I am delighted to share with you all my first first author paper published in @ACS Nano! We show a revamped synthetic route to COF synthesis that enables facile solution processing of COF nanoparticle suspensions to films, membranes, and monoliths. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

We show that precursor mixing temperature, solvent system and acid catalyst all affect rate of nanoparticle formation in solution. Adjusting these synthesis parameters to slow down nanoparticle formation in solution enables access to COF nanoparticle suspensions.
The COF nanoparticle suspension undergoes a thermo-reversible suspension to gel transition.
This temperature dependent gelation process enabled facile solution processing of COF nanoparticles to highly crystalline and porous COF scaffolds easier than ever reported.
Enjoy the read and am happy to answer any questions or take any suggestions! Also stay tuned for some great applications to come soon👩‍🔬 !!
