On Thanksgiving Eve, I’m incredibly thankful that, 10 years ago today, 19 super passionate Nets fans accepted an invitation to join from a brand-new Nets fan AND total stranger in cheering on the @Brooklyn Nets against the Lob City-era Clippers …

Our small group made an impact with an “Over-Rated!” chant that quickly caught on and led to 2 critical missed late-game FTs (no hard feelings, Blake?) and Nets went on to beat a team that was favored against us. Most importantly, we had SO MUCH FUN & we decided to keep it going

That small group of die-hard Nets fans became known as The Brooklyn Brigade and our growth in number and impact over the past 10 YEARS has far exceeded even my wildest dreams.
