "But that doesn't mean anything if you don't have feelings for me." "Well..." Jungkook tries to ignore his loud, thumping heart. "It's not like I feel nothing for you."
Taehyung snaps his head to look at Jungkook. "What?" Jungkook panics. Shrugs. "I mean, I enjoy spending time with you. You're very fun to be around. That must mean something, right?"
Taehyung's heart relaxes. He almost jumped out of his seat there. "Oh. That's what it is. We're friends, I guess." "Well, then." Jungkook smiles, and a very sappy, romantic song starts to play on the radio. "Being friends with your husband is nice, I think."
Taehyung turns and just takes in Jungkook as the song plays, and there's the familiar longing in his heart again. He stares at Jungkook's beautiful profile for a while before tearing his eyes away. "I think so, too."
And as if the universe has planned it all out for them, it suddenly starts to rain. Taehyung's face lights up when he hears the pitter patter against the metal roof of the car. "Jungkook, it's raining!"
"Yeah, the weather is so unpredictable these days." Jungkook says, looking outside. "Do you want me to–" "Let's go out and dance in the rain!" Taehyung excitedly jumps in his seat. "What?" Jungkook almost shrieks. "What?"
"Dance in the rain?" Jungkook asks, horror on his face. "We don't have umbrellas." Taehyung gives him a strange look. "That's the whole point?"
"But, I don't like getting wet in the rain." Jungkook frowns, looking at the raindrops splattering against the bonnet. Taehyung's shoulders hang down, looking at the frown on Jungkook's face. "Oh, okay. Sorry, we don't have to if you don't want to."
But then, Jungkook looks at him, and Taehyung's smile is gone. The beautiful smile that lit up his face is replaced by a more dull expression, and Jungkook finds that he doesn't like it. Absolutely hates it. "You know what?" Jungkook sighs. "Let's do it."
And instantly, the smile is back on Taehyung's face. "What, really? Jungkook you don't –" "I want to, really." Jungkook starts to unbuckle his seat belt after he has parked the car at the side of the road. "It's always fun to try something new."
And so, out they go, and Jungkook watches as Taehyung runs out to the middle of the road, raindrops wetting every inch of his body and of his expensive outfit. Jungkook is so lost in him, that he doesn't even feel the rain drenching his own body down.
He watches Taehyung spin and laugh his heart out in the rain, and Jungkook feels something tugging at his own heart. It's a little scary, overwhelming, but it makes him feel all warm and fuzzy. Watching Taehyung enjoying himself makes Jungkook feel good, too. It makes him happy.
And then, Taehyung turns to look at him, brushing back his wet hair with his fingers, and then doubling up in laughter. Then, he yells at Jungkook over the noise of the rain. "You look so stupid with your hair all wet." But Jungkook doesn't mind. Only sighs, and smiles at him.
"Do you want to teach me how to dance in the rain?" Jungkook yells back. "Sure, come here." Taehyung gestures him to come over, the biggest smile on his face.
Jungkook walks towards him, and combs his hair backwards with his fingers so he doesn't look stupid anymore. He wants to look good for Taehyung. "Does my hair look okay now?" He teases. Taehyung nods, pleased. "Very handsome." And then, Jungkook holds out his hand. "Shall we?"
Taehyung looks at his held out palm for a bit, and then takes it, heart loud in his chest. The rain, Jungkook and him. This is the most romantic shit ever, and Taehyung doesn't know how to contain the feeling in his heart.
Both of them just freeze for a bit, looking at each other, and Taehyung doesn't want to get his hopes up but he feels like he sees a flicker of something in Jungkook's eye. Something he knows all too well because he feels it for Jungkook himself.
"Jungkook." Taehyung says, drowning out in the rain. If he's going to be honest with him, he should just go all the way. "I'm kind of falling for you harder." Jungkook's other hand slides around Taehyung's waist, and his eyes lock onto Taehyung's eyes. "Yeah?"
