The money mismanagement of WCPSS is something else. WCPSS got over $200M in federal COVID money to spend on air systems. They CHOSE to spend it on employee pay raises and benefits instead of HVAC and now need to raise your taxes to fix their HVAC problem (a problem they created). Now the only way to fix their problem is to raise taxes. Again. Using one-time money to fund new positions is also irresponsible. What a mess.
