And here's the info they gave us:
1. The paper is constructed with the following:
80% Recycled Calcium Carbonate (Mostly construction waste) Recyclable
18% Recyclable HDPE (High Density Polyethylene
...this is eco friendly and infinitely recyclable)
2% Coating - finisher - also infinitely recyclable
2. The stone paper manufacturing process uses 80% less electricity and 0 water, produces 60% less CO2 than traditional paper manufacturing.
3. The ultimate goal is closing the loop on recycling...collecting used stone notebooks and paper, breaking it down into the components listed above and making it into new notebooks and paper. Each component used in making the paper can be broken down and reused infinitely.