Taehyung nods, raindrops cascading over both their faces. "I can't help it. Don't you feel anything at all?" And Jungkook feels his limbs go a little cold, but somehow, Taehyung's touch still comforts him. "I do, and it's scaring me a little."
At first, Taehyung can't even believe the words. He doesn't want to look too excited, so he tries not to change his expression at all. "Scaring you? Why?" He just asks, squeezing tighter against Jungkook's palms. In response, Jungkook's hand tightens against his waist.
"Because I don't know how to handle it." Jungkook says honestly, looking Taehyung in the eye. "I've kept that side of mine locked away for years." Taehyung gulps, and brings his hands from Jungkook's shoulder up to his neck, and then his cheek, cupping it. "May I ask why?"
Jungkook shrugs. "The last time I loved an omega, it didn't end well." He laughs. "She thought I was way too involved, cared way too much, and she didn't like it. Broke my heart after that." Taehyung's brows draw together. "Well, she was an idiot, then."
Jungkook laughs harder this time. "Already taking your husband's side? Even though I hurt you a few weeks ago and we got off to a rocky start?" Taehyung smiles. "For starters, I know my husband is a nice guy, no matter what." Jungkook's heart clenches.
"I'm sorry." Jungkook says. "Don't be." Taehyung assures him. "Just be honest with me from now on. And it might sound cheesy and needy, but I hope you fall for me too." Jungkook bites his lips. "Will you let me kiss you then?"
Taehyung laughs uncontrollably, head burying into Jungkook's shoulders. "What?! Is that your main concern?" "One of my concerns." Jungkook shrugs. "You have really nice lips, it's not my fault." "Wow, you want to kiss me that bad?" Taehyung looks back up at him, faces close.
Jungkook's breath catches in his throat. Taehyung's face is wet, close to him, and his lips look even more appealing now. "Maybe." Taehyung shrugs. "Okay. Then maybe, someday, I'll let you." Jungkook sighs. "Okay, I'll be waiting then, I guess."
"Okay." Taehyung smiles, screaming on the inside but acting all cool. "And..." Jungkook asks, hold on Taehyung relaxing as they start to sway in the rain slowly. "Can I propose one more change in whatever I asked of you that night?"
Taehyung looks confused. "What?" "Well." Jungkook clears this throat, spins Taehyung around, and then brings him back closer to his body. "I think we should be exclusive to each other, if you're okay with it."
Taehyung can't believe what he's hearing, but heck yeah, he's okay with it. He suppresses his inner voice that's yelling, and maintains a calm demeanor in front of Jungkook, as he brings his mouth close to Jungkook's ears, and whispers. "Okay. I don't mind."
For the first time in forever, Jungkook is excited to run back home. There's someone waiting for him. Someone he's excited to see. Living alone for so long, he had forgotten what it must feel like.
He restlessly taps his feet on the elevator floor, unable to wait to get back to his apartment. He's so excited to see Taehyung. After they came home drenched last night, Jungkook had caught a cold and Taehyung took such good care of him.
He kept apologizing because he felt like it was his fault, but Jungkook didn't mind at all. It somehow made him feel closer to Taehyung, and Jungkook can't wait to see him again.
He rings the doorbell, excited to see Taehyung's reaction because he's home early. It's a surprise – Taehyung doesn't even know. Jungkook even picked up some flowers on his way back home, and he holds them behind his back as he waits.
He's got a whole, huge bouquet of red roses, because it's exactly what Taehyung's scent is like. Jungkook waits for a minute or two, but starts to get impatient. Immediately, he fishes his phone out of his pocket, and dials Taehyung's number.
A very sleepy sounding Taehyung picks his phone up. "Jungkook?" "Tae, I'm home." Jungkook said. "Sorry, were you sleeping? I didn't know. I must have a key somewhere. Don't get up. I'll come in myself."
Jungkook ends the call, and looks inside the depths of his pockets and bags, until he finds the key. He turns it in the knob, and the moment he steps in and shuts the door behind himself, Taehyung's scent engulfs him, and his body relaxes against the door. "I'm home, Tae."
