THREAD: Today’s childhood vaccine schedule change is historic.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention just made one of the most sweeping changes to U.S. vaccination policy in history.
Even the New York Times is calling it a seismic shift.
Let’s break down what actually changed:
The numbers matter.
- 55 total doses removed from the childhood schedule
- Recommended vaccines reduced from 17 to 11
That alone should make people pause.
Vaccines are now grouped into 3 categories:
1- Recommended for all children
2- Recommended for high-risk children
3- Shared clinical decision-making
That last category is the real game-changer.
Vaccines that REMAIN on the schedule:
- MMR
- DTaP
- Hib
- Pneumococcal
- Chickenpox
- HPV
No bans. No removals. Access remains.
Vaccines moved to shared clinical decision-making:
- Hepatitis B
- COVID-19
- Influenza
- Rotavirus
- Hepatitis A
- Meningococcal ACWF
- Meningococcal B
This means real doctor-parent discussions must happen.
Informed consent is back.
Risks. Benefits. Ingredients. Adverse events.
Not slogans. Not blind compliance.
That’s a massive shift.
Another critical change:
A call for placebo-controlled randomized trials and long-term observational studies for current and future vaccines with transparent, published data.
This should have existed decades ago.
No vaccine is banned.
No family loses access.
This is about choice, evidence, and trust, not prohibition.
Trust in public health collapsed between 2020–2024.
Vaccination rates are falling.
Physician education around vaccine ingredients and adverse events is shockingly inadequate.
Doctors will now be forced to catch up.
One month ago, Donald Trump directed HHS & CDC to review how other countries design vaccine schedules.
The U.S. gives more vaccines to children than any nation on earth.
Countries like Denmark and Japan were cited as benchmarks.
They vaccinate far less and their children are not worse off.
So ask yourself:
Have American children been more at risk?
No.
This was never about protection.
It was about money and the failure to study cumulative toxicity of the full schedule.
That data has never existed.
Today’s overhaul is the closest we’ve ever come to a real, evidence-based review.
The schedule can’t be unwound overnight, people have been conditioned to believe in vaccines.
But belief is not science.
I’ve waited 25 years for this moment.
This change saves lives, it doesn’t endanger them.
It modernizes what I’ve long called the Pediatric Poisoning Program.
All vaccines carry unknown risks.
Most have limited safety data.
Many lack gold-standard evidence for preventing infection.
This is a beginning, not the end.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been in office less than one year.
Look at what’s already changed for children’s health.
That’s remarkable.
Thank you,
@Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
We’re behind you.
Keep going.
