Jungkook rests his chin on Taehyung's shoulder from behind, glancing at the screen on his phone.
"Does he make you happy?"
Jungkook stares at the picture. It makes him want to slap the phone out of Taehyung's hand or smash it against the wall.
The smile on that guy's face in the picture mocks Jungkook. It shows him what he has lost.
You let him go. You will never have him again. You fucked up.
Jungkook closes his eyes and inhales Taehyung's familiar scent. He resists the urge to wrap his arms around his waist.
"Does he make you laugh? Does he care about you? Does he-"
Does he love you like I do?
Taehyung shoves his phone back into his pocket and creates some distance between them.
"What are you doing, Jungkook? Why are you asking me that?"
Jungkook stares at Taehyung's back, knowing that he hates it. Hates those questions because Jungkook has no right to ask them.
But Jungkook is stubborn. He is selfish.
"Why can't you just answer me? It shouldn't be too hard, right? You are dating after all."
Taehyung turns around, his eyes pleading Jungkook not to go any further with this.
"Yes, we are dating. You wanted me to. You pushed me away. Remember? Don't ask me about my feelings towards him. It doesn't matter."
"It matters to me. We are still friends, right? And as a friend, I am allowed to ask if you are ha-"
"Yes, yes I am happy."
Taehyung's eyes turn into slits as he steps closer, glaring at Jungkook- not looking happy at all.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. I am fucking delighted! He- he is okay with my model job. He patiently waits for me whenever I am out of town. He waits until I come back without being jealous or sulky. He doesn't care about others. I am /happy/. Is your question answered?"
Jungkook stares into his eyes, sees the truth there. He can read Taehyung like a book. He knows him inside out. He is lying. But that's fine. It's easier for both of them this way.
"Good. Then I am happy for you, too."
Taehyung scoffs and crosses his arms in front of his chest.
"Why are you looking at me with big sad eyes then?"
He doesn't deserve you. You are too precious. Too vulnerable.
"I can't do anything about my eyes. That's just how they are."
"They lost their sparkle."
Jungkook turns around, balling his hands into fists. He shouldn't have started talking about it. It hurts. He should leave.
"Do you want me to take you home?"
"No. Bogum is going to pick me up."
Bogum. Jungkook hates that name. He hates hearing it out of Taehyung's mouth. It makes his blood boil.
"I see. Then I will leave first."
Taehyung looks at him in confusion.
"It's your gym. Don't you need to close it?"
Jungkook cursed silently. Of course, he needs to close the gym. He's the fucking owner. He has to wait until Taehyung leaves.
But Jungkook doesn't want to stay here any longer. He doesn't want to see Bogum. He doesn't want to see them together.
"I need to be somewhere. We're done with your individual training, so- leave now. I need to close the gym."
Taehyung runs a hand through his fluffy hair.
Jungkook has always loved to play with his hair. The urge to sink his fingers into the soft strands was overwhelming.
But Bogum still needs fifteen minutes to get here-"
Taehyung trails off and moves towards the door.
"But if you need to be somewhere, then- I'll just wait outside."
Jungkook glances out of the window. The rain hammers against it. It is dark and windy outside.
"See you next week," Taehyung says in a sulking voice and reaches for the door handle.
"It is raining cats and dogs. Stay inside and wait here."
Taehyung turns around and looks at Jungkook with an unsure smile.
"But you just said that you need to be some-"
"It's fine. I can wait for fifteen more minutes, I guess."
Taehyung says nothing for a moment and heavy silence falls between them.
Jungkook stares at him and Taehyung stares out the window. He seems nervous, biting his lower lip in thought.
"Does he know about us?"
"What?" Taehyung asks and turns his head to face him. His uneasy expression shows that he knows what Jungkook is talking about.
"Does Bogum know who I am?"
"I told him that you are a friend."
"/A/ friend?" Jungkook scoffs and walks casually towards Taehyung, pretending to turn off the heating. "We have been best friends since fourth grade-"
"We are not best friends anymore though. Things happened between us."
Taehyung's voice sounded dismissive.
Things? They have been in a relationship. They have been madly in love.
"Does he know that we were a couple and-"
"I don't want to talk about that."
Of course not.
Jungkook huffs. He is getting frustrated because of Taehyung.
And he feels hot in his long-sleeve shirt. Jungkook pulls it over his head and tosses it on the window sill.
"W-what are you doing?"
Taehyung's voice sounds higher and alarmed. He averts his eyes in a flash and lowers his gaze, finding a sudden interest in his hands.
"I am hot and sweaty after exercising. And since I need to wait until I can take a shower- why are you blushing?"
"I am not blushing. It's just very warm in here."
Jungkook often had that effect on Taehyung in the past. He had loved to make him blush.
"Okay- if you say so. Because it would be very weird if you would blush beause of my bare upper body. You have seen me naked before. You have traced every line of my abs with your ton-"
"Yah!" Taehyung snaps his head up to glare at Jungkook. His cheeks are colored in a deeper red. "Stop talking about that!"
"Fine. But if you feel hot, too, you can undress as well. I am okay with it."
"No, thank you."
Jungkook looks at Taehyung's stubborn pout and feels the urge to kiss it away. But he has lost that privilege.
Jungkook trails his eyes down Taehyung's body. He had always had a weakness for his body. His curves are enticing.
"Why do you need to exercise anyway? You are perfect."
Taehyung's eyes widen slightly and he looks flustered.
"I am not. They want me to lose some fat. My tummy is not toned enough and my butt is- I just need to work on my body some more."
Jungkook hates them. Taehyung's model agency, the media, Bogum.
Jungkook could not find any flaws in Taehyung's body and he hates everyone who does.
"I know you don't care about my opinion anymore, but your tummy is soft and cute, and your ass. Fuck, your ass is so fine. I couldn't keep my hands off-"
Taehyung stares at him, his soft brown eyes begging him to stop.
"Please. I don't want to talk about my body."
Jungkook flails his hands in the air dramatically.
"You don't want to talk about us. You don't want to talk about Bogum, and you don't want to talk about your body. I thought we are friends. Why are you so fucking sensitive?"
Hearing his words seems to trigger something in Taehyung. A scowl appears on his face as he closes the distance, poking his finger against Jungkook's chest.
"Fuck you. We /are/ friends, so why are you trying to-"
The double door to the gym opens and Taehyung flinches away from Jungkook.
Bogum walks inside with quick steps.
"Babe, I left earlier to- why are you half-naked?"
Bogum fixes Jungkook with a hard stare, his body visibly tense.
"I feel hot and sweaty after exercising- though it's none of your business."
"You are alone with /my/ boyfriend, not wearing a shirt. It /is/ my business."
Jungkook holds his angry gaze. He doesn't care.
Bogum is a well-known actor. Rich. Pretty popular. Many fans.
Jungkook doesn't care about that. He has never been star-struck before. A lot of famous people would come to his gym. He is used to be around VIPs.
"It's /my/ gym. I can do whatever I want in here."
Bogum sighs. He is probably trying to keep his composure. He turns his eyes on Taehyung and approaches him.