He sets his bag down by the table, and takes his shoes, suit jacket and tie off. He grabs the bouquet again, and makes his way for the bedroom. The door is already half open, and Taehyung must be inside, because it smells like his scent is filling up the room.
"Tae?" Jungkook grabs the knob, and starts to push the door inwards. "Taehyung?" But when he opens the door, Taehyung isn't on the bed. He's not even in the room.
Jungkook stands there, confused and a little concerned. The bouquet hangs loose in his hand now, as he looks around. He thinks of checking the other spare bedroom, but then there's a loud thud that comes from the bathroom.
Jungkook drops the bouquet, and runs. He pushes the door open in a second, and his heart comes up to his mouth at the sight he sees in front of him.
"Tae?" Jungkook stares in horror, wanting to reach out and help him up. "What happened?" Taehyung lies on the floor, looking weak and like he's been crying, the glow of his face gone and a pained expression on his face.
"Jungkook..." Taehyung's voice is weak, almost cracking. "I came here to get painkillers." "Why?" Jungkook kneels down, hands reaching out to hold Taehyung's. "Are you hurting, Tae?"
Taehyung nods, body heavy when Jungkook tries to pull him up. Jungkook pulls him in closer, wrapping his arms around him, heart breaking at the sight. "What's wrong?" "Jungkook." Taehyung wraps his arms around him. "I..I started my heat. I really need you right now."
And Jungkook's heart stops in his chest, Taehyung's body limp in his arms and his alpha kicking in full on. He holds Taehyung tighter, and whispers against his neck. "I'm right here, baby. Don't worry."
I'll stop here for tonight. A lot of development happened in this update. 👀👀 Let me know your thoughts please. Hope you enjoyed reading, stay safe and take care!! 💗💗
Jungkook gets up, lifting Taehyung in his arms as he does, and Taehyung's arms automatically wrap around his shoulders. He's writhing in pain and it's making Jungkook's mind go blank.
He can't believe the word he just uttered, and neither can Taehyung. But it feels so easy, so natural. So fitting. And so, Jungkook decides not to regret it.
He acts promptly nevertheless, and grabs the medicine bottle that must have slipped from Taehyung's hands, before heading out of the bathroom, Taehyung still in his arms. He hurries to the bed and carefully lays Taehyung down, as if he were the most fragile thing in the world.
But as soon as he starts to pull back, Taehyung grabs him by the bicep, and stops him. "Wait." Taehyung says, face still pained. "Don't go."
Jungkook's heart breaks, and he can feel his alpha getting more and more protective. But if he's being honest, at this point he can't tell if the feelings are stemming from his alpha or from his own self.
"I'm not." Jungkook whispers close to Taehyung's face, looking into his eyes. "Just going to get you some water and snacks from the other room." Taehyung nods, and lets go. But then, he takes a good look at Jungkook and his eyes go wide in realisation.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Taehyung says, clutching his stomach which is still hurting. "Please get changed first, Jungkook. Change into something comfortable." "No, it's fine." Jungkook stands up straight, feeling a little giddy at how domestic this feels.
"What do you mean it's fine?" Taehyung asks. "I separated all our home clothes into a separate closet. Go and grab one. You can wear mine too, it's fine." Jungkook stares, hands on his waist. It's really, really sinking in that they're married.
Jungkook nods, and leaves to change. He comes back way sooner than Taehyung expects, now clad in grey sweatpants and a very baggy black t-shirt. He carries some juice in one hand and lots of snacks in the other.
"Uh, I wasn't sure what you would like exactly..." Jungkook says, staring at the food in his hands. "So I got you one of everything I had in the kitchen." And it's every time that Jungkook says stuff like this that Taehyung falls a little more for him.
"You need to stop being sweet." Taehyung turns around and buries his head into a pillow. Jungkook's brows draw inwards. "Why? This is my responsibility. To take care of you on your heat. And I don't mind it at all."
