It’s been a bad few days for Rishi Sunak but not sure this helps…

denying broadcasters access to event

taking along £60k vanity photographer

telling journalists in advance not to ask about financial situation

ducking questions when they do mirror.co.uk/news/politics/

The Chancellor dodged broadcast journalists in the North – but was accompanied by a £60k-a-year publicly-funded snapper, who took glossy PR photos of his visit

Every Scottish journalist at the Tory conference just voted to reject terms laid down by No 10: either Rishi Sunak gets asked just one question about BBC chair Richard Sharp, or he doesn’t meet us. Absolutely wild scenes as the Conservative PM hides from media scrutiny

From press being sent to the wrong location to confusion around when interviews would take place, the writers of The Thick of It would have had a lot of material to work with from today's visit to NI by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak belfastlive.co.uk/news/news-opin

Sunak to speak at an event on importance of press freedom. Perhaps he will explain why he goes out of his way to prevent sketchwriters coming to all his events

And another No interviews or off camera questions from reporters today, during an election campaign Sunak really doesn't like scrutiny x.com/ShehabKhan/sta

BBC reporting what I tweeted earlier. Rishi Sunak not doing national media interviews today despite doing campaign visits. Report also adds that off camera questions from reporters have also been cancelled today.
