It all started with a graph theory algorithm to identify "central" TFs in the oogenesis gene regulatory network, and later turned into an all-out screening effort in primordial germ cells (hPGCLCs), leading to publications in

@StemCellReports.

In the end, we identified a subset of TFs (termed DNR3) that, when overexpressed in hiPSCs, generate induced oogonia/oocyte-like cells (iOLCs)! Our iOLCs can be maintained in feeder-free conditions and be expanded post-isolation.
During all of this, I co-founded

@Dina Radenkovic, who recently raised an amazing Series A round for the company!