"I'm going fall in love with you if you don't stop." Taehyung says, blushing hard even through the pain. "Seriously." Jungkook's eyes widen, and he clears his throat. "Ahh, must... Must be the bond." He says, and nervously chuckles.
Jungkook's body is longing for Taehyung too, and maybe now, his heart as well, but he controls himself. His first priority right now is to make sure Taehyung is okay. He sets the food packets and juice on the bedstand, and takes a seat next to Taehyung.
Jungkook knows the rules – he knows how alphas are supposed to take care of omegas. But he's never actually done it before. He's never been with one through their heat. It's his first time, and he's freaking out a little because he wants to take care of Taehyung well.
"Um, Tae." Jungkook begins, hands hesitant to touch Taehyung's head, but the he does it anyway, combing through his hair with his fingers. "What do you want me to do? Anything, just tell me." Taehyung bites his lips as he speaks into the pillow. "I'm..."
Jungkook gulps. "Yeah. You're?" Taehyung squeezes his eyes shut, the embarassment washing over him but the need has to be fulfilled. "I'll tell you later. But for starters, can you please just hold me?"
Jungkook immediately sets into action, arms coming to wrap around Taehyung's body and turn him around first as Jungkook slowly lies down beside him. He makes sure they're face to face because he wants to look at Taehyung.
Once he settles, he pulls Taehyung a little closer so that their bodies are pressed together. Jungkook can feel Taehyung's heart beating against his chest. Or maybe it's his own– he's no less nervous.
He pushes back a strand of hair, and lets his eyes roam over Taehyung's face. He looks weak and the color is gone from his face, but Jungkook has to admit. "You're so beautiful even like this." He whispers. "How do you do it?"
The atmosphere lightens, and Taehyung chuckles as he relaxes. "I don't do anything." "Exactly. You don't even try." Jungkook says, hands now sliding down to caress Taehyung's cheek. He wants to kiss Taehyung's lips so bad.
"You're making me blush now." Taehyung complains. "I don't think anyone has called me beautiful on my heat ever." "Really? That's strange." Jungkook squeezes tighter around Taehyung's body. "Maybe they should see an ophthalmologist."
"It was hurting so much." Taehyung says. "But as soon as you held me, I feel so much better." "That's good." Jungkook says, voice gentle. "I'll stay here by your side. What do you want to eat for dinner tonight? I'll cook for you."
And Taehyung thinks how sad it is that someone like Jungkook doesn't really care about love. Maybe. He can see changes, sure, but Taehyung still isn't certain, and it scares him.
"If you leave to cook, I'll start to be uncomfortable here all by myself again." Taehyung says, digging his fingers into Jungkook's muscles. "Do you want me to order something then?" Jungkook asks.
"Right now, I don't want to talk about food." Taehyung explains. "You being here is all I need to make me feel good." And Jungkook knows that, and still, it makes him feel butterflies. "Oh. Really?"
"Really." Taehyung confirms. "Gosh, I don't even try to hide how I feel about you, do I?" Jungkook hums, leaning in to where Taehyung's head is snuggled against his neck. "Don't hide it. It's nice."
"Oh yeah?" Taehyung's head perks up, and his heart is beating so loud. "And what about you? How do you feel?" Jungkook looks him in the eyes, and tells him the truth. "I like it when you're around."
And Taehyung searches his eyes, and finds nothing but genuine emotion in them. He can sense that Jungkook is telling him the truth. And anyway, he has felt something shift of late. But he really hopes it's not just because of the bond.
But Taehyung will take this for what it is. 'I like it when you're around.' sounds so much better than 'I won't emotionally invest myself into this marriage.'
And even though he's emotionally charged right now, his hormones are still taking over him. There's a whole omega inside of him waiting to be tended to. And when Taehyung remembers and looks at Jungkook under him, he can't control himself any more.