"What were you two doing before I came?" Bogum asks with a smile which doesn't reach his eyes.
Taehyung takes Bogum's offered hand, lacing his fingers with his.
"Jungkook was so nice to let me wait inside because of the heavy rain."
Jungkook stares at their hands. It doesn't look right. He feels as if something very precious has been stolen from him.
"I am here now," Bogum mumbles. He side-eyes Jungkook before cupping Taehyung's cheek, pressing a kiss on his lips.
Jungkook burns. He burns with anger and rage. He wants to grab Bogum, throw him to the ground and beat the shit out of him. But he can't.
"We should go now. Jungkook has still somewhere to be," Taehyung says and glances at him. Something in his eyes flickers, something that almost looks like guilt.
Taehyung gives Jungkook a hesitant smile.
"See you next week."
Bogum doesn't spare him another glance as they leave the gym.
Jungkook waits until they are out of sight before he lets out a scream. He turns around and punches his fist into the wall.
Jungkook yelps and clutches his hand to his chest. It hurts- but not as much as his heart.
[ This was supposed to be a prompt, but now I can't stop writing..
Jungkook stares at his screen and sighs. He is weak. He is a weak idiot.
Jungkook still can't say no to Taehyung. He still can't deny him anything.
And he wants to see him as often as he can. He misses Taehyung- though Jungkook knows that seeing him hurts even more.
Jungkook groans and shoves his phone back into his pocket.
"That little brat. I will make him pay for-"
"Am I doing this right?"
Jungkook snaps his head at his client, who is struggling with the biceps machine.
"Yes. You are doing great. Keep going."
Yugyeom smiles up at him. He was another famous client, who has started to take individual training lessons wlth Jungkook.
Yugyeom is nice, but keeping his body fit doesn't seem his sole reason for coming to the gym. He flirts a lot.
"So, Jungkook- when will you finally take the hint and go out with me?"
"Sorry. I don't do dates."
Yugyeom sighs and stops his exercise.
"Whoever has hurt you in the past should definitively get-"
The door opens and Taehyung enters the gym. As usual, he looks effortlessly charming and seriously hot despite only wearing his training clothes.
"Hi. I go get ready and then we can start," Taehyung says with a grin while passing them. He seems to be in a good mood.
"You have to wait until I am done with Yugyeom. He still has fifteen minutes left," Jungkook mutters, not even trying to hide his annoyance.
He hates that Taehyung is always getting what he wants. Jungkook hates himself once again for being so weak.
Yugyeom stands up and yawns.
"I am tired."
"I know. One last machine and then you are done," Jungkook says and motions him to follow him towards the leg machine.
"I hate this one," Yugyeom whines and sits down with a pout.
"That's why it's the last machine. You would-"
Jungkook trails off when his eyes turn on Taehyung who comes walking out of the changing room.
What the fuck?
Taehyung has been coming to his gym for one
month now. It is the first time Jungkook sees him wear /this/.
Are you kidding me?
Taehyung is wearing shorts, tight shorts- and a sleeveless shirt with a low cut. Too revealing. Too sexy.
Jungkook glares at him, but says nothing since they are not alone. Not yet.
Taehyung looks unbothered and sits down on the weight bench right next to them. He crosses his long, sinful legs and fixes Jungkook with a stare.
"Ignore me. I am just going to wait here."
[ I don't know where I will go with this drabble/AU, but just to be safe- please, be 18 to read this
( I don't write smut though ) ]
Jungkook clears his throat and averts his eyes. He glances at his client, almost feeling bad for not paying enough attention to him right now.
Yugyeom seems to be done and gets up with a smile.
"Finally. You exhausted me today."
"And you are paying me money for doing that," Jungkook replies with a chuckle. He steps back,
but Yugyeom closes the distance and wraps his arms around him all of a sudden.
Jungkook doesn't like it. Yugyeom ist sweaty and he smells.
"Thank you, /trainer/. See you next time."
"Sure. See you."
Jungkook stays polite. He needs to. He gets too much money for this.
"I am out of here then. Bye bye," Yugyeom singsongs and walks towards the door.
"Why did he hug you?"
"What the fuck are you wearing?"
Taehyung and Jungkook ask at the same time.
[ Since I am still at my parents place, my updates will be very irregulary today. Just warning you in advance
Jungkook glares down at Taehyung, forcing himself not to stare at his collarbones.
"There's a gym policy here, alright? You can't just wear /underwear/ for training."
Taehyung scoffs and stands up.
"This is not underwear. You don't have a policy for the VIPs anyway. And I am happen to be one."
He is right.
Taehyung glances at the door and then back at Jungkook.
"And what's going on with you and Yugyeom? Is he your new lover?"
Jungkook scoffs and turns away.
"Let's just start with your training, which was not scheduled for today by the way. But first, go and change into something more suitable."
"What? No! Bogum bought me these. It's a present. And I can wear whatever the fuck I want!"
Jungkook clenches his jaw and tongues his cheek.
"What a twat. I would never let you leave the house, wearing something like this-"
"But it's not your damn business! Not anymore," Taehyung hisses, his good mood was gone. "Isn't that one of the main reason we didn't work out? Your possessive, jealous ass-"
"Are you seriously starting to talk about that right now?"
Taehyung meets Jungkook's eyes and gives him a challenging look.
"Why? You wanted me to talk two days ago. And you are insulting my boyfriend right now-"
"Shut up." Jungkook has heard enough. He runs a hand through his hair, not taking his eyes off Taehyung. "Get down and do 15 push ups."
"What? All of a sudden?"
"You came here because you ate three burgers last night, right? So, start your training," Jungkook mutters and crosses his arms in front of his chest, looking away- staring out of the window.
He is mad. Mad at Taehyung. Mad at himself.
"But don't I need to stretch first or something like that?"
"No. Just start."
Taehyung huffs, but listens and crouches down with a sigh.
"Fucking impolite trainer."
Jungkook tells himself not to look at Taehyung. He tries to force himself- but his gaze is drawn to the other involuntarily.
Jungkook's eyes trail over that body he used to worship every day. He stares at the curve between Taehyung's waist and his ass, biting his lower lip.
"Am I doing it right?"
"No, you need to get lower."
"Huh?" Taehyung raps, already struggling. "I am not in the military."
"Then stop eating burgers."
Taehyung stands up after only completing nine push-ups.
"That's enough. What's next?"
Jungkook doesn't force him to do another six. He knows Taehyung and his physique. He isn't the type to exercise a lot. His agency is probably forcing him. Jungkook is almost sure of that.
Taehyung stretches with a yawn and Jungkook freezes as Taehyung's shirt raises, revealing several bruises on his waist.
What the fuck?
Jungkook reaches out and gently brushes his fingers across Taehyung's skin, causing goosebumps to appear.
Taeyhung's breath hitches in his throat and he leaps back, almost hitting his head against the wall behind him.
"Where do you think you are touching?"
"What happened? Why do you have so many bruises on your waist?"
Taehyung averts his eyes and moves, heading for the bicep machine.
"It's none of your business. But I bruise easily, as you know."
