I have decided, ahead of my 12th anniversary of working @ ILM, I’d chat into the void about every project I’ve had the honor to work on,chronologically. I’m starting off with 3 films, b/c it actually was 3 films! When I started as a Resource Assistant, I was given a choice. (1/5)

To work on Transformers 3 or split my time on Pirates 4/Cowboys & Aliens/Super 8 (production needs are complex!). As a girl who had 5 Cpt. Jack Sparrow posters, I BEGGED for option 2. And got my wish! (2/5)
I contributed a bit to Super 8 and Cowboys & Aliens, but worked mostly on Pirates 4. So, while Super 8 was my first actual credit (which I love!), Pirates 4 was the first credit I put my blood, sweat and overtime into. (3/5)
I love the POTC series still, and to see my name while Hans Zimmer’s rendition of one of my favorite scores by Klaus Badelt played, my heart SOARED. It is a memory that lives with me forever, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. (4/5)
I had always heard what seeing your first credit felt like, but it’s something that words never can capture. The scene w/ Blackbeard’s death at the Fountain of Youth remains my favorite. The FX sim by LEGENDARY Branko Grujcic was just exquisite: youtu.be/TyJHu22lXeY (5/5)
And yes, this is a POTC stan account. I unapologetically love them. They are a massive reason for my love of VFX, especially this fella here (6/5, that right, I break boundaries):
