Meghan Markle was filming a 30 second commercial for Reitmans, a Canadian clothing company aimed at middle class women with a middle class budget. By the second year of Reitmans' campaign to use Meghan to woo women into choosing to wear Reitmans' clothing, Meghan had an uppity attitude. She acted like Reitmans' clothes were beneath her, and she wanted to swath her body in Chanel or Dior. Meghan wanted to be the face of one of those companies. Jennifer Lawrence was and still is working with Dior on their campaigns, and she won an Academy Award. Meghan Markle was ranked as the sixth most important actor on a cable tv series. Huge difference. Meghan griped with the director about everything. The only time she was happy was when she was with her own hair stylist and her own makeup artist. Meghan wanted a manicure at the last second (time is money, but they found a manicurist for the woman, Meghan, they called fake-sweet). The manicurist chatted to Meghan as she worked on her nails, but when Meghan shut her out completely as we have seen her do to perfectly nice people, the manicurist continued her work in silence. She left the set in tears due to Meghan's bullying. From Tom Bower's book, Revenge: the manicurist said of working with Meghan Markle, "The situation caused me stress. It still haunts me." I'm going to point out to those who approve of Meghan's bullying and trolling along with those who are urged to troll and lash out in hate and anger are causing people stress. The reason why Prince William will never speak with Harry ever again in his lifetime is because the stress Harry and Meghan Markle have poured over Catherine and William has most likely contributed to Catherine having cancer. Most doctors believe stress brings on illness and disease. Back to Reitmans... Meghan's prima donna attitude on the Reitmans' shoot was so demanding (she deliberately ignored the director's cues), that the staff started conversing in French. Meghan was incensed. But this was a French-Canadian province after all, and they hated working with this minor-role actress with a stuck-up attitude. Things only grew worse. The next day when Meghan was filming tips on fashion, she was so upset with the lighting and sound that the staff brought her a pair of Altazzura suede heels to wear. Altazzura is high fashion and Meghan was permitted to borrow them for this day only. At one point Meghan told the director, "You can't make me say something I don't want to." What actress says this to a director? Any actress would be labeled as impossible to work with no matter how great she was, and Meghan is a mediocre (I'm being nice) actress. A person working on this shoot said (from Revenge), "I thought she was a bit of a bully filled with a narcissist entitlement complex that everyone walking on eggshells." Meghan's behavior was so terrible her agent phoned and demanded she send written apologies to the director and crew. Meghan never apologized, which is a trait of hers, and a new group of people were brought in to work with her on the next day. Nobody wanted to spend another moment with Meghan Markle, save her hair stylist and makeup person. This alone speaks volumes. Meghan is that toxic. She was hired to promote and be the 'face' of Reitmans, and Meghan's nastiness and demands made for a completely terrible experience. Had Meghan been nice, she would have most likely been recommended for more jobs like this. But Meghan never understood this part of her personality. She is blind to her bullying and sense of entitlement. When all the filming wrapped Meghan took those $1,200 shoes and wore them to death. Reitmans never gave her the shoes. Meghan just walked off with them, and she wore them for years. If you look at Meghan and Harry posing for their engagement announcement, Meghan is wearing the same Altazzura shoes, and they are dingy and dirty. Brand names matter too much to Meghan. Status matters too much to Meghan. A nice pair of heels that cost $200 would have looked much nicer. There is more about Reitmans, but this is long. More tomorrow...