Jungkook shudders with the memory of pushing Taehyung against any surface and taking him the way he wanted to be taken. He remembers kissing those bruises one by one afterwards, apologizing for being too fierce.
But wait. Does that mean-
"Is it Bogum? Does he /hurt/ you?" Jungkook asks and almost growls, balling his fists.
Taehyung sighs and sits down in front of the machine.
"No. Can we stop talking now? I came here to exercise."
Jungkook stares at him.
"What are you doing? You don't need to exercise your biceps today. You came here for your tummy, didn't you?"
Taehyung seems to think and stands up again, scratching his chin.
"Right. So- what's next then?"
"Where are the bruises from?" Jungkook asks again and approaches Taehyung. He can't help it. He needs to know.
"We are friends. Just tell me."
Taehyung groans and pulls his shirt as far down as he could.
"It's my job. Sometimes I need to change my clothes really quick- and staff is not always gentle. It just happens."
Jungkook wants to meet his staff. Wants to hurt them.
Taehyung lowers his head and curses all of a sudden.
"What the- oh my God. What happened to your fingers?"
Taehyung clasped Jungkook's hand with both of his and turns it to stare at his knuckles.
"I punched something," Jungkook replies and stares at Taehyung's furrowed brows and his worried expression.
"What? Why? Was it a punching bag? Did you not wear your gloves?"
It was a wall and I punched it because of you.
"Yeah, something like that."
Jungkook pulls his hand away- Taehyung's touch feels like a burn.
"You should be more careful-"
"You should go on the threadmill next."
Something like hurt flickers across his face, but Taehyung nods and follows Jungkook to the other room.
"What kind of event will it be?" Jungkook asks because the silence is too much for him.
Taehyung scoffs and climbs on the threadmill.
"You were never interested in my job before. Why would you start now?"
"I am just trying to have a conversation with you. Why you gotta make this so complicated?"
Taehyung huffs and cranks up the speed on the treadmill.
"It's too fast. Turn it down."
You are so fucking stubborn! And why is it that I can't say anything, because you think whatever I say is too annoy you? That's not even true. We-"
Taehyung almost falls off the treadmill when he snaps his head in Jungkook's direction.
"I told you that it is too fast!" Jungkook hisses and reaches out to hit the pause button on the machine. "What the fuck is wrong? You were in a good mood when you came here, why are you-"
"Shut the fuck up!"
Taehyung steps down from the treadmill. He seems to seeth with anger.
"You are asking /me/ what's wrong? I can't believe it! /You/ broke up with me two years ago! /You/ couldn't accept my model job-"
"Now you are acting like it was me! That's fucking unfair! You ask me dumb questions about my feelings, trying to make me feel bad. You look at me and Bogum, making me feel as if I cheated on you. You wanted to stay friends! Don't ask me what's wrong! What's wrong with /you/?"
Jungkook stills. He could see every emotion that crosses Taehyung's face. And Jungkook is tired. He is tired to argue with him.
"Maybe you are right in one thing: I wanted us to stay friends. And I guess it was the wrong-"
Taehyung grabs Jungkook's arms, his eyes wide with sudden fear.
"Don't. Don't cancel our friendship. Please."
[ Update soon ]
[ Please choose: ]
Jungkook looks into Taehyung's eyes. He could drown in those warm, pretty brown eyes now filled with fear. He sighs.
"We argue every time you come here. Aren't- aren't you tired, too?"
Taehyung opens and closes his mouth again. He grimaces. He must know exactly what Jungkook is talking about.
"I know. I- it's just that you are the only constant thing in my life. It feels like I know you for ages. And I just-"
Jungkook lets out a long sigh. He doesn't want to lose him either.
Jungkook would rather live a life knowing Taehyung isn't his and will never be again than live a life without him in it at all.
It is fucked up.
"W-what are you thinking right now? I am sorry for yelling at you before. Please, don't kick me out of your life."
Jungkook looks at Taehyung. At his stormy eyes framed by long pretty lashes. At his features he has memorized long ago.
And then it hit Jungkook. He has been in love with Taehyung since the first day he saw him walking into his class. Even before they became best friends. Even before they shared their first kiss.
He couldn't do it. He couldn't stay friends. He couldn't keep the façade any longer
"Let's be honest- we aren't friends. We haven't been friends since we broke- since our relationship ended."
"That's how you call it now? Wow."
Jungkook steps back and lowers his eyes, ignoring Taehyung's remark.
"We can't be friends. /I/ can't be friends with you. Let's- let's just keep it professional from now on. You are my client and I am your personal trainer. That's all we can be."
Taehyung stares at him and suddenly something shifts in his expression.
Jungkook doesn't like it.
"Fine. If that's what you want- I need to go now."
"But you have just started with your training. I thought you had an important eve-"
"Yeah, about that- there's no event coming up. I guess, I just wanted to see my /friend/ and needed an excuse for that. But- since we are no friends anymore, I don't need to stay here any longer. See you next week then."
Taehyung rushes out of the room. He doesn't even change his clothes before leaving the gym, letting the door fall shut behind him.
Jungkook curses. He wants to run after Taehyung, but what would it change? It's probably for the best to leave it that way.
It is quiet. Only the radio is softly playing in the background.
Jungkook listens to the lyrics and chuckles sadly.
✼ ҉ ✼ ҉
"Do we really need to sit right next to the window?"
Taehyung tries to ignore the paparazzi standing in front of the restaurant, taking pictures of them. Shameless. Provoking.
Bogum glances up from the menu he's holding in his hands.
"Why? We are a celebrity couple. We are handsome and famous. You should be used to it by now. Just ignore him."
Taehyung huffs. He resists the urge to show that paparazzi guy his middle finger.
"We still could sit somewhere in the back to have some privacy."
Bogum sighs and turns his eyes back on the menu.
"Can't you just enjoy our date? And try to smile a little bit. You don't want to look like an annoyed teenager in the pictures, right?"
"I don't give a fuck about that."
"It's okay. Let's just choose what we want to eat."
Taehyung glances at the menu. He doesn't want to start a fight. Not another one.
Bogum is different. Bogum likes the attention.
Taehyung doesn't. He loves his job, but he hates being a public person.
"Why are you in such a bad mood anyway these days?"
Taehyung looks up and waves at the waiter, not in the mood to talk about his feelings.
"Let's order. I am hungry."
"Don't avoid my question, Tae. You are different these days, moodier than usual and troublesome."
Taehyung scoffs and glares at him.
"No, seriously. Actually, it has started after your gym session last week. Did something happen with you and your trainer?"
"What are you talking about? No."
Bogum squints his eyes curiously at Taehyung.
"Are you sure? I mean- your trainer is totally into you."
What the fuck?
"What will it be, gentlemen?"
The male waiter approaches them with a smile on his face.
"Sorry, but can you please give us a few more minutes?" Taehyung says, though he has called for him just a moment ago. But he is busy glaring at Bogum.
"Sure. I will come back later."
"Why did you send the waiter away?"
"Why are you talking bullshit? Jungkook is not into me! He is just a friend."
Bogum glances around before leaning closer across the table.
