Anthropic just released Computer Use along with Claude 3.5: Sonnet and Haiku.
Now, Claude can control your computer!
New Computer Use is likely one of the most advanced AI agents to date.
Here are 16+ examples of how people are already using Claude's Computer Use.
Here’s how to easily set up a working playground for Anthropic’s new computer use API.
Takes <10min.
It gives Claude 3.5 Sonnet a tool that can use a computer just like a human which opens up endless possibilities - it’s wild.
Absolute gamechanger for AI.
first look at anthropic's claude computer use demo. feel like it's cool but kind of underwhelming and definitely not cost effective (yet). 150k tokens just to visit and navigate through a couple sites :\
either the models have to get much much cheaper or your use case has to be insanely valuable.
or am i just missing something?
I just tried using @Anthropic Claude's computer use demo to research presidential candidates who will help end the scourge of chipotle burrito skimping.
It failed due to temporarily enhanced protections in the beta release.
Testing: Agentic Computer Use
An experimental @Anthropic Claude agent takes control of my screen, autonomously doing whatever is needed to get the job done #Devoxx
Claude Computer Use is the real deal: This meme was generated by Claude.
Literally my first prompt. Took ~5 minutes and ~1$, but Claude recovered several times from UI problems; very impressive!
Video is 1x speed at start+end and 16x in between...
Replit Agent + the new Claude Sonnet 3.5 computer use is wild!
Fully autonomous agents are not far away. Claude's computer use in Replit Agent serves as a replacement for human feedback, which is awesome
I tried searching jobs on LinkedIn with the new Claude Computer Use tool and the results looks promising!
I tried searching for jobs with specific keywords to make things a bit challenging for it.
Observations:
1. Computer Use wont enter your credentials. So I logged into my LinkedIn beforehand.
2. It has slight issue in identifying if the content is scrollable to perform scroll actions. Maybe WebDevs would start making robot friendly websites to solve it ;)
Although, if you mention it to scroll or provide info about hidden features, it excels then.
So a good prompting, human-LLM interaction understanding is required.
I will try working on some more demos and share with all of you. Good job developers @Anthropic@Alex Albert
Claude 3.5 sonnet uses the computer and goes on a search to find out who's Pliny the liberator @Pliny the Liberator 🐉 you're cooked
output in the post below
Just watched Claude master a computer like a digital puppet master. It's clicking and typing away while I sit here wondering if I should feel impressed or obsolete! #AI#ClaudeComputerUse
Messing around with Claude's computer use API
Very cool
Seems to be able to use terminal, correct errors, actually click stuff accurately
Exciting times!
Heck ya, spent $1 in API costs to get Claude with computer use to build me a really basic CRM excel sheet and then get rate limited. - I'm living in 3024 right now! /s
I'm sure there's going to be cool use cases dropping today - I'm just not that guy :)
Claude 3.51 as a full web+OS agent (video 16x speed!)
asked him to find some phonk music and put it in a spreadsheet. then save as csv and install a firefox addon that matches the final vibe of the music
you can see him get stuck and try several times on saving+adding the addon
