Autism is very misunderstood. Not just by the general population, but even by some "professionals" It’s not one thing. It’s not always obvious. And it’s not a flaw. Here’s what most people don’t know about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and why it matters 🧵

Autism is a spectrum not a label with a single meaning It can show up as: - Difficulties with social interaction - Being more sensitive with our senses - Repetitive behaviours - Struggling with communication But every autistic person is different. No two brains are the same.
The 3 support levels of Autism: - Level 1: Needs some support with social and practical tasks - Level 2: More obvious communication difficulties - Level 3: May be nonverbal and need full time support These are not about "severity", it's about how support needs.
Autism doesn’t discriminate. It affects people across every race, gender, background, and country. It often coexists with ADHD, dyslexia, and Anxiety disorders. Brain differences are natural, not a defect. The goal isn't to fix Autism, it's to understand it and support it.
Every week, I share personal experiments, honest wins and failures, and what I'm learning while navigating life with ADHD and Autism. It's practical. It's vulnerable. It's Real. It's built for neurodivergent minds. Join for free here: subscribe.autisticadhd.co