"Can you please watch your language?! People will hear you talk like a- like a-"
"Like a what?" Taehyung asks and crosses his arms in front of his chest, looking at Bogum in a challenging way.
"You know what I mean. You are a famous model. You are a public person. You should behave appropriately."
Taehyung curses inwardly. He hates that word.
He isn't a six year old who needs to get scolded by his father.
"And why are you freaking out because of Jungkook? I can tell that he is crushing on you. I know guys like him. He is a muscular show-off, trying to woo you with his body- showing his bare chest. It's so clear what that idiot wants and-"
"Stop talking about him like that!" Taehyung hisses and slaps his fist on the table- loud enough for other people to turn their heads.
At least the paparazzi is gone by now.
Bogum looks at Taehyung appalled, nostrils flaring in anger.
He leans back in his chair and breathes deeply in and out, trying to stay calm. But he remains silent.
Taehyung lowers his head with a sigh. He is tired. He wants to go home.
Taehyung likes Bogum. He really does. But if he is honest to himself, he only started to date him to fill the emptiness after Jungkook has left.
It is wrong. Unfair. Taehyung knows that.
Bogum has been at the right place at the right time. He is sweet and nice- at least most of the time.
But Taehyung doesn't love Bogum. He doesn't even know if he could love someone else again after being with Jungkook.
Jungkook never cared about Taehyung's choice of words. He never made him feel like he's not good enough. Jungkook has always protected him. He would have told the paparazzi off immediately. Jungkook is possessive, jealous, impulsive.
He is everything Bogum's not.
"You are acting weird today, Taehyung. Let's just go home. I am not in the mood to eat anymore," Bogum suddenly says, pulling Taehyung out of his thoughts.
"Are you serious?"
Taehyung is surprised as Bogum stands up and walks towards the waiter. He whispers something to him and presses a handful of bills into his hands- in exchange for his discretion.
Taehyung chuckles dryly and stands up as well, heading towards the exit, not waiting for him.
As soon as Taehyung steps outside, Bogum catches up with him. He grabs Taehyung's arm and turns him around.
"What is wrong with you? You are behaving like a pubescent teenager, seriously! You embarrassed me!" Bogum snaps at Taehyung after making sure that there is no one around who could hear him.
Taehyung yanks his arm out of his grasp.
"Careful. Someone could see how short-tempered actor Park Bogum really is."
Taehyung knows he is being mean. But he is annoyed.
And no one can tell him what to do or how to behave. He hates that. And Bogum should know that by now.
"Tae, you are beautiful and lovely- most of the time. But right now you are obnoxious. And I got the feeling that your personal trainer is the reason for it. And I am wondering why."
"Seriously? Why are you bringing Jungkook up again? Maybe /you/ are into him? You seem to be pretty obsessed with his body anyway."
Bogum glares at Taehyung, his lips pressed into a thin line.
"You are so lucky you are pretty. If- what are /you/ doing here?"
Bogum turns his eyes on something or rather someone behind Taehyung.
"Who are you-"
Taehyung trails off as he turns around.
Taehyung hasn't seen him since he had stormed out of his gym last week. He has even cancelled his individual training for today, has texted Jungkook that he's sick. Taehyung wasn't ready to see him. Not yet.
Jungkook faces Taehyung, giving him an once-over. He chuckles dryly.
"I see you are feeling better already. Good for you."
Bogum glances at Taehyung before fixing his eyes back on Jungkook. His eyebrows are furrowed. He looks tense.
"What are you doing here?"
Jungkook scoffs and tilts his head. He seems annoyed.
"Why? Is this your street now? Did you buy it? Am I not allowed to walk on it?"
Taehyung curses under his breath. He doesn't want them to start fighting. And knowing Jungkook's temper- it could happen very fast.
Taehyung clutches Bogum's arm.
"Let's just go home-"
"What is your problem, tattoo boy?" Bogum snaps and shakes Taehyung's hand off. He steps closer towards Jungkook. "Are you jealous because I am f*cking Taehyung?"
What? No way! He didn't just say that.
Jungkook's eyes burn with fury. His jaw is clenched hard enough to snap. He looks dangerous. Sexy and dangerous.
"If you want to play the lead role in another movie, you better get out of my way right now, Park!"
Bogum starts laughing. He laughs like a crazy man.
"I knew it! I knew that you have a thing for my /boyfriend/. Why else would you be mad because of something like that, huh?"
Taehyung is overwhelmed. He doesn't know what to say or what to do. He grabs Bogum's arm again and pulls him aside, stepping in front of him to face Jungkook.
"Please, go. Just go wherever you were heading to. Don't make a scene."
Jungkook looks at him. Something flashes in his eyes, something Taehyung hasn't seen before.
"I wanted to go, but your /boyfriend/ thinks he can annoy the fuck out of me."
Bogum growls behind him and pushes Taehyung aside so hard that he stumbles, almost falling off the sidewalk.
Jungkook wraps an arm around Taehyung's waist and makes sure he won't stumble on the street.
"Sorry, baby. I didn't mean to push you so hard," Bogum says and reaches out for Taehyung's hand.
Jungkook slaps Bogum's arm away with a curse.
"Don't touch Taehyung if you don't know how to treat him right, asshole! I am so close to beat the shit out of you, I swear."
Jungkook glares at Bogum and keeps an arm around Taehyung's waist in a possessive manner.
Taehyung shouldn't find it as hot as he does. He sighs and pulls away from Jungkook, creating some distance between them.
"Alright. I refuse to get down on your level. Tae, baby, let's go."
Taehyung feels cold and he is tired. He wraps his arms around himself.
"You can leave first. I will go home by myself. I need to be alone."
Bogum opens his mouth and closes it again. Then he let's out a long sigh.
"Fine. I forgot that you are very moody today. I will pick you up tomorrow for breakfast, baby. Give me a kiss."
Jungkook scoffs and crosses his arms in front of his chest.
Taehyung shakes his head and steps back.
"No. Just go, Bogum. As you said, I am /very/ moody today. No kiss."
Bogum smiles, acting as if everything is fine. Acting as if he just had the best night ever.
"Okay. I will leave first then."
Taehyung watches him walk away and pinches the bridge of his nose. He feels a headache coming on.
What a waste of a night.
"Are you serious?"
Jungkook's angry voice makes Taehyung turn towards him.
"I asked you about your bruises last week. You told me that they are not from /him/. Are you sure about that?"
Taehyung wants to snap at Jungkook and tell him it's none of his business. But then he remembers Jungkook's words in the gym and shrugs.
"I'm sorry for cancelling our appointment spontaneously. It won't happen again, trainer. If there's nothing else- I want to go home now."
Taehyung turns around and starts walking. He stops in his tracks when Jungkook wraps his coat around his shoulders.
Taehyung shudders as he catches a whiff of Jungkook's intoxicating scent. He has always loved his scent- was always stealing Jungkook's shirts back then.
"Don't. You made yourself clear last week. Please, don't confuse me."
Jungkook grabs him by the shoulders and spins Taehyung to look at him with big sorry eyes.
