#OTD in 1999: Qantas Flight 1, a B-747, overruns the runway on landing in Bangkok (Thailand). All 410 aboard survive, 38 minor injuries, Jet substantially damaged. Incident occurred at night in bad weather. Factors: meteorology, aircraft configuration, crew training/actions, CRM.
