Wiley Nickel, who has never prosecuted a case, is politicizing an office that he hasn’t even been elected to yet.  Instead of asking his Democratic Socialist colleagues on the Wake Board of Commissioners why they refuse to fund Wake Assistant DA positions for their own county, he’s attacking the state legislature who just appropriated funding for 10 new Deputy Clerk of Court positions for Wake County, the second largest number in the state, AND gave the Wake Sheriff a half a million in a direct grant, plus local law enforcement bonuses.  Wiley Nickel is still an unserious partisan hack, no matter what title he slaps on himself. #ncpol