They stare at each other and there's a beat of silence before Jungkook speaks.
"I don't like Bogum calling you baby."
His words made Taehyung's skin tingle. He curses inwardly. He shouldn't be so affected by Jungkook. He broke up with him. He needs to remember that.
"As far as I know, you didn't invent the word. So, Bogum can call me-"
"But you were always /my/ baby."
Taehyung's breath hitches in his throat. Jungkook's possessive words made his heart leap. But he is also getting very mad because of that.
"Jungkook, I hope that you are drunk right now. Because if you are not- then you are being fucking unfair to me right now. Who gives you the right to say these things to me after breaking up with me, after even cancelling our friendship?"
"Oh my God!! Isn't that Kim Taehyung?"
Two girls are crossing the street right next to them, pointing at Taehyung excitedly.
"That is really him. Oh my God!" the blonde girl squeals as they start heading towards them.
Fuck. Not now. Please.
"Let's get away from here first," Jungkook mumbles. He takes Taehyung's hand and starts running- never giving him the option of not accompanying him.
For a second, Taehyung feels like being in a movie. He doesn't like it though. His day was exhausting and he is too tired to run, but he also doesn't want to deal with some fans right now.
And Jungkook's hand is warm and strong. Taehyung has missed the feel of it.
They ran until they reached an alley with a dead end. Jungkook let go of Taehyung's hand.
"You should be safe here. I don't think they followed us this far."
Taehyung feels out of breath. He should definitely work out more.
"Are you okay?" Jungkook asks, looking unaffected by their little sprint.
Stupid personal trainer.
Taehyung lowers his head and realizes that he is still wearing Jungkook's coat.
"Keep it on. You were freezing back there," Jungkook says as if he can read his mind.
Taehyung raises his head and looks at him. Looks at his disshelved hair, his exposed chest since two of the buttons on his shirt are undone.
God, why is he so effortlessly sexy?
"I should go home now."
"I will accompany you."
Taehyung glares at him and shakes his head. He doesn't want him around anymore. He is mad at Jungkook. And hurt. And offended.
"But you are wearing my coat and I want you to keep it until you are home since you are cold. But I need my coat, so I will just accompany you and take it with me afterwards," Jungkook reasons with a shrug. "Let's go."
"I said no."
Taehyung pulls off the coat and shoves it at Jungkook.
"You can go wherever you were heading to and I will go home by myself, /trainer/. You are not getting paid for accompanying me to my place."
Jungkook sighs exaggeratedly and fixes him with a glare.
"Fine," Taehyung repeats stubbornly and starts to walk out of the alley.
Jungkook follows him. And keeps following him further.
Taehyung stops and turns around.
"Yah! I said I don't want you to accompany me home."
"I am not. I was heading in that direction, too, by chance," Jungkook replies with an innocent smile and a half shrug.
Taehyung should have expected that. Jungkook has always been like that.
But Taehyung is tired. The date night with Bogum was exhausting. He raises his arms in a surrendering shrug.
"I give up. Do whatever you want."
"Great. Why didn't you say so right away?" Jungkook says with a smirk and wraps the coat back around Taehyung's shoulders.
They walk in silence for a short while.
"Why are you dating him? Bogum treats you like shit."
Taehyung keeps walking and ignores Jungkook's question.
"The two of you don't make a good couple. Bogum is a snob and stuck up. He's an attention seeker and-"
"No one asked you."
Taehyung tries to walk faster, but Jungkook catches up with him again.
"I know that you don't want to hear it and that you are mad at me. But why are you living with such a burden? You are so pretty and sweet. You can have anyone you want. You don't want Bogum. He-"
Taehyung stops walking and pushes him a little away. He glares at Jungkook.
"/You/ are a burden! So, please, just shut up. You don't have the right to tell me anything. Who are you to me? You are just my personal trainer, right? Then stay in your limit. You can talk about my exercises if you want. But don't interfere in my personal matters."
Jungkook approaches him again. He has a disappointed expression on his face.
"No, just stop. Stop talking. Stop hurting me."
Jungkook curses and grabs Taehyung's arms, holding him still.
"Listen, I said things I didn't mean, okay? Of course, you are more to me than just my client. I- I just-"
"I don't want to hear it, Jungkook. I am tired. I want to go home."
Taehyung tries to pull away, but Jungkook holds him in place. His touch burns him. His touch burns his skin every fucking time.
"I am sorry that you are tired, but I want to talk to you. You- you know nothing, Taehyung. You have no idea-"
"I know one thing- I was madly, deeply in love with you and you broke my heart in pieces back then. That's what I know and that's enough."
Taehyung holds his tears back and looks at the ground.
"You broke up with me two years ago. And you cancelled our friendship last week as well. So, please- respect your own choices. You want us to be trainer and client? Fine with me. But- don't worry about me, don't protect me. Don't give me hope. It hurts like hell."
Something glistens in Jungkook's eyes. He runs his hands down Taehyung's arms and grasped both of his hands.
"Tae, you never let me explain. You never understood why I let you go back then. I have- I have never stopped loving you-"
"Don't!" Taehyung shakes his head as if he could shake away Jungkook's words. "Don't even go there. Don't you dare!"
Jungkook tightens the hold on Taehyung's hands. He doesn't seem to plan to let go.
"You just- you made something up in your head back then. You assumed /things/ and then you just believed it. But it was never the truth. I-"
"Jungkook! Stop! I don't want to talk about that! It doesn't matter anymore. It's in the past. It's over and- I am with Bogum now and I am happy. Just go home and we will see each other next week in the gym."
"You are lying to yourself. You are definitely not happy with fcking Bogum."
"As I said before- that is not your business," Taehyung hisses in a whisper and pulls his hands away, but stays close.
Jungkook leans in. His face is dangerously close to Taehyung's.
"You are wrong. It is my business. Because it's you. Because l am still in-"
"I am so going to kill you if you finish that sentence!" Taehyung growls. His heart has started to race and he doesn't like it.
[ My bed is calling for me.
I will update this soon. ]
[ Choose: ]
"But it is the truth. I am still in love with you," Jungkook whispers and leans in, his breath fanning Taehyung's lips. "I am an idiot. I made mistakes in the past. But I have never stopped loving you."
Taehyung wants to kick him as hard as he can. He wants to push Jungkook away and hit him. Again and again.
But Taehyung can't. Jungkook's words made his body freeze.
He still loves him?
"I hate you so much for saying that."
Jungkook cups Taehyung's face, lips a breath apart from his.
"I- you have no idea how much I missed you. I want to kiss you so bad. I look at you and I just want you to be mine again."
Taehyung closes his eyes and focuses on his breathing.
"I was yours. And you pushed me away."
"I pushed you away because I didn't want to stand between you and your dream to be the beautiful, stunning model you are today."
Taehyung snaps his eyes open and glares at Jungkook.
"/You/ were my dream, asshole. But you just decided for me. You believed that my job is more important to me than you. But guess what? It never was."
Jungkook leans away but wraps his arms around Taehyung's waist, keeping him close.
