th has no idea that he's spider man; has no idea that jm's alter ego is a masked vigilante, that his quick reflexes aren't simply a product of years of dancing and running. "what're you gonna do if I'm no longer around one day?" jm asks, gaze softening. "why wouldn't you be?"

"anything could happen," jm murmurs, pulling th closer and closer until their chests are touching, hearts beating in sync. "but if something happened to you," th says, pouting cutely, "who'd catch me when I fall?" "exactly," jm says, snorting softly. "so be careful. please?"

"but how can I look at the ground when the sky is so beautiful and so different every day?" th asks, and he's obviously joking, because there's a twinkle in his eyes even as he wraps his arms around jm's neck and holds him close.

"s'too bad," th says, shrugging nonchalantly. "guess you'll just have to stick around, safe and sound." and though jm rolls his eyes, he can't help the fond smile that pulls at his lips as th leans in and steals a quick kiss from the unmasked hero.
