Victoria and the Andrews Government are leading the way in fighting climate change in Australia.
Our target of 75-80% emissions reduction by 2035 makes Victoria one of the fastest, if not the fastest, jurisdictions in the world in reducing emissions.
It's part of Labor's plan to transition Victoria to cleaner, cheaper renewable energy by 2035 and reaching net zero emissions by 2045.
Our world leading battery storage target will help us meet 95% renewable energy by 2035.
So will offshore wind which will power 1.5 million homes by 2032 and we're bringing back the SEC with cheap, government-owned renewable energy.
100% of Victorian Government operations will powered by renewable energy by 2025 as well.
Only Labor will build the renewables we need to replace coal - to keep the lights on, and bills down while Victoria transitions towards a renewable energy and net zero future.