"Please, let's talk about it. Let's clear things up. Tae, I almost died after we broke up. I couldn't even look at anyone else. You were- you /are/ the standard. I don't want anyone else."
Taehyung feels like crying. It is too much for him. He is too overwhelmed.
"Jungkook. But that's not all. You were jealous. Possessive. You hated my colleagues. You hated the photographer. You wanted to kill the paparazzi. It would have never wor-"
"I still do." Jungkook pulls Taehyung even closer until their bodies are almost melding together. "Don't tell me you hate that. Don't tell me you rather like it when your /boyfriend/ just watches and does nothing against those perverts and stalkers."
"I want you to feel protected. And loved. And cared for. I want- you."
"Don't even think about it," Taehyung says warningly as he notices Jungkook staring at his lips.
"I can't help myself."
"N-no, no, yo-you, stop. I'm with Bogum," Taehyung manages to stutter as Jungkook moves his head, nosing his cheek gently.
Taehyung is close to fainting or throwing up. Or both. Jungkook is too close. Taehyung wants to touch him, wants to melt into him.
"Fuck Bogum," Jungkook whispers and reaches out, tracing his thumb across Taehyung's lower lip.
"Jungkook, don't. Don't you dare to kiss me."
"I want you so bad."
Taehyung shudders. Jungkook's burning eyes on him are almost too much to handle.
Taehyung wants him, too. He has missed him as fuck. But he is still hurt. He still doesn't fully understand why Jungkook let him go back then.
"Let me show you that I never stopped loving you. Give me a chance to make it up to you. Please- baby."
Shivers ran down Taehyung's spine because of the nickname.
"You stupid idiot. Don't call me that. You lost the right to-"
"My sweet, beautiful, perfect baby," Jungkook whispers and then he presses his lips against Taehyung's. So gentle, soft and careful.
Taehyung feels like he has never been kissed
before. He closes his eyes helplessly, his body trembling.
Bogum's kisses has just been kisses. Nothing more.
Jungkook's kisses are different. They make Taehyung burn. Make him feel alive.
"I am sorry," Jungkook breathes against Taehyung's lips before claiming his mouth again.
Taehyung should push him away. He shouldn't clutch the front of Jungkook's shirt and pull him even closer. He definitely shouldn't open his mouth and let Jungkook deepen the kiss. He shouldn't feel the desire. He shouldn't want more.
Taehyung hates himself for being so weak.
One of Jungkook's hands cups his butt and gives it a squeeze and Taehyung likes it. A lot. He holds back a moan.
Taehyung hates cheating. Is he cheating on Bogum right now? He doesn't know. He can't think straight with Jungkook's tongue, exploring his mouth.
Jungkook pulls away to let them both breath and rests his forehead against Taehyung's. He stares right into his soul.
This is the moment Taehyung starts to panic. What the fuck is he doing?
"Why are you frowning?"
"This kiss changes nothing. This was a mistake. I need to go."
"Tae, come on-"
"No!" Taehyung steps back. "You can't just kiss me and think everything is fine again! I had a weak moment and you used it."
"Taehyung. You kissed me back. With enthusiasm."
"Shut up. I did not."
Jungkook chuckles. He looks so sexy right now. So f*ckable.
Taehyung curses and averts his eyes.
"I will leave now. And you won't follow me this time!"
"Fine. But then I will make you forgive me. And you won't even remember Bogum's name afterwards."
[ Where should the next part take place? ]
✼ ҉ ✼ ҉
One of Jungkook's clients, another model, has invited him to a fashion show in town.
Jungkook has never been to such a show before. He doesn't care about all those high class models and he doesn't care about the latest fashion.
But Jungkook knew that Taehyung would be there and would walk the runway. And he wanted to see him and support him.
That's why Jungkook decided to agree to the invitation and join that boring fashion show.
Jungkook is sitting in the second row, trying to keep his eyes open. The show is already in full swing.
Too many snobs are here, too many rich people- gaping, judging the poor models on the runway.
Jungkook hates it. He can't stand that group of people.
Jungkook doesn't care about anything in this place. He just waits for Taehyung. But it seems that the best is saved for last.
Jungkook pulls out his phone and opens his chat with Taehyung. He smiles because of their last conversation the night before.
Jungkook looks up when all the lights turn into a spotlight all of a sudden. And that spotlight is /him/.
Jungkook almost drops his phone out of his hand. He gapes and stares.
Taehyung is stunning. He looks like an angel- just in black. Pretty from head to toe.
Jungkook can't avert his eyes from Taehyung even for a second. He is breathtaking. Too beautiful to be allowed to exist.
How could he let him go? How could he let him walk away?
Jungkook stays for the after show party. He actually didn't want to. But Taehyung is here and he hasn't talked to him yet.
Jungkook has also noticed Taehyung's eyes on him. He probably wants to approach him- but resists, being a brat.
But Jungkook has patience. He can wait.
The music is too loud and there are too many people. Dancing, showing off their beauty. Drinking.
Jungkook isn't the party type. He lives a healthy lifestyle most of the time. He doesn't drink. He doesn't smoke.
Jungkook spots Taehyung on the dance floor. He seems tipsy. He swings his hips seductively, tongue darting out to lick his lips from time time.
Jungkook keeps watching Taehyung's every move and that of anyone else close to him.
There are too many hungry eyes on Taeyhung right now and it bothers Jungkook. Mostly men are ogling him as if they had never seen a pretty guy before. There are so many models here.
Why would they only stare at Taehyung?
Something like possessiveness courses through Jungkook's veins and a wave of unjustified anger boils within him, threatening to erupt. He balls his hand to a fist.
Taehyung isn't his. Not anymore. But all of this still bothers Jungkook.
Taehyung's clothes aren't helping. His rather tight pants hug his thighs and butt, showing off his curves. His alluring curves who makes Jungkook's blood boil.
Taehyung is a seductive man, driving him wild with desire. Driving others wild with desire, too, as it seems.
Two men, probably photographers, start to get very close to Taehyung. One of them wraps an arm around Taehyung's waist from behind.
It is too intimate and something snaps in Jungkook. He curses and heads towards them.
As soon as Taehyung sees him, a drunken smile turns up his lips. He tries to move toward Jungkook, but the blonde guy behind him presses closer against his body. He holds Taehyung tight while whispering something in his ear.
Someone is going to d!e in the next seconds.
"Let go of him!" Jungkook hisses low and dangerous, glaring at the blonde fiercely. "Now!"
"Why should I? I was here first."
Jungkook tongues his cheek and forces himself to take a few deep breaths, trying to calm down. It was hard not to hit that fucker straight in the gut.
Jungkook knows that he can't make a scene here. Taehyung would never forgive him for that.
So, instead of punching that blonde asshole, Jungkook grabs Taehyung's wrist and pulls him against his chest.
Taehyung lost his footing and stumbles in his drunken state, but Jungkook keeps him in place, half hugging him now.
"There you are," Taehyung mumbles against his cheek with a chuckle, his breath hot against Jungkook's ear. "It's boring without you."
"Are you alright?"
Jungkook grasps Taehyung's upper arms to steady him, trying to look him in the eyes.
