LIKE FROM WHAT I UNDERSTOOD THEY ASKED HIM BEFORE THE STATEMENT. AND THEY BANNED IT JUST BASICALLY FOR PR REASONS ALRIGHT.

For anyone who missed it, i cant post the clip but i can transcribe what he said: They (Twitch) only removed it (gambling) when it started to be an actual PR disaster for them, cause they knew it was a problem (...) for months, because I was ASKED by Twitch "Hey! What do you think about this?" and I told them "I think its like the same thing as someone doind something that causes them physical harm because its encouraging it and advertsing it" and they were just like "Oh Cool!" and proceeded to have it up until it started to be a PR disaster
