Wonder how Graham Platner suddenly came out of nowhere as a Salt of the Earth Guy Progressive Candidate?
Well, its not merely luck, he's been manufactured by career political operatives. Time for a story...
Since the end of August when Platner filed he's pulled in over $3 million in campaign donations mostly by small donors after his viral ad.
Well. That ad was made by the same guy who's made Mamdani's ads. Morris Katz.
How did a rando guy from Maine swing that?
On Platner's FEC campaign filing a guy named Brandon Philipczyk shows as Custodian of Records.
Who is that? The same guy who has shown up on at least three other campaigns around the in the same role.

Brandon it turns out runs a political consulting firm in Florida called Bison Strategies.
In his 20+ year career he's worked multiple campaigns Florida Ops Director for Obama, Ops Director for the Texas Dems, Nevada Ops for Hillary, National Ops for the DNC...
Chief Operating Officer for the Florida Democrats, and Florida Ops for Bloomberg.
Hmmm. That doesn't seem very grassroots.

In Platners expense filings with the FEC, the largest expenses are for a Helix Campaigns in DC which has operated for years as a digital consultant to multiple campaigns
Grassroots Analytics, another DC political consultant firm is also there along with some smaller firms.
I point out all this info to show Platner is NOT an upstart out of nowhere who got lucky with a viral ad.
He's been manufactured from the start.
That's how he got a viral ad, big endorsements right away, and connected to influencers who are loudly defending him.
He's a product

His online hype is partially manufactured.
August 19th is the same day Platner filed and announced his campaign.
I can't immediately find the FEC totals, but Hogg's Leaders We Deserve PAC has filtered a lot of donations to him.
When did the two meet up? How did he already know this guy?

Also, Brandon Philipczyk was the hand picked Director of Operations in Florida for Obamas 2012 campaign.
You know how the Pod Saves Guys have been doing spin for Platner?
They were all Obama communications staffers and speech writers in 2012.
Mind you guys, Im a goober nobody. It might not be the same Brandon Philipczyk and this kinda falls apart because I made a bad assumption.
But there's enough here to show that Platner is a poorly vetted astroturfed candidate. The question remains, how did they find this guy?

Now I can't find it again , but I found the name Jennifer May who ran Next Level, a DC consulting firm and Jennifer May who just pled guilty to crypto fraud.