"Yes, yes. I drank a little too much."
"You don't say. Why did you-"
"Dude, you shouldn´t leave your boyfriend by himself. Everyone could get the wrong idea," the blonde guy mutters annoyed before turning around to walk away.
"Shut the fuck up," Jungkook hisses in his direction, protectively wrapping an arm around Taeyhung.
"Are you sure you are alright? Did he say something- did he make you feel uncomfortable?"
Jungkook asks Taehyung and turns his eyes back on him.
"Kookie, I am good. Why wouldn´t I be alright? I am having fun."
"Kookie, huh? Wow- you must be drunk as fuck. I can't remember the last time you called me that."
Taehyung laughs and wraps his arms around Jungkook's neck. His eyes are narrowed, cheeks flushed.
"Let's- dance. I want to dance with you."
Jungkook groans and looks in Taehyung's
happy face. He doesn't dance. And he hates to do it in public.
But Jungkook still decides to do dance with Taehyung before some other asshole would come and grope him again.
Jungkook puts his hands on Taehyung's hips as a slow song starts playing. He pulls him closer, smells his perfume, his hair.
"Where is Bogum?"
Taehyung rests his head on Jungkook's shoulder as they continue to dance. He sighs softly.
"Why are you always asking me about him? Are you into Bogum by any chance?"
Jungkook growls and sinks his fingers into Taehyung's hips.
"I am asking because you were getting harassed by some fucked up dudes and your /boyfriend/ should be here to look after you. So, where is he?"
"He is busy. I don't want him here anyway- whoops."
Jungkook stops dancing and pulls away to look into Taehyung's eyes.
"Why? Did you have a fight? Did he do something to you? Did he hurt you after our little quarrel last week? I swear to God, if he touched you-"
"Stop. Stop. I am getting a headache because of so many questions."
Jungkook scoffs and reaches out to push a lock of hair out of Taehyung's eyes.
"You are getting a headache because you drank too much alcohol."
Taehyung squints his eyes as his whole body is swaying unsteadily.
"Why are you here anyway?"
Jungkook grabs Taehyung's arm, worried that he will fall backward.
"I wanted to see you. You were- you were amazing on the runway. You looked like an angel. So beautiful."
Taehyung's cheeks colors lightly. He averts his eyes. But then suddenly his posture changes.
"Don't. I am tipsy, but I still know that you and I- we are not a couple anymore, so stop saying sweet things to me. And do- don't touch me."
Jungkook frowns because of his sudden change of mood.
"Tae, come on. You-"
"No. I am serious. Leave me alone. I-I need some fresh air," Taehyung mumbles and staggers away, heading towards the roof terrace.
Jungkook follows him on the terrace. The weather is cold- everyone else is inside.
Jungkook walks up to Taehyung who is already leaning on the terrace railing. His head is hanging low.
"Why did you break up with me? Why was it so easy for you to leave me?" Taehyung whispers without looking up. His voice sounds thick with tears.
"You said you never stopped loving me." Taehyung looks up and stares at Jungkook with bleary eyes. "/I/ never stopped loving you. Tell me, how is it that I could have never broken up with you? But you could? You did."
He's still in love with me?
Jungkook is too overwhelmed. And his heart breaks seeing Taehyung this upset. He steps closer and reaches out, cupping Taehyung's face with both hands.
Two thick tears roll down Taehyung's cheeks and Jungkook wipes them away with his thumbs.
"Don't cry. I- fuck, I knew that you loved me very much. You would have given up your model career for me. And I didn't want that. Your dreams were too important-"
"Why did you never talked with me about that? You just- left. You left me like I didn't mean anything to you."
"No, no." Jungkook leans in and kisses Taehyung's fresh tears away. "You meant- you /mean/ everything to me. Everything. You have no idea. Baby, you-"
"Don't call me that," Taehyung mumbles with a pout, looking down.
Jungkook pulls his hands off Taehyung's face and cups his chin, forcing him to look at him.
"I am sorry. I am so sorry for not saying anything. I thought it would be easier that way. I am an idiot. I am sorry."
Taehyung is still pouting, but the tears has stopped. He blinks at Jungkook with Bambi eyes.
"Did you mean it?"
"Did you mean it when you said that there was no one- that you didn't have anyone after we have parted?"
Jungkook smiles and drops a kiss on the tip of Taehyung's nose. He loves his pretty nose. Loves the faint mole on it.
"You were, you /are/ the only one for me and in the past two years- there was no one. That's right. But, but you are with Bogum, so- I am too late, I guess."
Taehyung grimaces. He seems upset. He frowns.
"But apart from Bogum-you have always said that you don't fit into /my/ model world. You said that you can't endure it and-"
"I know. And I still think that I don't fit. I-I can't handle it to see you getting treated without respect by managers or arrogant photographers. And I hate it when media writes bullshit about you, judges your beauty and you-"
"Jungkook, what are you saying?" Taehyung whines.
"I hated the thought of being without you. You go to different events, fly somewhere far away from me, stay in other cities alone- without me. I knew that I would miss you too much. But I miss you now as well. I always miss you between our exercises. It's- it's devastating. I-"
"Stop talking," Taehyung whines and leans in, pressing a quick but urgent kiss on his lips. "Just stop saying these things. You are making me crazy- seriously."
Jungkook is taken aback by the sudden kiss. But he knows that Taehyung is drunk.
There is someone else entering the roof terrace, but Jungkook has his eyes fixed on Taehyung and the sad pout on his pretty lips.
"I can't imagine a life without you. So- I will take whatever you give me- like the desperate man I am. Desperate for you."
Taehyung glances at the woman who has came outside to smoke, not paying attention to them. He turns his eyes back on Jungkook and slaps his chest.
"Why are you so sweet? I am tipsy and I feel very attracted to you right now, so- stop saying all these things for fuck's sake."
Jungkook takes Taehyung's hand which is resting on his chest now, brushing his thumb over his knuckles.
"You are right. You are not sober right now. And I won't take advantage of that. I should go home now. I said everything I wanted to say."
Taehyung pouts adorably when Jungkook let go of his hand and steps away.
"You will come to the gym in two days, right?"
"Yes. And I will tell you something then," Taehyung replies, fluttering his lashes at Jungkook.
"What will you tell me?"
"You have to wait. I will tell you when I am sober. You can wait, right?"
Jungkook can't wait. He is already going crazy and he probably won't be able to sleep for the next three nights, scared what Taehyung is going to tell him.
"Okay. I wait."
✼ ҉ ✼ ҉
Taehyung arrives half an hour too early for his individual training. But he is impatient. He couldn't wait to see Jungkook again.
Taehyung misses him- all the time now. He is slowly going crazy.
Taehyung opens the door to the gym and enters with quick steps. He freezes.
Jungkook is lifting himself up on the pull-up machine, not wearing a shirt. His back muscles bulge and he grunts softly.
Taehyung almost chokes on his breath, not able to avert his eyes.
"Hi, it's me," Taehyung chokes out, trying to sound matter-of-fact.
Jungkook stops in his movements and let go of the handles. He turns around to face him.