"Jungkook..." Taehyung says, biting his lips. "Hmm?" Jungkook asks. Taehyung comes closer himself, and buries his face into Jungkook's chest, much to his surprise. "Since I'm on my heat...and you know how things are. So..."
"Hmm?" Jungkook asks, heart throbbing in his chest at the proximity, and thinking what Taehyung could mean. Taehyung doesn't answer with words. Just throws one leg over Jungkook's body, and climbs on top of him.
Jungkook's breath hitches at the sudden change in position, but he takes it in his stride, letting his hands slide to Taehyung's waist and not breaking eye contact. "I'm feeling...." Taehyung slurs, the words trailing off as gently grinds against Jungkook, head thrown back.
Taehyung is losing control over himself as his omega takes over to fulfill his needs. But he knows what he's doing – and he likes it. Doesn't want to stop. Jungkook doesn't want him to stop either. He gets what Taehyung means, and he lets him buck his hips into Jungkook's body.
"Jungkook." Taehyung says, voice merely a desperate whisper, as he lowers his face to nibble on Jungkook's ears. Jungkook's breathing gets heavy, as Taehyung whispers into his ears. "Can I please have you tonight?"
"Yes." The answer is quicker than Jungkook would have liked for it to come out. "You can...have me. Tonight." Taehyung colors a tint deeper, eyes shut in pleasure. And then, Jungkook says. "Every night. If you, umm, if you want to."
Taehyung's erection rubs against Jungkook's stomach, and Jungkook can't tell if it's just his alpha reacting, because Jungkook himself wants Taehyung too. Just as bad. Taehyung purrs against Jungkook's neck. "Fuck, sorry. Sorry, I can't control myself."
"Don't." Jungkook says. "That's what I'm here for. It's only natural." Taehyung relaxes a little, giggling. "Sounds like I'm using you." "You're not." Jungkook cards his fingers through Taehyung's hair again. "I'm your husband."
Taehyung gently grunts, thrusting his hip into Jungkook's abdomen again, and Jungkook can feel himself getting hard. He tightens his hold on Taehyung's waist, and yanks him backwards so he's sitting right on top of his crotch now.
"There." He tells Taehyung. "Is that better?" Taehyung grabs his neck, lowering down to nibble at his jaw now, humming in satisfaction, and Jungkook lets him hump him. "Feels so good." Taehyung rasps.
"So I can have my way with you?" Taehyung whispers, voice sultry and challenging this time, and it ignites something in Jungkook. "Yeah." "So you knew I'm on my heat and yet..." Taehyung says. Jungkook frowns, confused.
And then, Taehyung slides his hand in between his legs, and grabs Jungkook's erection through the fabric. "And yet, you chose to wear grey sweatpants." Taehyung says. "Do you know how hot you look right now? Are you trying to entice me?"
Jungkook throws his head back, amused, and a big smile on his face. "Do you want me to?" "Yes." Taehyung says, rubbing Jungkook over the fabric. Taehyung is extra clingy, extra needy and extra bold on his heat. But Jungkook doesn't mind at all.
"I'm going to keep this up." Taehyung says, out of breath and looking like a dream on top of Jungkook. "If you don't stop me." "I would never stop you." Jungkook says. "Also, once again, we're married. You are allowed to do this."
"Call me baby again." Taehyung demands, voice whiny and bratty. Jungkook takes in a deep breath, heart beating extra loud. Blushing, he grabs Taehyung's wrist, and says. "Keep going, baby."
Taehyung grunts at the pet name this time, bucking harder into Jungkook, and then opens his eyes to look into Jungkook's. And then, he sees it again. The genuine adoration that completely falls in line with the behavior Jungkook has been exhibiting for the last couple of days.
Jungkook's eyes aren't lying, and Taehyung can feel all his remaining walls crumble down. He watches as Jungkook brings himself up to gently pepper Taehyung's neck with kisses, and makes sure not to accidentally kiss his lips out of excitement.
