Wall Street Journal: "The U.S. Wanted to Knock Down Huawei. It’s Only Getting Stronger." wsj.com/business/telec This is all the more symbolic because Huawei was probably the Chinese company that lionized the West the most; one just needs to take a look at their headquarters glorifying Western architecture. And yet the US went all in (including holding the daughter of the founder hostage during 3 years!) to try to kill the company just because it was successful and Chinese. The fact they not only failed but made it stronger is both the clearest illustration of the US's impotence when it comes to containing China and a hopeful demonstration that it can pay off to resist Washington's mindless viciousness.