"Tae, hi," Jungkook says and glances at the clock on the wall. "You are early."
And you are fucking hot.
"Yeah, I know. I just- I, I- you just do your thing. I will find something to busy myself until you are done," Taehyung stutters and scratches his nape. He stares at Jungkook's chest. He is not even sweating.
Jungkook looks at Taehyung. He looks like he wants to say something, but he keeps silent.
"What is it?"
"We can start with your training now. My other client cancelled."
Jungkook chuckles and starts walking towards him. He stops right in front of Taehyung and gives him an once-over. His expression turns serious.
"You wanted to tell me something today."
Taehyung isn't ready. Not now. "Yes, I wanted to, but let's do my training first."
Taehyung tries to move around him, but Jungkook grabs his arm, pulling him against his chest. He stares at him with fierce but childlike intensity.
"Are you fucking serious right now? Can you see the bags under my eyes? I hardly slept for the past two nights, thinking about you and what you will or will not tell me today. And you want to do your training first?"
Taehyung averts his eyes. Jungkook makes him weak. And he is too close and his bare chest is just making him nervous. Everything about Jungkook is making him nervous.
"Yes. I want to exercise first," Taehyung replies stubbornly, jutting out his chin.
Jungkook scoffs and his eyes turn on Taehyung's lips.
"Stop pouting or I will push you against the machine behind you, so you can exercise your mouth muscles instead."
Taehyung feels a blush rise to his cheeks. He grabs the straps of his backpack and huffs.
"I don't think you are allowed to do that, /trainer/."
Jungkook growls and leans in, but before he could do something, Taehyung let out a yelp and runs towards the changing room. His heart beats uncontrollably in his chest as he leans against the cold wall.
Taehyung tries to calm down, taking deep slow breaths. He gets startled when the door opens and Jungkook comes inside, eyes fixed on him instantly.
"What are you doing here?" Taehyung asks, as if Jungkook isn't the owner of the gym.
Jungkook sits down on the bench, crossing his arms in front of his chest, eyes never leaving Taehyung.
"I am waiting for you to start your individual training."
Taehyung squirms under Jungkook's heavy gaze and pulls of his backpack.
"Okay. Then leave the dressing room and wait for me outside."
"But I want to wait here. Just- do your thing," Jungkook says, motioning Taehyung to continue.
"I will not undress in front of you."
Jungkook scoffs and runs his hot eyes up and down Taehyung's body slowly. He licks his lips.
"You act like I never saw you naked before. I did. Many, many times- in case you have forgotten. Why are you shy now?"
Taehyung puts his backpack on the bench and places his hands on his hips. He wants to smack Jungkook, another part wants to sit on his lap and make out with him. Taehyung curses inwardly.
"No. It's my gym."
"But I'm sure that you are not allowed to invade my privacy in the changing room like some pervert. Isn't this called sexual har-"
"What did you want to tell me, Taehyung?"
Jungkook stands up and closes the distance in two strides.
"Don't make me suffer any longer. Please."
Taehyung stares into Jungkook's big beautiful eyes and sees the hint of fear and worry in them. And he also notices the bags under his eyes. Jungkook is still handsome.
Has he been worrying so much about today?
"Tae, please. If- if you want to tell me that today is your last time in the gym and you won't come here again, then just say it. If you are here to tell me that you don't want to see me ever again, just- just say it and let's-"
"I broke up with Bogum."
Jungkook looks taken aback. His breath hitches in his throat audibly.
"What? Seriously? Out of nowhere?"
Taehyung fiddles with the sleeve of his hoodie, his eyes everywhere but on Jungkook.
"I just broke up with him. I did. I never wanted him in the first place. He is nice and he can be sweet, but- he isn't even my type and I just- God, I just dated him to get over you, Jungkook. But, but it never worked out. I never wanted to get over you in the first place...
...Bogum isn't you after all. And I never feel something, nothing, when he touches or kisses me, but- I felt so much with you. Sometimes I even imagined that it's you who touches me- pretty sick. But finally, I realized that it wasn't fair to keep that /relationship/ going beca-"
"Hey, Tae, take a breath. You are rambling," Jungkook whispers and places his hands on Taehyung's hips, pulling him flush against his body. He fights a smile, but it comes anyway. "Are you serious about everything you just said?"
Taehyung huffs and glares at him. "God, yes, Jungkook. Of course, I am serious! Do you think I am joking right now? Isn't it obvious?" he asks in a whine and looks at him with a pout. "I was even thinking about you when we-"
Jungkook cups his face and crushes his lips on Taehyung's, causing him to whimper from the intensity.
"I almost died because of nervousness. And you fucking broke up with him?" Jungkook mumbles against his lips and lifts Taehyung up, letting him wrap his legs around his waist.
Taehyung moans into his mouth before kissing Jungkook with wild desperation. The latter holds him effortlessly and it makes Taehyung weak. Weak for him.
They break apart when Taehyung's lungs threaten to burst. He rests his forehead against Jungkook's.
There's still one thing.
Taehyung closes his eyes and whispers, "I am still a model though."
There's a beat of silence.
"Look at me," Jungkook demands in a gentle voice.
Taehyung flutters his eyes open and stares into these pretty brown orbs which has been mesmerising him since day one.
"I'll work on me. I promise. I'll work on my jealousy and possessiveness."
Jungkook presses a kiss on Taehyung's nose. "I'll learn to be patient and wait for you to come back home to me," he adds and kisses Taehyung on the lips, biting his lower lip before pulling away.
"I will hold back. I will try my best not to beat the crap out of everyone who looks and touches you the wrong way. I will work on it. I promise-"
Taehyung silences him with a kiss, feeling too overwhelmed by everything. He smiles.
"I never said that it bothers me, idiot."
"What do you mean?"
Taehyung kisses him again because he is addicted. He can't keep away anymore and Jungkook is still holding him- and that fact makes him giddy.
My strong, sexy man.
"Maybe I like it when you are jealous and possessive. Sometimes I just want someone to defend me and insult the annoying paparazzi, fight off nasty photographers. And I love that you're that someone and- I want that. I want you," Taehyung admits shyly, knowing that he's blushing.
"Fuck, you are killing me, baby."
Jungkook groans and puts Taehyung down, keeping him flush against his body though. He kisses him.
"But it could hurt your reputation. You will be known as the famous, sexy, most prettiest model with the hot-tempered, bad-boy boyfriend."
"I never wanted something else," Taehyung jokes before wrapping his arms around Jungkook's neck, kissing him. "Seriously- I don't care about my reputation. I only care about you. It has always been you."
"I love you. I am so sorry for everything-"
Taehyung silences Jungkook with another kiss. "Don't. I forgave you already. And I love you, too," he says before biting his lip with a smile. "Can we- can we skip the training and go to your office?"
Jungkook chuckles and beams at him with stars in his beautiful eyes.
"That's not what I get paid for though. But if you insist-"
Taehyung grabs his hand and pulls him along- hardly containing his desire to jump his man right here, right now, where everyone could see them.
[ That's it. I hope you enjoyed my "short" drabble
