An absolutely ridiculously detailed breakdown of the sonic riders outfits A

SHOES!

Sonic: Instead of a white stripe and gold buckle it has two white straps with gold buckles “Socks” are missing (or perhaps his shoe is unrolled) Green things on the front (idk what they're called) they match his eyes!

Tails: Shoes are nearly identical, except they have added white shoe straps with gold buckles They are also missing the “socks” (or unrolled)

Knuckles: Instead of a yellow back the shoes have an almost yellow back covered by red foxing Instead of a Lego plate it's a smooth plate with a triangle The “socks” are very loose with potentially a zipper in the middle (could be a rolled down boot)

Vector: Instead of a simple flat shoe design, his orange accent color is used more, the color lining is white and there's two additional white straps with gold buckles

Shadow: Instead of white with black backing the whole shoe is black with a white vertical stripe and white foxing Additional there are two white laces with gold gear shaped eyelets “Socks” (ankle wear) are the exact same

Amy: Unsure if they are boots or sneakers as they're covered White stripe is still there but cut of by the red eyestay There are additionally two white stripes down the side of the shoe (and one white stripe on the back) The laces are white and buckled(?) by gold triangles

Cream: The back is entirely covered by yellow, the orange area of the shoe is “more detailed” On top of it all is a velcro strap Her socks are replaced with Shadow esc ankle wear They also appear to have a tie implying the shoes might be a bit big on her (like tails gloves)

Rouge: Unsure if they are boots as they're covered by pants White hearts are completely gone, but there is a vertical pink stripe and pink foxing On top are pink straps with gold triangle buckles

Blaze: Reminisce of her original shoe design, kept the white stripe (although it's covered by what I assume is more foxing) The shoes are now boots with another vertical strip up to the lining

Silver: Also very reminisce of his original shoe design, kept the teal fronts and white stripe (although it's more detailed) There are eal lines (like his gloves) along the sides There are additional teal straps and at the top of the boot white laces with gold eyelets

Key notes: • All shoes are completely flat • All shoes cover the ankles - Silver and blaze are the only ones with boots • Designs with stripes keep all the stripes Except for sonic • Designs with colored vamps (fronts) keep the colored fronts +

5/10 designs have just two straps 2/10 designs have just laces - Cream has one strap - Silver has laces and straps 8/10 have some kind of lace or straps Only the two guardians, blaze and knuckles have no straps or laces 8/10 have golf accents 6/10 have some kind of foxing +

No shoe has regular socks/rolled down shoes (I don't actually know shoe terminology this is the lil chart I used be kind to me)

GLOVES!

Sonic: Same gloves but with a bracelet Tails: Same gloves but with a bracelet Knuckles: Same gloves but with a bracelet Vector: Exact same no changes Shadow: Exact same no changes Amy: Instead of a gold ring she has red wrist wear with a horizontal yellow stripe

Cream: Same gloves but with bracelet Rouge: Gloves are shorter, with pink lining the ends She has an additional ring bracelet Blaze: Same but with bracelet Silver: Exact same

Key notes: • All plain white gloves are the same but have an additional bracelet • All the male characters gloves have zero redesigns •2/4 female characters have redesigned gloves - Both rouge and Amy's gloves keep the main traits but add an accent color/Item

GOGGLES + GLASSES

Characters without goggles/glasses: - Amy - Rouge - Blaze - Silver - Vector

Sonic: Long thin sunglasses with light green (or blue) lenses Tails: Thick goggles, reminisce of classic mechanic goggles Knuckles: Long joined goggles, appear like ski goggles or scuba goggles etc… perhaps a fun nod to knuckle's adventurer side!

Shadow: Shield sunglasses shaped like chaos emeralds Cream: Not glasses or goggles, instead it's a transparent sun visor (Jet and wave are included as general examples) Jet: Big racers goggles Wave: Thin round fashionable sunglasses

Key notes: • All the guys have goggles or glasses 3/6 guys have goggles 2/6 of the guys have glasses (only hedgehogs) - Wave is the only girl with sunglasses 2/5 girls have any head accessories - Cream is the only character to have a visor, instead of goggles or glasses

CLOTHES! (I'm out of replies and will have to do this live now)

Amy: Still has a dress with white ends like her original dress Instead of a white collar the dress is collarless with the top being entirely white (She has additional pants that go all way down to her ankles with another white stripe on the side) Color has been changed to pink

Cream: Same dress but instead of a white collar and blue tie It has a white stripe and big star in the middle

Rouge: Total outfit change. Crop top with pants that cover ankles (the bottoms of the pants have a floral pattern!)

Blaze: Total outfit change. She wears a full race suit with a long zipper and open collar Her yellow collar is gone and that accent colors is used for multiple stripes on the suit

Key notes: • All the girls are wearing long pants except cream (Blaze is technically in a suit but it still covers her legs all the way) • Girls with dresses keep the dresses and have minimal design changes

OVERALL: The characters' original outfits are broken down into main elements that are recognizable (the colored fronts, big stripes, rolled gloves, etc..) The race designs then add more race themed elements to the original designs those mainly are Stripes Gold accents +

However many choices still think about the fashion and comfortability of a character. ( Shadow doesn't change his gloves, neither does Silver Amy keeps her dress, cream has velcro and visors probably due to her age, blaze wears a more race appropriate outfit, etc.. )
