Democrats Have Scrubbed Roy Cooper’s @Governor Josh Stein X Account to Hide His Radical Record As Governor of North Carolina Ahead of His US Senate Run
In an unprecedented and deceptive move to hide a US Senate candidate’s history of radical left policies from 2017-2025, the Democrats and @Roy Cooper have changed the bio-name of his old X account from his time as Governor to pretend like Cooper’s old tweets were statements made by the new Governor of North Carolina, Josh Stein.
This raises questions about the ethics of not preserving official government Communications. Most Government accounts are archived and new administrations have new handles. How is Roy Cooper supposed to be held accountable for his 8 year radical record as Governor of NC if none of his old tweets can be attributed to him anymore?
It’s pretty remarkable that back in June 2018, Roy Cooper, then-Governor of North Carolina, hopped on the @Governor Josh Stein account to blast President Trump’s secure border policies at the Southern border.
Cooper ordered the recall of North Carolina National Guard members from their border duties. Cooper posted this order directly via @Governor Josh Stein and signed it with his initials, RC, making sure everyone knew it was him undermining strong border enforcement.
Why would the Governor need to sign his own tweet RC unless he planned ahead of time to conceal his old tweets? Was this his plan for the last 8 years?
Fast forward to today, and that very same X handle has undergone a full makeover and extreme sanitation in a calculated move by the Democrats to make it seem like Roy Cooper’s Governor X handle doesn’t exist anymore.
Cooper’s tweets from his time as Governor have not been archived and preserved the way they are supposed to be.
This has been the case ever since January 2025 when Democrat Josh Stein @Josh Stein took over as Governor of North Carolina.
The account name has been changed from reflecting Roy Cooper’s tenure to “Governor Josh Stein,” with the bio updated to “Official account of the 76th Governor of North Carolina.”
Clearly, the Democrats have had Cooper’s Senate run planned for a while and they are now trying to cover up his radical record by duping voters into thinking his old X account as Governor doesn’t exist anymore.
This is very deceptive and unethical. Now, every single article that was written about comments made by Roy Cooper when he was Governor attributes the comments to Josh Stein, which is going to confuse voters when they do their own research into Cooper.
@Elon Musk should make an archive of all of Cooper’s old tweets as Governor and assign it to an official archived account on X.
It call be called @NC_Governor75 or @NC_GovernorArchive
An ethics complaint should be filed against Roy Cooper, Josh Stein, and the @Senate Democrats for cheating. I hope @Elon Musk will change this for the sake of transparency.
This is election fraud. How can screenshots of Roy Cooper’s old tweets be taken and used in attack ads if all of the tweets now say Josh Stein?
That’s millions of dollars worth of attack ads that can’t be run on TV unless this gets changed.
It’s obvious this was their plan. Roy Cooper is advertised as a “2 term Moderate Democrat” when in reality, he’s one of the most radical Democrats in the country.
Cooper is literally funded by Jeffrey Epstein associate @Reid Hoffman and @George Soros @Alex Soros.

Radical leftist Roy Cooper @Roy Cooper said he “loves North Carolina” and he claims he will “fight his hardest for you and your families” if he becomes the next Senator for North Carolina.

In 2020, Kristin Cooper, Roy Cooper's wife, faced public backlash after admitting on Facebook to flipping off Trump supporting families, including a small child whose parents support Trump.
Cooper’s wife mocked voter integrity protestors outside the North Carolina State Capitol, referring to them critically as "pathetic clowns". She even attacked the child as a "brainwashed kid”.
She was later forced to apologize, saying, “My personal Facebook comments and actions leading to
it were inappropriate, and I am so sorry”.
She is only “sorry” because she got caught.
Do you really want a Senator who married a woman who bullies children because their parents voted for Trump? You can tell a lot about a person based on the person they chose to marry. It speaks volumes about their character when someone willingly marries a morally compromised woman who attacks children.
Cooper and his wife are communists who would punish a child because they grew up conservative.
Do not allow this communist to become a Senator. He will not protect your family unless you too are a communist.

This is DIGITAL ELECTION FRAUD! @Elon Musk can you please stop this election fraud and archive all of Roy Cooper’s tweets he posted as Governor of North Carolina and make sure an account attributed to his name is created on X where everyone can see what he posted so that they aren’t duped into thinking his radical views are the comments made by @Josh Stein?