Taehyung stops Jungkook when he's sinking his teeth into his collarbones, and Jungkook looks up, a little horrified. "Is something wrong?" Jungkook asks. "Are collarbones off limits too?"
And then, Taehyung feels all his insides turn into mush as he grabs Jungkook's face gently with both his hands. And then, he leans forward, and closes the distance between their lips with a kiss.
Jungkook doesn't kiss back at first – because he is so shocked. But then, his eyes close on their own accord and his hands come up behind Taehyung's head, as he starts to slowly kiss him back. And it feels like Jungkook finally sees paradise.
"Fuck, you have no idea how long I've wanted this, baby." Jungkook whispers into Taehyung's mouth. "How bad I've wanted this. You taste like heaven." And Taehyung basks in his words, all the ache in his body long forgotten. "I'm sorry that I stopped you from kissing me."
Jungkook shakes his head. "You did whatever you were comfortable with. You drew a line. And that's the right thing to do." Taehyung feels like crying, and Jungkook continues. "I would rather give up being physical than do something to make you uncomfortable."
"Oh my God." Taehyung says. "Jungkook, I can't stop liking you. And I never will, I'm afraid." And then, Jungkook lets his guard down, finally, and decides that it's safe to admit. "Tae... I think I really, really like you, too."
And in that moment, Taehyung lets himself break down and cry. He brings his arms up to wrap them around Jungkook, and hooks his chin into the crook of Jungkook's neck. "I can't believe this." "I'm sorry." Jungkook says. "I've upset you so much."
Taehyung shakes his head. "No, it's all in the past." "I can't stop thinking about you. Ever." Jungkook admits. "Is it the bond? I think it goes beyond the bond now."
Taehyung feels like he's floating, as the words leave Jungkook's mouth. "I got you... Roses today." Jungkook sheepishly says. Taehyung stares back, wide–eyed and falling harder. "Because I... Smell like roses?" Jungkook nods. "And because I wanted to."
Taehyung wipes his wet eyes, and once again, kisses Jungkook. Much more fervently this time, and while he's at it, he once again rubs over Jungkook's crotch. "Is it weird that I still want you to get me off?" Taehyung asks.

Taehyung lets his weight onto Jungkook like he trusts him. Taehyung knows he can trust him. And Jungkook can sense it. It makes his insides feel extra warm and tingly, even with the mess they've made.
"Let me finish you off, Jungkook." Taehyung offers. "Yeah, but first..." Jungkook holds Taehyung's wrist. "I need to kiss you. A billion times over."
And so he does. He kisses Taehyung for the next few minutes, forgetting that he needs to breathe as well. Taehyung is enjoying it so much. He can't believe that Jungkook changed so much just within the last few weeks, and it's making everything feel like a dream.
"And, I need to tell you something." Jungkook says, disconnecting their lips, not caring about being still hard. "I need to make one final change." Taehyung looks up at him, eyes curious and heart beating.
"How about we forget everything I said at the bar that night and start over?" Jungkook asks. "Tae, I don't know what it is, or why it is, but I know that I want you in my life. And I take back my harsh words. I never want to hurt you again." Taehyung nods, tears spilling out.
"And I want to invest myself physically, emotionally, and in every possible way into this marriage." Jungkook says, holding Taehyung's hands up and kissing his knuckles. "Please give us a fresh start. I want to love you. Let me learn how to."
And Taehyung's lips tremble, and his heart hammers against his chest because these words are so overwhelming for him. He simply throws his arms around Jungkook, and buries his head into his neck once more. "Shit, I would give you anything you ask for."
"So... How do we go about this?" Jungkook asks, visibly nervous. "I want to do it right." Taehyung cups his face tenderly, and presses a soft kiss to his lips. "Any way we go about is fine. We're on the same page now."
Jungkook smiles at him, tucking his hair behind his hair and admiring his beautiful face once more. "Okay then." Jungkook says. "I hope I can love my husband better than anyone else in the word."
